I like Hiccstrid I do, but I noticed there were not many Hiccup and Heather stories, so I'm retelling the adventures with Hiccup and Heather.
Heather wasn't shown a lot or mentioned in the series or in the two or 3rd movie, and I believe she deserves some attention. also, a Heathcup or Hiccther pairing Is just as cute as Hiccstrid.
the stories are just going to be a bit different.
793 AD almost 800 years ago where Dragon-kind and Vikings interlocked, A group of middle age women and men walked with him with younger Vikings at least 20's or 25 oldest are 30 were walking through the woods, with kids holding their hands.
One of the was a woman who had Greying raven black hair and fair skin and green eyes, 60 years old was walking next to a man in front, she wore brown boots and black pants with a brown fur Skirt and a tan tunic.
"Why are we out here in the middle of a strange forest?" one of the kids asked the man in front leading.
"Yeah, we've been on a boat for 4 days, to arrive at a rundown village?" another spoke up.
"Oi have some respect" a 22-year-old cautioned he wore a brown fur cape with flat metal shoulder piece
"my old friends been telling me you and your friends Are struggling what your good at and your worth" "and we got an old band together we had a meeting and we talked, agreed they want me to tell you all a story" The lead man replied the man was 60 years old man with graying chestnut brown hair and a thick beard mixed in with gray, he had green eyes deep as a forest, he wore dark green pants, dark green tunic and leather armor with buckles over it he had tall dark brown boots to his knees and armored forearm guards, around his neck was a necklace with a short dark curved looking knife attached to a woven cord connected to a small piece of a bone tied with a woven string, he wore a black wolf fur cape Across his shoulders with metal shoulder pieces, a few scars on his face.
"My friends first wanted to bring you to a place where many stories were born" The man explained "As many Stories have been told like Phlegma the Fierce, Gothi the Mute or Hoark the Haggard, Stoick the Vast and Gobber the Belch, Val the Draconic Whisperer" The scene showed they group getting down to a plain place with a pond and a waterfall and large rocky walls and overgrown grass, there was two poles on the other side one was taller than the other and a large rock on the other with small rocks, one side had a run-down house and what looked like to be a collapsing Forge, moss and vines covered the structures.
"I'm getting too old for that" a shorter 60-year-old panted.
"This island holds many tales of extraordinary heroes, leaders, and warriors" The man continued.
"Like Great Grandfather and mother?" one of the kids asked.
"Indeed, but what we all agreed on is to tell you about a story of the most respected well-known and famous and greatest Viking hero and Legend of all" He smirked "Have you've ever heard about Riddari?" he asked.
"Oh yeah the older generation and previous generation can't shut up about it" a boy with reddish hair and green eyes "but he was gone before I was born" he added
"Mom would tell me stories when I can't sleep, a storm comes Riddari would be there watching over me in spirit keeping me safe" a girl said.
"But why are we here in this rundown dump? this is even worse than the village" another young boy asked.
"Hey! don't insult ancient ruins, they hold history for stories" the women with graying Raven black hair scolded.
"Ah It's alright" the man waved it off "Your right to you it's a rundown dump, but me and the others know better, this is where the Legend of Riddari was born and started making his own story" he said looking around with a sad smile and shook it off.
"Great Uncle said Riddari was the greatest Legend, every year of the last appearance of Riddari we would put cinnamon candles by on out porch, we would get in line as we walked and tossed food into a large Bonfire as offering" a 20-year-old smiled.
"You kids all want to great at something? do you not?" the man asked.
"Yes" the kids all replied.
"Would you believe Riddari wasn't always Great much less a legend?" the man questioned, the kids and 20's and a 30-year-old shook their heads.
"Not Every Legend is born great, some are born great (1), some achieve Greatness (2), and there are some who just needed help finding their Greatness, greatness that lies deep within (3), Riddari was the third option" The man informed
"What are these?" a 20-year-old asked picking up a pair of bowling-size rocks tied to triple woven vines.
"Those are chairs so Let's set them up" a 60-year-old woman with graying blonde hair replied, minutes later everyone sat on the rocks while the lead man and woman sat on the big rock
"As she was saying this place holds ruins of the Great Riddari, they say every Generation has an amazing golden age, the old Generation had Riddari and Raiju, this is the Tale of The Lightning Rider" he stated
"Lightning Rider, like he had powers to ride Lightning?" a kid asked.
"Nothing of the Sort" the man shook his head no "The old Generation also had Vikings and Dragons" he said.
"Dragons like The Book of Dragons?" a kid asked "also there has been stories of Dragon Riders" she said
"The very same, the reason why He was named Riddari The Lightning Rider, because his Dragon is a Skrill" The man smirked "He was the first Dragon Rider and this is how it all happened" he said.
Story Begins
It was late at night through a layer of mist torchlight was shown throughout a village by vast mountains, on a vast ocean.
"*This is Berk It's 12 days North of hopelessness and South Freezing, Located Solidity meridian of misery*" " a young male voice speaking.
"*my village and home in a way, sturdy been here for 7 Generations but the buildings are new" " "Activities, we have hunting, fishing and view of sunsets and nighttime stars*" the voice continued.
The scene showed sheep grazing until another one is snatched by a talon; the first sheep just took his spot with no care in the world what just happened.
"*The only downside is the pests, most have flies or fleas or mosquitoes he have*" A scrawny 15 year old boy with chestnut colored hair and forest green eyes wearing a grass colored long-sleeved tunic and darker green pants a brown furred vest with a brown leather belt with a gold buckle opened the door to see a dragon flying chasing animals as it breathed fire to herd them when it stopped for a minute as the beast looked at him doing a 90 degree turn flying towards him and blew a fire blast at him, a dragon version of "what are you looking at?" the teen closed the door with a slam to avoid getting charbroiled as flames washed from the doors frame.
"Dragons" The teen spoke the teen ran out seeing the front of his house on fire meeting large men and women.
"*My name's Hiccup, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the 3rd, odd name for a Viking but it's not the worse*" Hiccup narrated, Hiccup ran under a timber two Vikings were carrying knocking another in the head as they looked at him.
"What are you doing?" a Viking said.
"Get back inside!" a women spoke.
"*Most people run and scream when they see dragons but, not us we are Vikings we have stubbornness issues, some even more so*" Hiccup narrated as a Viking jumped grabbing a sheep a dragon stole, Hiccup was running past the Vikings when one got tossed by an explosion knocking Hiccup over yelling fiercely.
"Rraggh!" he yelled brandishing an axe before smiling insanely before running off "Morning" he said, Hiccup would've gotten charbroiled if it wasn't for a meaty and strong hand didn't pull him out of the way
"Hiccup!" the biggest and strongest Viking appeared Yelled out, who turns out he was the grabber "What is he doing out again?" he said to the crowd as they rolled their eyes and turned to him with a scowl "what are you doing out? get inside" he ordered.
"*Thats Stoick the Vast*" Hiccup said "*Chief of The Tribe they say when he was a baby he popped a Dragon's head clean off its shoulders" Do I believe it? * " he narrated, Stoick heaved up a cart and chucked it at a dragon carrying a sheep knocking the Dragon on the ground and letting go of the sheep "*Yes I believe it*" he narrated in awe.
Hiccup ran into the forge seeing Gobber a Viking big and good dragon fighter like Stoick with a peg leg and one missing arm waddled up, Gobber fighter trainer and blacksmith Hiccup and another father or uncle to him.
"Hello Hiccup good to see you, thought you were carried off" Gobber said with amusement as Hiccup put an apron on.
"*The large meathead with interchangeable hands is Gobber been his apprentice ever since I was little well littler*" Hiccup narrated
"What me?" Hiccup said surprised as he picked up a large changeable hammer with apparent effort on a shelf with a grunt "I'm way too muscular for their tastes what would they do with all this" Hiccup flexed a non-noticeable bicep
"They need toothpicks to pick leftovers off their teeth Don' they " Gobber smirked as the two started working.
"Har har" Hiccup laughed sarcastically but doesn't mind the playful banter.
