[ Author's Notes:
I'm reiterating what I mentioned in my earlier note, but I really do want to apologize to all the people who'd bothered to review/favorite this fic before I'd deleted it. It felt necessary at that time to get through my writer's block but it really was a bit of a tasteless thing to do. So, I really do want to apologize. My bad.
With that said, this arc really took much longer than I originally anticipated. In my original plan, everything that transpired on this single day was actually meant to be just one chapter, finishing with Kokomi's confession. But then I just kept getting ideas about things that I wanted to cram in. There was also the matter that Kokomi's intervention with the first-year girls or her interaction with Saiko really wouldn't work as a plot element later on. Or in the very least, she wouldn't the same Kokomi that we all know from the show.
I also think that I spent a lot of time re-establishing her character and history, but I thought it was necessary to establish what her character was, at least from my perspective, since a lot of people seem to have differing ideas about who she is.
Teruhashi Kokomi is, for me, easily one of favorite characters of all time. For all the flaws in her personality, I don't think I would have adored her as much as I do if she didn't have them. And I've always thought her to be a character with a lot of incredible potential for character development. Whether I can actually properly execute that character development is another matter, though. All I can say is that I'll try my best.
Saiki's arc is going to come much later in the story, but I do intend to try to do my best for him as well.
This FF Project really does mean a lot to me. And I'll try my best to see it all the way through.
A big thank's to everyone who's read this far. I sincerely hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story.
Best, ]
