Chapter 1 A Shooting Star.
HELLO FANFIC READERS OF THE EARTH! I have returned! I know a lot of people are asking; "Yow man why didn't you CONTINUE the other stories you made?! Why aren't you updating?!" And I deeply and really deeply apologized for everything. To be honest I just really suck suck at continuing stories unless I have someone to punch me in the mental gut with more motivation. Sometimes I lost my motivation, sometimes I lost my sensation to continue the stories and believe me I've been trying my hardest. But still I apologize. Maybe this story would have the same effect like my other stories.
Thankfully one of the fanfic author took notice one of my work which is "The Protector of Luna Nova" a Dragon Ball Z X Little Witch Academia Crossover, and the author liked it and made a remake of it that is called "The Saiyan of Luna Nova" written by Doodleboy565 here in this site! Go check that out and his other stories. He also edited this since I tend to screw up at writing (especially the grammar/spellings) He is an amazing writer! Check him out!
So at least there is one of my fanfic crossover stories that would live on to another.
Anyways, This crossover has been in concept or discussed for a long while with the author who wrote "Goku and the Olympians" and "The Saiyan of Luna Nova"
And now ...I hope you enjoy reading this! LET US BEGIN!
In a galaxy far, far away...
Naboo was a bountiful planet found in the region of the Mid Rim close to the border of the galaxy's outermost territories. This world, from the people's perspective, was reminiscent of a cherished jewel or emerald. The planet's surface comprised of a vast array of different landscapes, from rolling plains and grassy hills to swampy lakes that were caused by the water-filled networks of deep-sea tunnels. Besides its natural features, Naboo was a world of classical, aesthetic beauty.
Said planet was a home to two races: an amphibious species known as the Gungans, and human beings. These particular humans had arrived from another world over a thousand years ago and overtime, managed to colonize Naboo as their new home. They were either known as Naboolians or simply the Naboo. Naboolians were known for their sartorial extravagance. Unlike the Gungans, who were a proud, warrior race, the human colonists of Naboo were peaceful and somewhat diplomatic. This difference of ideologies caused tension between the two civilizations for centuries.
Despite this, the two factions ended up uniting themselves against a common foe called the Trade Federation, an interstellar shipping and conglomerate. Led by devious leader, Viceroy Nute Gunray, the Federation attempted to blockade and take over Naboo using a manufactured army of Battle Droids. Luckily, the people of Naboo were aided by two Jedis Knights, and eventually put an end to the blockade. From that point on, Naboo was at last liberated from the Trade Federation's tyrannical influence.
Ten years have passed since that very liberation took place. The Naboolians and the Gungans have lived in relative peace with one other, and made great recoveries during that time. The people of Naboo had moved on with their daily lives. Men and women worked in the streets selling food, others worked as members of the Royal Guard, and children played in the streets until the sun set. At the moment, most people were either sleeping from their hard work or still completing their jobs.
One particular woman was on the mountain chains, climbing to the top. She was a 24-year-old woman with long, brown hair tied into a pony tail. She possessed eyes of the same color, and peach-tone skin. The woman also wore a brown armor-like vest with blue clothes concealed underneath. Once the queen of Naboo in her teenage years, she played a major role during the liberation of Naboo against the Trade Federation. Now, she was the delegated senator and representative of Naboo in the Galactic Senate of the Republic: Padmé Naberrie Amidala.
She was remaining focused, keeping a close eye on the surface where she climbed to prevent herself from falling. Each climb, she cautiously moved up, finding any rocks or holes that would be safe for her to latch onto. After half an hour passed, she finally reached the top. She panted, wiping the sweat from her forehead.
"Phew! That was fun!" Padmé said proudly. She put both hands on her hips with a sense of victory and relief. She then sat down, and looked up at the night sky. The stars could be viewed as mere dots, blinking across the vast reaches of outer space. It was a beautiful sight. This place was one of the few areas in Naboo where she could relax while away from the senate back in Coruscant. Depending on her schedule, she usually went here throughout the day or night. Despite Padmé's dedication to politics, and doing what's best for her people and others, she needed this break. It helped take away the stress that had been boiling for months while talking politics. She was happy that she could have some time off, even if it was just for a little while.
"It seems like you're enjoying your time away from senate duty, my lady." A young female voice said out of nowhere. The voice had a hint of professionalism to it, yet was calm and tranquil at the same time.
Padmé turned around, seeing a young woman who could almost be mistaken for her twin sister. She wore the same clothes as Padmé with the addition of a light brown cloak strapped to her chest. Behind her, a modified Swoop Bike was parked in place. Such a rare vehicle, although few in number, was commonly used by the Royal Naboo Security Forces.
"Well, since I'm going back to being a senator in the next few days, Sabé, I'll try to enjoy myself as best I can." Padmé half-heartedly chuckled as she greeted her friend, Sabé.
She was one of the many handmaidens who served Padmé during her time as Queen of Naboo. They weren't just some pretty decorations for the court, though. Sabé and her maidens were an elite fighting force for the Queen, and would give their very lives for both her and the people of Naboo. Sabé, in particular, served as Padme's body double when the invasion had taken place. She was also one of her closest friends and trusted advisors.
Sabé took a small grey bottle off of her belt. She gave it to Padmé, watching as the former queen drank nearly all of its contents.
"Ahhh...thank you." Padmé exclaimed. "So, how long have you been here, Sabé? Since I hadn't heard your bike while I was climbing here, I'm guessing you were already here for a while." Padmé politely asked as she gave the bottle back, and gazed at the stars once more. Sabé smiled at the young senator as she started to explain.
"That's true. I've been here for about three hours now. I usually like taking this bike for a ride sometimes." Sabé confessed, gesturing to her Swoop Bike. "How about you, my lady? Has anything happened to you during your time off?"
"Nothing much, really. Just climbing all the way here, being careful not to slip and fall on anything…the usual stuff." Padmé kindly assured her close friend.
"What about you? Aside from doing your usual duties, how was your day?" Padmé asked, curious to know what else her double had been up to. Sabé shrugged, her eyes closed.
"Well, my answer is similar to yours in a way. I never really think of doing anything else apart from, maybe, swimming in the lakes or riding my Swoop in secret at night." Sabé answered truthfully. Although, at times, she did sleep for a whole day she had the week off.
"Hmmm I see..." Padmé hummed. Then, a light smirk appeared on her face. "Does that include hanging out with your secret boyfriend?"
Sabé simply scoffed at that question.
"Oh please. That would be ridiculous of me. I don't have time to be affected by love." Sabé snorted. Padmé quirked her eyebrows, lightly chuckling at this response.
"Is that so? What about Tonra?" Padmé questioned her in a joking manner. At the mention of Sabé's close friend and fellow member of the Royal Naboo Security Forces, a faint blush began to form on Sabé's cheeks. However, due to her astute focus and level of professionalism as a handmaiden, this immediately disappeared.
"Tonra is my friend, nothing more. We keep and watch each other's backs. That's all." Sabé stated in a matter-of-fact tone. Despite her professional act, Padmé wasn't so easily fooled. Not one bit.
"Well, there's really nothing wrong with it, you know?" Padmé affirmed. Sabé just sighed, but half-heartedly chuckled anyway
"That may be true, but what about you, my lady? I'm sure that I don't need to remind that you too also hold my point." Sabé pointed out, referring to Padmé's own experiences with romance.
"Alright, you got me." Padmé raised her hands up in defeat, lightly grinning. Padmé had quite a few romantic moments in the past decade. Such notable examples were Palo Jemabie, and Senator Rush Clovis, both of whom worked closely with Padmé during early points in her career. However, she was far too busy to deal with that type of stuff. The more she thought of her responsibilities as a senator, the more her smile began to loosen. This dour expression had not gone unnoticed by the Sabé.
"Has something troubled you, my lady?" Sabé asked in concern, having a good feeling what Padmé's answer would be. The senator sighed, shaking her head.
"It's that again." Padmé answered with a slight frown on her face. Sabé shook in dissatisfaction.
"I heard. A lot of people have been moving seceding from the Republic to call for their own independence." Sabé said, knowing all too well about that situation. It was the Separatist Crisis. A decade ago, when the blockade of Naboo was still taking place, she and Padmé switched roles in case anything went south. During this time, Padmé was to meet with the former senator before her, Sheev Palpatine. He later became Chancellor of the Galactic Republic with her assistance. Within the Republic, she could see that most of the senators were either ignorant or just didn't care about anything other than themselves. Despite many pleas, the Republic barely did anything, with the exception of former Chancellor Finis Valorum secretly sending two Jedi to deal with the Trade Federation's schemes.
"I can't say I blame them. The Republic hasn't been doing a good job over the years. Some or most of the senators I know are not in the good set. The Separatist Crisis is getting more heated as time goes by. Almost like a volcano is about to erupt." Padmé said. She clenched both fists, looking down to the ground with a hint of sadness on her face.
"I've been trying to find a way to prevent that from happening." Padme explained. "I've been reasoning with others about this and only a few agreed with me. If this continues, there'll be no doubt that a war is going to take place sooner or later. And once a conflict between the Republic and Separatists breaks out, many lives will be lost on either side. Far more than what Naboo experienced ten years ago."
"Unfortunately, I barely made enough impact to alleviate this political unrest, and it's still kept on growing." Padme frowned at the thought.
After her second term as queen ended, she remained a representative of her people to the Galactic Senate of the Republic. Throughout the years, she noticed that the Republic was much worse than she had previously thought when they denied to help end the invasion of Naboo. The Republic's idealistic pillars of bringing peace and prosperity were weakened with each passing century as complacency and corruption spread to the highest levels of its government. She began to realize that many senators were placing their own interests above the common good, while immense corporations and local power blocs found loopholes, and ignored regulations to exploit the impoverished systems of the Outer Rim.
As the Republic's ineffective governance had become apparent, thousands of star systems had rallied around one charismatic man, Count Dooku. He formed the Confederacy of Independent Systems and demanded for independence from the Galactic Senate. When this request was refused, tension, growing violence, and hate between the Separatist and Republic factions had grown larger over the past decade. Ironically, it was the liberation that gave birth to this ongoing crisis, showing that even the weakest of factions could fight back and liberate their homes. If they could do it, why can't they?
It was only a matter of time before a great war between the two opposing sides would begin, and it would unquestionably cause chaos and destruction throughout the galaxy. Billions upon trillions of lives would suffer, including those of the peaceful emerald planet she called home.
Padmé had then bitten her lip and closed her eyelids. Small tears began to form, but she managed to regain her composure and resume looking at the night sky.
"If only there was something I could do, something that could end this suffering." Padmé whispered sorrowfully.
Sabé looked at her with a hint of sadness. Having nothing left to say, she too turned around to gaze at the small glowing stars. Sabé then noticed a small star moving very fast across the sky.
"Perhaps a shooting star would make your wish come true, my lady." Sabé said, gesturing to the stars above. At this innocent attempt to comfort her, Padmé couldn't help, but lightly chuckle.
"Believing in old myths I see, Sabé?" Padmé giggled. Sabe sported a small smile, raising both of her hands in defense.
"I tried my best. I mean…we do have the Jedi in this galaxy who can lift entire spacecrafts off the ground, and even witches, so why not?" Sabé defended her comment amusedly. This only increased the extent of Padmé's giggles.
"Well, I can't argue with that, I suppose." Padmé shrugged and gave out a small laugh. "Would you like to make a wish with me?"
Padmé offered Sabé, gesturing to the shooting stars. Sabé nodded, accepting the senator's offer with a smile.
"Of course, my lady. I wouldn't mind." Sabé said. She moved and sat close to Padmé, both of them whispering the same wish. Padmé hoped that in time, she and every other person like her could manage to bring peace to the galaxy. No matter how hard the situation could become, she would find a way. She has to.
As Padmé opened her eyes, she started to noticed that one of the stars was moving away from the rest. And it looked like it was slowly getting closer.
"Strange... that one seems like it's getting closer to us...like it's about to hit-" Padme stopped, realizing what was about to happen in a few moments. The object was coming in fast, and it seemed like it was heading right towards the very spot they were sitting at.
"Move!" Padmé ordered her friend. Both of them ran as fast they could away from the spot. They jumped behind some rocks closest to the mountain's cliffside, hoping to create enough cover from the small meteor crashing down.
And after a few moments, the meteor-like object collided with the ground, creating a large crater upon impact. It then fell to the very edge of the mountain, ripping apart some nearby tree branches.
This impact shook the surrounding area, causing Padmé to almost fall of the cliff's edge. Thankfully, Sabé grabbed ahold of her, and brought Padmé back to safety.
"Are you alright, my lady?" Sabé asked in worry. Padmé gave her a shaky thumbs up in response.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Don't worry." Padmé calmly assured. They both stood up and witnessed the aftermath of the meteor's impact. The entire place where they sat was now a deep crater with large cracks, and small fires crackling around it.
"Well...this type of stuff rarely happens. I guess we're experiencing one of those times." Sabé said as she perused the surrounding damage. Padmé nodded at her comment.
"Yeah. Let's see where that meteor landed. It looked like it bounced off somewhere around here." Padmé exclaimed. They followed the direction of a billowing smokestack, and saw that it formed at the very bottom of the surface between the mountains and cliffs. They could see that various trees had been torn apart, whilst small fires glowed amidst the mountains' dark shadows.
As the smoke cleared, Padmé discovered that the thing that landed wasn't a meteor at all. It looked more like a spherical space pod with a circular, dark purple window positioned in the center.
"An escape pod?" Padmé asked herself. She had never seen this type of space pod before, and it was different from the others she had previously been aware of. Where did it come from? How did it get here? Was there some type of battle or pirate raid that took place? Piracy and slavery were pretty common in this galaxy, unfortunately. Notable examples came from Tatooine, a world predominantly ruled by the Hutts. She remembered her time when the Naboo blockade was still taking place, trying to find a way to get to Coruscant for aid. She was disgusted by the sign of slavery shown on that world. She even met a young child, Anakin Skywalker, who was freed, and eventually became a Jedi Padawan. He was currently being trained by a Jedi Knight she also met on Tatooine, Obi Wan Kenobi. Anakin's mother, Shmi Skywalker, was supposed to be freed by her friend, Sabé, from a prolonged period slavery after the liberation. Unfortunately, Shmi was no longer there when she went and tried to free the other slaves. Due to how sweet and kindhearted of a person Shmi truly was, this brought a great bit of guilt to both Sabé and Padmé.
"Call for medical assistance! Tell them that we found an unidentified escape pod at our destination!" Padmé ordered the handmaiden in an authoritative manner. Sabé nodded, using a small communicator in her pocket to contact the nearest medic in their general vicinity.
"Let's get closer to that pod, and know if the person inside is alright." Padmé said.
"Understood, my lady." Sabé replied. Both of them headed to the Sabé's Swoop Bike, and drove down to the area where the pod had landed.
It was only a few moments before they finally reached their intended destination. As they got off the vehicle, and walked towards the still-smoking pod, the trees located around it had burned considerably.
"Stay here, Sabé, and wait for the medics to arrive soon. I'll go there myself." Padmé told her friend, who nodded in compliance.
The senator cautiously walked towards the pod to get a better view of it. She could smell the burns from the pod after it had passed through Naboo's atmosphere. The pod's exterior layer was burnt, but except for a cracked window on its hatch, it didn't look like it was damaged at all. Fortunately for the person inside, the glass still somehow maintained itself, thus keeping its pilot safe and sound.
Before Padmé could manage to take look at the window hatch to see if the person was alright, she waited for the heat of the pod to cool down.
Then, all of a sudden, a low hissing sound came from the pod, signifying that the hatch was about to open up. She took a step back as the hatch popped up vertically. Padmé could hear the mechanical sound of the hatch cracking apart, showing signs of inner wear and tear. It soon stopped after a loud mechanical crack was heard, and the hatch only opened halfway.
Padmé moved closer, managing to spot the silhouette of a person seated inside. Unknown to the young senator, the hatch fully released, causing Padmé to accidentally slip and fall inside of the pod's main cockpit.
Groaning, she slowly picked herself up. Latching onto something close to her, Padmé suddenly felt soft, yet hard skin upon contact. She looked at the surface in confusion, recognizing it as a hand. More specifically, a human one.
Startled, Padmé turned her head up and saw an unconscious, half-naked man. Appearing to be around her age, if not a bit older, his entire body was caked with bruises and trails of dried blood. The man had jet-black spiky hair, and wore a pair of orange pants that were practically tattered to shreds. His ripped blue, undershirt could also be seen below his abdominal area. Judging from his unusual appearance, he looked like he just escaped some type of devastating battle of sorts.
Padmé then heard the sound of a ship's engine coming right behind them, knowing that the medics and Royal Naboo Security Forces have finally arrived for assistance. The man's voice could be heard from Padme's ear as she turned her head towards the wounded man. His eyes twitched as they shifted open half-way. In this instance, she looked at his face a bit more closely. She could almost see that his eyes were glowing a bright, greenish-blue, but in a split second's time, both eyes changed to black. She had no idea whether this was her imagination or not. He then groaned in pain before losing consciousness once again.
"By the force...what happened to you?" Padmé whispered in concern. Little did she know was that this man was one of the greatest fighters from another galaxy even further away than hers. He had just defeated an evil tyrant who had caused suffering throughout the known universe and beyond. He was none other than the Saiyan warrior raised on Earth, Son Goku.
Aaaaaaand that's the end of the first chapter! Sooo what did you guys think?
Instead of Goku crashing to Yadrat...he crashes to Naboo! And yes This is taken place before Episode 2: Attack of the Clones happens!
Putting our boy Son Goku himself in the Star Wars Galaxy gave me some...interesting ideas interesting interactions and more! I do wonder how his presence would change the star wars galaxy as a whole? (one last thing? No he's not going to be nerfed)
Well wait until the next chapter of this story! For I too want to know what happens next!
And also check out Doodleboy565's works! He made some amazing stories! and I thanked him for making this possible! I also made a fan manga based on his story "Goku and the Olympians"! and even made an animation teaser based of his story called "Saiyan of Luna Nova" that I posted on Youtube!
So I hope you check his stories out!
That's all for today! Take care people!
UPDATE 7/01/21
Yow! Thank you guys for many many positive reviews. That really means a lot to me!
My humblest apologies for not updating early. The Chapter 2 is already one. I just need to wait for my editor to look over that chapter so I can post it (since I really suck at grammar spellings) . But it might take a while since he's very busy with a lot of stuffs so I hope you guys wait for a while longer.
I'm almost finished with the 3rd chapter and close to writing the 4th chapter too!
I hope you guys understand my reasons and I apologize again!
Thank you again for the reviews! Keep it coming! Take care! I'll see you guys again soon for updates!
