Daniel watched suspiciously as Ava chatted happily to Gary. It wasn't that Gary wasn't a likable person, he was quite pleasant. It's just that Ava didn't chat, especially with joyful people like Gary Green.

"Good morning you two." Daniel smiled suspiciously as he bumped his sister's shoulder.

"And what a good morning it is!" Ava beamed, embracing the younger man with a friendly bump in return.

"Agent Sharpe was just telling me about the baby." Gary gushed.

"Yeah he's a looker," Daniel agreed, "Walk me to class?" He turned to face the blonde woman who excitedly agreed.

The pair walked in a soft silence. Ava nodded gently at every agent she passed and Daniel watched his sister's actions very cautiously.

"What's up with you today?" He finally asked as they reached the large lecture hall. Some seats already filled with teachers pets.

"Can't I just be happy?" She blushed, pushing him away slightly as she peeked into the hall. "You got Hunter today?"

"No, Bennett." Daniel rolled his eyes, "Stop changing the subject!" He snapped, moving to stand against the wall next to his sister. "You get some last night?" He half whispered.

"Piss off!" She pushed him further this time, her smile still remaining to show him that she wasn't annoyed. "Sara and I went on a date yesterday." She admitted, her eyes lighting up at the mere mention of the blondes name.

"Ahh that would do it then." The young man smiled in contentment. "She looks good on you."

"Don't be weird." She shrugged, "Is it that noticeable?" A small wave of panic fell over her face.

"Maybe tone down the goofy smiles a little, sis." He laughed as he adjusted his satchel. "But I wouldn't care too much about what those idiots think. You deserve to be happy, Ava."

"I think I could be…happy with Sara." Ava whispered.

"Agent Sharpe, other Sharpe." Director Bennett greeted the pair, his voice making Ava stap to attention. "Don't you have a group of imbeciles to look after?" He looked past Daniel at the blonde, a strong look of disapproval plastered on his face.

"Right away, Sir." Ava nodded, taking her leave and heading straight for her office. Excitedly, she logged onto her computer, secretly hoping that Sara had been reeking havoc all morning and that she would have to join her on the Waverider to help her get things back to normal…but that wasn't the case.

Ava tried to keep herself busy all day. But the thought of Sara had kept her mind racing. Where was she? When was she? What was she doing? She could text, but she was afraid that was a little too…clingy for now. So could hail the Waverider, but she didn't want to intrude on her team. So she filed old reports and listened to Gary talk about his cat and jumped at every ping that came from her computer until it was almost time to call it a day.

"Agent Sharpe?" Gary knocked gently and peeked his head through the small crack in the door. "These arrived for you." He smiled excitedly, before opening the door to reveal a large bouquet of roses.

"Oh my…" She gulped as Gary sat the bouquet on her desk. Behind him she could see dozens of nosy eyes peering through her door, followed by the hushed whispers that followed. "Thank you, Gary. You can close the door on your way out." She smiled softly as the younger man nodded and obeyed.

Excitedly Ava grabbed the small card attached to the flowers and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the seal hadn't been broken.

'Thinking of your lips' - Sara

She reread the words over and over, her fingers tracing the letters as she lay back in her chair and smiled the biggest smile. She wasn't afraid to be happy with Sara, in fact she was basking in every moment.

Sara couldn't stop smiling. Even after Roy threatened the King of England and Nate dropped the Crown Jewels down a drain, she still couldn't wipe the smile from her lips. Yesterday with Ava had been a lot - emotionally - but it had all been worth it. And as she left Ava back home and stole one last kiss she knew in her heart that this was right, that they were right. She wasn't afraid to let her in, to see the real her. She trusted Ava with her heart…something that she's never done before with anyone.

"Good job today gang!" She sang out as her team stumbled onto the ship.

"Is she blind, deaf or dumb?" Roy hissed, his forehead drenched in sweat and his eye sporting a rather large bruise.

"She's in love." Amaya teased as she reached down to help Nate to his feet.

"She's delusional." Nate exhaled as he held onto the control panel for support.

"Was it our best mission? No! But did anyone die? Also no." Sara laughed, her wide smile getting on her exhausted team's nerves just a little. "Now, if you'll excuse me." She winked and happily skipped out of the control room and headed straight for her room. With a little time traveler's magic she was able to get a bouquet of flowers delivered to Ava's office around about now and she couldn't wait to see the look on the blonde's face…in person preferably, but she'd take what she could get.

"Gideon, hail-"

"You have an incoming transmission from the Time Bureau, will you answer?" Gideon interrupted, making the smile on Sara's face double in size.

"Right on time." She whispered to herself. "Put her on, Gideon!"

"Captain Lance." Her smile fell as a familiar English twang filled her room. "And how are we this evening?"

Sara's body stiffened as she turned to face Rip. His usual smirk was in full force as he scanned the room carefully. "If you've come to ask about my relationship with Ava then you can get lost." Sara stated sternly. She was over caring about other people's opinions when it came to who she loved.

"It seems we have more pressing issues, Captain Lance!" Rip nodded completely disregarding Sara's mention of Ava. Pulling out a small device, Rip looked over his shoulder at the blonde. "May I?" He didn't wait for a response as a red light filled the room in search of any unauthorized listening devices.

"What are you doing?"

"Looking for bugs, has she been in here?" He shrugged, moving closer to Sara's bed to make sure he gave it an extra sweep.

"Who?" She snapped, starting to get a little pissed off at this point.

"Agent Sharpe." Obviously "Congratulations by the way, she's a hard nut to crack." He smirked deeper, he would be lying if he said that he'd never thought of the blonde agent before, but alas his efforts were never seen as anything more than friendly mentoring.

"If only she hadn't been surrounded by toxic men watching her every move." Sara gritted her teeth as Rip finally stopped his search and fell into a nearby seat.

"Perhaps we should have a look into workplace discrimination, but first we have an issue Captain." He mumbled as he reached to fill himself a glass of whiskey. "They're trying to silence me, all of them." His eyes widened like a madman as he downed the drink in one.

"Who are you talking about now?" Sara snapped the glass and bottle away from him, she wanted a straight answer before she got rid of him.

Rip jumped to his feet, pacing the length of Sara's room as he ranted. "The bureau! But it doesn't matter, because I have my legends and you believe me, right?" He looked cautiously at the blonde. She hadn't seen him like this in a long time, not since he created their little band of misfits all those years ago.

"Is this about Mallus again? Rip, how many times are you going to fall down this rabbit hole?" Sara sat on the edge of her bed, her blonde curls falling over her hands as she buried her head in them.

"He's coming, Sara!" He shouted with a loud clap of his hands forcing Sara to look back at him. "And I'm not the only one who's after him." He teased, before pulling a crumpled up picture of what could only be described as Damien Darhk in bad period wear.

"Darhk…is this real or a pathetic attempt to get me on board with your ridiculous claim!" It was Sara's turn to pace, her grip on the picture causing even more crinkles in the paper.

"I thought we knew each other better than that, Captain Lance."

Crumbling the picture into a small ball, Sara threw it at the crazy man. "I don't want to be involved." She snapped. She had played along last time, followed him and his ridiculous leads for hours and nothing. But she couldn't do it again. Darhk was dead. And whoever this was…it wasn't him.

"Sara I need your help!" Rip grabbed the shorter woman, an obvious mistake as he was quickly shoved quite a distance away. "The whole world is doomed if we don't stop them! Everyone you've ever loved, everyone who's ever loved you will be gone. Ava, Oliver, your father…even little innocent Poppy…all dead." He shouted, his words stabbing Sara in the heart. She'd heard it before, the same manipulation tactic as every time before.

"Get out."

"You know I'm right about this, Sara…" He pleaded.

"He's dead, Rip! The man who killed my sister is dead!" Sara hissed, her eyes filling as the words left her mouth.

"I can bring you to him…I know when he's hiding." He promised, only making Sara's blood boil more. If what he was saying was true then that meant that he was letting Darhk live and seemingly travel through time without a second thought.

"Leave…before I do something you'll regret." She spoke softly.

"I'll be back tomorrow and I'll bring you to him, kill him now and your sister just might survive." Rip opened a time portal back to his mess of an office, but not before throwing a little retort over his shoulder. "Our little secret, right Lance? If the Bureau were to ever find out…well the consequences would be devastating for both of us." He really did think he had her on his side. But he was wrong, and the second that the portal closed Sara picked her side.

"Gideon…call Director Sharpe."

Sara hated this situation. Rip was her friend, her mentor…her Captain. And now she was ratting him out to Director Sharpe. She knew it was for his own good. He was spiraling and she couldn't pick up the pieces again. She'd done it before and it almost lost her everything.

The Time Bureau was too polished for Sara's liking. She remembered thinking that same thing the first day she walked in with Ray and Nate. That was the day she met Ava and the day the blonde had started invading her dreams at night. She didn't think anything would ever have come from, well anything past the inevitable one night stand. And now she found herself going out of her way to walk past Ava's office in hopes of seeing the blonde, even for a single fleeting second. But much to Sara's disappointment the office was empty, besides a large bouquet of roses sitting on the shelf next to Ava's desk. Sara stopped for a few moments, a shy smile planted on her lips as she gazed in at the carefully placed bouquet.

"Sara?" The blonde jumped at Ava's surprised tone, and she quickly spun round to face her. "Captain Lance…what are you doing here?" She corrected, trying very hard to hide the huge smile creeping onto her lips. She wanted to embrace the blonde, to kiss her, to drag her into her office and close the blinds…but she couldn't. Even an over friendly hello was too much for the amount of eyes that were planted on them.

"I have a meeting with mommy dearest." Sara teased in a hushed tone, her eyes darting around the room in hopes of scaring off the awkward stares of the bored Agents. "Walk with me?" She whispered, receiving a small nod from Ava.

"Snap, by the way." Ava mumbled after a few moments of silent walking. "Any idea what about?"

"Maybe…" Sara drew out, the small smile fading from her face for a second.

Ava reached out to stop the blonde in her tracks, pulling her into a corridor of empty offices just as they were about to reach Director Sharpe's. "What did you do?" She asked quickly, worry falling from her lips as she was afraid she had missed a huge Legends issue and now her mother was pissed, and thinking that she couldn't do her job properly, and that obviously she's distracted and that she can't stop thinking about Sara and - soft lips cut off Ava's internal rambling.

"Actually nothing, thank you very much." Sara whispered as they broke the small kiss. As cute as Ava's obvious spiraling was, Sara didn't want the blonde to worry about something that wasn't her problem. God knows she was worrying enough for the two of them.

"I'm sorry…thank you for the flowers." Ava whispered back, her fingers tracing along the hem of Sara's red t-shirt, testing the waters before dipping under the fabric to touch her blazing hot skin.

Sara leaned in to place a flurry of soft kisses on the agent's neck, as she whispered. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about you, Ava." She kissed her way up to Ava's ear, as her hands snaked under her blazer and began to pull on her shirt trying to pry it from her trousers.

"Me too." Ava breathed heavily, as Sara's hand slipped into her trousers. "We shouldn't be doing this at work…"

"Do you want me to stop?" The blonde asked as she teased the outline of Ava's underwear, wishing they weren't in the Time Bureau and instead locked away in Sara's room, lost in space together.

"God no!" Ava pulled Sara closer, their bodies joined together so tightly that Sara's fingers pressed harder against Ava's core. In a swift turn, Sara spun the pair, tucking Ava into the corner so that any agent that would happen to pass would only witness a heated kiss and not what Sara had planned for the trembling blonde. "Sara…" Ava tangled her fingers in Sara's hair as her fingers slipped under her underwear and into the warmth of her core. Ava was in pure bliss, her hands trembling as Sara moved in and out of her in a practically perfect rhythm. She couldn't care where she was or who could possibly find them at this moment…that was until she heard her Mother's door swing open. "Stop…" She whispered, a request that was instantly granted by the blonde, who looked up in concern, but didn't have a chance to move or talk when she heard.

"If you two are quite done." Sara has never moved as fast. In a flash she was out of Ava and standing stiff against the wall, praying to god that Pam hadn't seen exactly where her hand was moments before. "My office. Now." She stated sternly.

"Fuck!" "Shit!" The two blondes swore as they spared a worried look at the other.
