Pooh sat in the darkness. He looked at his paws. His own question rang in his head. Can he really fix things? After everything that's happened, will anyone speak to him again? Will Honey Maple?

The Silver Entity loomed over him. "Pooh…You must go back. You're the only one who can stop him now."

"But how?!" Pooh cried out. "I don't know any spells! I only make little songs I barely remember." Pooh once again wept into his paws. He began to curl up into a ball.

The Silver Entity was touched by the little bear's plight. She gently rubbed her large snout against Pooh. She continued to rub until the bear finally stopped crying.

She removed the lights that had been using for her show. She twirled her claw around until a small orb floated in the darkness. "Pooh…Do you know what it means to have light magic?"

Pooh didn't move from his spot. He only hugged his legs tighter. "You have to say a cheery rhyme and have a pure heart…"

"No," The entity answered. "Well…yes, to a pure heart. But it's more than just that." She sighed. "I've watched you, Pooh. Christopher Robin and I both have."

At the name, Pooh moved his head. "Is…Is he with you?"

The entity shook her head. "No. He did ask me to come see you though. I was planning to the moment Nightplauge started speaking to you as Echowing."

Pooh heaved a heavy sigh. "I bet he's really mad at me."

The entity shook her head once more. "No, he's worried about you. He's seen how brave you've been ever since Madilyn and her family left. You've been keeping those memories in your heart. You've also allowed those of the Hollow Realm to enter it as well."

Pooh slowly uncurled himself. "What do you mean? What does this have to with light?" Then, something sparked into his mind. "Oh…I'm sorry. I didn't get your name."

"Cassiopeia. My name is Cassiopeia."

Pooh sat up. "Well…What does me have to do with keeping the people of the Hollow Realm in my heart?"

Cassiopeia's body began to ripple. Her eyes focused on Pooh once more. "Pooh accepting others different from you is one of the few ways to learn how to get along." A diamond soon appeared in her other paw. It glowed brightly. The stone soon unleashed a massive rainbow right before their eyes. "Pooh, what do you see?"

Pooh followed her gaze. His dark eyes took in the dancing colors. "A rainbow."

"Can you tell me where it started," Cassiopeia asked.

"Through the diamond," Pooh answered. It seemed simple enough.

Cassiopeia shook her head. "Look again."

Pooh stared at the diamond longer. He soon began to notice that there was another light at the other end. It was white and pure. The other end was a colorful rainbow. Then, he soon remembered something. Something from a long time ago.

—-(Flashback)-

The Hundred Acre Wood glistened with the afternoon sun after a long storm that had just come in. Christopher Robin and Pooh sat on a slightly damp log. Their eyes were upward to the open sky. Painted across was a beautiful rainbow. The colors glistened against the shining sun.

Christopher Robin adjusted his glasses. His white hair only reached his ears. "I love when the rainbow comes out…" He turned to his friend. "Don't you, Pooh?"

Pooh smiled. "Yes. I do love how the colors just go side by side neatly."

Christopher Robin leaned forward. His lips turned upward. His dark eyes gave the same soft glow as they always did. His hands gripped his cane tightly. The wind brushed against his white hair. Smells of spring reached his nose.

Pooh turned his attention back to Christopher Robin. "Christopher Robin? Are you ok?"

"You know…you've always been my rainbow." Christopher Robin chuckled. "All of you."

Pooh tilted his head. "I don't know what you mean. I'm a pooh bear."

Christopher Robin laughed. He laughed and laughed until he went into a coughing fit. He hit his chest a few times and pulled out a handkerchief. "That's not it. The colors represent all of you. Piglet's red because of his tender nature. Orange for Tigger and Roo because of their liveliness, Yellow for Kanga and Kessy because they've always seen the bright side of everything. Green for Rabbit because of his green thumb and generosity. Blue for Eeyore and Owl for their wisdom. Finally, purple for Lumpy since he's devoted to his friends."

Pooh stared up at Christopher. "What about me?"

Christopher Robin smiled. "You're the rainbow that holds everyone together." He used every ounce of his strength to lift Pooh onto his lap. "Your love. Your generosity. Your wisdom. Every aspect of you helps guide your friends to new things they've never imagined." He hugged him. "You even went out of your way to help me when I needed it most."

Pooh looked up at him. He smiled. He didn't completely understand, but he knew that Christopher meant well. He hugged his friend back as listened to the laughter all around him.

—-(Present)-

Pooh stood up. He touched his heart. "I'm…the rainbow…" He turned around to face Cassiopeia. "How do I get back?"

Cassiopeia began to fade. Her body began to dull. Even her own eyes began to close. "I'm sorry, Pooh…My time is about over."

Pooh stared in shock. He reached out to her. "Wait! Don't leave! I wanna make things right with everybody! I wanna help Honey Maple!"

Each word began to grow weaker as Cassiopeia had nothing left but her eyes looking at him. "Be…brave…Pooh…" She flicked something to Pooh. A small light that had several colors danced in his paws. With that, she was gone. Nothing but darkness remained.

Pooh stood where he was. He stared at it. A small rainbow pulsed in his paws. He could almost hear the laughter of years that went by. The tears that came and went like a passing storm cloud. Warm hugs and bright smiles. In a brief moment, he saw his friend. Christopher Robin being a young boy once more. Christopher Robin sitting on the rail of their favorite bridge.

Pooh sighed. He pressed his nose into the light. Tears ran down his cheeks and vanished into the darkness. A melody began to conjure in his head. After humming a few tunes, he knew what he could sing now.

"The moon rose high. The sun goes down. Shadows are all around. You've left for a new place, but I now know this is not goodbye. I'll remember our laughter. I'll remember all my life. You're not gone. You're still here. In time we'll lose the strife. Be brave. Be kind and always true. For happiness is how I'll hold on to you."

As he finished his song, the orb grew brighter. His mouth dropped in amazement as it consumed him. It didn't hurt. It just covered him like a warm blanket. Strength went into his limbs. Pooh began running faster and faster! He kept moving with only one thing in mind. His friends.

Pooh felt a stone floor underneath him. He wobbled for a bit. He couldn't explain it, but he felt a little stiff for some reason. Each movement resulted in a clunking noise. Once he regained his balance, he looked at his arms. Pooh gasped at what he saw.

He was wearing armor. Similar to the ones that knights in the fairy tales wore. It wasn't the usual gray tone. Instead, it was iridescent. It moved as if it was alive. A part of him. Pooh looked at every part of his body. He was covered head to toe in armor. A sword attached to his belt. He pulled it out to see that it had a diamond on the pommel while the handle had a dragon engraved on it.

Pooh smiled. "Time to make this right." He was about to put the sword away when he heard several groans. He flinched. His eyes finally began to take in his surroundings. He gripped the hilt tighter. His sword leveled.

The room had millions of statues surrounding the room. Shadows littered the space. The only things that could help Pooh see was his glowing armor and sword. Each of the statues had expressions of pain and horror. Beneath Pooh was splintered stones almost as if they came from an egg. The closest ones were that of Hurricane, Piglet and Wisp.

Pooh's heart sank at the sight of them. They wound up in this state because of him. He slowly walked over to Piglet. "Don't worry, Piglet. I'll find some way to set you free." He lightly touched his friend's head. As he rubbed it, the stone began to develop glowing cracks. The cracks grew brighter and brighter. Then, they feel away to reveal Piglet.

Piglet coughed for a moment. He shivered with each effort. Piglet fell to his knees. He blinked a few times. Pooh kneeling beside him. After what seemed like forever, Piglet looked up. "Pooh…Is…Is that you?"

Pooh nodded. "Welcome back, Piglet." He hugged him. "I'm so sorry this happened."

Piglet hugged him back. "It wasn't your fault. You didn't know." Once they were done hugging, Piglet immediately realized they were somewhere else. He gasped. "W-w-where are we?"

Pooh got up. "I think…we're inside the castle in the Hollow Realm…" He readied his sword.

Piglet turned his head. He covered his mouth the moment he saw Wisp. With trembling paws, he lightly touched the little Nightmare's face. The stone eyes held so much pain. Piglet's tears ran down his cheeks. He took a deep breath and faced Pooh. "Pooh bear…How were you able to get me out?"

Pooh tapped his head for a moment. Thinking of how it was done. "Well…I remember patting your head and then the stone cracked." He soon looked down at his armor. "Maybe the armor has to do with it."

Piglet pointed to Wisp. "Try it on Wisp."

Pooh approached Wisp. He placed a paw on top of her head. There was no response. He patted it again. No response. He looked at his sword and gently placed the hilt on Wisp's neck. Nothing, not even a small crack.

Piglet shivered. "Oh d-d-d-d-dear! What are we going to do, Pooh? It won't be long until that monster from the desert shows up."

Pooh looked around slowly. His eyes tried to peer in the darkness. He could make out a few statues that lined the wall, but he didn't see anything further from it. Another sound made him uneasy. He picked up his sword and aimed it at the shadows. "Maybe there was something else I did. Do you remember anything?"

Piglet rubbed his head for a moment. He shut his eyes as he tried to find an answer. He bit his lip. Piglet gasped. "I remember now. I heard you…talking to me. It was hard to make out, but I knew you were promising something to me." He smiled. "Then, I saw a light. It was so warm I swam to it and here I am!"

Pooh thought of something. "I'll put my paw on Wisp and you can talk to her."

Piglet stared up at his friend in shock. "Me?! B-but…"

"Please Piglet…" Pooh put a paw on Wisp once more. "For her?"

Piglet shifted his stare back to Wisp. The kind Nightmare that did everything she could to protect a small and frightful animal like himself. Now, she turned to stone trying to protect him. He walked toward her slowly. His arms wrapped around the cold stone.

Piglet took a deep breath. Calming all the fears in his heart before he could speak. "Wisp? Can you hear me?" He didn't hear anything. "I guess it must be hard since your ears turned to stone." He tried to laugh at his small joke.

Pooh simply continued to pat Wisp's head. He peered around the darkness to see a certain shape move by. Followed by another one. He bit back his fear. Pooh had to remain calm or Piglet wouldn't be able to focus on saving Wisp.

Piglet sighed. He stared deep into Wisp's eyes. "Wisp…You were so kind to me in the Hollow Realm. You made sure I was better. You protected me even if you nearly got kicked." He sniffed. Tears leaked out of his eyes. "I did nothing for you. And now…" He hugged Wisp. "You're like this because I wasn't brave enough for you."

Cracking noises filled the air. They started out small, but grew louder with each passing minute. Piglet and Pooh stared in shock as glowing cracks decorated Wisp's frail body. The stone fell away into splinters, revealing a tired and slightly sick Nightmare. Her fiery mane and tail flushed back to life. Pooh and Piglet supported Wisp before she could fall on her side.

Wisp let out a few coughs as dust came out of her mouth. Her soft eyes landed on Piglet. "P-Piglet…You were brave enough…Y-you stayed around…You stood up for me." Tears began to trickle out. "I couldn't have asked for a better friend."

Piglet wept as he hugged Wisp tighter. He had never been so happy. Suddenly, he heard something. He peered into the darkness. A few shapes began to appear before them. Some of them were large. Very, very large. His throat tightened. "Pooh…"

Pooh got up from his spot. He held up his sword. His eyebrows furrowed. Normally, Pooh was a bear that rarely got mad about anything. Even a sting from a bee didn't make him the least bit angry. The only time he ever was angry was when Giles Woozel tried to force Christopher Robin to do something he didn't want to do. This time, he felt truly angry at their mysterious shadow attackers.

Pooh cleared his throat. "Show yourself!" He was met with silence. "Please!"

"Woah!" Said an all too familiar voice. With paws raised and smiling at Pooh was none other than Tigger. "Take it easy Pooh boy I just came to help."

Piglet got up quickly. He spread out his arms wide in order to protect Wisp. His body was shaking. "H-h-how do we know you're the real Tigger?"

Tigger's face soured. "Oh come on! There's only one Tigger in the entire world." He jutted his thumbs at himself. "And that's me!" He soon began to hop around and sing his song. That is until a black wing covered his mouth.

"Shush!" Jinx hissed. He tried his best to fly with only one wing. "You want us to get caught?!"

Pooh sighed. "It's most definitely Tigger." He lowered his sword and began to put it back into its sheath. He smiled at him. "I'm so glad you're ok." His eyes widened in surprise at the company that was with Tigger aside from Jinx.

Eeyore and Kessy were on Tigger's left. They looked extremely ragged. As if they traveled around the world and back. Tigger's right was occupied by Jasper and no doubt Jasper's mother. Mayble was actually nestled between the Bat Queen's ears. A satchel nestled at her side.

"How did you all get here," Pooh asked.

"It's a long story," Eeyore answered. "Too bad we don't have enough time to tell it."

"Jasper was able to snatch us when he saw the black clouds," Kessy explained. "His mom found us sometime later and we went into a secret cavern."

The Bat General bowed her head. Her teardrop nose seemed to hold a scar when seen up close. Her ashy white pelt was barely seen in the dim light. "I have heard stories of a monster known as Nightplague. But…" She looked at the statues. Some of them were her fellow bats. "I never thought it was real. Let alone come to this."

Jasper gently touched his mother's wing. His eyes were also filled with sorrow. Ears lowered slightly.

Jinx landed on Pooh's shoulder. He squinted his eyes against the light. "I managed to create a cloaking spell that hid us for a while so we'd come into the castle undetected." He nearly fell off Pooh's shoulders, but Pooh caught him just in time. "However, that spell took a toll on me. It's a miracle I could fly."

Wisp got up from her spot and went over to Pooh. She tapped her nose onto her back. "I can take him, Pooh. I have enough strength now."

Pooh placed Jinx down as carefully as he could. He looked back at Tigger. There was only one thing on his mind at the moment. "Did any of you find Honey Maple?"

Eeyore shook his head. "No…Too many statues…"

Pooh tapped his head. Think. Think. Think. He shivered as he remembered Honey Maple being turned to stone. Then, he thought of something. "Maybe Nightplauge is keeping her close along with her mama and papa. They are powerful."

Mayble shook her head. "No. We saw them further down the entrance." She opened the flap to her satchel. With a grunt, she pulled out what was no doubt King Moonsoul. Her arms were ready to give as she held it up. "Decided to swipe them." She shrunk away from the stares. "Just in case." Mayble slid down the large wing to get off the Bat Queen's back. Promptly setting the statue down before them.

Pooh walked over to King Moonsoul. He bit his lip. Will he forgive me? Pooh shook himself. There's no time for this, Pooh. Honey Maple needs you. He put a paw on King Moonsoul. He took a deep breath and calmed down. "King Moonsoul? I don't know if you could hear me, but it's Pooh. We need your help. I know it's hard to believe but the Dark Dream King isn't your enemy. Nightplague is."

There was no response. No crack was found on the rocky surface. The eyes remained blank. Not the usual warmth that comforted Pooh.

Pooh bit his lip. Tears leaked out of his eyes. He tried again. His throat ached from each word he uttered. "I'm so sorry that I got us all into this mess. I just wanted the fighting to stop. I know that being nice and making friends isn't easy, but roaring and raising a claw won't solve anything."

Once again there was no response. Just silence ruling the room of statues once more. It was as if the frozen audience was disappointed at what they were seeing. Even Jasper hung down his head in sorrow.

Pooh sobbed. "I'm not asking you to forgive me! I know I don't deserve it, but right now Honey Maple is in trouble. I can't get her back on my own! Please! King Moonsoul! Come back! Help me fix things!"

Piglet walked over to his friend. "I'll help you, Pooh."

Kessy fluttered onto Pooh's shoulder. "I will too."

One by one, everyone hugged Pooh. Even when his paw was still touching King Moonsoul. Pooh sniffed. "Everyone…thank you."

"Awww…How touching…" A raspy voice said.

Everyone froze. They all looked up to see Nightplague looming over them. His eyes gleamed with pure malice. "I was wondering where the rest of you have vanished too, but now I can complete my collection of dust." He opened his mouth. A dark mist poured out of his mouth.

Pooh's heart sunk. He shut his eyes. Please work light magic. "Oh dear stone, shatter and break. Please bring back a friend and save him from my mistake."

No response was made. Not even a simple crack. Then, Wisp and Piglet repeated the words. A soft rainbow glow surrounded their bodies. Wisp's eyes grew wide. "It's working!"

Jinx gawked for a moment. Then, an idea came to him. "Quick! Everyone say those words again. With more meaning!"

The group soon repeated the words as loud as they could. "Oh dear stone, shatter and break. Please bring back a friend and save him from my mistake!" A rainbow soon exploded around them. It deflected the beam that was fired at them. The attack hit the wall, causing a few rocks to tumble down.

Pooh soon noticed cracks forming along King Moonsoul's body. Pooh slid his paws into the cracks. "King Moonsoul. We need you! Everyone needs you! Honey Maple is still alive!" He soon felt something. A heartbeat, strong and clear.

Nightplague growled. His wings flared. He let out a roar so frightening that it sounded more like a high pitched scream. Teeth shown greatly in the dark, he plunged forth.

A silver light exploded into the room. All eyes shut against it. A large shape soon emerged from the stony husk. Enormous claws hit Nightplague square in the jaw. Nightplague went flying to the east side of the room. A wall crumbled away to reveal a throne room. Standing on all fours, growling ferociously was King Moonsoul. His silver scales and white scales gleamed in the light. Blue eyes blazing with fury.

Pooh looked up. His eyes beamed. "King Moonsoul!"

King Moonsoul lowered her head. His snout almost knocking over Eeyore and Tigger. "Pooh…Thank you…" He lightly pressed his muzzle against Pooh's head. "What happened wasn't your fault. Even I had no idea what Icarus or Echowing were truly planning this whole time."

Pooh hugged King Moonsoul. Tears ran down his face. He wanted to be like this forever, but a single roar brought them both back to reality.

Tigger cringed. He put up his fists, despite how much they shake. "He's coming back! I'll make him pay for what he did to Roo!" He glared at the monster as Nightplague got up from the rubble.

King Moonsoul growled low. Smoke billowed out of his nostrils. "Pooh. Have you and your friends free the others." He turned to the Bat Queen. "General Umbrina? Will you assist me?"

General Umbrina nodded. "Yes. My child proved to me that he can take care of himself. Right now, I have a score to settle with that parasite for what he's done to my people." She hissed, fangs bared at the enemy. Ears flat against her head.

King Moonsoul faced his opponent once more. "Pooh. I forgive what you did. You've helped me. Now find my daughter. I'll buy you some time." He lowered himself down to a crouch. Queen Umbrina beside him. The two growled fiercely.

Pooh smiled. He nodded. He ran over to where Hurricane was. He placed his paw on it. He turned to his friends. "Piglet! Wisp! Help me with Hurricane! Tigger, help Mayble and Eeyore free anyone else."

Tigger gave a salute. "You got Pooh!" He and Mayble went over to the nearest statue they could find in the dim light.

Everyone went to each statue. They touched the stones. Their words screamed out over the sound of battle. Roars and screeches stretched across the room. Stone breaking apart. Flashes of light flooded the room. One by one a few creatures were set free from their prison.

Pooh, however, was struggling to get Hurricane free. He tried to say a few words, but couldn't reach him.

"Try Whirlwind," Piglet suggested.

Pooh went over to Whirlwind. His paw pressed against Whirlwind's chest. "Whirlwind. Wake up. We need your help. Honey Maple is still alive but she's trapped in the void. King Moonsoul is giving his all but I can't find her by myself. Please help me!" He soon repeated the incantation.

Cracks flashed before Pooh as they spread down Whirlwind's body. Pooh barely had enough time to back away. The rocks exploded with a loud BOOOM! Pooh landed on the floor with a thud. A few shards hit his body. Good thing I'm wearing armor, Pooh thought. He got up and saw Whirlwind stare before him.

"Thanks, Pooh." He handed a paw to Pooh. With ease, he lifted him up. The Chimera noticed his friend still frozen. "Aw Hurricane….Let's get you out of there."

Pooh, Whirlwind, Piglet and Wisp immediately went over to Hurricane. They each touched Hurricane's neck. Piglet and Wisp recited the words to Whirlwind as best as they could as the room grew louder with creatures on the attack. They lowered their heads as rocks and shrapnel flew around them. The words were played with ease. Cracks webbed around Hurricane.

"It's working," Wisp said. A boulder the size of her landed only a few feet away. Her eyes were filled with terror. "But still not enough."

"Perhaps I can help." A soft but authoritative voice cut through the chaos.

The group turned to see Queen Sandwisher among them. Tigger was at her side grinning. They were surprised to see her well but signs of exhaustion were written on her face.

Tigger was holding a strange statue in his paws. To Pooh's shock, it was none other than Roo. The little kangaroo's face held a scared expression. Arms tucked in as if preparing for the worst. "Just had to tell her that her General Hurricane got stone cold claws. She almost kicked me when she got out." He held up his buddy. "Come on Roo! We've got some hero work to do."

It didn't take long for Roo to break free upon hearing his friend's voice. He shook himself. His eyes blinked for a moment. "Tigger?" His voice was a bit raspy but it was a relief to hear it. He smiled when Tigger nodded. "Tigger!" He hugged his friend. "We gotta find Lumpy and mama!"

Tigger waved goodbye to his friends. He adjusted Roo onto his back. With a twist of his tail, he bounced away.

Piglet waved Queen Sandwisher over. "Hurry your majesty! We don't have much time!"

Queen Sandwisher stumbled for a moment. She kept her eyes on the fight between Nightplague, Queen Umbrina and King Moonsoul. Her face was filled with questions but they died the moment she reached Hurricane. She only said the words that everyone explained to her. She pressed her snout against Hurricane's. Upon doing so, the stones crumbled to dust.

Hurricane let out a mighty sneeze. His red eyes took a moment to focus. Upon realizing who was staring at him, he froze in place. "Q-Queen Sandwisher! Wha-what happened? What's going-" A loud roar turned everyone's attention back to see Queen Umbrina pinned under Nightplague's claws.

"Mama!" Jasper screamed. At a far distance, he tried to fly over but was soon held back by Vixen and Gypsy. "Let me go! Let me go!"

Pooh ran ahead. He lifted his sword. "I have to get Honey Maple!" He couldn't hear what his friends were saying but he had to keep going. He dodged several boulders that were coming at him. Creatures were running in every direction, it was hard to tell if they planned to fight or get out. He couldn't leave. Not without Honey Maple. He continued on until he felt something grabbed his armor.

He screamed as he was lifted into the air. His heart hammered loudly. His feet swung about. Panic filled him. Was this one of Nightplague's tricks? He looked up to see it was none other than Whirlwind. He smiled.

Whirlwind stared back at him. "If you think I'm going to let you go alone for that little gecko, you're sorely mistaken!" He twisted his body around. Pooh was flung into the air for a moment. Then, Whirlwind rightened himself before Pooh was fully in the saddle.

The two dodged more falling debris. It grew denser with each passing minute. Their eyes peered around. Whirlwind growled. "He probably keeps Honey Maple in a different room."

Pooh began thinking. His paw hitting his temple. "Think. Think. Hmmm…" He thought for a moment longer. Then, he remembered what Cassiopeia said. "Nightplague likes to make others sad. We know that Nightplague put them in one spot. However, he wanted Honey Maple to be eliminated."

Whirlwind shivered under him. "Maybe not right away. He was no doubt furious at missing his chance-" He halted at a nearby window. He peered outside. "Pooh look."

Pooh looked out of the window. He squinted his eyes. The sky was still dark. Not a single star in the sky. Then, he spotted two orbs in the sky. One was a lavender color while the other was a writhing dark mass that was moving closer and closer.

Whirlwind glanced up at Pooh. His wings beat faster to maintain in the air. "Pooh…Whatever you're thinking…You better hurry up."

"I think that's the sun. It's going to be swallowed up by the moon," Pooh said. However, a knot in his stomach made him uncomfortable. "I think Christopher Robin called it an Elipse."

Whirlwind froze for a moment. His wings faltered until he rightened himself. He took a turn into a nearby hallway. "Pooh! It's not an Elipse. It's Eclipse and I've actually heard about it. It was supposed to be a prophecy from our Chimera Elder."

Pooh felt a rock hit his head. Thankfully, it was small and only shifted his helmet. He shifted back into place. "What prophecy?"

"If we don't get Honey Maple back by the time the lavender sun and black moon combine, then Nightplague would eat her and steal all her magic."

At this Pooh thought harder. Then, he remembered King Moonsoul was big as Nightplague is. Maybe a little bigger. So, there's always a special room for King Moonsoul's size aside from his bedroom. "Try the throne room. It's the most important place of the castle."

Whirlwind flew faster. He began muttering something under his breath. His claws began to glow brightly. As rocks began to rain down on them, he swiped at one of them. It cuts across the surface with ease. His tail tossed another out of the way. Below, Whirlwind heard ferocious roars below them. This one sounded a bit more feminine.

The floor beneath them exploded before the duo. They almost crashed into a wall as they felt the force push them back. Once the dust cleared they saw four massive heads writhing through. One of them was a familiar red dragon. Her mouth filled with fire.

Pooh smiled. "Queen Flamesong!" He leaned to the right as a shrapnel almost went straight for his head.

"Let's head to the throne room." Whirlwind flew in the direction where the throne room was. His wing pumped faster and faster. However, it didn't stop the enraged cry of Nightplauge. Whirlwind didn't look back, but he knows Nightplauge is hot on his trail. His eyes focused on the place he was always sent to by his general. The days were he messed up on missions that were important. The threats King Desperaux would place on him. It's different, he thought. I'm going to find Honey Maple.

The duo arrived at a large room. The place was far darker due to the thick, black curtains that hung over thick glass that was the closest thing to windows. A throne sat in the middle of the room. Its raised platform made it look as though the ghost of the throne's owner was looking down at them. The throne was a mixture of stone, bone and thick briar that stretched out like a wicked tree. Two statues sat at each end. One of them was so small it was hard to see from the air.

Pooh narrowed his eyes. "Honey Maple?" Without warning, he was flung off Whirlwind's back. He flew up the raised platform. His body landed with a thud next to the twisted base of the throne. Pooh blinked for a moment. His head and vision swam for a few moments until everything became clear.

Nightplague was now standing in the entrance to the throne room. His eyes burned with anger. His wings flared out as he hissed. Laying by his sides were the two dragon rulers and Queen Umbrina.

Whirlwind was on the floor, in pain. He held up his front leg. One of his wings was set in a crooked arch. His eyes were focused on Pooh. "Go Pooh!" Whirlwind charged at Nightplauge before Pooh could protest.

Pooh grunted as he got up. His side burned from the impact. He got up as fast as he could. His head swam a bit, but he was able to locate Honey Maple. His heart ached as he saw her scared face staring at the fight. He went over. He lightly pressed his sword against Honey Maple.

"Honey Maple…" Pooh pressed his nose against her muzzle. "It's me. Pooh." Tears ran down his cheeks. His feelings poured out of his heart. He rubbed her head with his other paw. "I've…come to get you out of there." He sniffed. "I'm so sorry this happened. You should be born into a world filled with happy friends." He flinched at the sound of explosions around him.

Pooh narrowed his eyes, trying to find the narrowest crack he could find. He decided to chant his words once more. This time, he wrapped his arms around Honey Maple. He longed for warm scales. Claws that would dig into his body. Wings wrapped around him. He continued to sing the tunes that came into his head. The songs he sang during their trips. The song he sang to her when she was still in that egg. "I'll always care for you."

"P…P….Pooh?" A strange sing-song voice with a slight growl entered his ears.

Pooh looked down. Instead of a stone statue, Honey Maple was alive once more. A warmth spread to the entire armor. Amber eyes stared hopeful at him. "L-love P-Pooh. H-Honey Maple love Pooh."

Pooh's vision clouded with tears. He hugged his friend tightly. "I love you too." He soon felt a hot and foul smelling breath on his back. His nose burned at the smell. He slowly turned to see Nightplague looming over them. He glared back.

Nightplague arched his back. His mouth revealed rows upon rows of sharp teeth. His sickly green feathers flared out. A thick, green smog rolled out. Acid dripped down. The pale green drops hissed upon impact.

Pooh moved his arms to protect Honey Maple. However, Honey Maple wrapped one wing around his head and growled. "No…h-hurt…"

Nightplauge chuckled. "Aww…How cute. She's finally learning to talk." He tilted his head. "Not that'll do any good." He took a breath. A dark orb formed in his mouth.

Pooh wrapped his arms tightly around Honey Maple as best he could. He jumped out of the way. The dark orb hit the spot where they had just stood. Pooh looked up to see a large crater before them. He got up. He pulled out the sword. The blade glowed like a star in the darkness. To his surprise, Honey Maple slithered out of his arms.

Honey Maple hissed. A few growls and chirps erupted out of her throat. "Sssss-pell. Spell!"

Pooh stared at her. He was temporarily confused about what she just said. "What?"

"Spell!" Honey Maple roared. "Spell now!"

Pooh's eyes went wide. "Ooohhh." He quickly turned his head in time to see a tail ready to come down on him. He leaped once more. He rolled and rolled. His world took a dizzying turn. Pooh landed at the bottom of the throne. His body was so sore that it felt like an eternity to move. He nearly jumped as he saw King Desperuex by his side. The statue was mere inches from his face. It remained intact.

Pooh sat up. He looked around for Honey Maple. "Honey Maple? Honey Maple?"

"Pooh!" Honey Maple's shrill voice reached his ears. "Spell! Spell! L-light!" Right above him, Honey Maple was flying towards him. Her little wings wobbled slightly. Then, she crashed into Pooh's arms.

Pooh knew what he had to do. He looked down at Honey Maple. He hummed a few tunes. He shifted Honey Maple onto his shoulders. Her weight and claws barely did anything to him. He readied his sword.

Nightplauge only chuckled. Eye ridge raised. "You think a little sword and a few spells would stop me?" He moved closer and closer. His nostrils were a few feet away from Pooh's own nose. "I've taken on armies and beasts since the beginning of time. Cassiopeia was the only one to stop me." He chuckled. "Barely. Now here I am. Stuck with a baby dragon and a dim-witted bear. What makes you think you'd stand against me?"

Pooh readied himself. He hummed his tune. Then, with Honey Maple struggling with some of the words, an incantation escaped his lips. He charged at Nightplauge with all his might. His sword glowed a bright light. Pooh slashed Nightplague's hind leg, earning him a loud howl.

Nightplauge was a bit dumbfounded about this injury. How could a little bear take him down? Even with Cassiopeia's power, Pooh shouldn't be able to hurt his leg. He swiped his claws at Pooh. Only air met his claws. He shifted around to see where the bear went. Suddenly, a burning pain erupted on his wing. He let out a roar and gripped it. Nightplauge scanned the floor until he saw Pooh and Honey Maple standing on the crumbled throne. "No! It can't be!"

Pooh was now glowing from head to toe. His dark eyes are barely visible against the rainbow. Beside him, Honey Maple held an array of color along her scales. Her wings spread out. Together, they both say these words:

Darling don't wish to fight. Evil is in our sight. Call the stars. Call the sun and moon. Tell them to break us out of our heart cocoon. For small is big, big is small. We are here to stand for all!

A rainbow exploded once more out of the room. The roof of the palace crumbled away. The sun and moon stayed side by side. Stars bleed out of the hazy sky. Their light shone down on the duo. Strange unintelligible words vibrated out. Plants soon grew out of the floor. Flowers decorated a now broken throne.

Nightplague stared in horror. The small shape of his opponents twisted and stretch. Growing bigger and bigger with every minute. He gaped as he looked at their completed forms. Now longer stood a bear of very little brain and a baby dragon. Instead, there was a mighty bear with a fur of gold and opaline eyes. Next to him was a dragon that looked like a living flame. Both snarled with anger at Nightplague.

He shrunk away. "No! The prophecy! It can't be."

But it is! Cassiopeia's voice echoed through the throne room. However, Nightplague couldn't find her anywhere. For too long you've caused pain and misery to this kingdom. Now your reign shall finally end!"

Pooh and Honey Maple came at him with all their might. Honey Maple let out a burst of flame. Pooh raked his claws against Nightplague, but only with shallow wounds that stung like a thousand bees. Then, the two hugged Nightplague. Smoke rose from the body as Nightplague screamed out. His body slowly disappeared from existence.

A heavy hush filled the air. The dark clouds that filled the Hollow Realm didn't return. Instead, the moon and stars went away as if to say farewell to the sun until the time was right to meet again. The land began to explode with a variety of purple and black plants. There were a few flowers that were red or orange. Trees produced green fruits similar to grapes and apples. Rivers sparkled lavender purple and blue, fish leaping out in pure joy.

Whirlwind grunted as he slowly got up. He flinched as pain shot through his wing. He crawled over to where Pooh and Honey Maple were. He smiled as the duo rested against King Despereux's muzzle. His smile grew into a grin when Pooh turned his gaze to him. "It's finally over."

Pooh shook his head. "Not quite. We just need to bring back one more friend." He patted his paw on the mighty creature's nose.
