A/N: I do not speak spanish! What spanish you read is from google translate. Which means it's also probably very incorrect.

Also, Yes, the OC is a completely seperate version of my OC from my AOT story, The Three Guardians. Sue Me.

Charlie could barely describe the feeling she was experiencing as she dragged herself into the hotel behind everyone else. This day had to have been one of the oddest days she'd ever experienced in her life. And she has lived a lot longer than anyone in the building.

First was the disastrous interview. She didn't think she'd ever experienced something so embarrassingly terrible in her life. She definitely should've listened to Vaggie when it came to the singing.

Then Angel Dust getting involved in the turf war between Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb. That definitely didn't help her credibility with the Happy Hotel.

Which then led to her fist fight with Katie Killjoy on live TV, which wasn't any better for the Hotel's reputation (Though, to be fair, it was fun getting to piss Katie Killjoy off).

Afterwards, Angel showed absolutely no regret about what He did on the way to the Hotel, angering Vaggie even more.

And while it was a small thing, it hurt a little that her mom hadn't answered her call.

But that's about it for the bad things. It was like she had hit a gutter, then a bunch of good things started happening.

First off, whether Vaggie admitted it or not, was the appearance of Alastor, the Radio Demon.

Yes, his reputation was terrifying, and not a person in hell had gone without being subjected to one of his chilling broadcasts.

He also made it crystal clear that he thought everything here was a joke, believing nothing of her plans for rehabilitation, only being here for entertainment.

But he did agree to help run the hotel, including adding some more staff, and although Nifty and Husker probably weren't ideal, five was better than two, and that's more help in ten minutes than Charlie or Vaggie had in the entirety of the Hotel's business.

Not to mention that anyone looking to harm the hotel or it's occupants would have to deal with Alastor. Which, hell, the demon's mere presence terrified most demons. Even Charlie herself would admit that his sudden appearance at her hotel had her completely and utterly terrified.

She may be the princess of Hell, but she would easily admit that she was coddled in her life, and she had little to no training in her abilities. If it came down to it, despite the power difference, she feared that Alastor would have little trouble with her. The only thing that would stop him would be the wrath he'd incur from her father if something happened.

Hell, Sir Pentious learned the hard way of gaining Alastor's ire, having had his ship and weapons reduced to nothing under Alastor's sadistic anger.

All in all, despite the source of this luck, things for the Hotel were starting to look up.

"Charlie?" The voice of Vaggie brought Charlie out of her self imposed stupor. Turning to look at her, Charlie saw the look of concern on Vaggie's face. "Is everything alright, Hun? You look kinda distracted."

Charlie nodded, smiling. "Yeah, just thinking about how things have changed so quickly. Earlier, I had almost lost hope for the hotel, and now, I really think we can do it again!" She said, smiling at her girlfriend.

Vaggie smiled at her, happy to see Charlie so upbeat again. She had thought for sure Charlie had been shattered by today's earlier events, so to see the smile she loved so much on her girlfriend's face once more, Vaggie couldn't help but smile.

Even if she didn't trust the source of said smile.

But she refused to put a damper on Charlie's mood, so she just shrugged it off.

"Good. I'm glad you are feeling better." Vaggie said. "Now let's get to the kitchen. Alastor said he was making some food, and we haven't had anything since breakfast." Vaggie said with a smile of her own, grabbing Charlie's hand and pulling her along.

"Vaggie, do you think Alastor will really help us?" Charlie asked, causing the moth demon to stop in her tracks.

In all honesty, Vaggie thought Alastor would lead to the downfall of the Hotel. If she's being honest, even she had doubts about the idea of rehabilitating a demon (not that she'd tell Charlie that), but Charlie was right, who were they to turn away help they so desperately need, and so far, Alastor hadn't seemed to be planning anything outside of what he says.

Granted, it hasn't even been a day, so Vaggie still had very well founded doubts.

But she knew she had to give Alastor some kind of chance. Even if just for Charlie's sake.

"You know what I think of Alastor, Charlie, but I also know that you were right, we can't just turn him away. So far, he's given us more progress than I would've thought possible in a short time." Vaggie looked hesitant for a moment, but she smiled nonetheless. "I'd say our best bet is seeing what happens with time."

Charlie nodded, smiling at Vaggie. "Thanks Vaggie." She said, giving her girlfriend a kiss.

The moment was interrupted by a loud knock at the door. Both Charlie and Vaggie jumped at the sudden sound, turning to look at the door.

"I wonder who that is?" Charlie said, looking at the door in curiosity. Vaggie was a little on edge though.

Thanks to the door being made mostly of stained glass, she could see their sudden guests silhouette on through the door, but she couldn't make out much about them.

All she knew however, was that their mystery guest was MASSIVE.

Sure, Alastor and Angel were tall, but neither of them were really intimidating, appearance wise, since they were both so lanky.

But this person, whoever they were, they were built like a destroyer.

Through the silhouette, Vaggie could already tell that the person was taller than Angel, coming up above him by a good three feet if she had to guess. Their arms had spiky protrusions all around their shoulders and forearms, and something around the knuckles of their hands. If she had to guess, they were nothing but muscle.

Vaggie couldn't help but admit she was a little uncomfortable.

"Charlie, wait-"

Vaggie didn't have a chance to stop her though, because Charlie was already answering the door.

"Yes?" Charlie said as she opened the door, only to freeze up.

If she thought Alastor was intimidating, oh boy, she was downright petrified of this guy.

The demon was a man, and he wasn't any kind of demon she had seen. Like Vaggie, his appearance was mostly human, but with faded green skin.

That's where the similarities ended.

This man was nothing but muscle, his black shirt fitting snug around his chest. His hands looked big enough to wrap completely around Charlie's head.

The spiky protrusions Vaggie saw through the door were exactly that. Spikes made of, what they assumed, bone, jutting from his shoulders in all kinds of different angles. He had long spikes jutting from his elbows, as well as his knees, ripping through the black denim fabric of his jeans, and his knuckles jutted from his hands as spikes.

She could see from his relaxed hands that he also had claws instead of fingernails, but what demon didn't.

His black work boots were caked in blood, along with most of his outfit.

Unlike Vaggie's mostly unblemished skin, this guy was coated in cuts and scars, almost all of which looked fresh, even though none of them were really bleeding.

His bright blue eyes seemed to bore into her soul despite being the most normal part of him. His black hair reached his shoulders, and seemed to run wild.

His mouth was pulled back into a small smile, showing his razor sharp teeth. He also seemed to have some teeth protruding from his gums, almost like he had an extra set.

"Uh, hi." His deep voice shook her from her terrified stupor. Taking another look at him, the man didn't look any older than 18, despite his massive size, and he looked more nervous than she felt.

That didn't put her at ease much however.

"Uh hi." She said back in a small voice, repeating his own words.

The moment then devolved, tense as they both stared at each other in apprehension.

Then he looked up for a second, before deciding to end the tense silence.

"So, despite the sign up there, I'm assuming this is the Happy Hotel, right?" The man said, trying to ease the tension. This one actually succeeded.

"Yeah… why?" Charlie asked, her nervousness slowly giving way to curiosity and slight hope.

"To tell you the truth, I kind of want to see if I can get a job." That wasn't the answer she was hoping for, but it was better than anything else she expected.

"Oh, um, okay!" She said, smiling a bit as she moved out of the way. "Come on in." She said, gesturing into the building. Crouching down to fit through the doorframe, he stepped inside.

Closing the door, Charlie happily walked up to the stranger, her nervousness near gone now.

"As you probably know, I'm Charlie Magne, Princess of Hell and Heir to the throne." She said, holding out her hand in greeting, which he gladly returned.

"Nice to meet you. I'm John Gallagher." He said, giving Charlie a soft handshake, which she was grateful for, considering his hand completely consumed hers.

Charlie's eyes scrunched up in confusion at his introduction.

"That's new." She said as John let go of her hand.

"What?"

"Usually only new demons use their last name. Most only go by one name." She explained. John chuckled.

"Yeah, no. Not me. I'm proud of who I am, and I'll let anyone know it." He said. Charlie wasn't sure what to make of that, but she admired his honesty. Vaggie chose that moment to enter the conversation.

"Does that include the sins you've committed?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at the spikey demon. John lost his smile for a moment, before answering.

"There's a difference between being proud of yourself and being proud of your actions. And while there are some things I'm not proud of, it doesn't mean I regret them."

That was an unexpected bit of wisdom, causing both Charlie and Vaggie's eyes to widen.

"Well, I guess that's true." Charlie said. "I have to go grab some papers for you to fill out. I don't mind giving you a job, to tell the truth we need the help, but I would like to do this as officially as possible." Charlie said. Shocking both John and Vaggie.

"For real?" John said.

"Seriously?!" Vaggie asked in shock.

"But first, I want to ask you something." Charlie said, giving John a serious look.

"Yeah?"

"Do you believe that a demon can be redeemed?" She asked him. John looked down for a moment, his brow furrowing as he thought hard on the answer.

Then, to the surprise of both Charlie and Vaggie, he nodded.

"Yes."

Both of the girls stared at him for a few moments, causing him to look at them in confusion.

"What, did I do somethi-"

"Are you serious?" Vaggie asked, extremely skeptical of this whole situation. John nodded.

"Yeah, I completely believe it's possible." He said, nodding his head. "Though, I don't believe all demons are capable of redemption."

That got their attention. "What do you mean?" Charlie asked, eager to hear his explanation.

"You assumed that nobody cared about your redemption plan after that interview, right?" John asked.

Charlie's face flushed red in embarrassment as she nodded.

"Did you take into account that not all demons are evil, trigger happy idiots ready to kill and rape for the thrills?"

At this point Vaggie spoke up. "What makes you say that?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Look at you." He said, turning to Vaggie. "Now, correct me if I'm wrong but you were on TV encouraging her." He said, pointing over to Charlie. "So either you are pulling the wool over her eyes, or you really believe this, and I'd like to think it's the second option."

Vaggie's eyes widened at his response, really because everything he said was true.

"I've seen demons trying to make lives for themselves, knowing full well where they are. I've seen families made here, despite the difficulties. I've even witnessed kids being brought into this world by good people."

John stood to his feet as his voice grew more passionate.

"I've seen communities filled with good people just trying to make a living. Hell, I'm from a city filled with an actual society, one that actually has laws, regulations, even a police force."

With every word he spoke, both girls couldn't help but watch, listening in utter fascination as John grew more determined with his words.

"Hell isn't necessarily where bad people go, it's where people go for bad actions, regardless of there. Yes some people here are downright assholes. Just look at Katie Killjoy. I don't think anyone like her can be redeemed, and they should just stay where they are."

John turned and looked at Charlie as he sat back down, giving her a look of seriousness as he spoke.

"There are good people in hell. Some of them know what they did. Some don't. Some don't know how to make up for what they did. Some believe they are justified in what they did. But they are down here, trying to make a life, even doing the right thing, even though this is Hell. And I believe that they can be redeemed. And I believe they deserve a life of peace."

Both girls were unsure of what to make about what they had just heard. They had never met anyone who not only supported Charlie's dream, but thought it was entirely possible and wanted to help.

But both girls' thoughts took them in very different directions.

Outside of Vaggie, Charlie had never met anyone who supported her idea, let alone thought it was possible. But not only did the demon in front of her think it was possible, he wanted to help. Unlike Charlie, he had actually witnessed the good some demons can do, witnessed their potential. And while his beliefs were a bit more separated than hers, she still thought it was great that there was someone who legitimately wanted to help, rather than use the hotel as entertainment.

Vaggie, meanwhile, had very different thoughts. Based on this demon's appearance, he wasn't exactly made for kindness, and considering they were in hell, she severely doubted he was telling the truth. Alastor might've been brutally honest in his intentions, though she doubted that was all there was to it, but many demons were great at pulling lies, and Vaggie couldn't bring it in herself to trust this man at all. He just screamed trouble.

Charlie smiled, jumping to her feet and stretching a hand out to John. "While I still need to retrieve the paperwork, I can most certainly say that we're glad to have you at the Happy Hotel. Let me go get the papers and we can get you set up."

As Charlie marched up the stairs leaving Vaggie and John behind, the Salvadorian demon looked at John.

"I don't know what your game is, but if you hurt Charlie, I will end you." She told the demon, who's eyes widened in surprise.

"That seems a little hostile, don't you think?" He asked, raising a brow.

"I don't care. Charlie is my world and I will kill anyone who hurts her, no matter how difficult." Vaggie said, glaring at the man.

John was silent for a moment, before he spoke.

"You don't like me. That's fine. We can still work together assuming you aren't going to give me shit everytime I open my mouth." John said, his face blank.

Vaggie nodded. "Good, we're on the same page."

The tension was thick at that moment.

But it was broken by a loud voice calling out.

"Johnny!" The voice of Niffty cried out, before John felt a small mass around his leg. Looking down, he spotted the cyclops looking up at him. His anger faded as he recognized the girl.

"Niffty? But if you're here, that usually means-"

"Johnathan, my dear boy!" The radio static was gone for a moment as the voice of Alastor rang out through the lobby. Vaggie could only look on in confusion as Husker and Angel followed behind Alastor.

John looked at Alastor, eyes wide with a happy grin on his face.

"Al! Goddamn, how are you!" He said, marching towards him with arms wide as Nifty let go of his leg.

"Please, no-" Alastor grunted as John gave him a bear hug, happy to see the Radio Demon. "...hugs!" He grunted out. The smile on his face actually seemed less forced and malicious, and more genuine and happy.

"Where have you been, man? You ain't been back to see us in the Hell Hole for a while!"

"Ay Dios mío." Vaggie muttered to herself as she watched the scene.

"I'm afraid I've been rather busy as of late trying to find ways to entertain myself." Alastor responded as John sat him back down. "You'll be happy to know that I've only killed three people in the last six months."

John smiled even more. "Good job! You probably still maim people, but less deaths is a good thing."

John looked past Alastor where he spotted Husk. He walked past Alastor upon noticing the cat demon. "Husk! It's good to see you, man!" He said. Husker actually had a smile on his face as the demon approached.

"How've you been, kid?" Husker asked him. John laughed.

"About the same as usual, being the 'superhero' of the Hell Hole."

Meanwhile, Angel walked over to Vaggie, curious about the newcomer.

"Hey Vags, who is the hunky guy talking to Husk?" He asked, looking at John with a look of desire.

"It's a new hotel employee. His name is John. He says he's here because he actually believes in Charlie's dream." She said glaring at the man, still angry over their encounter before everyone else arrived.

Angel's eyes widened. "He actually believes that bunch of crap? Geez, and I thought Charlie was crazy." He said, rolling his eyes. Vaggie grit her teeth.

"Charlie's dream isn't nonsense. Not every demon out there is some sicko." She said, using John's earlier words, though she'd never admit it.

"Yeah, Yeah, whatever, don't get your taco in a twist." Angel said, brushing off Vaggie's words. Vaggie rolled her eyes at the old insult. "You think I could get a chance with him?"

Vaggie snorted. "Good luck."

Angel gave a condescending smile. "Thanks, Sugar tits." Vaggie watched as he marched his way towards John, and she couldn't wait to see how this played out.

"Hey, Hunky."

John turned to the owner of the voice. His eyes widened when he realized who it was.

"Hey, you're that pornstar, Angel Dust, right?" Angel stopped in his tracks at the recognition.

"So you actually know who I am?" He smirked, glancing in Vaggie's direction, causing her to roll her eyes. "At least someone does!"

"Yeah, I used to think you were a good looking chick." John said, surprising everyone there.

"Really kid? I didn't know you were gay." Husker said in surprise. John laughed.

"I'm not."

Now everyone was confused.

"But you just said-" Angel's eyes widened as he finally processed what John had said. "Aw man! You thought I was a woman?!" At that, Husker, Nifty, and even Vaggie began laughing, while Alastor simply chuckled.

"I don't roll that way man. Whatever attraction that was there went out the window when I found out you were a guy." John told him, a smile on his face as he unintentionally rubbed salt in the wound. "Sorry."

Angel could only sigh. "Dammit." He then gave John a lustful smirk. "Well, the offer for a good time is always on the table."

John rolled his eyes. "Where it shall stay for all of eternity." He remarked with a smug smirk of his own.

Angel pouted. "You're no fun."

Husker laughed. "Well kid, at least you shut him up. I wish I had that luxury." The cat remarked, not a fan of Angel's constant flirting.

"Oh don't worry Kitty Cat. I'll get you eventually." Angel said, blowing a kiss.

"So, my dear boy, what brings you to this establishment if I may ask?" Alastor asked, changing the subject from Angel's failed flirting.

"A place looking to rehabilitate demons? If it's possible, I wanna help." John said with a smile, before narrowing his eyes. "Wait a minute. What are you doing here? We may be friends, but I know you well enough to know you don't believe this hotel will work."

Alastor laughed. "Why, just looking for some entertainment! Outside of my visits to you, I've grown bored of my usual routines here in hell!"

John snorted. "Well, at least you are actually trying to help I guess." He looked at Husk. "I'm guessing you got shanghaied into this?"

Husker groaned. "Right as I was about to win a poker game too." He complained, before holding up a beer bottle. "But hey, free booze."

"So, not to ruin the reunion…" Vaggie stepped forward. "...well, actually, I don't care, but how do you know each other?"

"We used to stop at the Hell Hole all the time because Alastor thought they had the best butcher shop around!" Niffty said excitedly.

"It's still pretty good." Alastor ramarked.

"We met Johnny when showed Alastor different ways to incorporate meat into dishes!" She continued.

"More like showed him modern dishes with meat in them." John mumbled, though Alastor still heard him.

"Hey!"

"Hamburger Helper is not something I created Al!"

"You make it so good it may as well be!"

"Anyway…" Vaggie interrupted, stopping the back and forth argument.

"John was one of the few people who actually liked Alastor. They got along quickly because neither like bullies." Husker said, taking a sip of his drink. Vaggie raised an eyebrow at that.

"The infamous Radio Demon doesn't like bullies? But he's okay with murder?" She asked in a sarcastic tone.

"Oh, believe me, I'm proud to be one of the worst sinners in Hell my dear, but I'm not particularly fond of those who show no respect towards those of fairer means." Alastor said, his eyes darkening. "It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Manners are important after all."

"Right, Mister 'I have no concept of personal space.'" John remarked with an eye roll.

"You just gave me a bear hug, and you know how I feel about contact I did not initiate." Alastor retorted with a raised eyebrow. John looked about to retort, before nodding his head in agreement.

"Good point."

Footsteps from up the stairs could be heard as Charlie's voice rang out through the lobby.

"So, I got the papers Mr. Gallagher- Oh! I see you've met everyone." She said, noticing that all of the Hotel's occupants had gathered in the lobby.

"Actually, tall, dark and spiky here was already acquainted with everyone but Angel Dust." Vaggie informed Charlie as she came down the stairs. Charlie's eyes widened in surprise.

"Really?"

"Yeah." John nodded. "Met them over at the Hell Hole a few years back."

Charlie smiled. "So now we actually have a crew that can work well together."

John made a subtle glance towards Vaggie, which only the moth girl noticed. "I hope so."

"Chupapollas." Vaggie remarked under her breath.

"Anywho," John said, "is there a specific position you are setting me for? Or am I learning a little of everything?" He asked as he followed Charlie to the bar stand. They both sat down as they began to discuss John's position within the Hotel.

"I'd like you to learn a little bit of everything, but considering your size and bulk…" She looked at the frame of the stool, which had collapsed some under John's weight. "...you might be good as security."

John nodded. "I'm fine with that. If it's okay, I may have some people willing to come be a part of this hotel, try and enter your rehabilitation program."

Charlie's eyes widened and she grinned, overjoyed at the prospect.

They both had smiles on their faces as they spoke, and while everyone else left to their own devices, Vaggie couldn't help watch the exchange in apprehension.

As much as she loved Charlie…

… both girls had very different opinions on John Gallagher.

A/N: Hope you guys enjoyed this. I watched Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss recently, and I'm kinda going nuts over the fandom. I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and hopefully I can have another chapter out soon.
