Continuing from before! The last chapter to conclude as it's the epilogue/aftermath of the HOLY arc, and basically the entire story. I know it seems abrupt to end after not posting for a month, but I made sure to make this a somewhat satisfying conclusion. I can still post any side stories but they won't be canon in the story (or at least a few of them), so please feel free to tell me if you're interested!
Lastly, my other story, Helltaker: H is for Hell, which is on indefinite hiatus, is going to be up for adoption for anyone to continue if they please. If you are interested in continuing the story, make sure to message me for permission and give credit when continuing the story!
Other than that, see you next time!
(Y/n) panicked at the sight of Domiel, but soon calmed down after taking a few breaths.
"You're Domiel, right?" (Y/n) asked.
"I am." Domiel responded.
"Why are you here now? Have you come to seek vengeance or something?" (Y/n) asked in a serious tone.
"No, I have realized my errors from before and I'm trying to leave your body." Domiel said.
"Then, what?" (Y/n) asked again.
"Where will you go?"
"I don't know where but I have to separate from your body in order to start." Domiel said.
"Why can't you just leave my body?" (Y/n) said.
"Although your friends managed to halt the process of turning you into an angel, we are still bonded in some sense." Domiel sighed.
"We have to perform an unbonding ritual for us to separate." Domiel said.
"Hold out your hand."
(Y/n) held out his hand and when Domiel touched it, (Y/n) felt a surge of energy leave him.
As the energy left (Y/n)'s body, a blinding light enveloped Domiel. It was a moment of intense connection and separation, as their bond slowly dissolved. Memories, emotions, and experiences that were once intertwined started to disentangle, like a delicate web being unraveled.
As the light subsided, (Y/n) found himself standing face to face with Domiel, but this time, the angelic presence was diminished. Domiel appeared more human, his ethereal aura replaced with a sense of mortality.
"I... I can't believe it worked," Domiel said, his voice tinged with a mix of relief and uncertainty. "I'm free from the bindings of your body."
(Y/n) couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions. Relief washed over him, knowing that the angel who had caused so much chaos and turmoil was finally separate from him. At the same time, he couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness. Domiel had been a part of his life, albeit an unwanted one, and their journey had left an indelible mark on both of them.
"So, what now?" (Y/n) asked, breaking the silence that hung in the air.
"I will return to Heaven," Domiel replied. "I need to face the consequences of my actions and seek redemption for the chaos I've caused."
(Y/n) nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. It was a path that Domiel had to walk alone, a path towards atonement and self-discovery.
"I hope you find the peace you're searching for," (Y/n) said sincerely.
"Thank you," Domiel replied, his voice filled with a newfound determination. "And I apologize for all the pain and suffering I've caused you and your friends."
With those words, Domiel turned away. But (Y/n) feeling a little discomfort over Domiel leaving, got off the hospital bed and grabbed his sleeve.
"Will I ever see you again?" (Y/n) said hopefully.
"Perhaps..." Domiel said.
"Someday."
"One more thing." (Y/n) said. "What about the whole thing about me becoming an angel and the star of Bethlehem stuff?"
"Since your friends stopped the transformation, the prophecy of you becoming an angel or at least a being that transcended, someone else will be destined to become the transcended one."
"Oh. When will that happen?" (Y/n) asked, feeling a little worried about how that may turn out.
"I do not know, I can only hope that the next person fairs better than you." Domiel responded.
With those final words, Domiel turned away and began to walk towards the exit. (Y/n) stood there for a moment, watching as the former angel retreated. A sense of closure washed over him, mingled with a hint of anticipation for what lay ahead.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. (Y/n) focused on rebuilding his life, piecing together the fragments of normalcy that had been shattered by the recent events.
He found solace in his newfound freedom. He pursued his passions, honing his skills and embracing the possibilities that lay before him. The scars of his past remained, but they no longer defined him. He was no longer bound by the presence of an angel within him, and the weight on his shoulders lifted.
And perhaps, in the distant future, when fate weaved once again, (Y/n) would cross paths with Domiel or encounter the one destined to become the transcended being.
But this wasn't the end.
(Y/n) was in his room back at home relaxing when a sudden knock on his door startled him.
"Anybody, home?" A certain smoker girl said from the other side of the door.
"Jesus! Come in!" (Y/n) said.
Zdrada walked in his room, dressed a bit fancy and also still in very casual clothing.
"What's up with the clothes?" (Y/n) asked.
"I believe you owe me a date." Zdrada said, smiling smugly.
"Since when?" (Y/n) said, shocked.
"Since now." Zdrada laughed.
(Y/n) couldn't help but chuckle at Zdrada's unexpected request. After all they had been through, it seemed fitting to have a moment of levity and enjoyment.
"Well, I guess I do owe you that," (Y/n) replied with a grin. "Where are we going?"
Zdrada tilted her head playfully, her eyes glimmering mischievously. "It's a surprise. Just trust me."
With a mix of curiosity and excitement, (Y/n) followed Zdrada as they left the house and embarked on their impromptu date. They walked through the bustling streets, exchanging lighthearted banter and relishing in the simple pleasure of each other's company.
As they reached their destination, (Y/n) couldn't help but be surprised. Zdrada had brought him to a small, cozy café, tucked away in a quiet corner of the town. Soft music filled the air, mingling with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and delectable pastries.
Zdrada led (Y/n) to a secluded corner table, and they settled in, their conversation flowing effortlessly. They talked about their lives, their dreams, and shared anecdotes from their past adventures. It felt like they had known each other for ages, their connection deepening with each passing moment.
Time seemed to stand still as they laughed, shared stories, and savored the simple joy of being in each other's presence. The world outside faded into the background, leaving only the warmth of their companionship.
As the evening wore on, the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a gentle, golden glow over the city. Zdrada looked at (Y/n) with a soft smile, her eyes filled with a mixture of fondness and maybe even something more.
"You know, (Y/n), when I first met you, I never expected that we would end up here," Zdrada said, her voice filled with a hint of vulnerability.
(Y/n) reached out and gently took Zdrada's hand in his. "Life has a funny way of surprising us, doesn't it?"
Zdrada nodded, her expression softening. "It does indeed. But I'm glad it led me to you."
They sat in comfortable silence, basking in the warmth of their connection. In that moment, the weight of their past struggles and the uncertainty of the future seemed distant and inconsequential. All that mattered was the here and now, the simple bliss of two souls finding solace in each other.
You might wonder what happened to the rest of the harem and the Helltaker?
For them, they went about their daily business doing the "regular" harem activities. The Helltaker continued making pancakes, Pandemonica continuing her job, Malina got drunk and played turn based strategies, Cerberus went on to be a full blown menace in the house, Lucifer stuffed her belly full of pancakes.
Justice continued being awesome and chill, Judgement made sure to keep the house safe and continue her duty as the High Prosecutor of Hell, and Azazel went deeper in her studies about demons although thankfully she won't try to take over hell as the circumstances had changed to avoid such a future, but she still turned into a fallen angel.
And with that the story closes for the Helltaker, his harem, and (Y/n).
THE END.
