Perseus Jackson, one of the most powerful demigods, had a secret. It wasn't that much of a secret, some of the children of Hecate knew. They also were friends with him. Percy doesn't know why the other kids looked down at them so much.

He knows that some of them had to hide their dislike after learning whose side Hecate was on.

Perseus 'Percy' Grindelwald, one of the most experienced and known wizard of America. The national titles on his name stated him as a dueling champion. He was a known figure at Ilvermorny, famous for only hanging out with other powerful wizards, making him seen as some blood elitist.

Percy only hung out with the children of Hecate.

It was an issue, to be seen as an elitist. Many papers had written about him, when the word got out that he had blood relations with Grindelwald. All hell broke loose, every newspaper wrote about him. It even reached international status.

Stating that they should take away his wand and stop him from learning any magic to prevent another way.

Percy had fought in enough wars.

In the first war he had participated in, he was the main figure. A prophecy surrounding him, it was something that he had to succeed. Even at the age of 16.

After the war, papers were circulated about his scars and Percy was linked to Voldemort in some conspiracy theory. Something that he had not appreciated, at all. He had fought an ancient war and received those scars, for someone to say that he got it from fighting other wizards was scandalous.

Percy always had fun at family parties on his mother's side. He didn't like the grand affairs of his father. On his mother's side of the family. The pureblood family was spread thin over the whole world. When families were still huge, all of them kids were ambitious and traveled all over the world.

One settled down with another family, a pureblood one in France. One settled somewhere in Australia. It was as if they were modern colonizers. Most did stay in America.

Word then spread that every single one of them married a pureblood wizard who lived there. Newspapers raged about it, the bloodline of Grindelwald still continued to live up to their pureblood supremacists.

The family parties were a huge thing. Big families came together in Canada, mostly because a village of wizards lived there, near the border. Sally, after hearing that Alaska, Canada is one of the safest places for a demigod, immediately moved to the village.

Percy however, came home only for small holidays and some vacations.

The parties were thrown with luxury, tents were pitched up along with a dueling platform. Something that was always there at a party. Dueling was a way of bonding, for the wizards. Percy reveled in the moments he won from known aurors.

There was an outrage about his power as well, how he was equally as powerful as Grindelwald, who had put up a fight against Dumbledore. Something that the wizarding community always forgets is the money he put towards the ministry, he supported all kinds of departments. Mostly the auror and medical ones.

He knows what it is like to be a fighter, he knows that they also need their healers. Percy shook his head at the thought of one of his uncle's. He had been tortured until insanity by a rogue auror in Mexico. The rogue auror was a muggle-born, who had just snapped the moment his uncle said something blood related.

Uncle Ruiz now sat at a magical mental hospital, screaming and sobbing at the smallest things. The man had been affected by the torture curse, a lot.

The Second Giant war had its effects on Percy as well. He remembered his best friend, Annabeth with only her curls and stormy grey eyes. He went to Tartarus for her, he fought many monsters alongside her.

Ever since they met one another, they protected one another.

There were no bad feelings when Percy admitted his crush to her, only for her to say that she loved Luke. And that she'll only love Luke.

Percy celebrated in the corner, drinking some soda with Frank. He liked the young son of Mars. He saw him like family, because he was, in some sense, family.

Music sounded all over Olympus as the party raved on, Dionysus was allowed a few drinks and naturally, that led to a wild party. The music was sung by Apollo and his seven muses, Percy tapped his feet to the music and looked over the crowd.

Annabeth was dancing with Piper. He knew about her and Piper, he's guessing that Annabeth didn't want to say anything to not hurt him, but he knows. He knows how they're always together, how they share secret glances and have many girls nights together.

He knows that they are a couple. In the same way he knew that Luke was an excuse, she couldn't love Percy like she is loving Piper. Percy gave her a smile and raised his glass.

Annabeth smiled and raised her glass as she continued dancing with Piper.

His love life was tragic indeed. To love a girl for many years only for her to not love him. He looked at the direction where Aphrodite and Ares sat. His eyes then snapped to the redhead in the corner, Rachel.

Someone who he had feelings for, acted on them once, kissing her. She now was celibate to be the oracle. He knew that she was happy in her role, and protective of Percy. Iris Messaging or messaging him, telling him about the smallest details of her dreams whenever he appeared in them.

Then came Calypso, the titaness who was cursed to fall in love with anyone who washed up on her island, she was hugging the elfish boy, Leo Valdez. He was happy for her, she deserved to be genuinely loved.

He knows that she loves him by the annoying look in her eyes.

Frank disappeared from his side to talk with Hazel. The music kept playing when a familiar cloud of green erupted from Apollo's and Rachel's mouth. Many gasps were heard and Percy nearly fell onto his knees, 'no more' he pleaded in his head.

"In bloodline pure, a savior shall arise,
To aid the chosen, where darkness lies,
Defeat the killer, their blood demands,
Love's refuge sought where gods have no hands,
For mother's side, their valor shall ignite,
As justice is deemed, for his blood and his lineage redeemed
A pureblood's journey, destiny's embrace."

Apollo gasped out and Rachel fell to the ground, the prophecy had taken a lot of energy out of her.

Percy looked straight ahead as he clenched his jaw, unconsciously he was clenching his hands as well. Glass broke and pierced his skin as some fell to the ground as well.

"Percy." A voice gasped out and he looked at his side.

"Lou." He whispered and put his head against her shoulder. They knew what it meant, his father looked with pity and anger and Hecate looked at him with resolve.

Once he had a relationship with Lou. But they broke it off, it wasn't meant to be. They loved each other, just not the way they each needed it. It wasn't meant to be either way. Percy looked at Lou's mother and he nodded to follow her into another room.

"I've got to go." He whispered, it was dead quiet. He clapped his hands and gave them a charming smile, "The fates have their destiny planned out for me in detail, it seems." He joked. The seven laughed at his dark humor, even though they all looked concerned.

"Continue the party, Mr. D!" He shouted before he walked out of the room. None of the demigods knew what it meant. They think it is a rather short quest that Percy will disappear off to before coming back to camp for the rest of the summer.

Hecate closed the door behind him and it looked like they were in a study. A huge round table portrayed the world as planets around in the rooms were hung up. Spoils of war were littered across the wall. "Lady Hecate." He said and bowed.

The goddess looked at him with pity. "Your blood seems to have it out for you." She said softly as she stood by one of the pillars with a torch against the wall.

"Nothing good comes from mixing the worlds." Percy said as he took a seat by the table. He was so tired. He hadn't returned to school and didn't finish his fifth year. He was going to turn seventeen, finally after two wars.

Hecate gave him an amused look, "You know what it means, the prophecy?" Percy sighed and nodded, after going on a quest every year in his life since he was twelve, he was bound to learn how to understand a prophecy.

"I'm going to help the chosen one. Defeat Voldemort and avenge my predecessor, Gellert Grindelwald." His voice got wistful, "Find love with no influence from the gods." He fidgeted with his hands, "Get some wicked kind of justice for my Gellert." He frowned a bit, "I don't know what the last one means, though."

Hecate nodded, "I guess that means you'll have to go to the chosen one." She shook her head, "Why the Fates would intermingle your paths, I shall never know." She sighed.

"The chosen one." Percy hummed, "Assuming from defeating Voldemort, it'll be Harry Potter, that I'll have to help." He said and sighed, "The press is going to just love that." he said sarcastically.

Hecate smiled at him, "Show me your wand." She ordered and the doors opened, only to reveal his worried father.

"Dad." Percy's breath hitched, the man walked over hurryingly and put a hand on his shoulder.

"My son." He said with a sympathetic voice as he squeezed Percy's shoulder. "You've managed to do it again."

Percy huffed out a laugh, "Somehow." He said and Hecate interrupted. "Holly wood," She said and looked up at him, "Fitting how you lead." She held it up to the light, "Thestral tail hair," She said amused. "Unruly, just like the sea. Fitting, considering your heritage."

Percy nodded a bit with a small smile. "Lord Poseidon, do you mind giving me a hair?" She asked. The lord of the sea looked a bit apprehensive of giving the witch a hair but he eventually reached up and plucked it out, handing it over.

Before she took the hair strand, she had a short metal in her hands. "What do you know of Atlantican magic, Perseus?" She questioned.

Percy cocked his head to the side, "What is it?" He asked.

"Powerful battling magic." She hummed as she pressed the metal and wand together, Percy had to look away as the light burned his eyes. She took the hair from Poseidon's hand and repeated the process. "Both offensive and defensive. With healing properties like no other."

Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Poseidon puff up in pride. "I wish you well at Hogwarts. You should know that things are being set in movement." Hecate warned him. "That is all the godly interference that I can give you, Perseus." She said and walked over to the door. "You're not just a wizard, you're one of the wizards."

Percy felt pride swell up in him as well, he then sputtered as she walked out of the door, "H-Hogwarts?" He called out after her, "I need to go to England?" He asked in an exasperated voice.

"Sounds like it, kid." Poseidon said as he handed him a small box.

"What is it?" Percy asked as he looked at the box, he shook it a bit and he saw Poseidon wince. The god gestured for him to open it, Percy carefully opened the sides and looked at it. "You got me a watch?" He asked, it looked like the one that Tyson made for him, years ago.

The watch's dial was different, Medusa's head was portrayed on it and as a hand they were snakes. Percy snorted in amusement, "You deserve recognition for slaying Medusa." Poseidon said, "Especially after that bold move of yours. Turn the top around." He ordered.

Percy turned the bevel and it showed a trident. "Your brother wanted to make something for you again, he was happy to customize it to my order. You know how it works." He said and Percy clicked the crown of the watch.

His breath hitched as he watched a trident unfold in his hand. "Father…" He said wordlessly. Poseidon just clapped his hands on his son's back.

"In wars, fathers have to see their son's get buried." He said with a distant look in his eyes, "I don't want this to be your third war, or final war."

Percy shivered, "Thank you, father." The trident collapsed and Percy kneeled down. "You've always looked out for me." He said quietly. "Thank you."

Poseidon just chuckled, "I am your father, Perseus. We protect our own."

Sally didn't like the thought of Percy being out of her reach. She looked over at her pureblood husband, "Paul." She called out, "Do we have family in England?"

Paul walked in with a baby cradled in his arms, "Not that I know of dear."

Percy looked at the small girl in his hands, "Estelle." He said softly and looked back up at his mother, "I will be fine, mom." He said with a smile, "You know I will be."

"You're going to a whole different continent, again." She said with a look in her eyes that Percy won't ever forget.

"I must, the prophecy has been spoken." In defeat, Sally nodded. "I need you to be safe at Hogwarts." She said. The mother had tried all summer to convince Percy to stay safe, near the gods and her in America. But he couldn't.

Percy smiled, "Home is the only safe place I know of." He answered and looked at his baggage. "I've got to go." He said as he picked up his bag, it was enchanted to fit everything he needed.

Percy felt Sally put a heartfelt hand over his chest, right where the family crest was. "Remember to not let it get to you." She whispered. The godling nodded as he apparated as soon as his mother let go of him.

He breathed out as he looked around, grass, a lot of grass. "Where to?" A voice said. Percy looked over at an old man. "London." The godling answered.

"Seventy galleons." Percy handed it over, his family was well off compared to others. "Step right in." The man tapped the bucket and Percy stepped in. He was sucked in by the bucket as the old man winked at him.

When he stepped out, it was clear as day. He subtly destroyed and disposed of the bucket and walked into the station. Heads were turning and after a moment of walking, someone fell into step with him. "Hey." The voice said, Percy turned and saw that she wore muggle clothes.

He decided to entertain the thought, "Hey." He said quietly.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Scotland." He replied, not really asking any questions back in return. The girl nodded, "I'm going to Manchester. I'm born and raised there, you're not right? I hear American."

Percy nodded, "Yes I am."

The girl smiled, "Cool, I've never met an american." A train whistles, "Can I have your number?"

Percy shrugged, "I don't have a phone."

"Fax?"

He shook his head, "Good bye, your train is about to leave." He said before he continued walking. He needed people to leave him alone. A small crowd stood around perron 9 ¾ and Percy stood behind them.

He walked in after all of the kids went and he was impressed at the train, a vintage locomotive. The red caught his eyes as he let someone take his stuff before stepping onto the train before it left.

Everyone was sitting in a compartment, a few wandered around in the halls, talking and catching up. Perseus sighed as he walked through the halls as well. A few people started to stare and he stopped by an empty looking compartment. He knocked and slid it open a bit, "Excuse me, could I sit with you guys?" He asked. The girl had long bushy hair, she was wearing casual muggle clothes.

She looked up and smiled, "Sure." She sent a warning look at her friends before the one with the red hair spoke up. "No you can't. Find another one." He said with finality in his voice as he stood up and closed the compartment.

Percy saw recognition in his eyes as he sighed and went to another compartment.

"What the bloody hell?" Ron said as he breathed a bit heavily.

Harry looked at him in confusion, "Why did you just do that?" Hermione wordlessly agreed with Harry.

"Don't you know who that is?" Ron asked as he looked out of the window, suspiciously. "That is Perseus Grindelwald." He said with wide-eyes.

Hermione's eyes lit up as she recognized his last name. "Grindelwald from Gellert, a dark wizard."

Harry fell back into his seat at the information while Ron sat back down, next to Hermione. "It seems like dark wizards are following you." He said and looked out the window, "We should keep an eye on him." The rest quickly agreed with Ron before continuing their previous conversation.

"I'm sorry but they told me that this is the last carriage." Percy said apologetically as he put a hand on the wood. He looked at the thestrals pulling it forward. He put his stuff by the reading girl and walked over to it.

'Hello sire.' It dropped down to its knees, Percy felt conflicted as he petted its leg, indicating that it should stand up straight.

Percy smiled and huffed, "No need to call me sire." He muttered under his breath, "Gorgeous." He complimented looking at it in awe.

"-is pulling the carriage, Harry." A girl said and Percy snapped towards the voice. He raised his eyebrows.

"What are they?" The infamous Harry Potter questioned.

"Thestrals." Percy answered, even though Potter wasn't talking to him. Harry hummed as he walked around the mythical horses.

"You're not going mad." The blonde girl said as she read the papers upside down. "I can see them too." Percy gave her a small smile. They all sat down and Percy was left the most outer seat there was.

He stared at his shoes as he imposed on the group. "Everyone, this is Loony Love-." The girl quickly corrected herself, "Luna Lovegood."

Percy frowned as he looked away, the girl with the bushy dark hair sat in front of him. He couldn't deny how pretty she was. When he heard her correct herself, he thought of the blonde. 'Loony', he liked how peculiar she was.

An awkward silence hung in the air as Percy looked up at the girl, only for him to notice her already looking at him, analyzing and observing. He felt the urge to compare it to the eyes of Athena but that wasn't it, it was more like Hestia. Observing him to know him, unlike Athena's, analyzing how to be ahead of him.

He gave her a small smile, "I'm Percy Grindelwald." He introduced himself quietly, and winced as the redhead pierced his eyes at him.

The demigod was tired of being defined by his last name, he knows that the man was a huge part of wizarding history but he would rather like to be defined by the present. The titles of champions that fell under his name, the duels he had won and how he was going to be an upcoming auror for the American Ministry.

"Hermione Granger." She introduced herself, looking a bit wary of him. She didn't hold her hand out for him to shake which is unlike the british. But anyone wouldn't shake the hands of Grindelwalds.

Percy just gave her a tired smile as the rest didn't introduce themselves. Hermione then complimented Luna's necklace, which turned out to be a charm. "Keeps away the Nargles." she said as she fidgeted with it.

He had heard of the pesky beasts before, he just had never witnessed them. Peculiar. Then she sat straight up as she looked around, "Hungry." She said, "I hope there's pudding."

Percy gave her a smile as her gaze landed on her, "I quite enjoy the occasional banana pudding." He admitted quietly. Other eyes landed on him as they silently judged him. He felt their eyes snap to his piece of white hair.

He clenched his jaw and looked away once again and sighed, he did let it get to him. Whenever he wins a duel for the national title, he would have enjoyed the attention if it was for his accomplishments, not his last name.

"What house do you reckon he'd be in?" The ginger asked, as if Percy wasn't sitting right in front of him. "I'm thinking it is Slytherin."

Percy's green eyes looked at him, "Why?"

"Because you're a bunch of pureblood supremacists." When the words came from his mouth Percy looked away and sighed. Typical. They don't know that he is technically both a half-blood and a pureblood.

While his divine DNA doesn't count, his mother's side is the only side that would make him human. Making him a pureblood. They won't be able to trace his godly DNA.

Hushed conversations were spread across the room as the tan black-haired Grindelwald walked up to the sorting hat along with the first years. He had to go last as McGonnagal called names. Once the kids were all sorted, Percy's turn.

The godling felt something probe into his head and he shook it, trying to keep it out. 'I'm trying to sort you, you godling.' A voice said in his head.

'Do you have to see my thoughts for that?' Percy thought stubbornly.

'I shall spread no word of your thoughts, not one person can access them.'' The hat spoke and Percy took a deep breath before allowing it through his mental barricades.

'Hmm, a tale of wars, fought and excelled. The pride of your blood and the cunning ability to survive.' Percy winced as he thought of the first war, he had killed for Olympus. 'A leader you became, guiding the way. Losing was no option because of your determination.' It sounded impressive. 'Hufflepuff calls for fierce kindness and loyalty, a struggle really. A dilemma of royalty.'

Percy casted his eyes at the afraid Hufflepuffs, they slightly cowered. Everyone wasn't talking, just staring. Percy took another deep breath, he liked positive attention. He had worked for it at Ilvermorny, now he had to work for it at Hogwarts.

'Yet, in the embrace of Slytherin, you could find your place. Ambitions burn bright at a determined pace.' it hummed and Percy cringed as he looked over at the Slytherin table, some were looking in anticipation. 'Cunning and strategic, forged in battles fought. A tactical machine.' Percy winced as he was called a machine, he had mourned for the losses, does that not show how human he is? 'A step ahead each play. Slytherin traits shine bright, guiding the way.'

Percy's breath hitched, 'Demigod placed in slytherin, reflection of their depth, a push to thrive amidst resourcefulness. Ambitions are kept along with a character so complex. And impact to be made, in Slytherin's realm, your destiny lies.'

Finally, the sorting hat called out in its booming voice, "Slytherin!" The whole table applauded but the others looked at him with a glance in their eyes, it wasn't fear, more like apprehensiveness.

"Damn." Percy muttered as he walked on over to the Slytherin table, along the way, his robes turning the color green. He was waved over by a few others, "I'm Draco Malfoy." The guy with white-blonde hair introduced himself.

Percy shook his hand, "Percy Grindelwald." He said and sat down facing him.

"Why don't you call yourself Perseus?" The guy asked. "It is more fitting."

Percy rolled his eyes as he heard the headmaster clear his throat, "Perseus is indifferent to everyone, Percy is a bit more personal." He explained as he turned to look, "The name Grindelwald had given me a lot of grief in the United States."

Draco squinted at him and turned to look at Albus Dumbledore as well, a hint of disdain in his eyes. Percy didn't really know where to place Malfoy. With the disdain in his eyes and the permanent sneer on his face.

The old wizard talked about the change in staff. He then introduced the newest teacher, a woman dressed in all pink, which is unlike the magical fashion in the United Kingdom. The woman kept giggling as Professor Dumbledore talked. It was disturbing everyone and his speech.

Percy cringed as the barbie took the stage to herself, prancing around looking like an angel. He knew better than that, he knows what sirens do and this woman does it to herself. Make her seem like a dear until you're stuck in her trap.

By the sound of her speech it sounded like the ministry is interfering in the affairs of Hogwarts. Many students at the other tables looked a bit apprehensive, while Draco seemed to be belated. "Do you have a father in the ministry, Draco?"

"He's an official." He said with pride. Percy nodded and plated some pudding. He turned around to look at the other tables and found Luna already looking at him, eating her pudding. He gave her a small smile before he accidentally made eye contact with Hermione. He swiftly turned around and ate quietly.

"The papers say that you're a dueling champion." Draco said, his friends around him uselessly looked at the blonde. As if it was some charming leader of a cult, the admiration was going to be weird around. He had only seen it in some demigods as they talked about Luke Castellan.

"Undefeated for four years." He added, and slightly beamed with pride. Draco looked mildly impressed as he still looked down at Percy. "I won the International title last year." That made him visually impressed as he nodded up and down.

"Your family."

Percy just sighed and shoveled a piece of pudding into his mouth, "What about it?" He asked, somewhat sharply.

"You all still purebloods?"

Percy nodded, "Yes, most. If not, some. We're with a lot." He explained shortly.

Draco scowled a bit but nodded. Everyone was wary of Percy, looking at him as if he was about to explode and lead a revolution. It was because of the song, he could hear a warning in everything. Some of them could too.

Eventually they were dismissed and Percy nearly flung himself out into the Black Lake as he realized that he had to share his sleeping quarters with Draco and his friends.

A/N: This is just a little side project of what I am doing.

The paring will not be changed.
