Chapter 1: The Battle of Hogwarts
"Listen, I know it's not much of a lead, but I'm going to go and look at this statue at least find out what the diadem looks like. Wait for me and keep, you know—the other one—safe." Harry said as Ron and Hermione go to the Chamber of Secrets to get the Basilisk Fang
Ginny got to her feet but said rather fiercely "No Luna will take Harry won't you, Luna?"
"oooh, yes, I'd like to" said Luna Happily and Cho sat back down looking disappointed.
Cho stands back up not wanting her chance to make up to her ex-boyfriend that she never meant to hurt slip away. As Harry and Luna were about to leave the room of requirement Cho walked up to them ignoring what Ginny requested and said "Hold up Harry and Luna"
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Ginny questioned angrily "I thought told you to sit down and let Luna help Harry Chang."
"What does it looking I'm doing Weasley I'm helping Harry and I don't care what you say." Cho shot back. "And we don't have time for your petty ass behavior okay, you really need to grow up"
"Says the one who cried like a baby after losing a match" Ginny said callously
"Do you have to bring that up right now" Cho said annoyed
"It's just too funny to bring up Chang when I beat you not once but twice in Quidditch." Ginny harassingly said
The crowd standing at awe watching the two young women that were romantically involved with The Boy Who Lived argue not wanting to take a side, Harry on the other hand didn't have the time for the two girls' their immature behavior at the cusp of the battle. He shouts,
"BOTH OF YOU SHUT IT!" both Cho and Ginny stopped arguing and looked at Harry with everyone else.
"Now then Cho come with me, and Luna I would rather be three wands alive than two wands' dead" Harry said calming down.
Ginny balls her fists as she wanted Luna solely helping Harry with finding the Ravenclaw's lost Diadem "B-But Harry-"
"I don't want to hear it right now, Ginny. Cho is going to help me whether you like it or not" Harry growled
Ginny sat back down not wanting to argue with Harry any longer with her scowl remains on the Asian Ravenclaw.
"Alright Harry" Cho nodded and joined him.
Cho stops and apologizes "Before we go, I just want to say that I'm so sorry about our fight that we had about Marietta betraying us. I thought she was a nice person, but she wasn't. I realized that she was manipulating me to stay away from you. As well going behind my back and betraying us."
"Yeah, I'm sorry about mistreating you that year as well Cho but we don't have time to apologize to each other at the moment." Harry assured her.
"Okay let's go" Cho nodded
Cho, Luna, Harry head towards the Ravenclaw Tower sneaking past Death-Eater patrols under the Invisibility Cloak. As they reached the Ravenclaw Common Room, Luna solves the Riddle, and three of them enter Cho and Luna's common. Both girls were happy that their common room remained the same as they left it.
Meanwhile at The Chamber of Secrets, Ron and Hermione pulled out a Basilisk fang from the skeletal remains of the monster that terrorized the school five years ago, to destroy Helga Hufflepuff's cup with Voldemort's soul that they stole from Gringotts not too long ago. Ron places the cup down on the floor for Hermione who has the Basilisk fang in her hand to destroy it.
Hermione gazes at the cursed object and raises the Basilisk fang to stab it but she hesitates because it would affect not only Voldemort but Harry as well. Ron assures her by saying that he destroyed Salazar Slytherin's Locket, Harry destroyed Voldemort's Dairy even Dumbledore destroyed one as well. With that Hermione stabs Helga Hufflepuff's cup. Suddenly, a dark purple mist erupts from the cup and creates a tidal wave in attempt to kill Ron and Hermione, they ran to the exit.
On the other side of lake Voldemort felt pain all over his rudimentary body as he screamed in agony, Nagani also started to twitch in pain as well. He then blasts the shield that was to protect the school Pius Thickinesse came up to Voldemort before he said anything Voldemort shouts, "AVADA KEDAVRA" The green light hits the puppet minister for magic square in the chest killing him instantly before he even hits the ground. Voldemort then blasts the shield that protected the castle.
at the same time, Harry looks at the Rowena Ravenclaw's statue but falls to his knees as his scar burns intensely, Luna and Cho quickly came over to his side and set him to sit on the couch. He smiled for a moment as Helga Hufflepuff's cup was destroyed, he sees a vision of the Diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw being kept in the Room of lost things. Back at the Chamber of Secrets, as the wave dies down Ron and Hermione share a long and passionate kiss.
"Harry are you alright?" Cho asked
"Yeah, I'm fine." Harry replied as the pain in his scar starts to go away, he then says in his normal voice, "I know where the Diadem is Cho."
"Where is it?" She asked
"The Room of the Lost Artifacts." He answers
"Okay." She nodded then asks "Do you want me and Luna to come with you to get it?
"Sure, you guys came this far why stop now." Said Harry
Cho smiled at that as well Harry and for a moment, they looked into each other's eyes and were about lean into with each other for a kiss until Luna says in panic as she looked outside the window, "Guys the shield is down."
Harry and Cho looked over at the window and saw the barrier that protected the school was now broken and the Battle of Hogwarts goes into effect. As the Students, Teachers, and Members of the Order of the Phoenix battle the Death Eaters outside, Harry, Cho, and Luna exit the Ravenclaw Common Room. They find the Grey Lady Helena Ravenclaw and daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw confirms that Voldemort hid her mother's Diadem crown in the Room of Requirement.
Harry, Cho, and Luna continue forward under the invisibility cloak to the hidden room however they stop and see McGonagall arguing with The Carrows and Amycus spits into McGonagall's face Disgusted by this, Harry takes off the Invisibility Cloak and fires the curiartis curse at the Death Eater causing him to spazz out. At the same time, Cho hits Alecto with Petrificus Totalus as she was about to pull up her sleeve and attempts to call reinforcements by us her dark mark tattooed on her arm. McGonagall applauds the trio after explaining to their former Transfiguration Professor what they were doing at Ravenclaw tower, she informs them that she will round up some students and teachers to defend the castle she then tells the three good luck as she leaves to join in the fierce melee.
The three continue going to the Room of Requirement fighting some Death Eaters that managed to get inside the castle along the way. They arrived at the entrance and walk past it three times until the doors open. As the three enter the Room of the Lost Artifacts Draco, Pansy Parkinson, Crabbe, Goyle, and Millicent Bulstrode snuck inside with the intention of delivering Harry to Voldemort. Unknown to the five Slytherins, Ron and Hermione were right behind them after tracking Harry with the Marauders' Map.
Harry, Luna, and Cho walk deeper into the Room of Lost Artifacts Harry's scar starts to burn him both Cho and Luna stop and asks in unison "Harry are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay the Diadem is right there in that box on the small table" Harry said points at the small table.
"Are you sure?" Cho asked.
"Yes, I'm sure"
They approach the box on the small table, Harry opens the box and there it was the Lost Diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw. Both Cho and Luna were at awe at the sight of their founder's relic they were a bit eager to try it on but the two Ravenclaws knew it tainted with dark magic. Harry picks up the Diadem but he, Cho, and Luna hear a voice from behind them.
"That's far enough Potter." Said Malfoy as he, Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, Millicent Bulstrode pointed their wands at Harry, Cho, and Luna then tells the three as they surrounded them "Now drop the Wands and come with us the Dark Lord wants to see you."
"What I thought we were going to kill him." Crabbe Protested
"No Crabbe the Dark Lord wants him alive not dead you idiot!" Pansy shouted
. "Pansy is right you dolt if the dark lord wants to kill Potter himself." Said Malfoy
Ron and Hermione join in, and Hermione said, "Stupefy "which missed, now it's five on five with both sides firing spells at each other during fighting the Diadem flies out of the box and into the top of the junk pile. Harry was about to get the Diadem however Draco fires Stupefy which zings past his head and fights the Malfoy Scion instead.
Cho and Pansy raced up the junk pile for Rowena's cursed tiara Cho manages to get up the pile before the mean girl. Pansy tries to grab the diadem out of Cho's hand but Cho kicks Pansy in the stomach making her fall off the pile. Cho puts the Diadem in her pocket and fires some stunning spells on Millicent Bulstrode who was fighting Luna.
"Potter, like I said on the train on our first year you've chosen the wrong side in this war." Draco said
"Malfoy take a reality check will ya you and your families the Malfoys and the Blacks are reduced to nothing but raging lunatics like your crazy arse Aunt and empty shells like your father and all for what?" Harry told Draco.
"It's none of your business Potter you the dark lord will win this war." Draco said
"Please like he ever won anything in his life Malfoy."
"Shut up Potter you don't know NOTHING!" Malfoy shouted as he fires a blasting curse at Harry.
"I do know everything you and father are nothing but pawns in Tom's game oh yeah and your father can't even piss straight without Tom looking over his shoulder."
At this point Draco was getting angry at what Harry was saying but he knew it was true that Voldemort would use anyone and then cast them aside like garbage just like what he did to his father. After the Battle of the Department of Mysteries two years ago and was going be the same thing when he tried to kill Dumbledore on the Astronomy Tower. He was about fire another jinx at Harry, but the words kept hitting him like ton of bludgers.
"Draco!? Draco! Are you going kill Potter?" Crabbe asked.
"What no I'm not going to kill him." Draco answered getting out of his trance.
This Crabbe agitated he shouts, "If are not going to kill Potter then I will start with the Mudblood whore." then fires "AVADA KEDAVRA!" at Hermione, but it misses and the five Slytherins made a run for it like cowards.
Ron chases after them and yells "THAT WAS MY GIRLFRIEND YOU BASTARD!"
"So, Hermione you and Ron." Said Harry "About time"
"Yep, we destroyed the Horcrux." Hermione blushed and giggled.
"Wow she looks pleased with herself about something else other than destroying the cursed founders' objects." Said Cho
"Yeah it looks that way." Harry chuckled
"AHHHH!" screamed Ron running past them "CRABBE SET THE BLOODY PLACE ON FIRE!"
As Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, and Cho ran the fire grew out control form in dangerous creatures like snakes, dragons, and chrimeas. Soon all five were cornered but with quick thinking from Ron, they hopped on some brooms with Luna going on Cho's broom, and they all flew off. Draco, Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy, and Millicent all climbed on to the junk pile Crabbe and Millicent fell into the fire due to their weight as Draco, Pansy, and Goyle climbed up to the top. Harry looks back at the three Slytherins and turns back to save them, Ron and Cho join in, Harry takes Draco while Ron saves Goyle and Cho take Pansy. They all manage to fly out of the Room of Lost Artifacts Hermione passes the Basilisk fang to Cho and shouts, "Cho stab the Diadem with the Basilisk fang!"
Cho takes the Basilisk fang and stabs the Diadem, and a dark purple mist emerges out of the Diadem then Harry suddenly has a vision of Nagini in a protective bubble in the Shrieking Shack and guarded by Voldemort.
"Harry? Harry!" Cho shouted franticly as tried to get Harry out of his trance.
Pansy sees four Death Eaters find some Students to kill, seeing this opportunity to have Harry captured and sent to the Dark Lord she shouts, "HEY POTTER IS OVER HERE POTTER IS OVER -" She gets interrupted by punch to the face knocking her out cold by an angry Cho who risked her life to save the mean girl.
"You ungrateful pug bitch." Cho growled the scolds both Draco and Goyle "Don't even think doing what this little pug faced skank was about to do you got that."
Both Draco and Goyle nodded their heads and stayed put as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna and Cho left the seventh- floor corridor.
"Harry where to now mate?" Asked Ron
"Voldemort and his pet snake Nagini who is the last horcrux she is at the Shrieking Shack." Answered Harry
"Okay Harry." Hermione nodded
"Do you want me and Luna to come with you as well Harry?" asked Cho
"No, Cho I want you and Luna go join McGonagall and the others in the fight."
"Sure, thing Harry and good luck." Said Cho smiling at Harry
"Uhm... you too Cho." Said Harry as Cho and Luna leave to join the fight the others
Harry shook his head removing the thoughts of being back with Cho now as he, Hermione and Ron make their way through to the Shrieking Shack. When they were outside, they see all their friends and teachers fighting wave after wave of Voldemort's followers. At the corner of Hermione's eye, she sees her former dormmate and Ron's ex-girlfriend Lavender Brown, her other dormmate Parvati Patil and her Ravenclaw twin sister Padma are cornered and about get mauled by Fenrir Greyback, she, Harry, and Ron fired reducto curses at the Werewolf two in the chest and on in the head killing him. The girls thank the trio for saving them and left.
