Over 200 years ago, Hotel Transylvania was a sacred place where monsters can be free from the malicious minds of human kind. However, ever since Johnny, and two kids named Lucy and Lincoln Loud stumbled into the hotel, the hotel now welcomes humans.
Mavis and Johnny's wedding party, was still going, and it was a success, as everyone was having fun. The Louds in particular are having a wonderful time, with Lucy and Lincoln being the ones hosting the entire thing.
Everyone was soon greeted by Johnny's parents, who were also guests at the party, to which they were also introduced to Drac and his friends. They were also introduced to the Louds, and Lucy stated that not everyone has come to the party.
One of the uninvited guests was Vlad, Dracula's father, and she said, "He's too old school for a party like this.", and Lori actually agreed with her. "Besides.", Dracula said, "He would've eaten Johnny, and he's not hip like your Daddy.".
"Yeah.", Lincoln said, saying that it was true. Soon, Dracula sang a song to Mavis and Johnny, about how they will always love each other, even saying that human, monster, unicorn, it doesn't matter.
One year later, the hotel was now a vacation spot for humans, and because the Louds decided to visit Lucy and Lincoln every summer, the two had their own room. The room had a bed for Lincoln and a coffin for Lucy, and it was decorated with photos of their family.
Drac was in the attic, and painting a portrait of Todd, an abstract monster. Suddenly, there was a knock in the door, and Drac said, "You can come in. Todd, take a break.". Behind the door, was Lincoln, Johnny, and the two Loud kids.
"Oh, hey guys!", Dracula said, "What's up?". Johnny soon said, "Nothing really, but Mavis here would like to ask you, if the two of you would go for a fly.". "Really?", Dracula asked, "We haven't done that in a long time!".
"Is there a special reason why?", Dracula asked, but Lincoln said it was just nothing. "What's his deal?", Drac soon asked, but Lucy said that he was being silly. "I mean, it's a beautiful night, and I understand if you don't wanna...", Mavis tried to say, but Dracula interrupted.
"Are you kidding?! I would eat an entire bucket full of garlic to fly with you!", Drac said, and Lucy said, "I recommend you wouldn't.". "Come on, it'll be fun.", Lincoln said, as he, Lucy and Johnny looked out of the window.
"Look at all these fluffy clouds.", Dracula said with excitement, "Remember that game we used to play when you were little, called Hide and Go Seek Sharp Objects?". However, Mavis decided to play the regular game of hide of seek instead.
"Where are you?", Dracula said, as he and Mavis were zooming through the clouds. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!", he continued, until he noticed Mavis on s nearby cloud, catching her breath.
"Honey bat?", Dracula asked, worried about his daughter, "Is there something wrong?". Mavis just said, in between breaths, "Well...,", she started to speak, "It's just a little hard to catch my breath, since I'm pregnant.".
"Oh, yeah, I can totally agree with...", Drac said, until he heard what he thought Mavis has said. "Wait, what?!?", he asked in shock, and Mavis reveals her belly, to show Drac that it was true.
Dracula soon got excited, and flew around in the air with happiness. "I'm gonna be a grandpa!", Drac said, and done by the hotel's window, Johnny yelled, "And I'm going to be a dad!". However, this woke up the other members of the Loud family, as they said, "Will you please shut up!", until Lincoln and Lucy told them the news.
Soon, everyone was with Mavis, who was in bed. "I'm kinda hungry.", Mavis said, and asked Johnny, "Could you get me some ice cream with anchovies?". However, Drac soon entered the room, and said, "No, you can't have that! It's not good for the baby!".
Dracula soon asked Lisa to read what she has learned from a book called 'Monster Anatomy Volume 5: Vampires'. She read, "You need to increase your spider intake, so it could be able to climb ceilings properly, and eat lots of sheep vomit.".
"I'm on it!", Lana said, as she holds up a paper plate. to which the sheep vomited on it. "Here you go.", Lana said, "Made with love, and bile, by Chef Lana.".
"Thanks, Lana.", Mavis said, as she places the plate on her nightstand. "I love you, Dad.", she continued, "But the thing is, we don't know if the kid is really going to be a vampire.", and Lincoln and his sisters agreed to that.
However, Lucy said, "What'd you mean?", to which Mavis said, "Maybe the baby will look human, like Johnny.". Dracula was soon surprised when Mavis said that, and he said, "Human, with thousands of Dracula genes, that's not going to happen.".
"Well, as long as the baby is healthy, it'll grow up to be a perfect human.", Lisa said, but Lucy interrupted, "Or a vampire.". "Or maybe,", Luan interrupted, "A human that could fly like a bat.".
Soon, Lynn Sr entered the room with a bowl of soup. "Uh, are you sure this is matzah ball soup?", he asked, but Drac corrected him, as it's actually 'Monster Ball Soup'. "Okay?", Lynn Sr said, as he placed the bowl of soup near Mavis.
Inside the soup, there are three monster balls, and they each groan while swimming in the soup. "It's your mother's recipe for some reason.", Lynn Sr said, even hinting that he's a better chef than Quasimodo. "Thanks, Mr Loud.", Mavis said.
"It like what you used to make me when I was a kid. My favorite.", Mavis said, and then she started to cry. "Uh, Drac?", Lincoln asked, "Are vampire mood swings different from human mood swings?". "Well, possibly,", Drac said, "I mean THIS isn't as bad as Martha got pregnant.".
"Well, what happened.", Leni asked, and in Drac's head, he pictures a flashback of himself with Martha, in the same situation that Mavis was having. "You don't wanna know.", Dracula said, and as Mavis continued to cry, Lori asked if it's a good idea to leave the room, and Drac said it WAS a good idea.
As they left the room, the monster balls also cried, and one of them also ate the spoon. "Sorry.", it said with embarrassment.
