A few months after Ryouko was kidnapped, the Otogi Bank had just finished another job.
"Good work today everyone," said the president.
"It was easy, sir," said Ryouko.
"I hate to cut this off, but we have to go, Ryouko," said Ryoushi.
"You're right, otherwise Kumada will yell at us," said Ryouko as she got up from her seat before the two headed out.
"Is it me, or have those two been spending a lot more time together since that incident?" asked Majolica.
"Yes, they have been," said Ringo with an evil smile. An hour later, Ryouko and Ryoushi were training at the gym.
"Alright kid, your technique is looking good," said Kumada as Ryoushi practiced boxing with the hand pads up in the ring. He had even managed to dodge the pads when Kumada went to hit him.
"I owe it to you sir, you allowed me to train here and have been a big help with it," said Ryoushi.
"Then you should thank Ryouko, she told me that you wanted to get some training under your belt and asked me to let you train here," said Kumada.
"I thought we would not tell him that," said Ryouko as she stopped jumping rope to glare at him.
"Oh, will you look at the time, you two should be going home," said Kumada as he ran to his office. A little later, the two were walking home together.
"I can't believe he said that earlier," said Ryouka, who was blushing.
"It was nice of you to do it," said Ryoushi with a smile.
"Well I can't let you get weak on me when you're my partner," said Ryouko who was blushing even more. Once she was home Ryouko walked straight into her room.
"Welcome home," said Ringo who was waiting at the door.
"What's wrong, Ringo?" asked Ryouko with a worried expression.
"I'm just curious, what happened between you and Ryoushi?" asked Ringo.
"Nothing, I just felt that he should keep his skills up, so I got him a membership to my gym," said Ryouko.
"Are you sure it's not that you feel like you owe him for saving you?" asked Ringo.
"Okay I admit that it was the only way I could think of to thank him, do you have a problem with that?" asked Ryouko.
"No, but leave it to me to help you thank him a little better," said Ringo with a smile that even scared Ryouko.
