The towers dissolved into the flooring, Aizawa physically sighed seeing you standing. Your arm still rested in its sling; the rifle slung over your shoulder by its strap. By your feet were the unconscious Class B students.

"Wha-!?" Vlad King and the other teachers remained stunned as you stepped off the cement before it was finished mixing into the floor. You lazily walked over to the teachers; your stomach gurgled in hunger. "-what happened!?" Vlad Kind ran over to his students.

"Are you ok?" Aizawa watched you hand off your weapons to Cementoss.

"Yeah." You replied looking over at him. "Why do you ask?"

"Why do we ask!?" Midnight's voice felt like a sharp blade running across your eardrum as you removed the last earplug. "You-" She gestured to the students; "-you aren't supposed to be in any kind of combat right now!"

"Well-" You chuckled, looking over your shoulder at the kids. "-I wouldn't have called that real combat-"

"What did you do to them!?" Vlad pops his head up from shaking Jurota.

"Ah-" You run your tongue along the side of your teeth. "-nothing, probably just a concussion or two-" You muttered the last piece.

"What!?" Vlad King's head snapped sideways so fast he felt something in his neck pop.

"Nothing." You shook your head with a lazy shrug.

"What are you gonna do now Five?" Sen held a devilish grin, cracking his fingers.

"You tell me Thumbelina." You retorted wiping the cocky expression from Sen's face.

"Stupid bitch-!" He growled lunging forward. You braced yourself, the second he stepped into arms reach you grabbed the side of his jacket. "-wha-!?" He breathed as you spun him around forcing him to face the ledge, you then placed your hand on the back of his head slamming it down onto the ledge, blood dribbled from his nose and mouth, staining the white material.

You allowed him to fall sideways, turning your attention to Jurota.

"Are you next Jack Skellington?" You cocked your head to the side, watching him turn to Monoma.

"(y/n)?"

"Hm?" You hummed, turning in the direction of your name. GunHead awkwardly waved as he stood off on the sidelines. You furrowed your brows, glancing at Aizawa before spinning on your heel leaving the Class B students for the teachers to deal with.

"Back so soon?" You commented once you reached GunHead's side. "I know I'm entertaining but this is a new record-"

"Five-" GunHead's bleak voice caused you to drop the sarcasm.

"GunHead is back?" Midnight muttered, stepping next to Aizawa after overseeing the unconscious students.

"It seems so." Aizawa murmured, eyes narrowing on the weapon resting inside a familiar holster being removed from GunHead's bag.

"I wonder what that's about." Midnight hummed, watching GunHead handing you your confiscated weapon.

"Let's find out." Aizawa sharply replied, starting his way over to join you.

"-stay armed and keep your guard up-" GunHead's warning didn't go unnoticed as he and you dropped the conversation seeing the two teachers making their way over.

"GunHead-" Aizawa looked from GunHead then to you. "-your back so soon."

"Yeah-" GunHead nervously chuckled, "-I uh...forgot something, Five was just helping me out."

"Oh really?" Aizawa turned studying you.

"Yep." You shrugged. "If his quirk wasn't attached to him, he would lose it."

"I definitely would-!" GunHead laughs, "-but I gotta get going on, it was nice seeing you two and Five-" Gunhead locks eyes with you, "-I'll see you around."

You nod as a response, watching him high tail it out of the gym leaving you with the suspicious teachers to deal with alone.

"You need something?" You asked Aizawa while cramming your hand into your jacket pocket. Aizawa's eyes flickered down to the weapon strapped to your thigh. "The exercise is over, Class A won. I guess there's extra time until the next class so they can take a break or-" You looked past Aizawa's shoulder to the dozen kids still passed out on the floor being collected. "-maybe take a trip over to Recovery Girl."

You moved to walk away, pulling your eyes from the floor, you saw Bakugo, Midoriya Todoroki and Kirishima all hesitating in exiting the gym. You licked your lips starting your way in their direction Bakugo and the others perked up seeing this.

"(y/n)-" Aizawa's voice stopped you after only a few steps. You watched him raise his phone; "-the tech crew is here."

"And?" You tilted your head, not following.

"They are here to attach your new ankle monitor." Aizawa answered, "They said they will place it on your right leg since your left is-"

"Oh, how kind of them." You sourly reply, Aizawa exhaled spotting the disdain in your eyes behind the mask you wore so well.

"They are waiting in the dorms for us."

"Right-" You roll your eyes, "-gotta get the killer on its leash." You spit through your teeth, spinning on your heel, feeling like you had just been slapped in the face.

Class C3-A dragged their sore bodies to their dorms barely getting through their last class of the day after your exercise.

"I hurt in places I didn't know I could even hurt." Toru groans, rubbing her sleepy eyes waiting for Momo to unlock the front door.

"That was a fun exercise-" Sero yawns, "-but man am I tired."

"Yeah." Ochaco nods, "My shoulder hurts from shooting practice." She adds, rubbing her tense muscles. Momo frowns as her key was in the lock, she realizes the door isn't locked. She turns about to question her classmates when just then the front door opens.

"Mr. Aizawa?" Mina furrows her brows spotting their homeroom teacher gazing down at his class.

"Leave her alone." Aizawa orders, walking past the class, leaving the popular students feeling confused until they piled into the dorm.

"Oh-!" Mina gasps, you lay on one of the couches, head facing away from them. "-she's asleep?"

"Everyone be quiet-!" Momo whispers.

"Why are we being quiet!?" Mineta tumult voice stabs at the silence, everyone whips around seeing you were unmoving, they sighed in relief.

"Shut up!" Sero wraps the stout man in his tape leaving him and his muffled cries in the walkway.

"I wonder how long she has been out?" Mina whispers, eyes flickering to Bakugo who sets his bag down eyes never removing themselves from you.

"Look-" Sato points, "-they placed a new monitor on her."

"That sucks-" Jiro crosses her arms. "-I can't believe they are keeping that thing on her."

"Yeah-" Mina nods, "-especially after the attack on the hotel, I mean didn't that prove her innocence?"

"I guess it wasn't enough." Midoriya mutters.

"What would be enough!?" Mina lets out a flustered breath.

"Hey-" Toru touches her shoulder. "-there's nothing we can do about this. Let's just be happy that she is here and not at some hotel or worse in a jail cell."

"You're right." Mina nods.

"I'm surprised she hasn't woken yet." Fumikage comments, recalling how Bakugo simply brushed your arm, snapping you awake.

"Hey guys-" Kaminari calls, standing beside the island in their kitchen. "-yeah, I don't think she's going to be waking up anytime soon." He turns to the class, rattling three orange pill bottles.

"Can I see those?" Midoriya asks, holding out his hand.

"What are they?" Ochaco wonders.

"Medication." Midoriya answers, brows pulled together as he reads the bottles. "Two pain killers and an antibiotic."

"Why did they give those to her?" Jiro wonders, looking back at you.

"That's a stupid question." Bakugo retorts as he removes his jacket.

"Why is that stupid!?" Jiro huffs at his abrasive words.

"She had her leg crushed-" Bakugo turns, "-and a hole put in her shoulder and who knows what else, of course they are gonna drug her up."

"Yeah-" Mina nods, "-makes sense, I'm just surprised she took them."

"Aizawa probably bribed her." Bakugo responded.

"Why do you say that?" Mina tilts her head, watching the blond pick up a takeout box off the coffee table. "Oh." Mina nods, "Yeah he bribed her with food."

"Somethings never change." Bakugo smirks, gazing softly at your sleeping form.

"Hey-!" Mina lightly claps her hands, "-let's all change, order some pizza and watch movies. I'm sure we are all too sore to do anything else anyway."

"Speak for yourself." Bakugo snaps, "But yeah, let's do that."

The group of inspiring heroes quickly made their way to their dorm rooms to have a quick change and shower as Mina ordered pizza for everyone. The lights were turned down low as the class settled around the living area as the newest thriller movie was playing.

Bakugo looked to his side, having taken a seat on the free cushion above your head while Kirishima sat beside your feet. Bakugo wanted to reach over and feel your hair run through his fingers, but he didn't dare, he wasn't sure what would wake you. Mina plopped on the floor beside you with a smile on her face she looked over, feeling close to you for the first time since you were revealed on a smoking battleground.

The television was low, the lights were off as everyone munched on butter popcorn, eyes glued to the screen luminating the room. As the movie began to wrap, the sweet silence was shattered by a loud repetitive beeping.

"What the hell is that!?" Kaminari jumped, popcorn flying up his shirt as he spun around, heart in his throat.

"Whose phone is that!?" Momo harshly whispered.

"Turn it off!" The group scrambled to find the source of the noise.

Everyone stared with wide eyes as you stirred.

You reached to your leg, the buzzing vibrating against your leg as you pulled your phone from your cargo pants, you stiffly sat up as your blood felt like sand slugging around your veins.

No one from Class C3-A dared speak, a hand found your throbbing head you answered the phone, pulling it to your ear.

"Five-!" The ruffled voice on the other end of the phone called, "-where the hell are you-!?" These words caused Bakugo to tense.

"What?" Your tired brain wouldn't kick start itself, you didn't register the group sitting around you as you ran your fingers through your unbraided hair.

"-you should have been here to replace us two hours ago!"

"-the fuck are you talking about?" You rubbed the side of your face; the medical mask agitated your skin.

"Hello-!?" The voice yelled, "-earth to Five, the stake out! You were supposed to be here two hours ago to replace us!"

"Yeah no-" You groaned, feeling your body ache, "-I'm grounded, I can't replace you."

"What the hell you mean your grounded!?" Another voice joined in through the phone. "There isn't another hero to replace us, we have been stuck in this van for twelve hours! If you don't get your ass here, we will be here until tomorrow night-!"

"I don't know what to tell you, my status is grounded." You understood what they were saying, but there was nothing you could do. Even if you did want to get up and get stuck in a cramped van for ten hours, you now had this monitor on you which would go off should you step foot outside U.A. grounds without permission. "Call the HPSC."

"No one is there this late-!" The voices went to argue as if that could change this outcome. "-we can't leave until-!"

"I don't give a fuck." Your voice was hoarse as you hung up the phone, letting it fall from your hand onto the couch. As you stood your brain didn't register the fact you couldn't feel your own hand or your leg, or any part of you for that matter. You trudged your way to the kitchen, in search of water to dull the burn in your throat.

No one from Class C3-A moved, they looked at one another, each having no idea what to say as you walked from their sight into the kitchen. The movie paused the moment you answered the phone, in the dead silence they heard the sink turn on and off. Mina urged with her eyes for Bakugo to say something, anything as you walked back into the living area. Your hand adjusting your mask.

"Hey (y/n)-" Mina glared at Bakugo who froze under your deadpan gaze. "-we are about to start another movie, if you wanna...join..." Mina's eyes were perfectly round, unable to hide her tense emotions as the class all stared. Your eyes trailed off to the side, seeing the wiggling cocoon of tape where Mineta was left.

Puzzle flashed through your mind, her clones laughing at you in their voices filled your ears. You hadn't had the time to stop and absorb the fact your siblings were alive; let alone the fact she played you for a fool and helpped Shooter.

Slowly you turned back to the class, your muscles felt loose, you sucked in a deep breath. Unable to find words, you just made your way back to the couch and sat down to your classmates shock.

Sero grabbed the remote, playing the next movie on the list everyone voted on for the night.

"(y/n)-" Tsuyu turned your head, "-would...would you like me to braid your hair?"

The class looked from her then to you, that's when they noticed it was still damp from your shower.

"It can't be easy to do with one arm..." Tsuyu quickly added, your eyes flickered to the floor then to her.

"Yeah-" Your voice stunned her; she half expected you to say nothing and walk away. Tsuyu scrambled to her feet, taking a seat in between you and Bakugo, you turned allowing her to run her fingers through your hair to comb it out. "-thanks."

"Of course." Tsuyu grinned, her heart beating against her rib cage she looked to Mina, feeling as if they won a little tonight, this was progress! Tsuyu used the hair tie from her own hair to tie off the end of your braid before getting up.

"Here (y/n)." Sato held out a blanket, you looked up at the nervous sugar hero.

"Thanks." You say, taking it from him. Sato blushed, hopping back to his seat as the film began.

As the scary movie continued, causing the girls and a few guys to jump at the loud music You had fallen back asleep, unable to hold onto consciousness any longer due to the medicine Aizawa bribed you to take.

Bakugo's crimson eyes snapped away from the screen to you, who slowly was falling backwards. He furrowed his brows, leaning forward he noticed how your eyes were closed. A smile spread across his face, realizing you were asleep. He reached to his side, grabbing the throw pillow putting it on his leg as you sluggardly slumped against it.

Bakugo didn't return to watching the movie after this, his eyes gently remained fixated on your sleeping face. The urge to remove this damn mask tugged against him, but he didn't move a muscle, worried you would stir awake, he fell asleep with his head leaned against the couch's backrest.

"Do it-!" Jiro whispered, pushing Kaminari's arm.

"No-" He shoved back, "-you do it!"

"No way-" Jiro shook her head, looking over at your sleeping form still lingering on the couch. "-you saw how fast she almost broke Bakugo's arm; I'm not waking her up."

"Well, I'm not doing it!"

"What are you extras doing?" Bakugo demanded, spotting the group of his peers circled around you.

"Someone needs to wake (y/n) up." Momo pointed, "We have to leave for class soon."

"She isn't going to wake up." Bakugo replied, having had to shimmy out from under you this morning, if that didn't wake you up, nothing would.

"How do you know?" Kaminari smugly put his hands on his hips.

"She is drugged up." Bakugo pushed him away, throwing his bag over his shoulder. "Nothing is waking her up right now."

"Bakugo is right." Mina yawned, hating mornings. "We should just leave her here and let her sleep."

"But-" Midoriya frowns, "-she is officially apart of our class, shouldn't we wake her for school?"

"Normally yeah-" Kirishima scratched his head, "-but she is like...recovering so leaving her alone is the best thing to do...right?"

"What would Mr. Aizawa say?" Ojiro wonders.

"We tried calling him." Momo crossed her arms. "He didn't answer."

"He did say to leave her alone." Midoriya pondered. "So..."

"Mm-!" Toru twists, "-but I don't wanna go to class without her!"

"None of us do." Midoriya sighs, "But for today I think we have to."

"This sucks!" Toru whines.

"Yeah." Kirishima nods, "But-!" He brightens as an idea pops in his head, "-if she spends the day resting, that will mean she will be up tonight when we are home from class!"

"That's true!" Toru hops, "Alright, we are gonna leave her here so she can sleep!"

"It's a plan-!" Mina joins in, "-when we get back, we can have a game night with (y/n)!"

"A game night?" Todoroki raises an eyebrow, "You think (y/n) will be up for that?"

"She watched as movie with us last night."

"She technically slept through it." Midoriya mutters.

"Stop raining on my parade!" Mina lectures as the class files out of the dormitory. Bakugo glances over his shoulder, you hadn't moved from when he placed you on his pillow and covered you with his favorite blanket.

It was past noon when you opened your eyes, the sun settled itself high in the sky when you pulled yourself off the couch, feeling the full effect of your body you let out a gasp, falling against the couch. The needle like pain shot through your leg into your lower back. Your shoulder felt like the muscle was pulled out, made to play jump rope and haphazardly wrapped back around your bones.

"What the fuck...?" You breathed, shaking your head at the state of your body as you took in the empty space around you.

The mask against your face itched your skin, making your way to the bathroom; the only place you were allowed to remove it.

Ripping the mask down to your neck you sucked in a deep breath as you leaned against the cool sink. You listened to the silence for a while before turning the cold water on to wash your face. Stiffly you raised your head staring at the reflection mocking you back.

You furrowed your brows at the face you couldn't recognize from years of hiding it from even yourself.

As you slid the mask back on you wondered if others felt just as disgusted when they looked at your masked appearance, as you did.

Walking out of the bathroom, your fingers dipped into your pocket, gripping the neatly folded paper Chief Tsuragamae had given you.

You mindlessly shoveled into the living area dialing the number on your phone you looked up, staring out the double door into the courtyard.

"Hello?"

"Shiro...are you still tagged?" You asked.

"(y/n)?" Shiro sat up from leaning back in his chair, having been staring boredly at the computer in the bedroom of his brother's house. "Yeah, they still got me under the microscope."

"Do you think you can get out of it?"

"Probably-" Shiro replied with a shrug. "-what's the occasion?"

"They won't let us in on the hunt for Shooter."

"Yeah-" Shiro's lips twisted into a smirk. "-but you figured they would do that, I'm assuming your more than just tagged for you to be calling me?"

"They got me on a leash." You stared mindlessly out the window, knowing if you slipped away half of this damn school would be searching you out.

You wouldn't get very far.

"You want to find Shooter before the police do?"

"You don't?" You scrunched your face.

"What are we going to do when we find him first?"

"I'm gonna choke him with the quirk he loved so much."

"Mm-" Shiro grins, "-kinky, I like it...count me in."

"Hey-" Shiro adjusts himself in the chair, "-before you go-" He quickly calls out as you go to hang up the phone. "-can we talk?"

"Talk?" You frown, "We don't talk."

"I-I know but after being at my brothers again...it got me thinking-"

"You thinking-" You cut in, "-now that's dangerous."

"Ha-Ha-" Shiro replies, "-but in all seriousness (y/n), I want to move closer, I miss you and-"

"What?" You scoff. "You don't miss me-"

"I do-"

"No." You shake your head, "You don't get to miss me now-"

"(y/n), I have said I'm sorry a million times about-"

"When you left me alone-" You gazed into the past, "-with a bunch of strangers...that was the hardest pill I ever had to swallow."

"What-?"

"To realize that I mean nothing to the people who meant the fucking world to me-"

"(y/n) please-"

"When U.A. turned their backs on me...I could only take the blow because you already taught me how to."

"I am sorry for-"

"No-" You shake your head, fighting the pricks behind your eyes, "-because standing beside you had me feeling so alone, so empty...because nothing hurt as much as it did when I had to learn to let you go and watch you become as stranger-" Your voice cracked, "-you were my best friend...you were my brother and you left me."

"I'm sorry-" Shiro's voice croaked through the phone, he sniffed as he wiped the tears flowing down his face. "-I-I was scared (y/n), I was tired and when I saw my brother, I just wanted to forget everything that had happened with Shadow Jack. I should never have left you like it did, and I have tried to make up for it all these years while under Shooter. You are my little sister and I let you down."

You sucked in a deep breath as you stared at the floor.

"But you got in that car-" Shiro sniffed, "-you saved Gray and I. You stepped in front of Necro and took a bullet for me. I know you still fucking care and you can't play off that you don't-!"

"Of course, I still fucking care about you idiot-" A small smile fills your face. "-you're the only family I got."

"Yeah-" Shiro smiles, "-I am, I can't imagine my life without you, you little shit."

You laugh, still staring at the floor.

"I'll get on Shooter-" Shiro says, "-but until I can move there, if you need me just call. I don't care the time; it doesn't matter how big or small the issue is...I will be there."

"I know-" You nod, "-same goes for you."

"I know." Shiro clears his throat, "Enough of this gross emotional shit. You should get some more rest-" Shiro smiles as he fiddles with his pen, "-and eat, text me when you get up."

"Alright." You nod, licking your lips as the call ends.
