The two demons that Muichiro sent were frantic, wait... Ecstatic would be a better word to describe the feelings the two demons had.

It was the first mission that Muichiro, their new lord, has asigned them, and they wanted to complete it at any cost.

The mission consisted of bringing him alive the demon responsible for the weird flowerly demon art that caught their lord's atention. Both demons already had an idea of who the owner could be, but it was better to take some precautions first in case it wasn't the demon they were thinking of.

Yahaba, the demon with eyes in the hands, was able to locate the demon by following the path their footprints left behind.

His eyes let him see some things that the human eye can't usually see, that's perfectly representated in his blood demon art, where he can make some invisible arrows that only some demons are able to see, making him the perfect demon for a mission that requires stealth.

Something that is useless with the partner he got for this mission, because Susamaru isn't the best choice for something like stealth, she just tends to invade and attack, making Yahaba wonder how she has not got caught and slayed by the slayers yet.

Soon, they found the place where suposedly the demon was hiding, it was inside a house in the outskirts of the city, it was hidden by a illusion blood demon art, making it look as if there was nothing behind an imaginary fence, but it could not fool Yahaba's eyes, he could see the siluetes behind the ilusion, so it was as clear as the moon to him that there was something beyond that fence.

This was where Susamaru intervened. She throwed a Temari ball, at the invisible wall, and heared that it hit something, whatever it hit, it revealed a house behind it, and a broken piece of paper in the floor.

That was their clue that they were on the right place, Susamaru now aimed her Temari ball, with Yahaba's invisible arrows, to the room where the people in the house were.

They soon could notice that there were three demons in that room, and a human boy with hanafuda earrings.

There were two female one and a male, one of them had a bamboo muzle and looked too young to be their target, the other had purple eyes and a flowerly kimono, and the male one looked angry at them.

All of them were staring warily at them, but they had a feeling that the demon they were looking for was the older female one, and it wasn't just because of her kimono, the male one looked to be too atached to her, and the younger one didn't gave them the feeling that she could have already unlocked her blood demon art.

That means that the older female one was their target, but that didn't stop them from voicing outloud their objective, so now they have the slayer ready for the battle that is to come.

They didn't knew why a demon slayer would be risking his life to protect a demon, but they had the feeling that it had something to do with the demon with the muzle, they looked like they were siblings after all.

It didn't took too long for the battle to begin, the tension was growingby each second that passed by, making the minutes feel eternal.

The first to attack was Susamaru, she created more temari balls and throwed them at them. Tanjiro was quick to react and tried to cut them in half, but he didn't expected them to sundently change directions and attack him from the sides.

Yahaba was using his arrows to change the direction of the temari, taking full advantage that the slayer couldn't see them to make the most damage posible.

It kept going like that for a while, and even if the slayer was able to cut some of them in half, he still redirected them to hit the annoying slayer.

But that soon changed when the male demon told the slayer about the arrows, and stuck a paper to the slayer's forehead, a paper that enabled him to see his arrows. He didn't thought that it was possible for a person, let alone a demon that was able to see his blood demon art involved in this mission, even less, one that could share his eyesight through a piece of paper.

That was how the advantage they had, was taken away by a demon's bda and a piece of paper.

At one point, the battle was taken outside the house, Susamaru was taking care of the demons, while he was left to fend with the slayer.

He was just playing around with him, using his arrows to prevent him from getting near him, but that won't work anymore, since the slayer discovered a way to counterattack his arrows using his breathing style, forcing him to take a more defensive stance.

The slayer kept getting closer to him with each attempt, there was one where he almost succeded in cutting his neck, and he would have if he didn't made him lose his footing with one of his arrows.

That made him grow wary, since now he couldn't take a look at Susamaru to see how she was doing, and last time he checked, she almost had one of her temari balls blowing her head.

He had a feeling that this was a battle they will not be able to win, the sunrise was near, probably just about an hour.

He needed to think fast, if they wanted an oportunity to win, or to get out alive, even if they failed the mission asigned to them.

He heard that their new lord was much more forgiving than lord Muzan, so he will probably let it pass if they failed.

But, while he was lost in thoughts, he failed to realize that the slayer was already slaying his neck, and when he went back, his head was already falling to the ground.

Yahaba was shocked, he never thought that a night would come where he would have his head cut, but it didn't last long, because a burning rage started taking over him, making him throw his arrows with all his might at the slayer.

When the rage dissapeared, panic quickly took over, he was afraid of death, afraid of failure, and he was afraid for his partner, so with the little streght he had left, he comanded one of his arrows to launch Susamaru as far as it could.

At least that way, one of them would survive the night.

As his last remainings turned to ash, Muichiro could tell that they failed.

He was a little bit dissapointed, but at the same time he was amazed at the strength the kid he encountered earlier had.

He was sure that if he kept training and getting stronger, he could become a hashira within a year.

So he left the place, and went back to the infinity fortress.

He was sure that he was going to meet that demon sooner or later, for now he would worry about the fact that a slayer discovered him. He needed to find a way to silence him without killing him.
