Miitopian Civil War
Chapter 10: Swarm of the Dead
Date: March 7th, 2023
We may have destroyed Nazi forces yesterday but they still somehow have so many troops despite the number killed numbering over 100,000 at this point. Every single day, more miis and monsters join the movement to crush the Freedom Front. We are even getting more centrists even to fight with us. Centrists may often be careless fools with huge amounts of apathy but many of them can't ignore what's going on anymore. As it turns out, many leftist ideals are ideals that are rooted in what we'd call on Earth: being decent human beings. Today, we are planning on liberating Nimbus at last. Members of the Miitopian scientist guild have been asking when we would finally go for that. The answer is today. In yesterday's battle, we killed a lot of troops who were from and roaming around Nimbus. Some of them were guards for the high tech nation on a series of clouds. The monsters from Nimbus generally hate all miis and other monsters due to being mechanical killing machines so we have to watch out for them too. Especially the Ancient Robots. If they put a target on you, you'll be blasted by a big energy blast that will hurt a lot and deal lots of damage. The Roboputers are also dangerous. They can hit up to at least 4 targets at once and deal serious damage. Not enough to kill but it hurts. Nimbus is a largely indoor place. We eat breakfast and get ready to teleport to New Lumos once we start the signal from the rebels there. Originally, the residents of New Lumos were very complacent due to the Nazis using intellectual style rhetoric(like transphobes JK Rowling and Matt Walsh in our world) to fool them. However, when the scientist guild went public and Dominic joined it, things began to change. Combine that with our stealthily placed peaceful revolution style posters and stuff, you get the recipe for rebellion. The number of residents there that have gone missing has also pushed some miis to side with our cause. Resistance there has been quietly building for a while.
Only a few uprisings have happened there. And after they were over, the rebels pretended to disband and so forth to trick the Nazis. We are under the impression that such tactics will never work again at the moment. But if things go well enough today, that won't be an issue. However, the Nazis still control areas where the majority of the population in Miitopia are located, largely due to New Lumos. As one would expect, we fight every day all over Miitopia to stop the Nazis. The number of us on patrol has shot up drastically but that hasn't weakened us. Now that BIM has been taken care of, there shouldn't really be anyone around to mess with what we're trying to accomplish from other worlds(besides Pmurt). Soon enough, the signal was sent to us. Basically, it was a bunch of Minecraftian fireworks of all things. We heard them even from so far away and so far underground. Barely but enough for someone to check the cameras we have throughout Miitopia. We find out through those actions that the fireworks have been set off. It's go time. 85% of the entire movement is able to go to New Lumos. The other 15% are rebels in fascist countries or are patrolling with the help of comrades from other worlds. Thanks to several things, every current member of the movement has been armed with BRAIN Blasters and armor the same quality as mine. Yesterday, many comrades helped put together more of those to make that fact while I and the other members of the new Akatsuki were fighting against BIM. Boogaloo is dead now. BIM's over. We have comrades throughout Miitopia who help teleport everyone to New Lumos. How the Nazis still haven't paid much attention to the fact that we teleport around is beyond me.
At any rate, I'm more ready to do this than ever. I have an excessive number of HP bananas and MP candies just in case things get really really really tough. It's hard to believe the source of our MP candies are 2 formerly shady merchants who left Neksdor Town and joined us. They have a place where their MP candies are made. In terms of those and HP bananas, we have the advantage. This is aided by the fact that the HP banana factory where Melvin used to work was seized by the workers awhile after Melvin returned to work there. The workers unionized, joined our cause, got armed, killed the owners of the factory, and redid the whole place from top to bottom. It doesn't produce as many as it used to but the bananas produced are much better quality. They're bigger too. That's why I have so many of both. The candies are mostly to throw to comrades who need them while the bananas will let me do more reckless and dangerous things where I compromise my very life and safety doing them. Anyway, I pull out my sword as someone yells: "Charge!" When that happened, all of us started fighting. We purposefully spread ourselves out between the 3 areas of battle: Sterile Plant, Sinister Plant, and Sinister Plant 2.0. They're where the towns of Nimbus have been built. I'm fighting in the Sterile Plant. It's mostly empty and white outside of the town inside of it which matches its color scheme. That's just how things should be naturally. This area is where blood will be completely visible. There's nowhere to hide here outside of the buildings in town but we're not fighting in town. We're fighting outside of town against an army of mechanized Nazi troops. Not just androids but cyborgs too. There's an especially high number of Nazis with the Tank and Scientist jobs here. We are completely outnumbered because they have apparently gotten the monsters of Nimbus to help fight their battles too.
A significant number of Nimbus monsters are on our side currently due to what happened in Otherworld. We had no idea there were any monsters left in Nimbus until Nimbus rebels told us about them. They number much higher than we could have ever expected. "Damn it! This is really bad! There are just so many of the, against all of us! No space for special attacks either. I might as well just let myself cut any enemy I see move as best as I can. When I get in the zone, I really do get into it. Dominic, how are you holding up?" "Just some minor scratches. No big deal. If we win here, we'll have unrestricted access to the guild I'm a member of's headquarters. Getting in and out of there has been extremely difficult during this war. Communications with them has even been difficult to get and reply to. Go wild, Adam. I will back you up. Supernova!" With that, I ignore all dialogue around me. I zero in on targeting the Nazis for attacks from now on. I'm just ready to bring them down one by one if I have to. It's also important to note that we've learned a lot from last month. Everyone's gear has been enchanted with Minecraftian exp, Midgardian materials, and more. We won't lose so easily. The enchanting process just took place last night after BIM was dealt with. Personally, my sword is now enchanted with Sharpness V, Unbreaking lll, Knockback ll, Looting lll, ATK 76, Dexterity Level 3, and DEF 64. My armor is all enchanted to same: Unbreaking lll, Protection IV, Thorns lll, DEF 69, Movement Speed 0.5%, and STR 1. In other words, enemies I hit may be knocked back, a whole portion of the damage that would be dealt to me is reflected back to them, I'm a little faster, my attack, defense, and dexterity have gone up, if I kill a monster I will get more stuff, my gear will take much longer to break, and a huge portion of damage will be nullified.
My shield has identical enhancements to my armor. Additionally, my gear has gone through Refinement in Rune-Midgarts not to mention Gear Modification and Card Insertion. Refinement has seriously powered up my gear. Gear Modification allows for a gear to have its stats changed. Card Insertion allows cards dropped from Midgardian monsters to be inserted into gears. I have 2 cards in my sword that increase its magical and physical attack stats by 50 total. Each of my armors has one card inserted. A lot of time was spent by thousands of comrades for making all this powering up possible. The armors each have their defense stats increased by 20 from the cards. Same with my shield. Months of secret work behind the scenes has made this happen. We will not lose today so easily. This literally changes everything. Most Nazi troops we fought yesterday would have died in one hit each if we had had the time to put all of this into play before then. But now that we have and I remembered that we did, I smirk: "You're so done, Nazis! With what we have, we could end this war today if there aren't stronger Nazis in your ranks than anything we have ever faced before!" There's also the fact that I'm still kind of recovering from eating so much Miitopian food that the magic inside of them has increased my attack, defense, HP, MP, and 2 other stats by 99. I'm glad that we all took sleep replacement potions instead of sleeping last night. I was on the toilet constantly on and off for 3 hours from 1 to 4 am. I also ate some 4* Steamy Crab Nipplers that basically increase my HP and MP by a lot every 10 seconds. You'd think we'd wait until we fight with the individual who collects dead villains like trading cards to use all these enhancements but that'd be wrong.
We have to give ourselves every power up we can get. The enemies are far stronger than what we faced even just 3 months ago. Hell, my gear has also gone through actual Enhancement to increase physical and magical attack stats by 60 for my sword and defense and magical defense stats for my other gear by 60 as well. Except for my bow because I didn't think I'd need it upgraded just yet. With all of this, I'm probably able to do 10 Great Infernal Tornado Slash attacks with a lot more force behind them before I die. And don't think anyone else has become insanely buffed up. We all eat 4* Steamy Crab Nipplers and drink several potions of strength or whatever else we needed to be boosted. Passing out everything was a serious chore but we did it. The Miitopian Peoples' Liberation Front is now one of the most powerful rebel groups to ever exist in all of space-time. All of our enemies go down so easily. Even the androids are easily cut into like butter by my sword. At this point, I could fight with my gear against Beerus for a while. I should also mention that the Haikai I've been using as a comparison for how strong my armor was until now is a Haikai that only hurts someone, not erase them from existence. Not something Beerus would want to use no matter how annoyed some individuals get him to be. He'd just get rid of them unless they happen to be from Earth or are living on it despite not being from Earth. It's also important to note that there are no child soldiers in New Lumos. We have made the Nazis run out of them already. But at the same time, we've had some digging go on. Thanks to our efforts, the enemies we're facing are now known to have killing, hatred, and harm as their only convictions. These people will not change no matter what happens to them. This is our cruel and cold hearted reality. That means as well that we don't have to hold back. We can't kill them without showing much mercy if any at all. In minutes, all of our enemies lay dead on the ground before us. It's a brutal scene. Not a single one of us has been harmed. There is a lot of blood.
Not even with very minor wounds that barely show when you're at a job party or something like that. We don't even need to take a moment to rest. We just stand there, triumphantly. But I'd barely call that a victory. It's like we didn't try at all. But then, the Dark Sage appears before us: "I don't know how you freaks did it but you have pushed me to the next level! Not even androids stood a chance against any of you today! You decimated them so easily! I will destroy wokeism and create the greatest empire Miitopia has ever known, even more so than the SDL's! And you will not be able to stop me because I have a surprise for all of you! Do you remember each and every one of the monsters, miis, and machines you destroyed fighting against me, my allies, and my subordinates? DO YOU?! I'm not really here! Pmurt Nedib is projecting me to all 3 battle zones in Nimbus at once! This surprise is for each and every one of you to show you just how much I hate you and want to destroy everything you have ever believed in for good! This is where wokeism goes to die! Go woke and go broke as those useful pawns say on Earth! Now die!" Countless dead and destroyed individuals rise from the dead by breaking through the ground around us. There are so many that there's literally no room to move throughout the entire Sterile Plant. There must be hundreds of thousands of.. zombies and machines repaired by being patched together that are now mechanical nightmares. The feeling in the air changes to one of pure dread. "Damn it! We'll have to completely destroy our enemies! The dead don't die again once they're dead! They can only be completely destroyed down to the molecular level! We can't hold anything back! They may not be that intelligent but it looks like they have 100% of the strength and such they all had before we killed or destroyed them in the past!"
My words set the tone straight. We have never been so outnumbered before. Ever. Yeah, killing most Nazis is easy with what's happened to my body and gear but they're all already dead so I can't kill them. Even with my sword combined with my skills, it'll take a lot to destroy just one undead android. Their cells may be dead but their muscles are moving and all they have on their minds is kill. Unless they're like most people where I live in regards to Covid. In which case, all they care about is themselves and their individual enjoyment alongside the enjoyment of only the people most important to them and probably their country as pointless as that is. They don't care about risking their lives as long as they're kept unaware that they're taking risks and it's not obvious that what they're doing is dangerous. That's why pandemic negligence is so effective. Most people think the pandemic is over. In reality, it's just getting started even 3 years after Ohio had a partial lockdown for about a month and a half. That might also be why the zombies are so intent on killing us. It's a repetitive thing. Letting zombies touch my armor while trying to cut them into pieces. I would use spells thanks to the buff of the Steamy Crab Nibblers I ate but I forgot most of the spells I used to know and my body has gotten rusty at channeling magical energy. That's why I've only casted Repair every so often up till now. My MP takes forever to fill up on its own still. As for chakra, I haven't had any time to learn how to better use it. So that's a dead end too. "Damn zombies! When you cut one, another comes to prevent you from cutting them more! This is really creepy! They smell and look horrible besides the clothing they're wearing if they're wearing any clothes to begin with. I feel like some sort of teleportation spell was used to transport all of the dead bodies we hid away by turning them into cards here. We can only imagine how much magic was used to reanimate all of these enemies!"
"Damn it! Even if I use grenades, these zombies won't stay down!" "I can't rip apart more than one of these zombies every few minutes even with the Steamed Crab Nippers helping me out a lot! This is such a nap causation!" Hack, slash, block, hack, slash. It's just constantly repetitive motions like this until I literally jump into the air and land on top of some zombies. With that done, I finally get us some room to fight. "Time to almost die! Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 10! HAAAAAAAAAAA! Take this!" My attacks affect an enormously amount of zombies, burning them and ripping off parts of them, causing the flames to deal internal damage at the same time as external damage. Im forced to eat an HP banana before I return to the ground only to look on in horror as I only brought down about 100 zombies as evidenced by the pile of bones left on the wake of my attacks. "No, no way! That must have all had their defense stats boosted immensely! Is there even a way to wipe all of these zombies out with big attacks? Damn it, I'll have to go in and slash at them with nothing held back in order to even make a tiny dent in their number!" "Swords are more effective against them than my explosives! So I better use my damn gun already as it's also more effective!" A bunch of us say in unison: "WAIT, THAT'S IT!" And then we all replace whatever weapons are in our hands with our BRAIN Blasters. We might have a chance after all. We all get ready to aim and fire. And with that, thousands of energy blasts head toward the zombies. They decimate at least 3000 of the walking dead and patch up mechanical menaces. But then, every single enemy we have managed to bring down regenerates as if we have done nothing to them since they were all summoned by the Dark Sage.. "Arr! What the hell are we supposed to do?! Even if we turn them into dust, they just come back!"
Dominic sighs: "Not all of them have come back. The robots we destroyed are scrap metal. As for the zombies, only a few are gone. The ones I have atomically ripped apart. That means that even atomic bonds are enough for the zombies to regenerate! If they were faster and smarter, I wouldn't even be able to think like this! What a nap causation! I'm becoming extremely focused! Listen, we have to destroy them to the point we break apart the atoms that make them up! Not even fire can do that! All it dies is cause chemical changes that turn the zombies into ash on the ground!" "Are you kidding me? I don't have any bomb close to one that can do that! We'd need a damn ion or anti matter bomb to destroy a lot of these enemies in an instant!" "Even the power of nature isn't enough to completely make it impossible for these zombies to come back then." "The solution must be scientific or advanced magic. Even if someone can shrink all of us, it would take us months to destroy every atomic bond inside of the dead cells of just one zombie so that's off the table! I'm getting a headache from this! How are we supposed to get rid of them for good on a massive scale? Not even I know and I've mastered manipulating reality!" "To be honest, we gotta factor in the fact that these- Get back! THESE zombies are- Stay away! ARE rotting away! If we- I said stay back! Piss off, zombies! WE survive for long enough or go forward in time enough, wouldn't they just rot away until there's not much left of them?" "That is an intriguing thought. It's true but I fear that that's simply not an option either. We can't exactly just go forward in time. Sophie should know even better than I do how long it takes for a body to finish rotting." "You are right, Bray. Myself and the Forest Spirits tribe were just discussing this! Stay back from us, zombies! Anyway, it takes a very long time for a body to decompose to the point it is no longer viable for being zombiefied."
"And that reminds me that I really need a nap. But not just that. Android zombies would take even longer to decompose. We can't just wait out something like all that. No, something else needs to be done. If we decided to wait for them to decompose, it will have already been too late for so many innocents in Miitopia. That's how we let fascism win, wait long enough to see the zombies become completely useless. Ugh! Now my headache's a migraine!" "I think I have the solution." "Arr! Do tell us all and project your voice just like we are going, Mel!" "Right, Blaster! Okay. Adam, your daggers." "What about my daggers?" "They're coated in a substance that can change organic matter into part of a blob that expands as long as there's organic matter to consume." "Damn it! I forgot about my daggers in the midst of all of this. Ha! Piss off, zombie! As I was saying.. Damn, have to speak so loud over my own sword! There's only 2 of them and the substance works slowly! It speeds up once the blob forms but it will still take so long to turn all the zombies into part of the blob. And even if that works out, we need space to get away so that way we don't become a part of it too!" "What a nap causation! Let's not forget the cleanup process and the fact there's a town swarmed by these zombies right now! And the android zombies would take a lot more to change into just more of the blob. Oh well, we have to go for this solution or else everything we worked for will become pointless. Without us, the Nazis will win and expand, growing stronger and hurting more life forms the more powerful they get. It wouldn't be long before they could conquer the stateless communes in the same Minecraftian world as Twisted Land. Thankfully, I have a gun style portable cloning machine. It's only a prototype because I haven't been able to finish it. But we need to duplicate those daggers and quickly. Can I get some space to pull this off properly?"
"Hell yeah! Adam! Put the daggers on the ground already!" "Right! *gets out the daggers carefully after temporarily putting my sword away* Here they are! *places them by Dominic* Let's do this! For the people!" "*unison* FOR THE PEOPLE!!" Herbsalvin appears above me in pegasus form: "Everyone! I have an idea to slow the zombies down more effectively than fighting them back!" Everyone except Dominic pays attention to them: "Okay, you're all listening. Great! Adam told me about something called dominoes. You place them close together before knocking one over. It knocks over the next one and so on until all the dominoes are knocked down. Why don't we just generate enough force to knock them down like you would a bunch of dominoes?" "Arr! That's a great idea but if we knock them down, they will destroy the town as they fall! But I'm up for tossing some zombies out of town!" While Dominic spends a lot of time duplicating my daggers, most of us just teleport into town once some others volunteer to stay with Dominic and clear enough space not just for him but for us to teleport into town. Or more specifically, the rooftops where there are no zombies roaming around. We then jump down from the rooftops to tiny spaces where we can fit between all of the zombies. The whole town's crawling with them! Not good! But with thousands of us, it doesn't take long for us to not only manage to throw all of the zombies out of town but also throw them as far away as possible AND throw them out from within a 100 meter radius around the town. And then, we all work together in a circle around the town to use all kinds of attacks and techniques in order to push the zombies back, beginning the intended domino effect. With all of us working together to pull this off, we are able to do so without spending much time. Strength build fighters like me make sure to push the zombies close to us as hard as possible. It hurt like hell to do that but I did it. We were successful.
The zombies really did fall like dominoes. Not in neat rows but in chaotic waves that put Fus Ro Dah to shame. In seconds, they are all on the ground struggling to get back up and many are even piled on top of each other. It will take some time for them to get back up. All of us return to where Dominic and the others are which so happened to be within the ring of space we cleared outside of the town. "Great work, everyone! I was able to glance at what you just accomplished as I worked on this stuff! I have made enough clones of the daggers for everyone! All of us needs to grab one! Adam, the originals are inside this cloning machine I made! I'll open it up before we all grab one of the duplicates! But as you get your daggers back, I'll have to talk about using those daggers safely. The substance on them must never be directly touched." "Okay, I'll go take them out." As he opens the portable cloning machine and I retrieve my daggers, the scientist speaks as loudly as possible: "Based on my observations of the zombies, we have a few minutes before the first ones to get back up get back up! This is no time for wanting a nice cozy nap! Everyone, please listen! As one of the individuals behind the substance that Adam's daggers and the clones of them are coated in, I must tell you how to handle the daggers safely! You must not let the substance on them touch your skin, eyeballs, lips, mouth, ears, nostrils, hair, fingernails, or anything else that is directly exposed at the moment! The only way to handle the substance is to wield the daggers carefully with your hands, paws, hooves, or whatever you have in that department covered up in material that isn't made from living tissue. We made sure to design the substance so that it cannot break through materials such as cotton, silk, or leather which are derived from living organisms but still go through skin with ease."
He pauses for a second because he talked a bit too fast but everyone understood what he was saying: "Again, cover whatever you will be using to use the dagger you put. It would also be wise to cover your face. We all already have armor on that covers the majority of our bodies but we still need to play it safe. Even just a little bit is enough to slowly and painfully kill you and convert what makes you, you into part of a growing blob. If you don't have anything to cover up what you'll wield a dagger with, I have hundreds of pairs of leather gloves in my ender pouch. I can hand them out and go from there." After that, everyone gets covered up and equips a dagger. Myself and other close range fighters quickly show those who aren't close range fighters how to use the daggers effectively. We need everyone we can get to make this work. And once we're done here, we need to help those at Sinister Plant and Sinister Plant 2.0 as they are dealing with the same problem as we are. If things here are any indication, they will not last for much longer against such a huge number of zombies and zombie androids. That's of course a horrifying but truthful thought sadly. That's what really sucks about all of this. Oh well. The best we can do is take care of these enemies as quickly as possible and make sure the blob doesn't reach the town, anywhere there's plant life, wherever there's roaming organic monsters, or us for that matter. We finish preparations just as the zombies start coming for us again. We all spread out and focus to stab as many zombies as many times as we can in the shortest possible amount of time. The more a organism is stabbed with something that has the dangerous substance on it, the more of it will get in and speed up the death of said organism. Luckily, my daggers were modified the same way my sword was as a last minute afterthought late last night. So all of the daggers are really damn good.
And now, I charge at a random zombie. I don't care who they are, I just care about stabbing and cutting them. The blood of the zombies has become rotten thanks to decomposition and lack of oxygen in them since their hearts no longer work. There must be countless dead cells in the also dead blood. Let's not think too much about the smell. Because I have my Akatsuki cloak and Swiftdrawer mask on, much of the smell is blocked but that's not really that important. What's important is that I'm going all in. As I expertly stab and cut into the flesh of the zombies, I yell out stuff to keep myself motivated in doing something that's so risky and repetitive. "We will stop you zombies! In life, you opposed us! In death, you oppose us again. This time, you'll be done for good! Take this!" Similar yelling reaches my ears from nearby: "Hell yeah! I can't blow you up but I didn't realize how much fun daggers are! This is almost as satisfying as blowing you bastards to bits before we realized you will just keep coming back if we don't destroy you down to the atomic level or change the form of your mass!" "This way of fighting is not our way. We fight alongside nature but in times of crisis like this one, we must go about things anyway we possibly can to get what we and nature desires! You won't put us down, zombies! This is for all the harm you've done in life or the suffering you were inflicted while you lived! If you were forced to fight us, we are setting your souls free! If you chose to hurt others, you're being punished one more time! The Dark Sage and Pmurt Nedib will have to watch out even more for us now!"
"Rol! You're doing great! You're almost ready to become a fully fledged Miitopian knight! Keep going." "Arr! I'm at home fighting like this! My muscles feel awesome and so loose and energized!" "I must comment that this is far from the fighting I'm used to. However, I shall continue fighting this week because I must. We will win here and bring our method of defeating the zombies right to the others who are fighting!" "This is just as fun as using my hair to light enemies on fire! Or juggling hot foods and throwing them at our foes!" "Hehehe! This is truly a fun way of causing chaos! I'm Pickle Rick, Not An Alien!" After about 15 minutes of constantly attacking the zombies and keeping them away from town, we all stop after Mel exclaims loudly that we've been probably enough damage now. She was right. Many zombies were already turned into parts of the blob. And the blob is growing at an accelerating rate. A rate so high because we all attacked countless zombies with the daggers. Instead of having everyone stick around to watch as the blob finishes forming, most everyone is requested to help at Sinister Plant and Sinister Plant 2.0. I was one of the ones who stayed behind in Sterile Plant just in case something went wrong. After the minecart and cookie situations not even a week ago, I'm well aware that anything weird can happen at any time. I wasn't there for the cookie situation but I know what happened. I watch with a lot of the strongest Miitopian Peoples' Liberation Front members along with some of the best from Minecraftia, Kohnanix, and Tomapie as the blob continues to grow through the zombies and zombie androids turning into part of it. Things are going smoothly. However, something really bad happens once all of the undead are gone, replaced by the material mess that is the blob.
Mel picks up on it first: "Watch out! The necromancy style magic used to make the dead walk again hasn't left the area even though the zombies that it gave movement to are all gone! Instead, I sense that it's all inside the blob!" "Damn it! As a gunslinger and explosives user, I was trained in detecting hostile life forms even if they were hidden. The blob is a hostile life form now!" And so it was, our solution became our new most pressing problem. I put away my daggers and pull out my BRAIN Blaster: "Is the regenerative part of the undead stuff present inside of the blob?" "I shall sense for myself. No. That was a different kind of magic and it's no longer present around here." "That's the opposite of a nap causation! This is great! Get ready because that means we can disintegrate this blob! They may be a mass of organic matter and the substance but that doesn't make them unbeatable! We can disintegrate them without breaking their atomic bonds! When something is disintegrated, it's no longer organic matter even if it was before!" The Blob speaks up at us as yellow eyes form in the sticky looking gray material with hints of yellow and blue mixed in: "I eat all life! Me hungry for food and destruction! You created me but I eat you! I serve Dark Sage!" "Damn it! We should have been more careful about the magic inside the zombies!" Everyone else pulls out their BRAIN Blasters and we begin firing at once. But The Blob is still coming right for us even though we're getting a lot of material to become useless to them. That material isn't nearly enough to beat The Blob. Naturally, I decide to charge in and play the bait so the others can focus more on firing than dodging. Among BRAINS members, I rank pretty high in the dexterity department.
"Adam! Are you damn sure about this?" "Yes, I am Barla! I won't let The Blob stop y'all from being able to fire accurately! We will defeat them even if it means I die by being eaten and digested by them! But I won't be eaten so easily! Not when I have so much I can still do!" I run in all kinds of directions while firing my blaster sparingly. I won't allow our foe to kill a single one of my comrades. We are going to win and when we do, we will backup the others if they need it and free Nimbus from Nazi control. Of course, if we can find the Nimbus government, we can make it collapse and kill the miis who are part of it and responsible for the pain and suffering experienced by the miis and monsters of Nimbus. We've gotten word that some seriously horrific things have happened to some political opponents of the Nazis here. This is the time to help confront and beat it back. "Stay still, human who doesn't belong in this world! Let me eat you so I can win!l "Not a chance, Blob! We may have created you but you want to eat us so we must kill you without any mercy! I wish we didn't have to. As dangerous as you are, you are a fascinating creature who I would enjoy being friends with." "You would be friends with me?" "That's right." "Something change in me. What happening? I no want to eat any you. I want fight alongside you." The Blob stops chasing after me. Their menacing eyes become kawaii and they show their first facial expression, one of relaxation and happiness. "Arr! We can't just kill The Blob now!" "What a nap causation but not enough to make me want one! I'm all for letting The Blob live and join our side. But can we trust them to not turn on us?" "I sense no hostile intentions coming from The Blob anymore. We can trust The Blob."
"Then Bray, we might be able to end this fight over Nimbus quickly with their help!" "I no like being called The Blob. I want new name. Call me Blobber!" None of us object to that but more than a few of us question this happening in the middle of a serious conflict. Myself included but then I point out: "This is no different than the Majin Buu crisis in Universe 7. It was still a conflict taken seriously. Does anyone know if the government is located in the city over there or not?" A scientist known as Noberten speaks up. She has silver medium length hair in a ponytail, red-violet eyes, dark skin, and a armored version of a purple lab coat with lab googles as well: "Hi there, everyone! Not all of you have actually met me. I'm the Guild Master for Miitopia's guild for scientists. I was forced to flee our headquarters about 3 months ago when the war began and had to leave someone else in charge. I have a massive bounty on my head. Our headquarters is next to the government building. That's why I fled. I'll teleport us to the government, even Blobber. Just track my coordinates when I teleport! It'll be easier that way." She teleports ahead and I teleport Blobber to where she is before I go there myself. The others still in the Sterile Plant join us shortly thereafter. We come face to face with armored guards and the entire Nimbus government. The guards are simply eaten by Blobber. A person who looks like the leader of the Nimbus government speaks up: "So you've managed to defeat our forces outside of the city and even the zombie. But even so, we will not give up to lawless wokeists like you who are destroying our very way of life and even our values!" Norberten replies: "As Guild Master of the guild next door, I have to disagree. I know just as well as you do what the values of Nimbus are and you Nazis do not embody a single one of them!" "Norberten! You traitor! I thought you and your guild would side with us, the right side! But no, you turned against us when you found out our secrets!"
"So what if I did?! I'm done with talking! Each and every one of you is from the generation who was most socialized during the last time fascism was taking over Miitopia! I know what all of you have done! And you won't get away with it!" "I should have known better than to trust a burnt skin! Look at what that has gotten us! Do you have any idea of how much damage you have done to us and our comrades in the Freedom Front? Your guild has been so resistant this entire time! Whenever we'd have our forces kill them, they'd just come back to life like they never ever died in the first place!" "I said I was done talking. It's time for you to die. There may be 100 of you but none of you will stand a chance against us! You won't change so we won't have any real mercy on you!" In under a minute, each government person is dead. The building is painted in a lot of blood now. The last person to be killed was their leader who said before he died painfully: "You win but know this! Even with us dead, our troops won't stop fighting for the cause! They will succeed where we have failed! My words will haunt you as they kill all of you! Mark my words!" But before we could acknowledge what we just did, something horrifying comes up. A urgent message for all of us. A video message. It features Dr. Bonesbane attempting to defend Greenhorne: "Everyone, listen. I don't have long to explain.. It's the Nazis. They have gone into total war. They aren't just at war with us. They're at war with innocent miis and monsters now too. We're having so much trouble holding them off. It's even worse than what you're thinking."
He clears his throat before continuing: "Most miis went missing several hours ago for reasons unknown. The Nazis destroyed so many houses as well. And now, we have information that the concentration camps are back in full force and in higher numbers than ever before. If you can spare anyone, get them to help us defend or go to the concentration camps! I'm calling for more reinforcements from elsewhere! So many miis are being killed brutally! Even if you fly high over Miitopia, you can still see all of the blood being spilt. They're committing blatant genocide on a scale even they have never done before! Hurry! I'm out of time! I need to focus! I hope this got to all of you quickly and safely! Hurry!" "Hell no! This is an emergency! I'll blow their skulls out! Those damn Nazis!" "And I will cut right through their hearts! We'll get those bastards and save as many miis as we can! We must! Someone please see if we have status updates on the other battles here in Nimbus yet!" "I don't have to check for updates. My sword tells me everything we need to know. I've been harboring a secret that as the former knight leader, I should have divulged sooner. My sword has a hidden ability and nickname. When a situation gets gruesome enough, my sword tells me what's going on all over Miitopia in an instant. It's nicknamed the Time Sword for that reason. I'm so sorry for hiding the secret! Those battles are still raging but we don't need to help those fighting in them! We must spread ourselves out to each of the death camps and also to where Nazi forces are attacking elsewhere immediately!" To be continued.
Outro: Thank you so much for reading. This story is meant to highlight just how bad things are getting in our world and what will happen as long as people don't fight back enough to cause positive change. It shows how difficult dealing with fascism is and just how many people are willing to fight for such a vile ideology. Don't ignore what's happening just to have fun. Another thing I'm showing is that killing is the only way to stop some people. There was a time where peaceful means were enough to combat fascists. But that was a very brief time before 2016 or so. The only way anyone besides white straight non trans rich Christian white men ever gained rights was through protests, riots, violence, and so on. Queer pride began as a riot. Even white women once had to protest for voting rights in the United States. If you aren't doing anything about fascism, you're letting it take over and hurt people especially those who are far more marginalized than people like me. That's all I have to say, bash the fash.
