When the group got out of the hearse, Dracula said, "This is the place, Denisovich.". "This is where I learned to catch mice, and shapeshift...", he continued, "and use my amazing powers and strength.".
"Whoa,", Lucy and Lincoln said, "That's kinda cool, right Dennis?". But Dennis just said, "Badminton.", as he pointed at two vampire kids playing badminton. "Yeah, I don't remember the badminton.", Drac said.
Soon, the camp counselor arrived, "Hello, I'm Dana, the director. What can I do you for?", he asked. "Well, I'm interested in making my grandson, Dennis, into a vampire.", Dracula said, however Dana asked about the missing fangs from Dennis' mouth.
"He's a late fanger.", Lucy said, with Lincoln saying, "I know that me and Lucy are humans, but I'd like to ask you a few questions.". "Go ahead.", Dana said, and Lincoln's first question was, "Can you show us some of the drills, like the catching of mice, or whatever.".
"Sure, but it's now known as Tee-Mousing.", Dana said. "Tee-Mousing?", Lincoln said, as he soon noticed a bunch of vampire kids, one by one, grabbing the mouse from the tee. "So they don't even catch the mice?", Lucy asked.
"Nope.", Dana said, "It's a great way to build up confidence.". Soon, Dracula took Dennis and the others to a rickety old tower. "This is it, Denisovich.", Dracula said, "Where Papa Drac learned to fly.". "I wanna fly like Papa.", Dennis said, but Dana soon interrupted.
"Uh, we're over there now.", he said, pointing to a climbing area with a mat. "We had to scale it down, because of all the insurance.", he said, "Anyways, see you around the campfire.".
Soon, Leni, Luan, Johnny, and Mavis, arrived at Mike and Linda's house. "Well, gosh guys.", Linda said with excitement, "I can't believe you four are here.".
Look at all of this!", Mavis said, "I can't believe I'm actually here.", with Leni and Luan saying, "Us two!". "Well, you are.", Johnny said, and soon Linda interrupted. "So what's it like,", Linda asked Mavis, "You sleep all day, and you come out at night?".
"Well, yeah basically.", Mavis said, and Linda interrupted when she said, "I've got you this sunhat, just in case. As well as this poncho.". Mike interrupted, "That's enough, Linda.", to which Linda decided that it would be time to show the couple their bedrooms.
The bedroom had two sides, with one for Mavis and one for Johnny. While Johnny's side featured a normal bed, Mavis's side features Halloween decorations, and a coffin. "It's just like Transylvania!", Mavis said.
"Transylvania was a fun experience.", Linda said, "I remember when Mike was afraid that he would be eaten, but I told him not to worry.", to which Mike said, "That was you, Linda.". Soon, the doorbell rang. "Who's at the door?", Luan asked, to which Linda has been inviting some other mixed families.
"Hi, Caren. Hi, Pandragora.", Linda said, as she greeted the couple. Caren was a human, but Pandragora was a monster with tentacles for hair. "Welcome Mavis.", Caren said, to which Pandragora said, "You two are going to dig it here.".
"Don't even worry.", he continued, "People are totally cool with our lifestyle.". Caren explained that the kids can be made fun a lot, but in the end, they strengthen up. Soon, there was another couple at the door, however they were there for a brief second, due to the husband of the couple being mistaken for a werewolf.
Soon, Lucy, Drac, Lincoln, their friends, and the campers are by a campfire. Dana was singing a song, to which the campers sang to, with Lincoln and Dennis joining in, while Murray, Frank, Wayne, and Griffin, did all the moves.
The campers sang, "Vampires will be friends forever. Through the centuries together. Even in the brightest sunny weather. Vampires will be friends forever. Literally, forever.". The only people who DIDN'T sing, were Drac and Lucy, who just had dull expressions.
"Good job, vampires.", Dana said, "Give yourself a hug.". Drac, all tired of this, decided to do something very different. "We're going!", Drac said, and the others followed him.
It was revealed that Dracula wants to teach Dennis, the way to be a vampire back then, by having the group climb up the rickety old tower. "Why are we going up here?", Lincoln said, to which Dracula said, "You think you wanna hear those new songs?".
"Whatever happened to 'Micheal, Row Your Corpse Ashore.', or 'Old MacWerewolf Had An Axe.". "Technically,", Lucy said, "I like those versions, better.". "But still do we have to be this high up?", Lincoln asked.
"Yes,", Drac said, "Now who's ready to fly?". "Me! Me! Like a superhero!", Dennis said, to which Dracula said, "Better, like a vampire!". "Well, maybe the kid isn't supposed to fly.", Lincoln said, but Lucy interrupted, "Quiet, this is how they learn. Right, Drac?".
"Right, you throw them, and they figure it out themselves.", Dracula said, "It's how I learned how to fly.". "I wanna fly now!", Dennis said. "Attabat!", Dracula said, "So are you guys ready?". Most of the monsters and Lincoln said, "No.", but Lucy joined in with Drac.
"Here...", Lucy said, "We...", Drac added, and the the duo said, "Go!", as Dracula threw Dennis off the tower. Soon, everyone looked over the edge, and noticed Dennis falling.
As everyone said that Dennis might die, Lucy and Drac just said that he will be just fine. But then Lucy soon regrets this decision, which causes Dracula to get saved by Dracula, and he said, "Papa's always here for you.".
Lucy soon went down to see Dennis, and she hugs him, saying, "You're safe now.". Soon Dana arrives, and he was so shocked, because he might call the authorities about what just happened, saying it might be child endangerment. "Whoa, whoa whoa.", Drac said, "Your singing was child endangerment.", with Lucy agreeing with him.
"Should we go help him?", Frank asked, as he and the others are still on the rickety tower. "No.", Lincoln said, "I think Lucy and Drac have it under control.".
"We have to call the boy's mother!", said Dana, but Lucy interrupted, "Well, that ain't happening. Right, Drac?". "Yeah, his mother's already nutsy cuckoo!", Drac said, but Dana said, "I have to follow protocol!". Soon, Drac did his hypno eyes, and Lucy said, "You will not follow protocol.". "I'm a vampire. So I can't be hypnotized.", Dana said. "Drat!", Lucy shouted.
"Now please,", Dana said, "Don't make me call the police.". "No one's calling nobody!", Lucy said, as she accidentally started a fire on the rickety old tower, and everyone went down safely, except for Frank who caught on fire, and was screaming like heck.
Soon, Dennis went up to Lucy and said, "Are we bad guys, Lucy?". "Bad?", Lucy asked, as she noticed Dennis' somber face. "No,", she said, "It wasn't our fault. It was the tower, right Drac?". "Right. That's a pretty unsafe tower!", Drac shouted to Dana, "You're lucky that WE didn't call the authorities!".
"C'mon, let's go home.", Dracula said, with Dennis saying, "Cebause, I'm Batman, to the Batmobile!". "Yeah, to the Bat...", Lucy tried to say, before the tower landed on the hearse, burning it.
In California, Mavis was with Johnny, Luan, and Leni, as the three tried to make her feel better. "Sorry about all that stuff, I thought you might like it.", Johnny said, with Mavis asking, "Why do I feel so weird here?".
"No, it's them that are acting weird, not you.", Leni said, which made Mavis a little better. "Well, it's just that,", Mavis said, "I've learned nothing from that hotel. And you guys learned everything growing up in Santa Claus and Rural Webs.". "You mean Santa Cruz?", Johnny corrected, with Luan saying, "And Royal Woods?".
"Maybe if Dennis grows up away from Transylvania,", Mavis suggested, "He wouldn't be so freaky. Like me.". "Are you kidding?!", Luan said, "You had fun here. You're like us when we were little, curious about the world, and learning new things.". "Yeah,", Johnny said, "Besides, if Dennis grows up to be like you, I'd be the luckiest dad ever.".
"You know what?", Mavis said, "You guys are right. As long as we're together. We'd be happy anywhere.". The group soon did a big hug, but then Leni has gotten a notification on her phone. "What're you doing?", Mavis asked, to which Leni said, "I just a notification of a YouTube video! This kid is a daredevil!".
Soon, Mavis looked at the video, and noticed Dennis falling from the tower. "Wait, is that Dennis?!", Mavis said, and Leni, who was now panicking, said, "Oops, I've deleted it, so it's gone.". Mavis then decided to pull out her phone, and call her father.
At the blazing campsite, everyone just stared at the fire, but then, Dracula gets the worst phone call of his life. "Oh, no!", he said, "It's Mavis!", to which he told everyone that's he's not going to answer it, however he had to.
"Hey, honeybunch.", Dracula said, but Mavis, all stern said, "Dad, where are you?". "Uh, we are just having a cookout at the hotel.", Dracula said, but as firetrucks appear at the campground, Mavis asked, "What's that noise, is that a siren?!".
"Uh, no, it was actually a bunch of banshees flying by.", Dracula said, "Quiet you banshees, we're trying to have a perfectly safe cookout over here!". "Mommy!", Dennis said, "I wanna talk to her!", to which he tried to tell his mother what happened, but at the same time, Dana asked about who's calling.
Soon, Dracula did the same fake static that Lincoln did, and Mavis said, "Dad, you better get home right now. Because if you don't, you'll be very sorry.". "What's going on?", Leni asked, to which Mavis said, while walking down the wall, "We need to get home, right now!".
Leni, Luan, and Johnny landed on the soft grass. "Need I remind you. That we don't have the suction cup feet power like you.", Luan said, while Johnny goes back in the house to get his backpack.
