"I thought you'd be ready when I got here." Mina complained standing in the doorway of Ayumu's bedroom.

Ayumu was pushing hangers aside in her closet, trying to hurry. "I know, I know. I'm sorry."

She finally pulled out a jacket and slipped her arms through. Ayumu looked around frantically, until she finally found her purse and threw it over her shoulder as she and Mina headed downstairs. She shouted goodbye to her mother and locked the door behind her.

"Toru and Uraraka are already waiting for us at the mall." Mina scolded as they walked in the direction of the mall.

"I said I was sorry. I couldn't find anything to wear." Ayumu confessed. "Who's coming today? Everyone?"

Mina shrugged, "Not everyone. I know Bakugo and Todoroki said they wouldn't, but Koda never actually answered… So I'm not really sure."

It wasn't a far walk from Ayumu's house to the mall. Outside a number of their classmates were waiting. Ayumu waved as they walked up. Mina began to get excited and ran up to her classmates at the entrance.

"Oh man, I love this place!" She squealed as they entered the outdoor mall. "It's got a ton of different stores to shop at and they're all super cool and hip! The Kiyashi Ward shopping mall!"

Ayumu laughed at Mina's introduction of the mall. The group gathered near the escalators, trying to decide where to go first.

"Woah! Aren't those UA students!" Some kid shouted and pointed at their little group.

His friend seemed to notice them too, "1-A!"

"I saw them on TV! The sports festival was so good!"

Ayumu felt her face heat up.

"I can't believe they still remember that." Uraraka laughed uncomfortably.

"I guess we should probably get used to that, huh?" Ayumu questioned.

Mina waved it off, "Don't worry about all that! We're here to shop!"

"Why don't we split up and look around? We can meet here again when we're done." Kirishima suggested.

"Great idea!" Mina chimed in, ready to start shopping.

Kirishima smiled, "Perfect. Let's say we're all back around three?"

Everyone agreed and split up. Mina and Ayumu headed up the escalator. They popped into each shop one by one. Trying on random clothes, most not really practical for the summer camp they were supposed to be keeping in mind.

"I think I should get shoes. I don't really have anything for hiking in." Ayumu frowned looking down at her own worn out sneakers.

Mina's eyes lit up, "You should have said so earlier! I love looking for shoes!"

They headed over to the nearest shoe store and looked through about fifteen different hiking shoes before Ayumu practically collapsed. She pulled the shoes off her feet and tossed them back into the box.

"I wish Bakugo was here, I have no idea what I'm looking for for hiking."

Mina put back the box she had been looking at and gave Ayumu a confused look, "Why? I've seen how he dresses, he's not exactly a fashion icon."

"No, but he goes hiking a lot. I feel like he would know better what to pick."

Mina stared at her for a moment, "How do you know that?"

Ayumu shrugged, knowing where this line of questioning usually ended up, "He told me on our way home from our internships. We took the train together so we had a lot of time to kill."

Mina laughed to herself, "Interesting."

Ayumu shook her head, "What do you mean, 'interesting'?"

Mina shrugged, "I just think it's interesting that you know random little things about him."

Ayumu shook her head and pulled out her phone to check the time. They still had about an hour until they had to meet the others. She thought about texting Bakugo to ask for his opinion, but she really didn't want to hear Mina tease her about it. Plus she wasn't even sure he would reply.

"Guys," Kirishima appeared in the aisle of the shoe store looking a little frantic. "It's Midoriya. We got to go."

They didn't ask any questions. Ayumu and Mina followed Kirishima down to the front of the mall where people were being escorted out. The little group they had gone with stood around with Midoriya and Uraraka talking with police. Ayumu looked to Iida who was usually the one with the information.

"What happened?"

Iida looked from the police to Ayumu and Mina. "They're closing the mall. Shigaraki cornered Midoriya. The police are going to take him down to the station."

Ayumu looked past Iida to where Midoriya stood, "Is he okay?"

"A little shaken up, but he'll be fine."

Once things had calmed down, the group parted ways, each walking in pairs to make sure no one was alone. Mina was talking about something, but Ayumu's thoughts were far away. Just the day before Shinso had told her he had a bad feeling about the summer camp. She wondered if she should tell him about the latest incident with her class.

In the end her decision didn't matter. After saying goodbye to Mina, she headed upstairs to find Shinso laying on her bed, book in hand. He barely glanced up when she walked in. Ayumu dropped her purse onto her desk and fell into the chair beside it.

"Are you going to tell me what happened today or should I tell you what the news is saying?" Shinso asked after Ayumu hadn't said anything for a few minutes.

Ayumu shrugged, "Technically, nothing really happened." The look Shinso shot at her told her he didn't believe her at all. She sighed, "Honestly, I'm not really sure. Iida said that Shigaraki cornered Midoriya in the mall. He made some vague threats and then Uraraka showed up and he took off. The police looked around, but I guess they didn't find him."

Shinso closed the book without marking the page and sat up to face her. "I feel like trouble follows your class wherever it goes. Are you sure you have to go to the island and the summer camp with them?"

"I'm literally leaving in like two days." Ayumu blinked at him. "Yes, I have to go to the island."

"And the camp?" He pressed, "You don't have to go. You can stay here and I can help you train or something."

Ayumu leaned on the back of her chair and frowned, "From what I know there's going to be a bunch of pros there. I think we'll be safe… if the school decides to still have it."

"You think they'll cancel it?"

Ayumu's frown deepened, "Don't sound so excited." She pushed herself up and started pacing, "I just feel like the league is growing bolder. I don't think they'd try anything at the camp, but if Principal Nezu disagrees… I don't know. He could cancel it."

Shinso leaned forward on his elbows, "I hope they do. I really just don't think it's safe."

Ayumu leaned against her wall and looked him over. She wasn't sure what she believed, but she tried to smile reassuringly.

"Well, that makes one of us."
