Apollo stood by the side of the road, staring off into the distance as he waited to see Athena's cab arrive at the office. He offered to come and get her, but she insisted he save the extra cab fair it would have cost him to make a round trip and she would meet him at the office. And as soon as she'd sent him a message earlier this morning saying she was on her way, he'd been waiting just outside the office for her to arrive.

He'd been in a daze ever since she left, slowly getting more upset with himself for causing this to happen in the first place. It didn't matter that his intentions had been good; it didn't change the fact that he should have told her about the office right away. If he had, she could have decided before she even left home whether or not she would be comfortable staying with him. If she decided that she didn't want to stay at the office, she could have postponed the trip until she found somewhere else. But she didn't because she trusted his judgment and decided to take his back-up plan without him ever telling her what it was. The last thing he wanted to do was make her feel trapped, but with his convoluted way of handling the situation, he'd accidentally done just that.

But then when he had more time to think about it, he realized that it probably would have turned out like this either way. Before he even brought up the back-up plan idea to her, she'd already insisted that she wasn't going to postpone the trip, no matter what. She knew how much he needed help and was willing to stay in a hotel until she could find somewhere to live. And that was what ultimately had brought him to bring up the back-up plan in the first place. So, at the end of it all, her decision to come here regardless of the circumstances would have led to this in the first place. No matter which way he looked at it or how he tried to rationalize it, her living in the office with him is where it would have ended up no matter what.

But that didn't change the fact that he'd upset her by waiting till the last minute to tell her. Even if this was the way things would have ultimately turned out, he still should have told her ahead of time so she could mentally prepare for it. It would have avoided her feeling like she had to leave abruptly and stay at a hotel to clear her thoughts.

Then, all of his worries were put at ease when she texted him the night before. She must have gotten the time she needed to come to terms with it because she was suddenly more excited than anything to stay with him. Not only did it ease his guilt, but it reminded him that he shouldn't have been in this much turmoil in the first place. Living together would certainly bring challenges, but it was nothing in comparison to everything else they'd already conquered together. They would get through it, just like they always had.

At least, that was how he felt about it as her best friend. The personal side of him wouldn't let him forget that, no matter how prepared he was to live with her as coworkers and friends, it did nothing to prepare him for the challenges he would surely face as he lived with the woman he loved.

When her cab pulled up to the office, his muscles stiffened and his heart leapt into his throat. He knew it might take some time before he stopped reacting this way around her, but he didn't want those feelings to get in the way right now. He wanted to put all of his efforts into helping her settle in. And that would be difficult if he couldn't stay calm every time she was near him.

When she exited the cab, she waved at him with a bright smile. "Hey, roomie!"

The word made him flush. It was amazing how she could go from being so unsure that she needed to leave to feeling so comfortable with the arrangement that she was embracing it like it was the most natural thing in the world. Her ability to bounce back never ceased to amaze him.

"H-hey," he offered back as she retrieved her bags from the backseat. He thought about offering to help, but he'd already learned the previous day that it probably wasn't the best idea. He was already having a hard enough time keeping his emotions in check and didn't want to embarrass himself again. Instead, he walked over to the driver and paid him for the fair. He saw Athena out of the corner of his eye, looking like she was about to try and stop him, but then seemed to change her mind. He wasn't sure what made her change her mind, but he was at least glad that she let him do this for her.

"Okay, show me to my room, Mr. Landlord!" Athena said as the cab drove away. He was also amazed by her new found talent to come up with new things to call him that made him feel older than he was. This was the perfect example of why he'd been so against her seeing his room; she already came up with enough of her own ways to tease him and the last thing he wanted to do was give her more.

"Yeah, sure," he said as he headed for the door. No matter how strong and capable she was, he felt it was rude to make her stand there holding her own bags. He entered the office and stood off to the side as he held the door open for her. After she came in, she went to stand near the rooms as he closed the front door. He went to the room right next to his and opened the door for her, swinging it open but not going inside.

When Apollo and Datz first moved into the office, Datz quickly made himself at home in the room to the far right. Apollo didn't particularly care which room he got, considering they were all the same, but he knew he didn't want the one that was right next to Datz. He wasn't sure why, but Datz struck him as someone who might snore loudly or make a lot of general noise when he slept. Apollo didn't want to have any more trouble sleeping than he already did, so he chose the room to the very left, leaving the only available room being the one in the middle. It was the only unoccupied room left for Athena to take. This entailed a lot of things that he hadn't even considered until the night before when she confirmed that she was going to live there. Though he was never able to confirm or deny that Datz was a loud sleeper, he felt guilty that the one who would have to suffer through any problems that arose would be Athena. If it became a problem at any point, he already planned to switch rooms with her. No matter how excited she was to stay here, he wanted to make sure he did everything he could to make sure she was comfortable. That was already enough reason to give him doubts about letting her take the room in the middle.

But on top of that, the idea that Athena would be sleeping in the room directly next to his from now on would surely keep him awake at night. Just the thought alone made his face flush and his knees weak.

"We just went with the bare essentials," he said as she went inside. He watched her as she set her bags on the floor and started to look around the room, but he didn't set foot inside. Though she had yet to get settled, this was her room now and he would stay away from it, giving her the space and privacy she deserved. "I… didn't know what you were bringing so I just went with the basics." He remembered her mentioning that she didn't plan to bring any furniture, but that was the only clue he was given to what she might need if she stayed here. So he just covered the necessities, setting up a bed, a wide, medium-sized dresser and a small bedside end table. He would gladly get her anything else she needed, but he hoped it would suffice for now.

She seemed happy with it, grinning his way. "It's perfect! I can't wait to get settled in!"

He was planning to get some work done while she unpacked and made herself comfortable, but he knew he had something more important to do first. She might have been happy and ready to live here, but that didn't change the fact that he made it harder on her than was necessary. And he refused to let himself make any more excuses; he needed to apologize.

"Athena." He tried to say her name with confidence, but he must have let off an emotion he wasn't aware of since Athena's smile faded and she looked at him with a concerned frown. He paused for a moment to make sure he got the words out correctly. "I'm sorry."

Her frown deepened. "For what?"

His shoulders drooped a bit. 'Please don't try to be nice to me.' He knew she was just trying to ease his worries. Whatever emotion she picked up in his voice must have made her concerned so she was trying to act like she didn't know what he was talking about. But he wasn't going to turn away anymore. He wanted to avoid a repeat of yesterday as much as he could, so he decided to just tell her like it was. "I… should have told you about the office right away. I shouldn't have waited till you got here to mention it." He paused, and he saw the frown on her face smooth out a bit, like she was still concerned but was still ready to listen. "I didn't mean to trap you. I thought, you know, if I waited then you might find a different place and I wouldn't have to say anything at all. I didn't want to make you feel like you had no choice, but, then you kind of didn't have a choice, and I thought maybe-"

He stopped as he saw her start walking towards him. When she reached him, she poked her finger against the middle of his forehead, looking into his face with a bright smile. "You worry too much."

He blushed at how close her face was to his, but he managed to keep his composure. "Huh?"

"Don't worry. I get it."

He paused for a moment, just watching her smile at him. "… You do?"

She backed away from him, putting her hands on her hips and assuring him with a grin. "Of course. There's a lot of things to consider when making a decision like this. It would have been weird if you didn't have a hard time with it."

Athena spent most of her time joking around and having fun, giving the impression that she didn't have a care in the world. It made it easy to forget that she had her own hardships, especially with her ability to hear people's hidden emotions. Despite how hard it was on her, she used it to better understand what people were going through and do what she could to help them through whatever they were feeling. She might sometimes give the impression that she thought everything was a game, but in reality, she took everything very seriously. Despite how well he knew her, there were times that he forgot this. Then she would remind him by easing his worries in a way that no one else could.

"Besides..." she started, and he saw her smile fade. She used one hand to grab her opposite arm near the elbow, something she only did when she was upset or felt guilty. It had been quite a while since he'd seen her do that so his concerns were instantly raised. "… I'm sorry, too."

"What?" Apollo asked, feeling genuinely surprised. "But you have nothing to apologize for."

She put her hands back on her hips, but instead of smiling, she had a bit of a small frown creasing her brow. "No, I do. When you invited me to stay here, it took me totally by surprise. All I could think about was going somewhere else so I could think about it on my own. But I should have told you that before I left instead of letting you worry. I could tell it upset you." She looked at him apologetically. "I didn't mean to make you worry. So, I'm sorry that I overreacted."

It was true that her sudden departure scared him; he was beside himself as he tried to figure out what he needed to do to fix it. But hearing her not only forgive him but also be apologetic for her part in the situation, it not only made him feel better, but reminded him how strong their friendship actually was. It was something that he took for granted, so it was nice to have a reminder once in a while. "No, it's fine. I'm just… glad you came back."

"Awww!" she said, flashing him a big smile, her saddened mood suddenly shifting. "I was only gone for one night and you already missed me!"

And just like that she was back to her old antics.

"I'll… uh…" Apollo started, suddenly feeling like he needed to take a break from how often she made his heart race, "...let you get settled in. I'll be at my desk if you need anything."

"You got it, boss!" she said, waving at him as she slowly closed the door.

His face flushed as he narrowed his eyes at the closed door. Even if she only did it when she was trying to tease him, he didn't think he would ever get used to her calling him 'boss.'

He went over to his desk and sat down in his chair after he turned his computer on. He sifted through a folder he'd put on the desktop and starting entering the information into the computer. Though he'd managed to get all of the physical paperwork filed, he had yet to get it all down digitally. Not only would having two separate back-ups of the information insure that it was never lost, it also added the convenience of looking things up quickly instead of having to pull a folder every time he needed to check something. Though he still planned to bring hard copies of information and evidence with him to court, it was nice to know that he could check for little things with a simple search when he was at the office.

In addition, keeping busy was the best way to distract him from the fact that Athena was getting settled in to her new life with him.

He wasn't sure how much time passed before he heard her door open. He looked away from his computer and watched as she walked briskly over to him, coming to a stop right in front of his desk and smiled brightly at him. "Okay, all settled in! I'm ready to start working!"

"Huh?" It wasn't a strange thing for her to say but it made him feel confused for some reason.

"Work, silly! What do you want me to do first?"

Then he realized why her question didn't sound right. He never planned on having her work today, preferring that she get settled in as much as possible. He didn't want her to feel pressured like she had the day before so he was going to give her the whole day to settle in. "Oh, um… You don't need to worry about that today. Just do whatever you need to get settled in."

She frowned a little bit, like she was disappointed by what he said. "But I'm already settled in. Besides, I don't want to just do nothing while you're clearly working."

He paused, not sure what to say. She couldn't be settled in already; she just got here. He wanted to make sure she had enough time to prepare before he started giving her tasks to do. "… Can you really not think of anything else you need to do?"

She turned her head away with a thoughtful look, tapping at her earring. "Hmmm…" She perked up, like she suddenly thought of something. "Oh, I know! I need to find a route for my morning jogs! Do you know of any jogging routes around here?"

"Uhh…" He knew he had a reputation for being someone who didn't really exercise. The most he ever did was go for a walk when he had extra time or needed to clear his head, or ride his bike if he had somewhere he needed to be. But he hadn't really done that much since he got here, having no time to do anything but get the office up and running. She knew this about him, so he wasn't sure why she thought to ask him this question. "...Have you ever known me as someone who would know of a jogging route?"

"Well, no," she agreed. "But it's not like I was expecting that you used one. I just thought maybe you heard of one."

"...No, sorry."

She grinned at him, not seeming bothered by this. "That's okay! I'll just find one for myself. Is there maybe a public park somewhere around here?"

"Oh, uh… yeah. There's one a couple of streets down from here."

"Great! Then I'm gonna go secure a jogging route." She turned and walked briskly towards the front door, waving at him. "See ya later!"

He got a sudden sinking feeling that made him jump out of his seat. "Wait!" he called after her as he hurried to stop her from leaving. He reached her just before she tried to open the door, grabbing her wrist to hold her back from leaving. She stopped and turned to look at him with a confused frown. "What's got you so worked up?"

Though his face flushed from the second time he initiated physical contact with her, he didn't let go this time. He was genuinely worried that, if he let go, she would take off and get lost. She wasn't familiar with the area and, even if she was, she would probably still lose her way. Even back home, she still sometimes managed to get lost on routes she used on a daily basis. The reason? Sometimes she would miss a turn and try going down a different road to wrap back around, leaving her suddenly having no idea where she was. Of all her strengths, a sense of direction wasn't one of them. "You don't know where you're going! You'll just get lost."

Instead of insisting she would be fine like he expected, she gave him a mischievous grin and said, "Okay, then why don't you come with me?"

"Huh?"

"Yeah!" she said like she thought it was the best idea she'd ever had. "That way, you can show me where the park is and I won't get lost on the way home!"

In truth, he wasn't sure why he didn't think of that already. He would need to show her around at some point, and this seemed like as good of a reason as any. At the very least, going with her to insure she didn't get lost spared him from spending the rest of the day worrying while he tried to find her.

"Uh… okay," he said as he let go of her wrist. "I'll be ready in a minute." He went to get his wallet and keys, then went back to where she was waiting. He locked the door behind him after they both left and they started walking side-by-side down the road.

Apollo wasn't sure why he was feeling so nervous as they walked. It wasn't like they'd never gone on a walk together. When they both still worked at the old agency, they went on casual strolls fairly often when there wasn't much work to do. The first time it happened was on a day when work was particularly slower than usual. Athena started complaining that she had too much energy to sit there and do nothing, feeling bored with the lack of work to do. She said she was going to unwind by going for a quick walk, and she invited him to go with her. Not feeling very up to it, he just told her she could go by herself. Then she insisted that he should go too, saying that it would be good for him because he didn't exercise very much. Even when he tried to defend himself that riding his bike to work every day was considered exercise, she insisted that it wasn't enough. She was right, since his home wasn't far from the agency, but he didn't like to admit it because that meant he had no excuse not to go with her. So in the end, he relented and went with her. And he ended up wondering why he resisted in the first place because they had a good time. After that, it ended up becoming a semi-regular occurrence. And after they'd grown to become friends and started spending time together outside of work, they almost always chose to walk when whatever they had planned for the day required travel. It went from something he tried to avoid to a regular part of spending time with her. And yet, walking down the road with her right now, it somehow didn't feel the same.

Then he realized, it was because it wasn't the same. Instead of taking a walk because they needed to unwind from a boring day of work or were spending time together on a day off, he was showing her around the neighborhood where they were both living together. It made their situation feel more real, and he was having a hard time believing it. So much had happened in the last few months, so much so that it was almost a blur. And now, he was in a position he never even imagined. A few months ago, he never would have guessed that he would be moving to another country to run his own law agency. That was already unbelievable enough.

But if someone told him that he would be living under the same roof as Athena, he would have thought they'd lost their mind.

When they got to the park, they walked along the paved path that circled around the entire perimeter. Athena became excited, exclaiming that this was perfect for jogging. Even though Apollo already knew she went on a daily jog, he still couldn't figure out how she had the energy to jog along a route this big every day.

"Oh, that reminds me!" Athena suddenly said as they were about to wrap back around the path. "Do you have any orange juice?"

"Oh, uh… yeah," Apollo answered. He learned a long time ago that she always had orange juice after she went for a jog. "Not very much though." It reminded him that it had been a while since he did any kind of food shopping, so the stock at home was getting a bit low. He tried to go to the store for some essentials when he had time, but he'd been so busy lately that he hadn't had the chance. He'd mostly been depending on the apples that Datz always seemed to be bringing home.

"Then let's go get some right now! You can show me where you do all your shopping. That way I'll know where to go when we need something."

"Uh, sure." He could think of some things that they could use right now. And the more places he showed to Athena, the less likely she was to get lost when she started going around town by herself. That alone was enough reason to stop by. "I've been going to this one market a little ways down from the park. We can go there." Not only was it close enough that he could get there in a short time when he rode his bike, but it was a full store. It carried just about everything, unlike the scattered mini-marts that only carried a select few.

"Sounds great!" Athena agreed, sounding as excited as ever. "Lead the way, roomie!"

He narrowed his eyes at her. As weird as it still was for her to call him by anything but his first name, 'roomie' was at least not as hard to get used to as 'boss'.

When they entered the store, Apollo grabbed a hand basket from the pile that was set near the front door. He knew they couldn't buy more than the two of them could carry between them, but it wouldn't hurt to get a few more items than he normally did.

When they started walking down each of the aisles, occasionally selecting an item from the shelves, it suddenly dawned on Apollo how this looked. He suddenly became very aware of where they were and what they were doing. His heart rate gradually started to race and his face became so flushed that he felt the need to loosen his collar. He knew how this would look to anyone watching them right now. He knew that wasn't what was happening, but to anyone watching, that's exactly how it looked.

But he wouldn't let himself finish the thought. If he did, he was sure that his knees would start shaking so much that he might not be able to walk. He just focused on what they were doing, listening to Athena when she spoke and answering the occasional questions she asked. He knew it made no sense for him to be nervous. They'd already been in stores together plenty of times before, whether they were getting something to drink when they were spending time together on their days off or they were getting something for the agency when they were going on one of their strolls. This shouldn't feel out of the ordinary so he had no reason to feel anything but casual about it. Athena was treating this like it was no big deal, so he could surely do the same.

Except that wasn't true at all. No matter how hard he tried, he could never treat this like it was no big deal. Not with the way he felt about her. There were times where he thought he might have seen glimpses or maybe some hint that might have suggested that she felt something for him. He knew they were more than likely a product of his wishful thinking, but he always held out a small bit of hope that there was something there, no matter how small. But seeing her now, acting the same way she always did, not seeming aware or bothered by how they appeared at the moment, it all but confirmed that she didn't reciprocate his feelings. Though he already knew this was the case, it hurt more than he expected.

Athena pulled something off one of the shelves and showed it to him. "Hey, you like stir-fry, right?"

"Oh, uh… Yeah, I do," he said after he read the label. He couldn't remember when, but at some point he learned that stir-fry was Athena's favorite dish.

"Great!" Athena said as she added it to the items she was carrying. "I always add a secret ingredient when I make this." She grinned at him. "We'll see if you like it that way."

He suddenly felt so warm that he was certain someone must have turned the store's thermostat up too high. If grocery shopping after they just moved in together wasn't enough to make any passerby think they were a couple, Athena saying she was going to cook for him certainly did.

After they paid for their items, they split the bags between them and left the store. On the way back, Apollo finished the explanation he started about how Khura'in's currency, the dahma, worked. Before Athena moved here, he'd already explained the basics to her so she would know where the limit was for her budget while she was apartment hunting, but actually buying something at a store gave a visual aid that seemed to clear up the remainder of her questions.

When they entered the office, they saw Datz kneeling by the door to the backroom. Apollo realized that he must be installing the door stopper when he saw the wrench in his hand. Datz must have heard them enter the room, and he stood up and waved at them.

"Hey, there they are!" Datz greeted them. He momentarily looked at the bags they were carrying. "I was wondering why the office was empty when I got here!"

'The real question is where you were this whole time,' Apollo thought. It wasn't like he kept tabs on Datz; he might have been employed there, but that didn't mean he needed to know where he was at all times. With them living in the same apartment, his job as a handyman didn't really have a schedule. He just worked on things here and there at whatever time of the day was convenient for him. This was fine with Apollo, considering that there wasn't always something that needed to be fixed around the office. But since Apollo was currently suspicious that Datz was secretly fixing something he broke, he couldn't help but wonder if that was why Datz had made himself scarce this morning.

"Hey, Datz!" Athena smiled to greet him back.

"Hey, there she is!" Datz said, raising one thumb up with a big smile. "Are you settled in this time, AC?"

"Sure am!"

"Great! Glad that was all taken care of." He put his hand on his hip and looked at Apollo. "AJ was lookin' pretty pale after you left. I thought he might faint there for a while."

Apollo narrowed his eyes at Datz, certain that his face was anything but pale at the moment. 'Don't tell her that…'

Athena chuckled. "What can I say? It's just that easy to miss me."

Datz laughed. "I'd say that's an understatement!"

Apollo didn't want to continue being the center of a conversation that only existed to embarrass him, so he just glowered at Datz. "Don't you have a door stopper to install?"

"On it! I'm just about done," Datz said, then went back to his task.

"Come on, Apollo," Athena said, drawing his attention to her. She smiled at him as she held up the bags she was holding. "Show me where all this stuff goes!"

"Uuhh… sure," Apollo said, and they both went into the kitchen. While they put the groceries away, Apollo showed Athena where everything in the kitchen was kept so she could more easily find what she needed in the future. He made sure to cover any little details she might need to know, like how the water in the sink heated up really fast and to be careful because it could get particularly hot. Once everything was put away and Apollo believed he covered the tour, they both headed back out into the main room.

Athena put her hands on her hips and smiled at Apollo. "Okay then! Now that I have a secure route, I'm gonna go for a jog!" She started heading towards her room before Apollo could say anything. "I'm gonna go get ready."

"H-hold on!" Apollo said, following her halfway across the room before he stopped. "You only saw the route one time! You might forget how to get back!"

She entered her room and turned to look at him as she stood in the doorway. "It's fine! What better time to memorize it than while it's still fresh in my head?" She waved at him then closed the door.

Apollo just stood there and stared at her closed door. He knew he needed to stop getting so worked up over things like this, but until she had a better grasp on the neighborhood, he wouldn't be able to stop worrying that she would get lost. He knew it was a little unfair to treat her like she couldn't figure it out on her own; she'd gotten to where she was now on her own and had been finding her own way for years. She was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. And yet, all his mind could think of were all the times she managed to get lost when they still worked at the agency. It was understandable when she first started working there, but even after she'd been there for months, she still got turned around every once in a while. One time in particular was when she'd been working at the agency for almost a year, so her route was well established by that point. But one day when she was an hour late, everyone started to get worried. It was rare for her not to be at work, but if she had some reason she couldn't be in or was going to be late, she always let them know, so her lack of a call had them all worried. Since they decided they'd waited long enough, Mr. Wright called her to see if everything was okay. Turned out that she accidentally passed her usual turn and got lost. When she was asked how it happened and why she didn't just call them for help, she admitted she was stubbornly trying to find her way back on her own because she was too embarrassed to admit that she'd gotten that lost after taking just one wrong turn.

And now that she was about to take a jog on a route she'd seen only once, Apollo worried he'd be spending the rest of his day looking for her.

"Man AJ, what's up with you?" Datz said as he walked over to where Apollo was standing. He was spinning the wrench in his hand between his fingers, smiling at Apollo. "You're fussin' an awful lot over a jog."

Apollo turned away from Athena's door to give Datz his full attention. "No, it's not that." He paused, suddenly feeling like he was being called out for worrying too much. "She just gets lost really easily. I only showed her the way one time, so I'm not sure she has it memorized just yet."

"You showed her the way?" Datz asked, now tossing the wrench in the air and catching it repeatedly.

"Yeah. She asked me to show her the park so she could plan a route for her jogs."

"Wow!" Datz stopped what he was doing to look at Apollo with surprise. "You mean she got you to leave the office for something other than work?" He raised both of his thumbs. "That's amazing!"

Apollo glowered at Datz. "Not really," he said, not appreciating the insinuation that he never left the house unless it was absolutely necessary.

"Sure it is!" Datz said. "She got you out of your little shell!" He gave Apollo a big, toothy smile. "It's like she's the perfect match for you!"

For just a moment, Apollo was so surprised that he was sure he misunderstood what Datz said. Then when the implications of the words dawned on him, his heart started thundering so loudly that he was sure everyone in the office could hear it. "W-What?"

"Yeah!" Datz said, not seeming to notice Apollo's reaction. "Not only is she a great lawyer, but she's like…" He paused for a moment, putting his hand on his chin as he thought. He smiled brightly at Apollo when he seemed to think of what he wanted to say. "The ray of sunshine that parts your little cloud! Who better to work for you than someone who can do both of those things?"

And just like that, his nerves began to calm. He already knew hiding his feelings for Athena wouldn't be easy. He would constantly worry that something he did or said might give Athena a hint and she would learn of his feelings by accident, especially with her ability to pick up on people's hidden emotions. But he'd felt this way about her for quite a while now, and she had yet to act like she noticed at all. At first, he thought it was possible she was just pretending she didn't notice in order to not bring it up, but it didn't take him long to realize that wasn't the case. He'd already seen the way she behaved when she learned of a secret she wasn't supposed to know, and she wasn't the best at hiding it. Ever since he started feeling something for her, she never acted any different than she ever did, so it reassured him that she wasn't aware of his feelings for her. But a problem he never considered until now was the idea that Datz might notice Apollo's feelings for Athena. When Datz momentarily seemed to be suggesting Athena as the perfect romantic match for Apollo, he was worried that his old friend had noticed that Apollo saw Athena as more than a friend. Though it had been a false alarm and Datz was simply saying that Athena made the perfect employee to work for Apollo, it still brought on the idea that Datz might notice something at some point.

And if he did, Apollo wasn't sure his old friend would know how to remain quiet about it.

Before Apollo could respond, the door to Athena's room opened and she hurried towards the front door, smiling and waving at them. "See ya later!" She was wearing a gray tank top and shorts, both lined with yellows stripes and a pair of gray tennis shoes that had yellow accents. Apollo opened his mouth to say something, but she was gone before he could form a word.

He just spent the next few moments staring at the door, hoping that she would at least not wait an hour to call if she got lost.
