It had been one week since the announcement Evol made to the world of the walls that will separate the four kingdoms which serves as a precursor to his agents to act and then the devourer of the world. While the populace has been recovering by the ongoing noose over their necks, things have eerily gone silent. Mayhap due to world learning Evol had a son whose mother was a Faust defect and an archaeologist who first discovered the box in the modern age but leave it due to having the child in question when she previously couldn't.
Magic had existed in a bygone era and now three were left. Evol. Lily. Cody.
Ozpin took a deep breath to ease his headache. He was in the elevator with Goodwitch, Qrow, Ironwood, and Winter. The Schnee had been stable enough to resume her tasks but what he saw was a woman whose pride and dignity was utterly crushed. The tense air she held and the discomfort.
Once within the headmaster's office, Ozpin took his seat as the silence drew near before he took a deep breath to let everyone soon speak what's on their minds.
"… Well we know Evol has two more lapdogs." Qrow cut the silence. "And there's two weeks left before he brings up the walls."
"And we're still believing that… 'boy' will be our key to stop Evol?" Ironwood questioned as he was the most impatient of them all over this. "Now the whole world knows Evol has a child."
"I know you're scared James. But we must have faith in some way." Glynda responded, "You have seen it time and time again that brute forcing yourself and your military is only making things worse."
"And the more we wait, the more time we won't have left before we are all dead!" Ironwood snapped, only to flinch from seeing their annoyed looks before he composed himself. "Is there any way we can learn from the boy and make some weapon for him to use against Evol?"
"Not unless you are an expert in Blood tech." Qrow saw the puzzled looks. "What? Evol calls himself a Blood Tribesman and with all that stuff he made? I thought it made sense."
"How is it when you're drunk, you always know the proper ways to make things sound good?" Winter shook her head.
"He isn't wrong on the name." Everyone quickly looked at the railing, seeing Soichi drinking a cup of coffee while Lily quietly stood by him, her lilac eyes not looking at them.
Everyone looked ready to fight, yet held their ground as Ozpin stood up.
"What brings you here again, Evol? More taunting? More death?"
"Man, no hello or warm welcomes?" Soichi stepped down the stairs as Lily followed behind him.
"Given how you have the world hostage? We wouldn't be inclined to be 'friendly' to you, bub." Qrow frowned with a swig of his booze. "You threatened everyone's damn life."
"Funny coming from a family of bandits who kill, pillage and other things."
"You son of a-"
"Qrow, don't." Ozpin warned. "I'll ask again… what brings you here this time?"
Soichi drank his coffee and sighed in content. He set it on the desk. "I'm a nice guy so I decided you all to have a weekend of fun."
Qrow's gaze didn't waver, "And whats the catch? Going to send 50 enemies on the kid?"
"I will continue my work afterwards." The Blood Tribesman shrugged. "The kiddo still has to kill six more of my Lost. He has already been busy since the world learned he was my kid. Kinda surprised me too."
"Yeah… who wouldn't thought?" The veteran rolled his eyes, "Can't wait for him to beat you at your game."
"Yeeaaah, he can't." Soichi chuckled. "From where I'm standing? The power difference is way too far. Adding with magic, overkill."
"Then why have him kill your own people who become Lost Smash?" Ironwood questioned with confusion.
"Sacrifices are made by blood, Jimmy cricket." The lifeform mused. "Besides, Cody's Hazard level will be increasing once he has to kill my former council members. Beta is still screaming her head off at me so I'm waiting on that."
"Father of the year, material." Qrow rolled his eyes.
Lily snorted slightly.
"So! I'm giving you guys a friday-sunday vacation! And to make sure you knuckleheads don't stab me in the back like my council tried," He patted Lily's shoulder, the girl tensed albeit slightly. "She will make sure of it as my liaison/emissary."
"Like we could do anything to stop you." The Huntsman huffed.
"Atta boy! You get it!" The alien clapped in joy. "Any harm to her, I will pop up and wring your necks. And that isn't a joke."
"Like I said, like there's anything we could truly do to hurt her." Qrow repeated himself.
"Qrow, shut up." Winter gritted. Her ice blue eyes warily stared at the teenage girl.
"Now, I got some errands to do and a cafe to clean up! Ciao~!" He vanished via snakes whereas Lily remained, staring at them.
"Did he seriously leave her in the office?"
"Get used to it." Lily scowled slightly. She turned around and threw several objects into the ceiling. The orbs unfolded, revealing small drones that act as cameras via her technokinesis Semblance. "Lord Evol told me to do what I want. I know who each of you are and I don't care. All I want is silence."
Qrow looked ready to make a quip, but the glares of Glynda and Winter made him hold back for once, knowing not to push it any further.
"Would a small chat be fine, then?" Ozpin requested to the attendant.
"A chat? With me? … Are you stupid?"
"Just a moment of your time and mind is what I only need." The headmaster requested.
"Oz you can't possibly-!"
"I just want to chat. I have no intention of trying anything stupid… I've lived long enough to learn that much." Ozpin pointed out as he really just wanted to know this lady more, maybe even have some hope to give to her. The girl had a connection to Vernage the Saint. He can feel the faint magic within her slowly moving, as if she had been resting ever since she resurrected Lily.
"… Fine. You have five minutes."
"What is your goal?" Ozpin asked her, making sure he asks as much questions as he could need.
"To ensure Lord Evol sheds his skin to achieve his true form."
"But is that what you want? You'll die just like everyone else here." Ozpin pointed out, "So why proceed and go along with it?"
"Our oath is we are bound by blood. With blood comes sacrifices."
"Yet as we can see, even his own blood isn't worthy for him to care." Ozpin reminded, "Or was you breaking that boy to near death more for yourself?"
The air thickened as technological blades appeared above them. "That is not your business to ask how I feel about him."
"True. But given how much we have seen? I have doubts that it's more than just business. Especially with how much the young man you despise so much… still wants to save you."
The agent's fingers curled into her palms. "He needs to give up on it. My hatred isn't your problem nor is it the fact you are trying to get me to open up. Lord Evol saved me from the streets."
"Saved you or made you believe that he could erase all of your problems?" Ozpin said, dodging an air slash to the cheek.
"Says you, Ozpin or is it the other name my lord told me? A name your allies do not know."
"Oz?" Qrow glanced at the headmaster in confusion. Ozpin had another name?
"It matters not who I am… but what I can teach." Ozpin noted. "Just know whatever you seek? You're only going to find pain and suffering."
"Says a man who made the greatest mistake in ages." Lily stood up. "A world made by your sins from the very start."
Ozpin's grip on his cane tightened. "True… I may have… But I'm attempting to make amends… Can the same be said about you?"
The rider scoffed and made her way to the elevator. "I look forward to seeing how your allies react when they learn the real truth you hid from them. Hiding it is worse than showing it." The doors closed upon her warning.
"Ozpin… what did she mean by that?"
"It's nothing… just more confusion and paranoia…" Ozpin said, despite his grip on his cane shivering. He knew Evol had told his organization everything. Of course the snake would have seen everything and watched the events. Evol wanted him to see what will happen to his circle when they learn the truth. The real truth. And Lily had just planted the seed.
He could only hope that this new war will end soon before all hell breaks loose.

Within Team RWBY's dorm, Weiss and the other girls looked as they saw something surprising. Yang giving Cody, a lap pillow for him to rest on.
"So… why did you bring him here again?" Weiss questioned the busty blonde. "Doesn't he have his apartment to live in?"
"He… went through a big ordeal…" Yang responded, her eyes unwilling to take off of the sleeping boy's form, "And I just want to give him some peace for once…. He needs it."
"For what? It's been several days since that incident and people are still talking about him being Evol's son."
Yang froze for a moment, "Well… it was that…" She pointed out to them. "He kinda just… broke down upon learning he was that snake's son. I couldn't just leave him there to wallow in that. So I brought him here instead. So he could have some comfort."
"Would he like something nice to eat?" Ruby asked, as the scythe user was holding the robot dragon in her arms.
"He-" Murmurs grew louder which irritated the blonde. "Can one of you please find out what the hell is going on through the window?"
Weiss pushed herself up and checked but when she did her eyes bulged. "G-Guys… t-tell me that it isn't her?!"
Everyone except Yang looked from the window and saw what Weiss saw. Walking on school grounds, students frantically avoided her, was Lily. The students who saw her avoided her due to one: Evol's right hand. Two: she was a merciless killer who had also held Winter hostage.
"What's going on?" Yang asked.
"Lily is on the campus…" Ruby gulped.
"What?! Why?!" Yang gasped, but tried to hold back her worries and anger from waking up the sleeping blonde.
"How should we know? But it can't be good if she's here!" Weiss noted as she too was angered and worried that the girl who almost killed her sister was walking freely on the campus. Their Scrolls suddenly received a notification in which they checked.
"The School dance will resume as intended?!" Ruby gasped. "I-I thought they canceled it after that fiasco Evol caused!"
"Maybe he went on vacation?" Yang shrugged.
"Or intended this…" Blake grimaced. "We all know how he acts. The only reason he would let us have this… is to crush it right after."
"So what do we even do? No matter what, we just keep playing into his hands!" Weiss held her face, unsure what to even do at this point.
"Just savor it." The girls froze and shakingly looked at the window and noticed Lily perched on the windowsill. "And in case you wondered I wasn't blind to not notice you three looking at me."
"If you're here to make him even more hurt than he already is!" Yang glared, eyes red as she seemed ready to fight to protect Cody.
"Save your Semblance elsewhere Brawen spawn."
"What did you call me?!" Yang snapped, now ready to actually fight.
"Got a problem with it? Isn't your biological mother and uncle from a tribe of killers?"
"And? That doesn't make me her!" She cocked her fist.
"Punch me and your weekend fun will immediately end and Evol will tear you apart." Lily warned. Yang gritted her teeth and lowered her arm.
"Then what do you want?" Blake asked.
"Lord Evol granted us and you people R&R. I'm merely here as an acting emissary and liaison. You have your fun, I just make sure no one does anything funny behind our backs."
"More like a babysitter…" Weiss frowned.
"Who is holding the noose and having Evol on speed dial. So be careful what you say, Schnee." Lily then asked calmly. "How is your sister nowadays?"
The heiress looked away bitterly.
"Do you have to be this mean?" Ruby spoke up, earning Lily's attention.
"Pardon?"
"All you're doing is burying your own feelings…" The huntress continued. "It just feels like you're lashing out because Cody is wanting to move on and do the right thing…"
"The only right thing he ever did was ensuring Evol succeeds. Otherwise? He only causes problems."
She slipped over the windowsill. "… And I'll be slightly more merciful after that incident when the psycho scorpion ambushed 801 and I." She hopped down.
"Did… she just try to make an apology?" Weiss questioned the others. "And what incident?"
Blake remained quiet, her amber eyes drifting to where Lily left. The statement was directed towards her.
"I don't trust anything from her.." said Yang. "To talk like that to me about my family…" To be called a spawn from a tribe of killers… it hurt her.
"Tell me about it…" Weiss huffed, arms crossed as well.
"So… the dance is still good?" Ruby perked up, trying to get everyone off of what just happened.

Lily stared at the ceiling as night waned. Tomorrow was Friday which started the three-day R&R. The room had nothing but a bed and her necessities. No decorations. No posters around it. Just plain and moderate as intended.
She enjoyed the fear that the students and people had upon seeing her freely walk the school grounds. They knew not to trifle with her and how powerful she now was. Yet… she began to realize she still felt empty. Instead of pride or respect, she didn't feel any different, just more empty and alone.
'Stop hiding your pain Lily… please.'
The bluenette turned over in the bed, ignoring the voices again. The voice she heard so many times.
'You can repair your relationship with him… You can still have your own freedom too….'
What freedom was there for her? As a child she was starving and trying to survive in the streets. She had nothing but the rags on her back.
'You may think he saved you… but he didn't. Don't you remember who took care of you when you stole the loaf….'
Lily curled slightly. That memory… stealing the bread from a… woman with silver-white hair and emerald eyes. She curled further into a fetal position.
No… it was Evol, he saved her. She…
'You're wrong… He's keeping you as a slave… As his servant… Please listen to me…' the voice whispered. 'Please… remember my name.'
Lily muted the sounds around her, the pillow her head rested against gaining the tears that fell from her eyes.
She just wanted some peace for once….

Cody groaned softly as he opened his eyes, realizing he wasn't in his apartment this time, but a… dorm room? He remembered fighting two Lost Smash recently before tiring from the constant realization he was Evol's son. He moved slowly and sat up, rubbing his eyes.
"Feeling better?" Yang asked him.
"Yang? Where…"
"You're in Beacon. I… kinda dragged you all the way here when you beaten those two Lost Smash the day before. I couldn't let you be alone after that."
Cody was taken back from how she didn't leave his side after finding out the truth. He truly was flabbergasted over how she still is keeping her promise to not let him be alone.
"Thanks Yang… that… That really means a lot." The blonde thanked the brawler as he was grateful to her friendship.
Yang smiled back, brushing her hair back a bit, "Hey, a Xiao Long doesn't break a promise."
The Dragon Rider chuckled slightly but noticed the unease in the air. "Did something happen?"
"Lily. She's here in Beacon…"
This though made him frown, "Guess I should get going… Don't want her to cause problems here as well…" He said, about to leave.
"It wasn't because of you, dummy." Weiss sighed, earning his reaction. "She was here to inform us that the Beacon dance is still going to happen, since we've been given a three day rest from Evol's plans."
Cody was stupefied from hearing this. "He… is giving us a three day break?" He questioned. "Just like that?"
"Yup. Just like that."
"... Is he going to blow up something?" Cody asked, not believing Evol's words for one moment.
"How should we know? That was all that we know. A simple three day of enjoyment."
"Guess I'll have to find out…" Cody sighed, about to get up and walk out to investigate, only to be stopped by Yang.
"Oh no, mister! Since our dance is happening. You're coming." The blonde brawler said, denying him from fighting again for now.
"Hah? Why do I need to be there for some silly dance?" Cody questioned.
"Silly dance?! Seriously?"
"What? I've seen people dance at Junior's club so it's the same thing here isn't it?"
"Ugh! No it isn't! This is something important for us at school's! It's a party! A chance to make things fun and have something to remember!"
Cody blinked with confusion from her explanation, "Sounds boring…" He said to her.
"…."
"Hey Weiss." Yang called.
"Yeah?"
"We still have to set up decorations for the dance right?"
"Yes, why?"
"Excellent! Cody, you are helping us!"
"What? Why should I-" He was cut off as Yang soon tugged his ear, causing him to wail in pain from it. "Owowowowowowowow!"
"No excuses buster! You are going to enjoy the fun we students of Beacon are going to have! With the fiasco, we are going to make this school dance worth the lifetime!"
Yang soon pulled the boy by his ear out the dorm room leaving the other girls there, stunned from that moment.
"Well, at least they aren't fighting. Right Crossy?" Ruby chuckled softly, trying to lighten the mood as she looked down at the dragon in her arms. It merely shrugged.

Soichi was eating popcorn from his seat, watching from the various screens Lily set for him to watch. Don't worry he had been running his errands for the Box while letting the good boys and girls have their rewards. He relaxed in amusement, chuckling to see the brief rise of positivity people were having… before he smashes it into pieces.
He snapped his fingers, ordering a Guardian to raise a tablet. "Report: White Fang activity has been increasing in Mt. Glenn with brief sightings of delivery of explosives. Requesting Inquiry."
"Handle it and make sure those bombs are dismantled. Next!"
"Delivery of the two Lost Fullbottles, successful." It continued.
"Excellent… Next!"
"Report from an agent named Cinder has revealed possible injection of virus into the CCT you designed to occur at midnight tomorrow." Soichi immediately spit the popcorn.
"Who the hell uses those things nowadays?!"
"Answer: Possible agent of the black witch."
"Mou… that witch really is making things annoying…" Soichi sighed. He stretched and popped a few joints. "I'll let Lily remove that when it is implanted."
"Affirmative."
"Anything else? Sheesh, I need something amusing for me!"
The Guardian checked the tablet. "Experiment 931 is helping contribute to the Beacon dance you allowed."
"…." Soichi stared before he chuckled and then laughed. "Despite moping about being my kiddo, it seems the humans who don't hate him are living him up. Let him have his fun. Boyo deserves it too." He paused and expanded a screen from the corner. Outside the crimson dome over Eden was a small jellyfish-esque Grimm. It was scouring around the shield's borders.
It was trying to find a gap.
Sadly, there were no gaps unless he allowed it.
"Let me see the Scroll." He took the tablet and tapped a button. It was complete silence before the water the Grimm hovered on burst in a geyser, fueled by his magic to erase it. "Ahh, gotta love water mines."
The Guardian stared. "New Report: Faust Agents ambushed in Mistral."
"Eh?"
"Report states bandit ambush led by woman in black and red. Weapon type: odachi."
"Ahh… looks like my boyo's girl's mother is finally making a move." Soichi noted, "How did she fare against them?"
"…."
"Oi, how did it go?"
"Inquiry… They encountered unexpected resistance. Leader casted magic." Soichi immediately composed himself. "Soldiers' survived: 2, Cargo 1 destroyed. Cargo 2 destroyed. Cargo 3, stolen."
"My, my! Seems she has more spunk than I thought. But I wouldn't expect less from a bloodthirsty Brawen." Soichi said with amusement, "Anything truly valuable lost?"
"…. The Panel you were locating."
Immediately the air darkened around Soichi. "Repeat that."
"The Final Panel was stolen. However the crate it is in cannot be opened unless by your command."
"So the lady thinks she can take it huh…" Soichi stood up before thrusting his fist through the now decimated Guardian's head. The machine collapsed and the Scroll caught in Soichi's other hand. "Guess I'll have to introduce myself to her, then…" He whistled loudly. "Get me another drone here and a ship to Mistral! I'm going on a field trip!"

If there was anything Cody wanted to say about setting up for the dance… it was a lot of work. He had to help move the heavy stuff whereas the girls did all the lightweight! Thankfully they finished! He was flat on his back, relieved there was no more work to do in the preparations. "Finally…"
"Alright! Get up, we still got something left to do?"
"You four made me carry all the heavyweight!"
"I mean, other than Yang, you are the most physically strongest person around…" Ruby pointed out.
"Plus, I carried you all the way here! This is just a fair trade." Yang agreed to the logic.
"How is carrying several stereos and equipment a fair trade to one person?!"The rider snapped as Yang whistled innocently.
"Ugh… just what else do you plan to have me do…?" Cody groaned out.
"Oh, this last thing isn't much. Just need to get you something fancy to wear." Yang pointed out.
"Huh?"
"Cody, you gotta wear something nice for the dance. That is the whole point!"
"I said I'm not going to some silly dance!" He argued with her. "I am putting my foot down right here. There is absolutely no way I am going."
"You don't want to have a dance with me?" Yang asked, somehow looking upset and ready to cry, "I only wanted you to do this so we could have a nice dance together. Something fun for once and show you our end of the glass?"
"Now look what you did, Cody," Weiss facepalmed.
"How is this my fault?"
"You never turn down a girl's invitation." Blake shook her head.
"Not like it happens the other way around."
"He kinda is rig-" Ruby spoke up.
"Don't finish that sentence Ruby." Weiss stopped her.
"Can't you do this for me, for just this once?" Yang asked, batting her eyes softly to him.
"…." Cody's brow twitched. The way Yang was looking at him was making it more difficult. He closed his eyes but his brow continued to twitch and they swore he was going to pop a vein. "Okay! Okay! Fine! I'll go to the silly dance…"
"Yes!"
"But how exactly, since it is for the students and faculty?"
"Oh, I know a way to do it." Yang smirked playfully. "Trust me, you're going to love this dance."
"Greeeaaaat..."
He wasn't sure how he felt about this. He soon felt Yang's arms hook around his as she dragged him once more, this time towards the town to get this 'fancy suit' he will have to wear.
"Is this truly necessary?" He questioned her.
"If you are going to a dance, yes." replied Yang.
"Ugh… this is going to be a long day…"

He hated when he was right. The fact the shopping took nearly the entire day and the constant choices Yang insisted on him trying, honestly it felt like he was being spoiled like a little kid, which he is not! Thank you very much! Now, they were on the final stretch as Yang quoted for him with the completion of the purchases. Oh he tricked Yang but to his utter bewilderment she actually paid for it… and revealed it was his Lien, not hers.
Clever girl he had to admit.
It was now a Saturday evening, the day of the school dance.
Cody groaned as he tried to pry off the necktie on his suit. He felt like a dressed monkey in this as he was now wearing a nice navy blue suit with a fiery necktie. "Why do I have to wear this…" He grumbled.
"Because it's proper attire."
The rider turned his head to see Yang there, but for once he was stunned by her look. She was wearing a golden yellow with white trimmings for the frilly dress, but had a sleek look to it as it was truly a dance outfit alongside her highheels and her hair tied into a side ponytail.
"Looks like I just took your breath away." Yang giggled from his reaction to her. "Never seen a girl dressed like this?"
"N-No…"
"Well, I'm flattered to hear, I'll be your first dance partner and girl in a very pretty dance." She winked before walking over as she placed her arms around his, "Trust me, you're going to enjoy this."
"I-If you say so." The Rider followed along with Yang, the two exiting the dorms and towards the auditorium. As they were in the exterior halls, Cody could briefly see the eyes on him which made him uncomfortable. A few students whispered to one another when they looked at him before resuming their walk. He was reminded everyone knows his status as Evol's hybrid son.
Everyone on Remnant knows…
"Just relax. I know you're concerned with what people think of you, but I assure you that you're welcomed here." Yang reassured the boy, knowing how he feels due to him tensing up.
"I.. just…" He tried to say something only for Yang to stop him as she placed her finger on his lips to silence him.
"Shh…" She said softly with a smile, "I know you're worried about making more trouble here. But I promise you, you'll be safe here just like in your apartment. Trust me, okay?"
"… Okay."
The brawler smiled and progressed to the entrance but as they entered, they heard whispers but it wasn't directed at Cody as their eyes aimed behind them. A few people alongside the duo looked back to notice Lily. She wasn't dressed in her usual attire she had always worn.
Instead it was a black dress, the sleeves puffed out with jagged white cuffs. It left her shoulders exposed while the end of the dress reached down just a few inches above her ankles. A pair of dress heels was seen on her feet. Her wild blue hair was let down, still obscuring her left eye but the priceless golden band that had always kept her ponytail in place was seen on her wrist.
"Lily…?" Cody gawked as even he was a bit taken back at how pretty she looked from this. "What… are you doing here?"
"Evol wants me to have fun much to my chagrin." Lily rolled her eyes slightly. "And with the majority of school gathered here, my job as ordered by him."
"Here I thought you wouldn't be in a dress." Yang scoffed.
"Says the daughter of a killer."
"What was that, terrorist?" Yang glared, eyes red once more.
Suddenly a blur of red appeared and Ruby waved her hands. "C-Can we not fight?"
"She's right." Weiss walked over, "We all want to have fun. And that can't happen if you two dolts, butt heads against each other!"
"…." Lily scoffed and pushed herself through the four in annoyance. They heard a few words muttered under her breath that was only for her to say to herself.
Weiss sighed and rejoined in the gathering of the students. Ruby whined in dismay. "She almost ruined it…"
"Just ignore that girl, Ruby." Yang drawled.
"Hey don't just shrug it off like that! You could've just kept quiet too!" Weiss scolded the brawler.
"Sorry… Just hard to accept being around her after everything…" Yang apologized.
"Don't screw up the dance. We understand why and we don't like it either."
"Yeah, yeah… No need to remind me." Yang sighed but nodded as she did understand.
"Maybe it was a mistake for me being here?" Cody spoke up, "She probably wouldn't be here if I was elsewhere." He said, once again attempting to flee.
Yang pulled Cody back to her. "No, you said you were coming to this dance and you will abide by it." She admonished.
"This is a chance for everyone to unwind for once." Blake added, coming into view, "We can only try to relax and just be ourselves for once."
"Oh Blake, I take it you accepted Sun's invitation?" Blake mumbled but no doubt embarrassed.
"Just this once… I too will try to relax and unwind…" She responded, most likely not wanting to be here but agreed nonetheless.
"Atta girl!" Yang patted her partner's back. The Faunus elicited an exasperated sigh and went back. "Now that the others are occupied, time for us to have our spot!" She gripped the fellow blonde's arm and dragged him.
"H-Hey! Easy now!" He cried out comically as he followed her lead.

Lily stared at all the students who were enjoying their time in the dance. Others were having punch. Her? She was seated and there was no one in her zone. The two tables are empty. Chairs all but ghosts. The drink? Hmph, all for herself. Lucky her. Her visible eye stared at Cody who was nervous as he danced with that blondie. Emphasis on dance when there were times she swore Cody nearly stepped on Yang's feet.
She thought his embarrassment and clumsiness would cause the fellow blonde to be angry, yet she rolled it off and showed him an easier way, making them still close to one another. Lily was confused as to why that brawler would be so easy with him? He messed up. He stepped and practically hurt her, yet she shrugged it off and showed him a different way.
Her grip on her cup tightened. The more she stared at Cody, the familiar envy rode. For him to have his fun. His own freedom. For him to have support and… 'friends'. She didn't understand how they could accept him so easily. He's Evol's son! He left many people behind to flee! So how could they just accept him like that so easily?
Her grip increased before the cup was crushed in her grasp, spilling the punch onto the floor. She gritted her teeth, almost grinding them. She wanted to attack Cody more than anything… but Evol reminded her of her last/second chance. She didn't want to lose it.
For now, she'll hold back these bubbling emotions. She knows she'll get her chance and finally be rid of these building pains she has gained for the past several weeks.
A napkin was presented to her, making her look up to see the smoldering eyes of the Cinder woman.
… ah right, Evol told her Cinder was being tested given she is a 'late' recruit.
"It would be best to be presentable, no?" Cinder inquired. "Can't be too careful if anything stains." She walked on. Lily stared and caught on to Cinder's statement. She unfolded the napkin to see a message.
I have to implant a virus into CCT. Evol wants you to remove it once my task for Salem is done upon implant."
Lily took notice as she pocketed the napkin, making sure no evidence could be found for this as she will fulfill her duty. She briefly saw Cinder wave to her and exited the ballroom.
Thus the plan goes into motion.

Right now, she was making her way to the Cross Continental Transmit System Tower to get what she needed. She was now wearing a black infiltration outfit, which she had previously sewn together. The outfit consists of a sleeveless jacket, long gloves, stiletto heel boots, a black glass mask, and several straps with containers of powdered dust lined across her pants.
When she made it to the location, she stealthily approaches an armed guard before she knife-hands the back of his head, rendering him unconscious. She then drags him behind some bushes before entering the building.
The moment she entered, some of the guards took notice of her as she approaches. "Excuse me, no one's allowed in this area." The guard informed. However, Cinder continues her approach, making the guard now on alert. "Stop!"
The soldier had no choice but to open fire when Cinder does not heed his warning. However, she manages to overpower him by attacking him before using his gun to take out another soldier that was approaching. She then throws him against the handrail as two more soldiers rush towards her. Cinder's suit glows a bright orange before forging a pair of black blades from fire Dust and trounces the two guards.
In the elevator, two of the guards were looking over a Scroll. "Hey, man, do you know the Wi-fi password?" He asked.
"It's Beacon, but replace the E with a 3 and add a pound symbol to the end." The guard answered.
Once the elevator doors opened up to show Cinder, one of the guards notices the fallen men outside. Both guards grow apprehensive as Cinder casually walks onto the elevator, the doors closing as she turns around with thrashing sounds being heard outside of the elevator.
After a couple of minutes, the elevator opens as Cinder was examining the scroll while the two guards were knocked out.
"Oh! That's handy." She commented. She pockets the scroll and walks out of the elevator and towards the control consoles.
Cinder placed in the Scroll as the monitors lit up. She typed a few buttons before implanting the virus. "It's done. You can do what Evol told you."
"Got it… wait, did you tell anybody else?"
Cinder raised an eyebrow under her mask. "No. I assure you, I have told only you."
"Then why is that Rose entering the elevator?"
"Wait, what?!" Cinder gasped with surprise, soon taking evasive steps as the door opened, with Ruby walking in.
"Hello?" Ruby stumbles due to her high-heeled shoes. "Is anyone there? Hello?"
Deciding to amuse the girl, the disguised Cinder made herself known.
"Excuse me? You know, it's not a masquerade party, so why don't you take off that-!"
Cinder, in her disguise, produces a container of glass dust as she uses her semblance to turn it into glass shards and sends shards flying at the first year. Ruby squeaked and evaded the projectiles. Ruby grabbed her precious scythe and aimed but paused to a ding of the elevator. Just as she turned around, she was met with a swift yet strong backhand. She whined, looking up to see Lily.
"Just couldn't help but be a little hero, huh?" Lily huffed.
She stepped over the girl, approaching the console and used her Technomancy Semblance to withdraw the virus and onto her hand. The said virus is molding into the shape of a Queen piece. She tapped the chess piece in her palm to observe the contents.
"Hoo? Have to admit, this virus was well made." Lily praised the contents of the virus and how it functions. "Seriously? To eavesdrop and manipulate the system? Evol can do that without a virus."
"Well not everyone has magic like you two." Cinder noted with a slight chuckle. "Some of us, must go with other methods."
"Lord Evol is extremely intelligent to bypass everything without… this." She crushed the physical virus.
"Well, sadly I have to do what I can." Cinder shrugged before looking to Ruby, "And what do we do with this little pest?"
Lily walked over and knelt down, holding Ruby's chin.
"Leave her. She isn't worth anything. She will forget this ever happened… and security will find only her resting against this secure console."
Ruby was confused but felt blue mist seep against her. There was a ring on the agent's finger. Her mind was becoming hazy before falling unconscious.
Why not show them even an innocent little rose can 'cause' mischief.

As the dance began to wind down for a more calmer motion, Cody was doing his best to slow dance with Yang as he was following her lead, still confused on if he's getting it right. "Sorry if I stepped on your toes again, Yang."
"It's your first dance. Of course you'll mess up a bit." Yang reassured him, "Still, you're a quick learner. You sure you haven't danced with a pretty girl before?"
"I'm sure since I was stuck in a cell most of my life."
Yang gave a sheepish smile.
"Yang..?"
"Yeah?"
"What did… Lily mean by you being… a daughter of a killer? Was it a jab or something that is true?"
Yang flinched as she turned away, "It's… just something… I don't feel ready to share yet." She confessed to him.
"Am… I just not that trustworthy?" He asked her, feeling hurt.
"N-No, of course not!" She quickly assured him. "It's just… It's very complicated Cody."
"I mean… so am I. Yet you trust me.. You believed in me when I wasn't sure myself…" Cody admitted to her, "If it wasn't for you Yang… I don't think I'd ever have this life now."
The buxom blonde chewed her lip. To tell him about her mother… Ever since her uncle came to Beacon after the Serpent's Shedding, he told her more behind the Brawen Tribe. Something that had shocked her… and made her upset at her uncle.
But it made her wonder just how much of that was also due to her mother leaving her father and herself all alone. Did she do it cause she hated them? Because she didn't want them to follow her? Or did she even care about them?
"My mother… she's…"
"Ms. Xiao Long." Yang noticed Goodwitch with a bitter gaze. "I need you to come with me."
"Did I do something wrong? I-If it's about the hole I made in the food fight weeks back, I swear I fixed it as you told me!"
"No… but… your sister might've been…" Glynda revealed. "She's been arrested for conspiracy against Remnant… and could be working for Evol and Faust now."
"WHAT?!"
This was another day of turmoil and concern. As yet again, the venom of this alien snake has coursed through the mind of the people. One that now made a certain group be suspected for something they have done.
Just what else, is Evol and Faust going to ruin?

Anywho! The dance moment! Changed of course, along with some added things to it, to make it different from the show. Of course there's still a lot of surprises in store for this, and I hope you all will enjoy it?
Until then, be well minna!
