Ward led the girls to the test track where they joined the back of the queue. The wait was not as long as Ward thought it would be, but when he had researched Disney World, this ride appeared to be one of the favourites. Once he had told the others of the plan, Fitz-Simmons practically demanded he test the specs they gave him, which meant he had to go on the ride.

As they realised that this was to be some alone time with his sister, this was the compromise, otherwise, everyone would have wanted to go.

Slowly, the queue in front of them was whittled down, and once more they were at the start of the queue.

An empty car appeared in front of them, and the three of them climbed in the front, with Tilly in the middle.

They fastened themselves in, and the car moved forward. They were met by a guy, who was checking that their seatbelts were fastened correctly. Once he declared them safe, he sent them on their way.

Their car travelled the track, with neon lights and signs.

Suddenly, their car went from moving slowly, to moving fast, and then faster. Tilly spent this time looking at her brother with an eyebrow raised. He looked back at her and mouthed "sorry".

Once they were at the exit, Ward helped both girls out of the car, before leading them to the station where you input the specs of the car you designed. It would then test the car on a virtual track.

Sarah, not knowing much about cars, or combustion engines, input the numbers on impulse and was not shocked when her car crashed on the first bend.

Tilly, with her science background, managed to get into the top 10 track lap times at number 6. Ward, having input the specs he was given, was not surprised when the virtual car went flying around the track, whilst maintaining control. He wasn't surprised when Tilly was knocked down to 7th and his car took the top spot with a whole 30 seconds clearance between him and 2nd. When prompted to add a name, he entered Fitz-Simmons.

He took a step back and took a photograph of the screen, which he then sent to Fitz-Simmons.

"How fast was that thing?" Sarah asked when he was done.

"About 70 miles per hour" Ward said.

"Seemed faster than that."

"I drive faster than that, with more hairpin bends." Tilly pointed out.

Ward chuckled as he remembered what she did to Carl and Toby. "Not everyone was taught to drive in an armoured truck though." he then pointed out, before adding "That was a compromise ride for FitzSimmons. I am sorry, it's not as fast as I was led to believe.

"You don't say" Tilly said, the sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"We have a few more hours left. Why don't we eat, and then do one or two more rides?" Ward suggested.

"Well, what does everyone fancy?"

"Burger will do me." Sarah said

"Tilly?" Ward asked.

"Sounds good"

"Lets go and find a place where we can get a burger."

After they had eaten, Ward took them to the American Adventure, which he argued would allow their meals to settle a little before going on any of the rides.

Halfway through the show, Ward saw Tilly yawn, which prompted him to check the time. It was much later than he thought.

When they got out of the show, Ward told them that they only had time for one more ride.

By mutual consensus, they headed to the Mission:Space ride, electing to take the orange mission over the green mission.

They walked through the simulation of 'ground control' and, when it was there turn, they sat on some benches in front of a monitor. When all of the seats were taken, a video started playing for them, giving them a brief outline of their mission to Mars, safety precautions and other relevant information, including which role they were expected to fulfil on the ride.. when it was done, there was a video showing them that they had to get to their seat on the ride, put any of their belongings in the container in front of them, before securing themselves into the seats. They were also told that they should keep their heads back, and eyes open as not to disorient themselves. they were also expected to press the buttons and move the joystick when indicated to do so by them lighting up.

Sarah was between Tilly and Ward, and realised that this ride wasn't built with space between people in mind. As soon as they were all strapped in, the console that they were to use moved towards them, making Sarah even more uncomfortable.

The ride started. they were all being spun around, slowly at first, and then getting faster and faster until they lights started being illuminated on the console in front of them. They were being spun with such centrifugal force, that even Ward struggle to raise his arms to press his required buttons.

Sarah risked a glance at Tilly, and immediately regretted it. The force being thrust upon them was so great, that looking anyway but forwards was enough to make you feel sick. Fortunately, their flight to Mars was being played out in front of them on a screen. After what felt like a lifetime, but in reality was only a couple of minutes, the screen showed that the parachute needed deploying.

The person whose responsibility it was to deploy the parachute did so, and they all felt that they were being thrown backwards under the significant weight. The ride then slowed, and became bumpy as they descended to earth. When they eventually landed, it was with a huge force, replicated in the ride, and the joystick in front of everyone lit up and indicated that it should be pulled back. The reason for this was obvious. They were on a precipice, and the only way they would not drop off the edge was to redirect the thrusts by pulling their joysticks backwards.

As they were on terra-firma, all three of them let out a breathe that they did not know they were holding.
