"Bud, Wake up!" exclaimed Wukong.

The golden furred monkey was trying to wake up his successor because his alarm clock was going off. Wukong was about to just dump some water on him until MK started to wake up.

"Nggh...five more minutes..." MK groaned.

"I would, but in case you forgot, THERE'S A DANGEROUS ENEMY ON LOOSE!" Wukong exclaimed.

It took MK a couple of minutes to process what Wukong just said.

"OH RIGHT!" MK exclaimed.

Wukong facepalmed himself. MK got dressed and Wukong just put on his outfit from Lantern City. They walked down to Pigsy's Noodles to meet the rest of the gang. Pigsy and everyone else were there just waiting for MK, but they didn't expect to see Monkey King.

"Hey MK- WAIT MONKEY KING?! WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?!" Mei yelled, but immediately got shushed by MK.

"Good to see you too, I guess." Wukong said.

"Yeah...um, so funny story. Yesterday when I came back home he was kinda sorta waiting for me since I missed training that day. So I had to tell him why I missed training and now he wants to help!" MK explained with a nervous smile.

"Maybe it's best that monkey king helps since he probably has more experience at finding Macaque than us." Sandy replied.

Everyone just nodded in agreement and started to head to alleyways. They looked in every nook and cranny of the alleyways until Wukong decided to just use his gold vision. He noticed some of Macaque's fur stuck on the sticky stairs of the alleyway. He also noticed that the fur led to a door to an abandoned building.

"Hey guys! I found something!" Wukong exclaimed.

"What did you find?" Pigsy asked.

"I found his fur leading to an abandoned building." The great sage explained.

"You would think he would be more sneaky about it too!" Mei said.

So they entered the building and started looking in there. After a while, the gang started to hear two familiar Australien voices and a new raspy female voice. So they followed the voices and came across a room. MK opened the door to see the gold and silver demons arguing about ping pong while a scorpion demon was telling them to calm down. The scorpion demon heard the door open and brought her attention to the gang.

"Oh! More familiar faces, hello!"

Pigsy and Tang remembered this scorpion demon. It's the same one who took Tang to be her friend while Wukong had amnesia.

"Hi?" MK said with confusion, but he realized that she said 'more familiar faces" and it made him curious.

MK opened his mouth, but Wukong started speaking.

"What do you mean by 'more familiar faces'?" Wukong asked while raising an eyebrow.

"She's talking about your copycat and some kid." Yin said.

"You mean Macaque and someone else was here?" Tang asked in confusion.

"Yeah, it was some girl and I think her name might be 'Bean' or something, but that's just what I heard Macaque call her." Yin replied.

"And how do you two know her?" Wukong questioned.

"Me and Yin already met her because we were trying to take her money for a ping pong table, but...uh, Macaque kicked our asses when he saw what we were doing." Jin explained. "I think that they might still be here though."

"I see, thanks." Wukong said and then walked out of the room.

The great sage started walking very fast. Wukong was going to find Macaque and free the child from him. Why would Macaque have a child with him unless he was plotting something? That had to be the answer. MK and the gang tried catching up to the great sage, but he was determined to find Macaque.

Meanwhile with Macaque and Bei Da...

The black furred monkey felt the morning sun breaking into the room and started to wake up. He looked to see Bei Da still sleeping, but then he heard noise. It sounded as if someone was coming this way.

"Shit." He mumbled.

He started to wake up the sleeping child. They had to get out, now.

"Hey kiddo, wake up." Macaque whispered.

"Ugghh...huh, Macaque?" Bei Da groaned in a very tired voice.

"Morning Bean. We gotta go like right now." Macaque replied quickly.

"Wait what? I literally just woke up though!" Bei Da said in confusion.

"I know, but I think that some certain demons might have changed their minds about me sparing them." He explained.

"Ohh okay."

They got off of the couch and stretched a bit. Macaque got his scarf and put it around his neck like usual while Bei Da was fixing her pink headband that was crooked. While doing this Bei Da noticed Macaque's right eye. His right eye was white as snow and there was a scar overlapping it. Macaque felt her staring at him.

"Hey kiddo, has something caught your attention?" Macaque asked with nervousness.

"Oh! Uh...nothing really, just what happened to your eye?" Bei Da asked.

"My eye..? Oh! Um, I don't really like talking about it." Macaque replied.

"Oh, alright"

He really didn't like talking about his eye. It caused him to be half blind and it also left a scar, reminding him about what Wukong did to him. Wukong caused his death. Wukong made him half blind. Wukong made this scar. WUKONG FUCKING ABANDONED HIM FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Macaque just sighed and just used his shadow magic to put the glamour back on, hiding his eye and six ears once more. They left the room and they started looking for the exit. What they didn't know was that Wukong was on their trail.

"Macaque, I think I found the exit!" Bei Da exclaimed.

"Good job, now let's get out here." Macaque said.

Suddenly, the footsteps that Macaque had heard earlier were coming back. He knew that they had to be quick. So he opened the door to be greeted by the morning sun once again. They step out of the abandoned building and start walking away until they both hear something.

"MACAQUE, GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!" Wukong yelled.

Wukong was now getting closer.

"Shit. Bei Da, we have to run. NOW!" Macaque said in a panic.

"Wait! Macaque, who was that?!" Bei Da asked in confusion.

He didn't answer her question, but instead he grabbed Bei Da's hand and they started running. They ran deeper into the alleyway with Wukong on their tail. Eventually, they ended up at a dead end.

"Damnit!" Macaque said in anger.

He looked around the grim dead end and spotted a dumpster for Bei Da to hide behind.

"Quick, hide behind there!" He ordered.

Bei Da nodded quickly and hid behind the dumpster. Wukong finally caught up to Macaque while the rest of the gang was still trying to catch up to the great sage.

"Macaque." Wukong said in a pissed off tone.

"Wukong, heeey! How have you been?" Macaque said in a nervous tone.

"DON'T PULL THAT SHIT WITH ME, MACAQUE!" Wukong yelled.

"Wha...? WHAT THE HELL DID I DO TO PISS YOU OFF?!" Macaque yelled back at Wukong.

"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID! YOU STOLE FROM THE PIG CHEF!" Wukong said with anger.

"Is this what this is about? Peaches, you can't be serious about this." Macaque groaned.

"YES, THIS IS ABOUT THAT AND I KNOW ABOUT THE KID!"

Macaque felt his heart drop.

"I...How do you know about the kid?" Macaque asked in disbelief.

"The gold and silver demons told me." Wukong replied in a cold tone.

Macaque grunted. He knew that he should have knocked them out when he had the chance.

"Where's the kid?" Wukong asked.

"That's none of your business-"

"MACAQUE, WHERE'S THE KID." Wukong yelled, interrupting Macaque.

"WUKONG, CALM DOWN! YOU'RE ACTING LIKE I'M A SERIAL KILLER OR SOMETHING!" Macaque yelled again.

"Monkey king! We finally caught up to you-" MK was cut off by Wukong yelling.

"JUST TELL ME WHERE SHE IS!" Wukong yelled.

The gang was shocked at the situation and MK noticed that Wukong took some steps closer to Macaque. So he tried holding the great sage back.

"I- BUD LET GO!" Wukong ordered.

"NO! NOT UNTIL YOU CALM DOWN!" MK replied quickly.

"WHAT?! NO, LET GO MK!" Wukong yelled again.

Macaque took a couple of steps back and looked to where Bei Da was hiding. She looked scared. She had no idea what was going on and all she knew was that Wukong wanted her for some reason. A look of concern was now plastered on Macaque's face. Wukong was still yelling, but he noticed Macaque's expression.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SO CONCERNED?!" The golden furred monkey yelled.

It snapped Macaque back to reality.

"I...JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" The black furred monkey yelled back.

Wukong was able to get out MK's grasp and started to take a few steps toward Macaque. He knew what Wukong was going to do. Wukong was going to fight him and possibly kill him again. He didn't want that to happen, not a second time. He looked at Bei Da, who gave him a concerned look. He took a couple of steps toward Bei Da.

'WHAT THE HECK IS HE DOING?!' Bei Da thought to herself. 'IS HE TRYING TO GET US KILLED?!'

Macaque noticed that Wukong stopped walking towards him and now he was giving him a confused look.

"What are you doing?" Wukong asked while raising an eyebrow.

"I'm just getting something, so hold your horses." Macaque replied.

He got behind the dumpster and crouched down.

"Macaque, What are you doing?!" Bei Da angrily whispered.

"Relax kiddo, I have a plan." He whispered. "I'll just make a shadow clone with a cat, so we can escape!"

"Ohhhhh! That sounds good." Bei Da replied in a whisper.

Macaque summoned his shadow clone and made a shadow cat clone. The clone got up with the cat and started to stall.

"I think you misunderstood, I have a kitten, not a kid." The clone said.

Everyone had a confused expression.

"I'm sorry, but didn't you literally ask me how I knew that you had a KID not a CAT." Wukong asked.

Bei Da proceeded to give Macaque an annoyed face. Macaque just sheepishly smiled in response. Wukong had enough and ran towards the clone in an attempt to attack it, but the clone poofed in response. The monkey king fell to the ground.

"What the hell?" The great sage said in confusion.

"Fuck." Macaque mumbled to himself.

Macaque got in front of Bei Da to hide her from Wukong. Monkey King looked around and spotted Macaque hiding behind the dumpster.

"GET OVER HERE, MACAQUE!" Wukong yelled, now running towards Macaque.

The gang decided to run over to the monkeys. Macaque knew what he had to do, so he summoned his shadow portal in a panic and teleported him and Bei Da to his shadow dojo which was now in ruins. Wukong hit his head on the side of the dumpster.

"OW!" He yelped.

"Damnit, he escaped!" Pigsy said.

"Maybe we would have gotten him if a certain someone wasn't having a yelling competition with Macaque!" MK said, shooting a glare at Wukong.

"It's not my fault, he had it coming." Wukong muttered.

"Had it coming? THE GUY LOOKED LIKE HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT!" MK shouted at Wukong.

Everyone was taken back by this. MK never raises his voice at people, so they knew that Wukong had messed up. Wukong was also taken back by this.

"Bud, listen I-"

"Save it, Monkey King. We are going to continue looking for Macaque and you can just go back to Flower Fruit Mountain." MK said, interrupting Wukong.

MK walked away and the rest of the gang followed. Wukong was now alone in the dark and grim alleyway. He felt regret about what he did.

'Why did I do that? Why did I get so angry at him?' Wukong thought to himself. 'Maybe I shouldn't have done that...'

Wukong decided that he was going to continue looking for Macaque without the help of MK and his friends. He would start with looking for the black furred monkey at his usual places.

Meanwhile with Macaque and Bei Da...

They were at Macaque shadow dojo which was now in ruins due to LBD's ice destroying it.

"We're alive? WE'RE ALIVE!" Bei Da shouted in joy.

She thought that they were going to die due to how Wukong was acting. Macaque laughed at her response.

"Hey! What's so funny? We nearly died by that Wukong guy!" Bei Da said.

"Beans, that Wukong guy is the monkey king." Macaque responded.

"HE IS?!" she exclaimed.

"Yep."

Bei Da looked around the destroyed dojo and a look of confusion was now plastered on her face.

"Uh...Macaque, where are we?" Bei Da asked.

"We are at my dojo...well what's left of it anyway." Macaque answered.

"Hm, ok!" Bei said.

There was a moment of silence until Macaque spoke.

"Anyhow, I noticed that you don't really have any self defense skills." Macaque said.

"Where are you going with this?" Bei Da questioned.

"How would you like to learn some self defense skills? Ya'know just in case if we both have to fight someone." Macaque replied with a smile.

"Oh! That would be so cool!" Bei Da exclaimed.

"Great, we can start right away!" Macaque said.

"Wait, but what about my cat though?" She asked.

"We are going to find him, but probably not for the next couple of weeks since Wukong and his friends are basically having a witch-hunt for us." He replied.

"Oh, right." She said, looking a bit gloomy.

Macaque didn't know what to do in this situation, but he wanted to cheer her up. So he reached into his shadow and grabbed a peach...how ironic. He was hesitant about giving her the fruit, but he handed it to her.

"Hey kiddo, are you hungry?" Macaque asked.

Bei Da nodded and he gave her the peach. She thanked him and she sat down. She started eating it. He followed her lead and sat down next to her. He reached into his shadow again and got another peach. He hesitated to bite the fruit, but he eventually started eating it. They finished their fruit and started chatting about random things like thunder, their shared hatred for LBD, and cats.

"Okay kiddo, we better start on that self defense training that we talked about earlier." Macaque said, now standing up.

"Oh right! Let's get started." Bei Da replied.

So Macaque started off with the basics of fighting and it was going well so far. She was understanding the simple basics which was really good! She looked like that something was on her mind, so Macaque called for a quick break.

"Hey Macaque?" She said, looking a little bit nervous.

"Yeah Bean?" He replied back.

"How do you know the Monkey King?" Bei Da asked while tilting her head.

Macaque choked on his own spit.

"Uh...Can I ask why you're asking me this question?" Macaque said nervously.

"Well, you called him 'Peaches' and he knew your name." She answered.

"Oh...well to answer your question, me and him used to be friends." He replied. "We did everything together. We used to prank people in the celestial realm and in the mortal realm. We also used to fight demons together. He was like my best friend until.." Macaque trailed off.

"Until what?" Bei Da questioned.

"Until he left me for his other friends."
