Thinking ' '

That day I died.
"It hurts"
I lie on the side of the road, bleeding from stab wounds to my stomach and back. I am a 19-year-old boy who lives in this corrupted city. I had just finished my part-time job and was on my way home when I was attacked.
I am poor, so I had to work while other children were going to school. I did it because I wanted to live. My income was not much, but it was enough for me to eat and buy one new set of clothes each month. I didn't know that today would be my last day in this world.
An hour ago, I bought my dinner and was on my way home. My house is small, with only one room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. I work at an ordinary bookstore, but I love my job. It allows me to continue reading books, which is one of my hobbies. My favorite type of book is Japanese light novels. I have already read many of the novels that come into the bookstore. The owner of the shop knows about my hobby, and he doesn't mind. He is a good person.
As soon as I get home, I start my next hobby: watching anime. Anime has helped me to cope with some of the problems in my life. There have been many times when I have been happy just thinking about it. I pay my neighbor a small amount each month for his Wi-Fi. It's not much, only about a quarter of the total cost. That's how I am able to watch anime, because I don't have enough money to get an internet connection of my own.
The rain was coming down in sheets, and the wind was howling. I pulled my coat tighter around me and quickened my pace. I needed to get home before I got soaked to the bone. As I rounded the corner, I saw a man threatening a small girl. I froze, my heart pounding in my chest. I didn't want to run away, but I was also scared. What if the man turned on me? I slowly walked towards them, keeping to the shadows. As I got closer, I could see that the man was holding a knife. It was stained with blood, and I knew that he had already hurt someone. I took a deep breath and stepped out from behind the wall. "Hey," I said. "What are you doing to that girl?"
The man turned to look at me, and his eyes widened in surprise. "Who the hell are you?" he asked. "Leave, boy. This isn't your business." I didn't say anything. I just stared at him, my eyes locked on him. The man hesitated for a moment, then he turned back to the girl. "Get over here," he said.
The girl didn't move. She just stood there, her eyes wide with fear.
"I said, get over here!" the man shouted.
The girl took a step forward, then another. She was shaking, and I could see that she was about to cry.
I took a step forward as well. "Don't do this," I said. "Let her go." The man's eyes narrowed. "I said, leave," he said.
I didn't move. "I'm not going anywhere," I said.
The man raised the knife, and I knew that I had to do something. I lunged at him, tackling him to the ground. We rolled around on the ground, struggling for control of the knife. The man was stronger than me, but I was fighting for the girl's life. Finally, I managed to get the knife away from him and throw it aside. I stood up and helped the girl to her feet.
"Come on," I said. "We need to get out of here." We ran through the rain, away from the man. I didn't look back, but I could hear him shouting behind us. We ran until we were sure that he wasn't following us, then we stopped to catch our breath.
"Thank you," the girl said. "You saved me."
I smiled. "You're welcome," I said. "I'm just glad I could help." We walked for a while in silence, then I tried to spoke with her.
"Where are your parents? Are you alone? Do you need help getting home?" I asked a lot of questions at once.
"Yes, can you help me?" Her face looked scared. At the same time, her clothes were completely wet. So I took off the black coat I was wearing and gave it to her.
"Yes, I can. I will take you to your house. Do you remember the address of your house?" She pressed the coat I gave her to her chest and looked at me.
"Looks like you don't remember! Do you?" I asked again.
"Well..." she scratched her cheek and smiled.
"Wh-!" Before I could even speak a word, I felt something sharp go through my back. The girl in front of me started to laugh like crazy.
"You fell for it!!" she said, and I slowly looked at my back without realizing anything what happened to me.
"You!" It was the man who had threatened the girl earlier. "You won, huh, little lady?" As soon as he smiled, he again pressed the knife to my back. The water on the floor suddenly turned red because of my blood. The girl in front of me took a few steps back. Maybe she thought that I would catch her.
"Grrh! Let go, you coward!" I hit the man who had stabbed me in the stomach with my elbow. At the same time, he pulled the knife out of my back and kicked me. Due to the kick, I was thrown forward and hit the wall, then fell down. My legs had no strength, so I couldn't get up.
"Who are you?" I asked, leaning against the wall.
"We? Are you asking about us? We're just robbers. This is my uncle," she said, pointing to the man who was standing beside her. I didn't have the strength to speak. I think the knife must have pierced my internal organs.
Just as I was about to say a word, I felt more and more blood seeping out of my wound. "And thank you for being our prey," she said, putting her finger to her lips and making a scary face. She came close to me and stabbed my stomach with some kind of sharp object. I couldn't see it properly, but it felt like a knife. I began to struggle with the pain, but I didn't even have the strength in my body to hold her hand, so I couldn't stop her attack.
"What a pity," she said, putting more pressure on my wound. "Grrh! It hurts!" I cried out. "Then quit struggling," she said. "I can't search your pockets properly if you're moving around." She tried to search for my wallet, but she couldn't find it.
"Shit!" she said, looking at the man who was standing behind her. "Uncle," she called out. "Come here." The man came over and looked at me. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"I can't find his wallet," the girl said. He also started to search for my wallet.
"What!? Hurry up, please!" the girl said.
The man kept checking my pockets, but he couldn't find my wallet either.
"I don't understand," the man said. "I saw his wallet before the fight."
"I don't know," the girl said. "Maybe he dropped it."
I mumbled, "W-wallet inside the black coat." I thought if they found the money, they would leave me alone. The girl listened to what I said and started to check my black coat. She found the wallet in my inner pocket and took it out. She opened the wallet and saw the money inside. She smiled and said, "Got it, let's go."
The girl took the money from the wallet and threw it away. The man then threw my coat to the side of the road. The girl walked a few paces away and looked at me.
"You help others too much. That's why you're going to die here today," she said. She threw what was in her right hand towards me. It was a broken bottle piece, small but sharp enough to kill someone.
The girl and the man disappeared into the darkness. I was scared to death. I had never caused trouble to anyone in my life. Why was this happening to me? I kept thinking.
"I don't want to die," I wished. My vision started to get dark. I couldn't see the things around me clearly. I felt like my soul was being pulled out of my body. I think I died.

Breaking news on XX TV : 19-year-old boy stabbed to death on 2nd Road in XXXX District on March 21
"Onii-chan please wake up, Onii-chan please wake up If you do not awaken I'm going to kiss You ummmmmm"
I slowly opened my eyes, still half asleep. I had no idea where I was. The ceiling was unfamiliar, and the room was filled with unfamiliar belongings. I heard a woman's voice from downstairs.
"Issei, what are you doing? Come down for breakfast, honey!"
I sat up in bed, confused. "Who was that?" I asked myself. I got up and started to wander around the room, looking for clues.
I saw a few things that suggested I was in Japan. There was a traditional Japanese futon on the floor, and a framed painting of an anime girl hanging on the wall. I tried to open the door, but it was locked from the outside. I started to search for the key, but I couldn't find it.
"Where am I?" I muttered to myself.
As I was searching, I noticed a strange book on the bed. It was a porn magazine, and I had never had the opportunity to read one before. I was excited, but I also felt a pang of guilt. These kinds of porn magazines were expensive, and I knew I shouldn't be wasting money on them.
I also remembered that I got stabbed by a girl a day ago. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in this strange room.
I put down the magazine and stood up. I knew that I had to find a way to escape. I couldn't stay here forever. I walked over to the door and tried to open it again. This time, I was able to force it open a few inches. I peered through the crack in the door, but there was nothing to see outside. At the same time, I remembered something. I reached down and felt my stomach, where I had been stabbed the day before. But to my surprise, there was no scar.
I also felt a change in myself that I hadn't felt before. I felt stronger, and my senses were sharper. I looked down at my hands, and they were more muscular than I remembered. I turned and looked at the mirror in the room. I was surprised to see that the person looking back at me was not me. The face in the mirror was younger, with a harder expression. The eyes were a different color, and the hair was a different style.
"Is this really me? Fuck! what is happening?"
I heard someone coming from downstairs. I was afraid that it might be the kidnapper, so I looked for a place to hide. I couldn't find a good place, so I decided to run down from the balcony. However, my hand was still shaking from yesterday's incident, so I knew I couldn't do it.
The door opened, and a woman in her early 30s came into the room. She was wearing a simple dress and had a kind face.
"Issei, what are you doing? I told you to come down right now. Hurry up, let's go. Breakfast is ready. You need to put on some pants, damn it," she shouted.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Huh, what are you saying, son? Are you not feeling well again?" she asked. She came over to me and put her hand on my forehead. "It's warm, Issei. Are you okay?"
I didn't know what she was talking about. I didn't remember her, and I didn't know why she was calling me "son."
"I'm okay," I said politely. "I'll come down in a few minutes." I needed to buy some time to figure out what was going on.
"Okay, but hurry up," she said. She turned and left the room.
I took a deep breath and tried to calm down. I didn't know who this woman was, or why she was calling me "son," but I knew I had to find out. I had to find out who I was, and what had happened to me. I got dressed and went downstairs. The woman was in the kitchen, cooking breakfast. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Good morning, Issei," she said. "Did you sleep well?"
"Yes," I said. "Thank you."
"I'm glad," she said. "Now, come and have some breakfast."
I sat down at the table and she served me a plate of food. I ate slowly, trying to think of what to say. After eating, I went back to the room and checked it again for any clues about my situation. I found some school books that could belong to the boy who lived in this room. The name written inside the book was "Issei Hyoudou."
"Hmm, I have heard that name somewhere," I thought to myself. Suddenly, I remembered something. I went out of the room and into the living room. I saw a photo of Issei's family and some other things related to Japanese culture. At this point, I could imagine what had happened.
I went out of the house and inspected the surroundings carefully. I wanted to learn a little bit about this city that I had never seen before. At the same time, I checked the mailbox belonging to the house where Issei lived. At this point, my suspicion was confirmed.
The mailbox was addressed to Gorou Hyoudou. This meant that I was in Japan, and that I'm now inside of a light novel. I realized that I had been reincarnated into this world, but not in the way that I had read about in light novels. My soul had been transferred into Issei's body. Did this mean that I had to live the life that Issei had lived in the light novel?
I felt a mixture of emotions. On the one hand, I was excited to be in this world. I had always been a fan of High School DxD, and I was eager to experience it for myself. On the other hand, I was also scared. The future of this world was not looking good. If I didn't survive, the world would end.
I knew that I had to prepare for the challenges that lay ahead. I had to train hard and learn everything I could about the world. I also had to make sure that I was on the side of good. If I didn't, the world would be doomed.
I walked out onto the balcony and looked up at the sky. I wanted to scream out my frustration and fear, but I knew that it wouldn't do any good. I took a deep breath and tried to calm down.
"God, why did you put me inside of this novel?" I asked. But then I remembered something. There was no God in this universe. I was on my own.
And that's it! Thanks for reading my first fanfic, guys. Please forgive me for any spelling or grammar errors.
This is High School DxD, but in this story, Main character is a reincarnated 19-year-old boy. Don't worry, this fanfic has ecchi and is not canon. However, I need to follow the canon plot because the MC reincarnated into a light novel. That's why he will face many of the arcs that Issei faced in the LN. But the plot is a bit changed. I'm writing this from my best pov.
If you're wondering about our MC, he's a bit of a pervert. Why do you ask? Because his soul transferred into one of the biggest perverts in Kuoh town. But he is also smart. So I'm sure he will become the best Red Dragon Emperor ever. I'm asking for advice. Please give me some reviews. I will upload the first chapter after this, so read it well. Thank you
