Chapter Summary: American 15 year old, Orion Hart, is on his way to his parent's alma mater in Mustafa, Japan with his goal to be a great hero. Just like his parents, he will attend one of, if not the greatest hero school in the world, UA High School. This is the story of how he became a great hero.

Chapter 1: Prologue
Long ago in Qing Qing City, a rather strange occurrence happened that shocked the world. A luminescent baby was born, shining brighter than any light that some people have seen. That was just the beginning of these occurrences, as time went on more and more people were reported to gain strange 'Quirks'. No one knew how 'Quirks' came to be but after a while, superhumans became the norm.
After many years, almost 80% of the Earth's population were born with 'Quirks'. The world became a superhuman society. Our streets look like scenes from comic books, but that also meant chaos and destruction came as well. Due to this, a new profession was made so people could use their abilities to help people.
With the rise of superhuman abilities also came the rise of criminal activity. With the government trying to come up with laws pertaining 'Quirks', brave and courageous people put their lives on the line to save people. With the people's support these 'Heroes' became the peace keepers that protect our cities. That's how heroes came to be.

Present Day, San Francisco, CA

"Where is it?" A young man says to himself as he rummages through his closet, throwing everything out of it.
"Honey?! What's taking so long? Your father is already in the car, and you know how he is." The woman in question enters the room. She looks to be in her mid 30s, standing at 5ft 7 inches, with long brown hair that reaches her mid-back.
"I found it!" The young man says as he stands up, holding a book that reads "Japanese 101". The young man smiles, standing at 5ft 11 inches with brown hair with blonde strands in it. The most notable feature the young man has is the sharp and jagged set of teeth he has.
The young man turns towards his bed and grabs a suitcase that is laying on top. He starts to head towards the door with his stuff when it suddenly bursts open, knocking him back.
"Orion, if you don't hurry up you'll miss your plane." The woman stands over him, hands on her hips as he left eyebrow twitches. The young teen, known as Orion, nervously looks at his mother.
"Amy Hart - Hero Name: Anishifter - Quirk: Anishift - USA's #18 ranked hero - Her quirk allows her to transform into any animal that she wants to, but that doesn't include insects. She is the great, great, great granddaughter of legendary Pro-Hero, Garfield Logan."
"Sorry, mom. I was just looking for my Japanese book, I just want to review it before I get there." Orion scratches his cheek as he gets back up.
"Well that's fine, but let's go already or else your father will lose his head." His mother says as she walks back downstairs.
Both mother and son walk out of their house, each carrying a suitcase. Orion turns around and takes one last look at his home. He looks at every detail of the three story home that he's lived in most of his life. He won't be seeing it for a while. Just as he is about to turn around, he hears a car honk at him.
"Hey, hurry up and get in the car. Your place leaves in an hour." Orion looks at his father, Jared Hart. His father stands at 6ft 3 inches with golden blond hair that is kept short.
"Jared Hart - Hero Name: Shifter - Quirk: Shift - USA's #17th ranked hero. - His quirk lets him change his form to allow his appearance to look like anybody he wants to. Only downside is that he has to touch the person before he can turn into them. Once he turns into that person he can use their quirk. His transformations only last about 2 hours before he turns back to normal."
"Alright dad, calm down." Orion slams the trunk of the car closed and gets in the back seat. "We literally live 10 minutes from the airport."
"Yea well, you know how traffic gets." His father replies.
Orion Hart isn't just your average American teen. He's the son of two of the US's most prominent heroes,Shifter and Anishifter, Both ranked #17 and #18, respectfully. With both his parents becoming top heroes, his life isn't like other kids. From the age of 6 he has been homeschool and trained privately by both his parents, for his protection.
Currently his parents are taking to the airport to see him off to Japan. Now that he is 15 years old, he is able to attend their Alma Mater, a school considered as the greatest hero school to exist, UA High School. Both his parents are American but their parents send them to UA as exchange students, that's where they met. Now they are sending Orion to experience the same thing they did. Their plan is for him to graduate from UA and work as a Pro-Hero there then transfer back to the US after. He remembers when they told him what they were thinking and how he reacted.

Flashback to 2 Years ago

"What do you mean you're gonna send me to Japan!" A 13 year old Orion shouts. This Orion is not only younger, but also standing at 5ft 5inches, s much smaller Orion.
"It's just like it sounds. When me and your mom were both just about to enter high school, both our families decided to send us to U.A. High School. That's where me and your mom met. So we want you to experience life. We can't keep you here all your life." His father tells him.
"You do want to be a hero, right?" His mother asks.
"Of course I do! More than anything!" The brown/blonde haired teen replies, without hesitation. Both his parents look at their son, with proud eyes.
"If you do want to go, then you will have an advantage we never did." His father admits.
"What do you mean?" The teen asks.
"What your father is saying, you'll be able to study Japanese not like us. Also there are two ways to get into U.A. either by recommendation or the regular entrance exam. Since you're lucky enough to be our son," His mother winked. "You'll be able to get in from our recommendation."
Orion listens to what she is saying but then something comes to mind, "Do they really expect me to just accept a handout like that." Orion looks at his parents with a determined face.
"If I do go to U.A. high school, then I want to get in my own way. I don't want a handout from you guys, I want to make it in my own way." Orion confidently tells his parents. He closes his eyes, ready to get yelled at, but it never comes.
"That's our boy!" Both his parents shout as they crush their son in an embrace.
"I know you'll get in." His mother reassures him. Orion smiles as he hugs them both back. After a few minutes, all three members of the Hart family discuss his journey across the sea.
"So, will you guys be transferring to Japan when I go?" Orion asks his parents. He only gets two slow shakes of their heads.
"Your father and I both won't be going with you. Recently, we were both offered spots on a Pro-hero team by the government. The team won't be ready for another year or two but we both accepted. So even if we did, we wouldn't be able to." The tall brown haired father tells his son.
"But don't worry, you'll have an apartment in the Saitama Prefecture that is big enough for you and we'll send you money for food and clothes." His mother reassures him. "We'll also visit when we can."
Orion puts his hand on his chin, thinking of the pros and cons. He then finally makes up his time after another 5 minutes.
"Alright, I accept." Orion gives his answer.
"That's what I like to see. We'll begin your training next week." His father replies.

Currently the Brown haired, blonde highlighted teen is being crushed by his mother in a bone crushing hug. Orion's father just watches with an amused smirk as he takes out Orion luggage.
"Mom, that's enough. Can't….breath." Orion tries to speak up.
"Sorry, Honey. I'm just….going to miss you." His mother sheepishly says. Orion just gives her a small smile. After another 3 minutes of Amy not letting go of her son, she finally steps back and tells her son,
"Don't overwork yourself, Okay?" She demands, receiving a simple nod from her son. Jared steps up and extends his hand out to his son, "I can't wait to see the hero you become, son." Orion shakes his father's hand as he finishes putting his stuff in line.
"Remember, your mother's friend is picking you up from the airport. Be nice to her, okay? She'll drive you to your test to U.A. while his apartment is still finishing up." Jared tells him, just as he turns the corner towards his gate.
After walking towards his flight's gate, Orion finally gets on his plane. As the flight begins to take off, he takes one last look at San Francisco. "Guess this is a new beginning." Orion thinks to himself.
This is the story of how Orion Hart becomes a great hero.

I am currently planning out the first 5 chapters to the story but I want to know who his love interest should be? My OC's personality is more of a chill and laid back but also a little bit of a smart ass. To these are the options.
