I don't own Loonatics Unleashed

Enjoy!

Another shooting day. Ace Bunny watched as the movie scene unfolded before him. With all the noise from the robot that he had been used to, he tried his hardest not to fall asleep in watching such a clichéd scene. Even a new rendition of A Christmas Carol would have been a lot better than this. Trying to keep his eyes wide open, Ace waited for his cue once the actors had finished their scene. He wished he could be anywhere else but here.

That anywhere else had been part of his dreams. Lately, he had dreams of a specific female rabbit whom he had met many days ago by the movie theatre. A part of him wished that he hadn't ended their meeting so soon but circumstances had called for that. Ever since, he hadn't seen her again and he wondered what she had been up to.

I should've given her my number when I had the chance Ace thought as a light smile came upon his lips. Hold your horses there, Bunny he then scolded himself now is not the time to be hopelessly sentimental about it all. Just hope that she doesn't hate ya after ya called her a 'doll.' He still couldn't believe that she had been a bit harsh when he called her that, but he didn't care for her reaction. It was the fact that he wanted to see her again.

"Cut!" the director yelled.

Ace had never seen the man looking so happy before. He hoped that it was an indication that they were almost done with shooting this movie. He had lost count on how many scenes they had just done many months ago to now.

"Where's that stunt rabbit?" the director then yelled, causing Ace's ears to perk up at the mention of his species.

Ace walked up to him, in his costume and the mask in his hands. "Yeah," he dragged out the word, "that would be stunt bunny."

The director couldn't wait for the day until he was done working with his rabbit. The agility that this rabbit had was something that the main actor didn't and it helped with the scene…only if he would follow the script! Fighting the incoming headache that was threatening to arise, the director took a deep breath and mustered a smile at the rabbit. "Now," he breathed out, "like we rehearsed."

However, Ace was not going to give up. Even though he had tried very hard to convince the director to use some of his ideas, and they had been unsuccessful, Ace was willing to try it again considering how happy the director was today. "I actually got some idea you're gonna love," Ace said to him as he began to demonstrate what he was planning on doing.

The director rolled his eyes at the rabbit's futile attempts in trying to convince him. There was no way that he was going to deviate from the script. He would have to re-block the whole scene after and they would be behind schedule. He had hoped that a rabbit like him, coming from a family of showbiz would understand. As Ace continued to show off his moves for the supposed changes, the director was not at all impressed.

"No," he answered Ace with a chuckle and walked up to the rabbit, "see I am the director," he said as he pointed to himself, "which makes me the boss and that means you," he pointed at Ace and noticed the unsatisfied look upon his eyes, "do the scene that way I tell you to do the scene." He haded him the mask and walked away from Ace.

Ace felt dismayed. Any more arguing and a fight would have broken out between them. He could feel the director's patience wearing thin with him and he thought that this ought to be the last attempt that he would try and convince him. It was going to be the same conversation that followed along the lines of 'I'm the director, you're the stunt rabbit. You do what I say.'

"AND…ACTION!" the director yelled.

Ace didn't have the chance to put on the mask. He felt his ears being grabbed by a metallic hand as he was pulled by the robot. He didn't have a chance to react as the robot began to beat him up. What sort of a scene was this? He didn't remember reading this in the script! Wasn't he supposed to try and fight the robot like the main actor was supposed to? As the robot gave him a last scuffle, Ace felt his feet touching the pavement as he moaned and dizzily walked over to where the mask had fallen.

He felt all his strength leave his body and fell onto the pavement. That's it! he thought to himself as he slowly regained his strength and got up from the ground. Once this day was over, he was going to pack and get out of this place. He didn't need this type of mistreatment coming from someone who was self-centered and thought was the greatest director in all of Acmetropolis.

Suddenly, a noise that almost sounded like an earthquake made its way to his ears. "Huh?" his voice was less than a whisper as he looked up and saw a ball of light heading towards the city. He tried to muster as much strength as he could to move away, but it was very limited. Get outta here or you're gonna get killed! Ace screamed in his head.

"Everyone out!" he heard the director yell to the people on set. No one even bothered to run over and help him but not was not the time to feel anger towards his co-stars.

As the light came closer and closer, it became so bright that Ace thought he was going to go blind. He threw an arm to shield his eyes and then felt a shockwave on the ground. He felt his body being lifted and thrown across the street and into a building. The last thing he felt was his body hitting the pavement and his vision beginning to get blurry.

If I don't make it outta this Ace thought to himself as he quickly thought of one last prayer tell my father I love him and my mother that I'm sorry.

Then everything went black.
