So, on Monday morning, I had the early shift, which means getting up at six in the morning. Sunday night was so hot and humid that I couldn't sleep. At three o'clock, I decided to give up and get up, and I hammered down most of this chapter. The Monday was me being like a zombie at work and at home because of tiredness but today, I managed to finish the chapter ^^

Egamer25 and Richard76310: This chapter explains how he got them ;)

Enjoy :)

"Rico! Rico!" someone shouted and hammered at his door, quickly waking him up to full awareness.

"What is it?" he asked after opening the door, finding Kovac outside. "Why aren't you on your post?"

"Rico, the prophet... he..." Kovac stammered.

"Speak!" Rico ordered, grabbing Kovac by the shirt. "What happened to the prophet? Is he in need of medical help?"

"The prophet, he's... dead." Kovac said, in a way that made it evident that he could scarcely believe it.

"HE'S WHAT?" Rico shouted, pushing Kovac aside and running to the prophet's resident, Kovac running behind him.

"Rico." Nico stood up when Rico arrived, clearly distraught but Rico just ran past him into the prophet's bedroom.

"What happened here?" Rico asked after checking the prophet's pulse, finding none.

"We don't know." Kovac told him. "As you told us, we checked on him regularly. The first two checks, he was fine, breathing normally, his face was serene. Then, on the third check, he wasn't breathing. We tried CPR and mouth to mouth, but nothing wouldn't work."

"In what intervals did you check on him?" Rico asked, standing up and looking down at the body of the man who enlightened him.

"Every hour." Nico replied. "We went in a few minutes before eleven, then again at midnight. Both times, he seemed fine. Then, at one, we found him like this."

"What do we do?" Kovac wanted to know.

"Don't tell anyone about this, not yet." Rico ordered as he grabbed his phone to dial the number of the phone that his two men at the tree house had.

"Yes?" came the voice from the speaker.

"Carlyle, I need an update on the two subjects."

"We are happy to report that we were able to fulfill the prophet's wish and took more naked pictures of the woman." Carlyle told him. "However, they are from far away, from a camera we have installed on the cell tower, since she hasn't appeared in the nude inside the bedroom when the shades weren't drawn."

"I'm not talking about that." Rico stopped his report. "Have they left the cabin at some point in the past few hours?"

"No, they went to bed at around ten-thirty and haven't left since. The lights are out and we can hear no loud noises from where we are sitting." Carlyle told him. "Why?"

Rico didn't answer and ended the call. He opened the browser on his phone and tried to connect to a few sites he knew but the loading bar stopped every time it reached about three quarters.

"Fucking bad data connection." he cursed.

"Where are you going?" Kovac asked when Rico barreled past him.

"I'm going to get some information on the two subjects." Rico called over his shoulder. "You two, keep pretending to guard the prophet, nobody gets in, is that clear?"

"Yes, Rico." Kovac nodded and closed the bedroom door. "But what do we do if one of the elders wants to talk to him? We don't have the authority to stop them."

"If they try before I return, find some excuses until I'm back." he said before running to his room.

Rico grabbed a box from his quarters, then ran back out and jumped into one of the group's cars and left the compound, the guards at the gates quickly letting him pass after he regaled them with a long string of profanity at their slowness. Breaking every driving speed law, he drove to Sacramento, the late night masking his speed with no cops on the roads and he only slowed down to legal speeds when he was close to the city, having managed the ninety minute drive in half that time.

He drove around, trying to find the correct facility. He couldn't risk going to the hotel since his long absence would cause too many questions about his whereabouts. He kept driving until he found what he was looking for, a twenty-four hour copy shop with a bored-looking young man sitting behind the counter.

"Can I help you?" the man went to attention when Rico entered.

"I need to use your special facility." Rico said and pushed a golden coin towards the man.

"Yes, Sir." the man nodded and handed him a key before pointing to the door behind him. "In there, the keyhole is on the right."

Rico nodded and went into the room. It was full of boxes and on the left side, a door led into the bathroom. He looked on the right wall and found a small hole into which he pushed the key he had received. The wall receded and slid to the side, revealing a small room with a powerful computer, a printer and a scanner.

He took the pictures that had the best angles on the two subjects and put them into the scanner. He scanned them in and the software showed them on the screen. Using the same software, he enlarged their faces and enhanced the quality before letting facial recognition software do its thing. It only took a few minutes for the software to return a result, and he cursed once again when he looked at the files of two FBI agents.

Nothing in their files said anything about them not being on a genuine vacation, it even listed them as being a couple. Still, something bothered him. He scanned in the picture of the car they used and ran the plates, the result surprising him.

"Howard Wolowitz." he read the name on the car's registration.

Another quick search showed that Howard Wolowitz was an engineer employed with Caltech, which raised a few questions in his mind. Why would two FBI agents stationed in Washington DC use a car that belonged to an engineer working for a university in Los Angeles instead of a rental car? He did another search to make sure that the registration wasn't just outdated and the car a rental after all but nothing showed anything but the car being registered to this Howard Wolowitz.

With another curse, he got up and left the copy shop. As he began his drive back, he decided that he had to commit some drastic measures to get information, just to make sure that the two hadn't assassinated his prophet, however they might have done it. He hit redial on his phone and waited for the call to be answered.

"Rico?" came the question from the speakers.

"Carlyle, I'm on my way back and will be there in about an hour. Be ready by then." he told his underling.

"Ready for what?" Carlyle wanted to know.

"We're going to grab the two subjects and question them." Rico told them. "Make sure that they don't escape in the meantime."

"Yes, Rico." Carlyle confirmed and Rico ended the call.

Somehow, these two were responsible for the prophet's death. Given what happened, it made the woman running into the prophet a lot more suspect to him and he would not rest and use every method of torture he knew to get these two to talk.

"Yeah, lick it baby." Penny moaned, seeing the silhouette of Leonard's head between her legs.

When Leonard had suggested that they stayed awake all night, just in case someone from the cult came after them, Penny had groaned in frustration, not relishing sitting in the dark and not sleeping. However, she didn't have to worry. While they were both reading on their tablets, Leonard had huffed and put his down.

She had expected him to do some exercise but he had simply pulled her pajama bottoms off and got naked himself. She had feigned some resistance for a few seconds but his fingers quickly dissuaded her from that and she had welcomed him inside her, only to be ravaged by him, as if they hadn't had sex for months instead of thirteen hours.

After he was finished, it had been quite difficult for her to stay awake, sexually sated as she was. She had wondered how he was able to stay so awake, even humming as he continued reading on his tablet while she was lying on her back, still basking in the post-coital glow. After recovery, she had gone back to reading until about three in the morning, when she had yawned loudly and ready to fall asleep.

Leonard had once again put his tablet away, climbed over her and simply spread her legs, since she had not bothered to put on her pajama bottoms again. The result was their current position, Penny leaning against the headboard, her legs resting on his shoulders while his mouth did magic to her. She felt herself coil up and knew what was soon coming when she heard the sound of screeching tires, which cause Leonard to stop moving. His mouth was still attached to her but as if he was torturing her, he didn't move.

"Honey, please move your tongue." she pleaded, having been close to climaxing but instead, he lifted his head and got up.

"Get dressed!" he hissed as he grabbed his shorts and a pair of sweatpants, putting both on before slipping into his shoes.

She didn't question his order, given the urgency with which he had given it. Tyson began to growl and was quieted by Leonard with a hushing sound, followed by two clicking commands with his tongue, the two canines trotting into the bathroom. She put on some sweatpants and a shirt, then her shoes and followed Leonard. She noticed the people outside the cabin but before she could enter the bathroom, Leonard nudged her side, Penny understanding and walking into the small closet to hide while Leonard joined the dogs.

They stayed completely quiet, even the dogs, while they waited. They heard a slight rattling of someone manipulating the lock and a few seconds later, the lock was picked with a the metal click and the door opened. Through the slit of the closet door, she saw three men enter. She could easily identify one of them clearly as being Rico, his size known to her, the other two were probably the two that had watched them from the tree house. All three had guns drawn, Rico walking into the cabin with his gun in front of him and he clearly knew how to use it.

Suddenly, chaos broke out. Leonard stormed out of the bathroom, kicking Rico's wrist and making the big man drop his weapon before Leonard slammed into him, both tumbling into the living room area. Using that as her cue, Penny pulled the closet door open and grabbed the clothes hanger bar above her, not thinking about the possibility that it might not hold her. Luckily it did and she used it to swing forward, her feet connecting with the chest of the first of the two other men, making him crash backwards into his comrade, both men stumbling onto the patio, the one in the back falling down when he tripped against the leg of one of the chairs.

She gave a whistled command as she ran forward, tackling the first man who had remained on his feet and crashing through the wooden balustrade that marked the rim of the patio. They rolled onto the grass, Penny ending up on top and she quickly slapped the man's gun out of his hand. Before the other guy could get back up, both dogs came running out. Major bit into the man's thigh, the sudden pain making him push his head back.

Tyson needed no better invitation and sunk his teeth into the man's throat and clamping his jaw shut. With a strength that came from panic induced adrenaline, the man put his arms under the dog and pushed up. Unfortunately for him, Tyson's jaw was stronger than he might have thought because instead of just pushing the dog off of him, Tyson ripped the man's throat out as he was lifted, the chunk of flesh remaining between his teeth as he flew backwards.

While the man died with a gurgle as his lungs filled with blood, Penny grappled with the other man. He was somewhat trained in fighting but to her, it looked amateurish and sloppy, his arms moving up in what he might have perceived in a fast motion but it seemed slow to her. She defended against his attacks and punched down, her fists repeatedly hitting the man's face, his nose audibly breaking.

Suddenly, he pushed her off of him and tried to jump on top of her but she rolled out of the way and after he landed face down, she kicked forward, hitting him in the jaw again before jumping onto his back. She reached around his neck and squeezed, trying to choke him out but he was bigger than her and just rolled her around again. Penny gave him a quick jab into his face, the man howling in pain when she connected with his already broken nose and he fell backwards, his hands going instinctively over his face to protect it.

Penny needed no more invitation and slammed the side of her hand against his throat. The man began gasping, his hands going to his throat and Penny could see that he would be dead in a few seconds, since she had crushed his larynx. She got up and kicked his gun away, leaving him to die as she ran back to the cabin to help Leonard. The whole fight had only lasted a minute, and the noise from inside the cabin told of a tough fight being fought.

She entered the cabin and almost turned on the lights before realizing that it would probably blind Leonard as well as Rico so she grabbed the special glasses and put them on, the room illuminating in enhanced light. As she watched the fight between the two in the dark, she realized just how big Rico really was. He was easily a foot taller than Leonard and outweighed him by at least of a hundred pounds.

Leonard punched forward, Rico easily blocking the attack and swinging a counterattack that connected with Leonard's elbow. She recognized the Wing Chun defense, whereas Rico's style was less technical but had a lot more brute force behind it. Leonard got pushed against the wall and Rico's arm moved back to punch and Penny took the opening, grabbing Rico's wrist and pulling it down before bending her upper body sideways and lifting her leg up to smash her knee into the man's cheek.

Rico recovered quicker than she thought and the back of his hand hit her face, causing her to fall down and bounce against the couch. Her glasses slipped upwards and she quickly pulled them back down, only to see Rico's foot coming down over her head. She barely managed to twist her head out of the way, his foot crashing down and cracking the floor board. He tried again, his right leg going into the air but before he could stomp down, Leonard's foot connected with the back of his left knee, making it buckle.

He hissed in pain but remained on his feet. Leonard jumped on his back and twisted around, almost sitting on his shoulder as he punched downward into the man's face. Rico took the punches and pushed Leonard off of him, her love falling onto the couch. Leonard used his momentum to roll backwards to get back to his feet, taking the couch with him, while Penny rolled to the side and got back to her feet as well.

Just as she was upright, Rico's came at her. She lifted her arms, the fist hitting her right elbow and making it numb with the force of impact. She stumbled backwards and Rico came after again her but before he could reach her, Leonard again hit his legs, making Rico stumble. The big man turned around to hit Leonard again but Leonard grabbed his arm, twisting his own around to hold him in place.

Rico tried to hit Leonard with his left but Leonard again caught the arm, managing to hold both in place. Rico lifted him up to throw him off but Leonard managed to get his feet against the wall, holding him in place. She could hear him scream in pain but she still managed a whistle during all of this. Eighty pounds of muscle and teeth ran into the room, Major sinking his teeth into Rico's right thigh. Reflexively, Rico bent his back in an attempt to create distance between the dog and his leg, his head going backwards and his mouth opening in a pained shout.

Seeing her opening, Penny lifted her right leg in a vertical split before smashing it down on Rico's forehead. His head snapped backwards, the neck audibly breaking and like a switch being flicked, he turned limp and fell down. Suddenly released from the pressure, Leonard fell as well, six feet down and even though he managed to get his arms in front of him to break the fall, he screamed in pain again.

"Fuck!" she cursed and took off her glasses before finally turning on the light. "Are you okay?"

"No, it's my shoulder." he ground out through clenched teeth, his arm close to his chest.

"Oh my god!" she exclaimed when she saw it. "I think it's dislocated."

"Excuse me, is everything alright in there?" a voice came from the outside.

"Shit, what do we do?" Penny whispered to Leonard.

"Tell her to call nine one one." he said.

"Really?" she was surprised.

"Yes, now!" he confirmed.

"Call nine one one!" Penny shouted to the woman, who she recognized as the proprietor of the cabins. "Police and paramedics!"

"Shit!" the woman gasped when she noticed the body on the patio before fumbling for her cellphone.

"Who are you calling?" Penny wondered when she saw Leonard also grabbing his phone.

"This better be good." a tired voice came from the speaker.

"Howard, it's Leonard." Leonard spoke. "I need you to hack the registration of the place we're in."

"Why?" Howard asked.

"We were just attacked by Enrico and two of his henchmen." Leonard told him.

"Shit, are you alright?" Howard was suddenly awake and quickly walking to his desk to open his laptop and bringing it out of standby.

"Not really but that's not important right now." Leonard said. "You need to hack the registration and change the names to our FBI cover IDs."

"On it." Howard confirmed and Leonard could hear typing. "Oh man, this place has Gameboy level security."

"Send me a message when you're done." Leonard told him.

"No need, just finished." Howard stopped him from hanging up. "Penny's name wasn't on it, so I just kept her as plus one."

"Great, thanks Howard." Leonard said and ended the call.

"Why the change in registration?" Penny wanted to know.

"Because if law enforcement thinks we're FBI, it's easier to explain how we were able to beat them. Otherwise, too many questions might arise." he shrugged with one shoulder.

"What do we do know?" she wondered.

"We wait for the police." he said and walked into the kitchen, grabbing an ice pack before heading outside to sit on the steps of the patio. "Can you get our badges?"

"Sure." she nodded and headed back inside to grab their FBI IDs.

A few seconds later, she was back outside, sitting down next to him on the steps to wait for the police and paramedics. It took ten minutes for the police to arrive, two vehicles arriving with flashing lights and sirens. The sheriff and three deputies entered the property, guns drawn, and pointed them at Leonard and Penny.

"Lets see your hands!" one deputy shouted.

"Hey, we're the victims here." Penny shouted at him, the cops relaxing a bit when they saw them sitting there, with Leonard holding an ice pack against his shoulder.

"What happened here?" the sheriff asked, putting his gun away while his deputies went to the body on the grass and patio.

"Home invasion." Leonard told him. "There's another one inside. They just came in with guns drawn. Who are you?"

"I'm Sheriff Boyle." the man introduced himself.

"I'm Vincent Breslau." Leonard showed him his badge and ID.

"Vanessa Riley." Penny did the same.

"The Bureau?" the sheriff looked closer at the IDs. "What are you doing here?"

"Vacation." Leonard said, just as more sirens were heard, an ambulance stopping a minute later.

"Jesus, what happened to this one?!" the deputy who checked on the guy on the patio gasped. "He looks like he was mauled."

"They did that." Leonard pointed to his dogs.

"Your dogs attack people?" Boyle asked.

"No, they defended us." Penny shook her head. "Which is their job."

"Fuck!" a curse came from inside the cabin.

"What's wrong, Ben?" Boyle shouted.

"The guy in here has a broken neck." came the call back.

"We didn't think we needed our guns for a vacation in Fulton." Leonard pointed out. "But we do know how to defend ourselves."

"I can see that." Boyle made a face. "Jesus!"

"Who needs medical attention?" one of the two paramedics, who came in, asked.

"Here!" Leonard called him over. "My shoulder got dislocated in the fight."

"Lets see here." one of them said and began to examine his shoulder. "Mam, do you need medical attention as well?"

"No, just a few bruises." Penny waved him off.

"Just pop it back in." Leonard told him.

"This isn't the movies." the second paramedic said as he produced a sling. "For one, we don't know how and two, it could cause even more damage."

"Fine." Leonard grumbled and got up. "You got a fresh ice pack?"

"Sure." the first paramedic nodded and went ahead to get one as Leonard and Penny, along with the dogs, followed them.

"Sorry, they can't come in here." the second paramedic pointed to the dogs.

"I'll stay here, I have to talk to the cops anyway." Penny said. "Where are you taking him?"

"Liz Hospital." he told her.

"I'll join you later." Penny said to Leonard and gave him a kiss before the first paramedic closed the doors so the other could drive the ambulance away.

"So, what exactly happened here?" Boyle asked.

"We were... having fun... when our dogs heard them." she described. "We quickly put on some clothes and hid. When they came in, we defended ourselves."

"You're on vacation?" Boyle asked and Penny nodded. "Since when?"

"For eleven days now." Penny told him.

"Sheriff!" the deputy that was inside the cabin came out. "The guy in there."

"What is it, Benzen?"

"It's the main bodyguard for the prophet."

"What prophet?" Penny feigned ignorance.

"The leader of the religious group up north." Boyle told her.

"Why would they attack us?" she continued to play the role.

"Maybe because you're FBI?" one deputy mused. "They have made no secret of the fact that they hate law enforcement."

"But how would they know?"

"You ever flash your badges in town?" the third deputy, whose name she didn't know, suggested.

"No, why would we?" Penny shrugged.

"Sheriff." a voice came out of the walkie talkie attached to Boyle's shoulder. "I got something, over."

"What did you find?" Boyle spoke into the communicator.

"You need to see this for yourself." came the reply. "Come to the back, there's a tree house. Over."

"On my way." Boyle said and started walking.

"Why is he saying over and you don't?" Penny asked.

"George is a bit peculiar about this." Boyle shrugged and noticed Penny following him. "You should stay here."

"Sheriff, no offense, but I'm an FBI agent who just got attacked by members of a religious group, so I want to know what might have caused it." she stated resolutely.

"Point." Boyle shrugged and Penny accompanied him to the tree house, both climbing up the rungs that were hammered into the tree.

"George?" Boyle addressed the deputy that was sitting in the tree house, leafing through some pictures. "George!"

"Oh, you're here." George cleared his throat in embarrassment, then his eyes widened when he saw Penny. "Oh, she is too."

"What do you have there?" Boyle held out his hand, George handing him the pictures, albeit reluctantly.

"They are..." George stammered, his eyes roaming over Penny.

"Oh." Boyle commented when he saw the later ones and put all away.

"What?" Penny asked.

"These are pictures of you and your... husband?"

"Boyfriend." Penny corrected. "Show me."

"Maybe you..."

"Just hand them over." Penny sighed and Boyle handed her the stack. "Oh my god!"

The pictures were of her and Leonard, some of them doing mundane things like sitting in the garden area but the later ones were almost exclusively of her in various stages of undress, both inside the bedroom and outside at the pool when she sunbathed in the nude. The pool pictures especially piqued her interest.

"How did they take these?" she asked. "It's a different angle, you can't see the pool area from here."

"It looks as if they were taken from the cell tower behind the main building." George pointed to that direction.

"We may have a motive for the attack." Boyle suggested.

"I'm all ears." Penny said.

"We know that this so-called prophet likes his women." Boyle said. "God knows, he married a lot of them."

"So?" Penny still feigned ignorance. "What does this have to do with me?"

"You're a beautiful woman and he might have seen you in town and taken a shine to you." Boyle continued. "The fact that he had some of his men spy on and take pictures of you leads me to believe that this attack was designed to kill your man and kidnap you."

"You really believe that he would go that far?" Penny acted incredulous.

"I do." Boyle nodded. "And it's the only thing that makes sense."

"Then go arrest him." she played along, even though the chance was very high that her target was dead, given the reaction of Rico.

"Without real evidence, we can't anyway." Boyle shrugged. "Are you planning to stay here?"

"After this?" Penny chuckled while she moved towards the exit, taking the pictures with her. "I doubt it. Not to mention that Le... Vincent will need more medical care after they pop his shoulder back in."

"At least he can look forward to a few weeks of desk duty." George tried to lighten the mood as they walked back, where they saw the coroner's vehicle having joined the squad cars.

"That will be a punishment for him." Penny rolled her eyes and as she walked through the gate, she realized that she wasn't wearing any underwear under her clothes.

"These yours?" the coroner pointed to the dogs when Penny entered the property again.

"Yes." she nodded. "Did they give you any trouble?"

"No, they just went back there and sat down." the woman said. "However, I did notice that one of them must have killed the one on the patio."

"They both bit him but yes, one of them bit him in the throat." Penny confirmed.

"Are they that dangerous?" the coroner became more fearful.

"Oh, very." Penny nodded. "If you're not careful, they will lick you to death."

"Very funny." the coroner rolled her eyes. "I'm Madison, by the way."

"Vanessa." Penny gave her fake name. "Don't worry, as long as you don't attack me, they will leave you alone."

"Are you really FBI?"

"Yes." Penny nodded. "How much longer will this take?"

"Need to be somewhere?" Madison asked.

"My boyfriend got injured and was taken to the hospital, so yes." Penny confirmed and leaned in so nobody else would hear it. "And I'm going commando here, I don't wanna go to the hospital like that."

"You fought off three attackers while going commando?" Madison raised her eyebrows. "Mad respect."

"Not by choice, we were having some... naked fun when they attacked and we didn't have time to get fully dressed."

"I get it." Madison shrugged. "If you can get around the body, you can enter your bedroom to get dressed."

"Thanks." Penny nodded and headed inside.

She walked around Rico's body and entered the bedroom, closing and locking the door so she could get dressed properly. She took off the sweatpants and put on proper underwear before some other clothes. She packed some more into a bag for Leonard and walked back out, again avoiding getting too close to the body and exited the cabin just as Madison began walking inside.

"Fuck, how did you break this guy's neck?" Madison asked shocked when she saw Rico's large body, with his head at an unnatural angle.

"With my foot." she shrugged. "Vincent held him, Major bit his thigh and when he reared back, I took the chance."

"Major?"

"One of the dogs." she pointed backwards.

"I see." Madison nodded. "Yep, bite marks in the thigh."

"Do I need to stay here?" Penny asked. "I mean, do you have more questions?"

"If we do, we'll call you." Madison said. "Is your number listed at reception?"

"Yes." Penny nodded. "Well, not mine, but my boyfriend's."

"That'll be enough." Madison nodded. "But you should still talk to Sheriff Boyle before you leave in case he has more questions."

"Will do." Penny nodded and left the cabin with the bag, then searched for the Sheriff and finding him outside by the cars. "Sheriff?"

"Mam?" Boyle acknowledged her.

"You got any more questions for me?" Penny asked. "Otherwise, I'll head to the hospital."

"We're good for the moment." Boyle told her. "What about your dogs? Will you leave them here?"

"Hell no!" Penny was appalled by the idea. "They'll be coming with me."

"What about your things?" Boyle asked her.

"When you're done, just shut the door and ask the woman running this place to lock the door." she replied and whistled.

Major and Tyson came running, jumping into the backseat of the car when she opened the door for them. She got behind the wheel and took a deep breath, leaning back and closing her eyes, feeling the exhaustion creeping on as the adrenaline was wearing off. She shook her head to clear her thoughts and started the car, turning on the GPS to find the route to the hospital.

She hoped that her love was okay and it only was a dislocated shoulder.

Chapter ends with this. How did you like the fallout? ^^
