Chapter Two
1969, Luke 13, Bo 11:

1. It was lunch time at school. Bo went to get his lunch, but he found a note in his backpack:

"I saw a quote: 'Even though life made us brothers, I'd chose you as a friend.' well, even though life made us cousins, I'd chose you as a brother AND a friend. -Luke"

"How'd he know I was havin' a bad day?" Bo whispered to himself.

"What?" His friend, James asked him.

"Nothin'." Bo smiled: he wasn't having a bad day anymore.

this ones dedicated to my little brother, who is more like my best friend. (even tho he'd tease me if he knew i wrote fanfiction)

2. Luke headed out to do the morning chores. He'd left Bo in bed because he'd had a rough night with asthma last night, and he felt bad for him. Luke'd decided to do his and Bo's chores that morning. He went to get the pitchfork to clean Maudine's stall, but there was a note stuck through the tines:

"Just do YOUR chores, I already did mine. -Bo"

3. Bo went to grab a pair of socks from Luke's sock drawer, seeing as how he'd run out. He pulled a pair of socks out and started putting them on, but there was a piece of paper inside of one of them:

"Quit stealing my socks. I don't care if you already put them on, take them off and get your own."

4. Luke was about to get on his bike to ride his troubles away. He'd been havin' a real rough day, on account of today being the anniversary of the day his baby brother Judd had died in a hospital fire, twelve years ago. Luke started to get on his bike, but he found a note taped to it:

"Meet me in the hayloft. Don't ask me how I knew you was gonna get on your bike, just come. -Bo"

With nothing better to do, Luke decided to see what Bo was up to. But how did Bo know he was gonna get on his bike? He headed into the barn and climbed up into the hayloft, where Bo sat waiting.

"Howdy." Bo greeted.

"Hey. What's goin' on?" Luke asked.

"I was thinkin' ya might like to be my blood brother?" Bo unfolded his pocket knife.

5. Luke woke up at 5:30 like always, and when he went to wake Bo, he wasn't there. Instead there was a note on his bed:

"I'll be back by 5:45, I swear. I'll tell you where I went just PLEASE don't tell Uncle Jesse and Aunt Lavinia that I was gone."

6. Luke was thumbing through one of his car magazines, when he found that a page was torn, and in between two pages was a small scrap of paper with one word scribbled on it:

"Sorry."

He didn't have to guess who'd ripped his magazine.

"BO!"

7. Bo an' Luke'd had a verbal argument that Daisy had prevented from becoming a physical fight a few hours ago, and Luke was trying to think of a way to settle everything, to end the argument, but he found a note on his bed that ended the argument for him:

"I don't care what you think she looks like, I think she's real hot. You don't see me making fun of your girl friends do you? No, you don't!"

Okay, maybe he'd been a little too mean, but she was built like a linebacker.

well that's 1969 in notes. idk what year is next, but it will definitely be something from 1970-1974-ish.
