It had been a few weeks Since Anne had started living with the Planters. She had started to get used to living in Amphibia and all of its wackiness, she had even started to eat bugs. Over the weeks she had been living here, she had mostly spent time going on adventures with Sprig, although sometimes, she would help on the farm. The Planters had come to see Anne as part of the family. During the adventures with Sprig, Anne ended up meeting some of the townspeople, at first, they all still saw her as a monster but some of the crazier frogs such as Ivy Sundew, who was Sprig's only other friend, and One-Eyed Wally, the frog with one eye, became friends with her.

Anne's proficiency with her powers had grown over the weeks because of her having to use them when she or Sprig got in trouble during their adventures, and because anytime she had some time to herself, she had been practicing. She had come to learn that while using her powers she could obviously fly and move super-fast, but also that her strength increased by a lot, she could lift Bessie, who was the Planters snail, with little difficulty. Anne had also been able to mitigate the amount of stamina drained by using her powers, she still felt tired afterward, but she could still function like normal after use.

"Breakfast is served." Hop Pop said as he put a bowl in front of each of the kids.

It was a nice, warm day out in frog valley is barely any clouds in the sky. In front of each of the kids was a large bowl of Hop Pops favorite dish to make, bug soup, it wasn't the most delicious thing in the world but each person there ate it without any complaints. Anne even ate the bug which she had at one point despised but now came to tolerate. After breakfast had finished Sprig, Polly, and Anne all thanked Hop Pop for the food. Anne stood up and made her way to the front door.

"See ya later Hop Pop, you too Polly. Sprig and I are going to be out for the day." Anne said as she walked toward the door.

"Now where do you think you're going?" Hop Pop asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah Anne, where are we going?" Sprig also asked even though he would pretty much go anywhere with his best friend.

Anne put on a smirk. "Well… I seem to recall promising Spig to take him on a flight once I got more comfortable with using my powers, but if he doesn't want to then I guess I won't."

Sprig's jaw dropped to the floor; he had been constantly asking if Anne would take him flying. Anne would always respond with "I don't think I have enough control to be able to carry anyone yet, sorry Sprig."

"NO! NO! NO! I REALLY WANT TO GO! PLEASE TAKE ME!" he yelled as he jumped on her back and started shaking her.

"All right I get it, I'll take you on a flight, just please stop shaking me."

"What no fair, I want to go too!" Polly said jumping onto the table.

"Sorry Polly, maybe next time." Anne said from the front entrance. Sprig was still on her back as she closed the door behind her leaving Polly and Hop Pop alone in the house.

Anne and Sprig walked a small distance away from the house before Anne asked Sprig to hop off her for a moment which he complied. Anne took a deep breath in and let her powers flow as her eyes turned blue and she got covered in a blue aura, her hair had begun to point upward and the leaves and sticks in her hair became more numerous. Anne could have done her transformation faster, but she wanted to conserve energy as she didn't know how long their flight would be, and transforming quickly took more energy to do.

Anne looked back at Sprig who even though he had seen her transform multiple times, still couldn't get over how cool it was. "You ready to go?"

"Am I ever!" he said as he hopped on her back with one of the biggest smiles she had ever seen him wear.

Anne slowly rose off the ground into the air making sure that Sprig had a good grip on her shirt so he would fall off. Speeding up, Anne flew over to the central plaza of Wartwood giving Sprig a bird's eye view of the town. To Sprig it was magical and he could not stop smiling, the town he grew up in looked so small from up here.

"Anne! This is awesome!"

"I'm glad you like it."

"So how fast can you go?"

"I… don't actually know, I just know that I can fly very fast. You're going to ask me to go as fast as I can aren't you?"

"YEP!"

"Well then, you'd better hold on tight, or else you going to fall off." After hearing that Sprig got slightly worried and grabbed onto her shoulders with all his might. "Ready? because here we go!"

Anne sped off into the distance as fast as she could go, she could still feel Spig holding onto her shoulders but it did feel like he was slipping so she slowed down to a stop. They had only been flying at max speed for a minute, but they had gone so far that they couldn't see Wartwood anymore.

Anne looked back to check on Sprig only to see him frozen in a screaming position not moving. "You okay Sprig?" he didn't respond, he was still in shock at how fast they went so she gave him some time to let his soul catch up and re-enter his body.

His eyes came back to life after a few moments, and he took a deep breath before speaking in a shaky voice. "L-L-Let's not do that again. Uhm, where are we?"

"I… don't know, but I see a town over there so we could ask for directions."

They flew down to the front gate and Anne powered down. Looking at the sign the town appeared to be called Lily Paddington. I looked very similar to Wartwood the only difference was that it was much smaller and lily pads were everywhere. Stepping into the town they were almost immediately surrounded by frog holding pitchforks.

"A monster has appeared!" "Drive it out of town!" "We don't need more problems!" the townsfolk were all yelling.

Sprig jumped in front of Anne putting his arms out to guard her from the mob. "She's not a monster and we don't mean you any harm we just want directions!"

"I forgot other towns would see me as a monster." Anne whispered to Sprig.

The mayor of the town stepped forward out of the crowd. "If we give ye your directions, will ye leave?"

"Yes, we will." Sprig said.

"Well, where to ye need to go?"

Just as the mayor finished his question A frog came running through the crowd yelling something about how 'they' are attacking again. Upon hearing this every single citizen started screaming in panic and running around like headless chickens. Suddenly two large centipedes bust through a house destroying it and scaring the frogs even more. Two frogs froze in fear as one of the centipedes started to approach them, it was about the bite them when a blue blur scooped them up and brought the frog to safety while a ball of mud hit the centipede in the face temporarily blinding it. Anne continued to save the villagers while Sprig diverted their attention with his slingshot, eventually, the centipedes realized that something was stopping their destruction and left the town.

"Thank ye prink frog and monster for saving the town and its people!" the mayor said walking toward the two best friends. "Those two centipedes have been attacking the town for months now, you two seem very strong, could ye please go find them and take them down for good."

"I don't know if-" Anne started before being cut off by Sprig.

"Come on Anne, we have to help them. We can't just leave them to their fate."

"Uhhhhhhh… fine, we'll help." She said with a sigh. "Do you know where their home is?"

"As a matter of fact, we do." The mayor said.

Anne and Sprig made there over a hill and spotted the two centipedes sleeping. The two quickly ducked back down below the hill to come up with a plan.

"Okay Anne, go blue and punch them until they run away. I'll cover you with my slingshot." Spig said with excitement as he pulled out his slingshot.

"Sprig, I don't think I should 'go blue'. I'm already feeling tired from using it and If I use it again, I don't know if I will be able to fly us home." Anne peeked over the hill eyeing the two centipedes. "Let's figure something else out."

"Okay… umm…. I got it! We can use the planter family hunting dance. We can build a trap and lure them in with it!"

"I don't know what that is but let's do it!"

Anne and Sprig started to build their trap a small distance away from the centipedes so as not to wake them up. After around an hour of working their trap was finally completed, it was beautiful, it was awesome, it was complex… it was just a deep hole with leaves on top.

"Okay, that should do it. Go wake them up and lead them here, then hide." Sprig told her as he pushed her away and toward where the centipedes were. Anne arrived where the centipedes were still sleeping. They must be super lazy if all they have done today was attack a town and sleep, Anne thought to herself. She started throwing rocks and yelling at them to wake them up and get them angry enough to chase her, and it worked wonderfully. Their heads instantly poked up and spotted her. Wide eyes Anne dropped the last rock she was going to throw and ran away toward Sprig screaming and the two centipedes followed after her.

"SPRIG! YOU'D BETTER BE READY BECAUSE HERE THEY ARE!"

Anne burst into the area Sprig was waiting and dove into a bush to hide. The two centipedes followed soon after before stopping clearly questioning where their annoying prey had gone, luckily for them something else had presented itself to them, a small pink frog.

Sprig stood in front of the covered hole they had dug eyeing the two bugs, once they had spotted him he started the Planter family hunting dance. Sprig started the performance by sliding his left foot outwards against the ground before bending down on all fours and shaking his rump. Standing back up, he shuffled while shaking his fists right and left before slapping his bended knees a few times. Afterward, he puffed out and slapped his cheeks to create a hollow drumming sound. Lastly, he got down on his stomach and started flopping like a fish, which precedes smacking face-first into the ground repeatedly. Anne could barely hold in her laughter watching what Sprig was doing, even if it was ridiculous, it was clearly working. The two centipedes started to walk toward Sprig in almost a trance-like state.

The two bugs reached the hole and one of them fell in creating a loud thud. The other centipede snapped out of the trance, it seemed that all that was needed to break the trace was a loud noise, and the thud from the other centipede accomplished that. The remaining centipede looked into the hole and saw its friend before it looked up and Sprig and started to charge at him.

Sprig started screaming in fear before running away. "ANNE DO SOMETHING!"

As Sprig passed by the bush she was hiding in Anne wasted no time as she jumped out of the bush, swung off a tree branch, and landed right on top of the centipede's head. Anne grabbed hold of the bug's antenna and tried to steer it toward the hole, it tried desperately to fight against Anne's control trying to kick her off like the mechanical bull at the fair, Anne being an expert at this game thanks to all the times she went to the fair with Sasha and Marcy, did not fall off and was able to drive the bug into the hole before jumping off at the last moment. At that moment Sprig activated the last part of their trap dropping a few large boulders into the hole burying the centipedes alive (gruesome).

"WE DID IT!" Sprig yelled running over to Anne.

"Of course we did, after all, we're Anne and Sprig!"

"Sprig and Anne!"

"SPRANNE AGAINST THE WORLD!" the two said together striking a pose.

They both broke out into a fit of laughter as they started their trek back to Lily Paddington to tell the townsfolk the good news. Once they got back and told the news, everyone was overjoyed.

"Thank ye! Thank ye! Praise be to the blue guardian deity!" the mayor said as every frog practically bowed down to Anne.

"Uhh... yeah, no problem dude." Anne said a little creeped out at their behavior. "So how do we get back to Wartwood?"

"Just go directly southeast from here, you can have my compass." The mayor said handing over his compass. "But why don't you stay we just began construction on your church to worship you, a creature with unknown powers, our new god. We will do whatever you need of us all you have to do is ask." All the frogs of the village fell down to their knees in worship of Anne.

Both Anne and Sprig started to slowly back away with Anne slowly activating her powers. The frog of this town were crazy treating her like a god when she had only helped them once. They needed to get out of this place.

"Sprig… hop on." Anne whispered to Sprig who didn't need to be told twice quickly jumping on her shoulders as she started to fly away.

The shouting of the townspeople begging for her to come back slowly faded away as Anne flew away in the direction of Wartwood.

Landing back at the planter farm, they made their way back inside with some difficulty as Anne was exhausted.

"So what did you two end up doing today?" Hop Pop asked from the kitchen. He had been making dinner when he heard the two come in.

"FLYING WAS AWESOME! We also went to Lily Paddington and fought some centipedes!" Sprig said happily.

"I think I might have accidentally started a cult." Anne said.

"oh…" Hop Pop looked at them clearly shocked at what they had done. "Good… job."

Unbeknownst to both Anne and Sprig, a small robot dragonfly had watched and followed them all way back to Wartwood. After learning that the Calamity Power user was living in Wartwood it made its way back to the castle. After a day of travel, the robot got back to the castle and informed Andrias of its discovery.

"So, it's Anne Boonchuy, we must not tell Marcy we found one of her friends. If Marcy learns of the power that resides in her our plan will fail. That girl, she already has good control of her Calamity Powers, we must eliminate her. Send out fifteen frobots to Wartwood, destroy the town if you have to, eliminate the human girl."
