"Good evening." A lady said on the news. "The sudden resurgence in anti-mutant activity continued today." It showed several protesters in front of a school as police broke them up. "Across the state, police were again brought in to escort mutant students to class. Any show of sympathy for the mutants is risky, as this amateur video shows." It showed a pizza store with a sign that said mutants welcome being blown up. "Meanwhile, anti-mutant spokesperson Graydon Creed was brought from seclusion to testify before Congress."
It showed Creed up at the podium. "While I deny any involvement in these actions, patriotic human beings everywhere support vigilante efforts to remove the mutant blight!"
"No more mutants!" The crowd behind him chanted. "No more mutants!"
"Mr. Creed, if these outbursts continue, I will hold you in contempt!" A congresswoman threatened.
"The feeling, madam, is mutual." Creed said without a care.
At the headquarters of the Friends of Humanity, the council was having a meeting. They were dressed in suits but wore cloaks that resembled those of the Ku Klux Klan.
"The meeting of the Friends of Humanity High Command is called to order." One member said. "First, let us warmly welcome back our founder, Graydon Creed."
Creed walked up to them. "Thank you; now that I'm back, I'm ready to resume my position as your commander."
"You?" One member said incredulously. "Who've been drooling in your tin cup for a year? Who nearly destroyed us?"
"The council rules here now!" Another member stated.
"This is treason!" Creed cried at the council's decision. "The Friends of Humanity is my creation!"
"You lied about your mutant parentage." The council member pointed out. "You brought the stain of Sabretooth into our lives!"
"That name!" Creed's eyes widened at the reminder of who his father was. "Every night in the hospital, I'd lie in bed. I'd see that face in the darkness, that awful..." He fell to his knees. "Isn't my shame punishment enough? What do I need to do to show you that I am still one of you?"
"Our research shows that the corruption of your blood does not end with Sabretooth." The council member then threw an envelope at Creed. "Read it."
"No!" Creed was in despair at the contents he read. "No! It isn't true!"
"Oh, but it is." The council member said. "Your family tree bears much poisonous mutant fruit."
"Wait!" Creed said hysterically. "What if I prove my loyalty? What if I deliver these freaks, these mutant abominations, to you? We could eliminate them all!"
"Go on." The council member prompted, interested in what Creed had planned.
It was Halloween, and a trio of children ran up to the doors of the institute and rang the doorbell.
"Trick or treat!" They chanted in excitement. This rich place looked like it would have the best candy.
The doors swung open as a skeleton roared at them, making them run away in terror.
"Hey?" The skeleton teased. "Don't you kids want your candy?"
The skeleton closed the door to see Wolverine next to him, laughing his ass off.
"Nice one, Casper." Logan praised. "You really know how to get into the Halloween spirit."
Danny couldn't help but chuckle as he wore his Jack Skellington costume. "Of course I do; I'm a ghost."
The doorbell then rang again.
"Ooh." Wolverine was excited as he put on a mask. "Next one is mine."
"Trick or treat!" The kids cried.
Logan opened the door. "Ok, I choose trick!" He stepped out of the shadows wearing a mask of Beast's face that scared the kids.
"Oh, nice." Jubilee said as she walked up to them with Rogue by her side. They, too, were dressed in costumes. Jubilee was dressed up like a vampire, while Rogue was dressed like Jack's girlfriend, Sally.
"Beast won't appreciate you using his face to give them nightmares." Jubilee said to Logan.
"Lighten up, sugar." Rogue giggled. "Let the boys have their fun."
"Where did you get a mask of Beast's face?" Danny asked Wolverine.
"I made it." Logan answered.
"Cool." Danny complimented. "Can you make me one?"
"Danny!" Jubilee scolded.
"What?" Danny asked. "The craftsmanship is remarkable."
"Still, it's not cool to be scaring the kids." Jubilee reminded them.
"Isn't that what Halloween's all about?" Wolverine retorted. "What do you think, Casper? You're a ghost, so you must know what the meaning of Halloween is."
"Halloween is about getting people to give you lots of candy and then trying to eat it all in one night." Jubilee pointed out.
"It is when you're a kid." Danny said. "Then, when you're a teenager, it's all about the parties and the haunted houses. Then, when you're an adult, it's about dressing up in costumes and doing it while wearing said costumes."
"Danny!" Rogue blushed at what he said, although he was right on that part. She and her boyfriend were planning on having sex while wearing their costumes.
"What? You know it's true." Danny said. "Then, when you're an old person, you just want to watch TV in peace, and you leave the porchlights off, hoping the kids take that as a sign to piss off and leave you alone."
"That's where I am." Wolverine grumbled.
"What's bugging you, Wolverine?" Jubilee asked, noticing his bad mood.
"Every year, it's the same." Logan muttered bitterly. "Bunch of brats run around dressed like monsters and mutants. Everybody says, how cute. Then next day, they get to go back to normal. Where do we go?"
"I understand, Wolverine." Danny told him. "One of the reasons I've grown to love Halloween is that I get a day where all the supernatural elements of my kind are not feared but embraced and celebrated." He then handed Wolverine the Beast mask. "Now come on, put this mask back on, and let's scare some more kids."
Wolverine smirked. "You read my mind, Casper."
The good mood was interrupted when Danny's ghost sense went off, putting them all on edge.
"Of course we have to put up with a ghost on Halloween." Jubilee said as she rolled her eyes.
"I think it's coming from out there." Danny went to the doors as he heard the doorbell ring.
Wolverine raised an eyebrow. "A ghost ringing a doorbell? That's a first."
"I know." Danny took off his mask and opened the door to be greeted by Kurt, who was wearing a trench coat. "Oh hey, Kurt, how are you doing, buddy? You want candy?"
"Maybe later, Danny, I need your help." Nightcrawler said urgently.
"What is it?" Danny let him in.
"I received a letter at the monastery." Nightcrawler explained. "It says that if I do not come, they will hurt my mother." He handed the letter to Danny. "Who would do such a thing?"
"Who's they?" Wolverine asked.
"I have no idea." Nightcrawler answered. "It is not signed."
"Have you called your mother at the circus?" Danny asked.
"No." Nightcrawler corrected. "No, not that mother. The Wagners, who own the circus, my adoptive parents, are fine. The letter is from my birth mother."
"I thought your mom ditched you when you were a baby." Wolverine reminded him. "How do you know this is legit?"
"The handwriting in the letter matches the one she left for me long ago." Nightcrawler revealed.
Danny read the letter. "Come alone, or the consequences could be fatal."
"Do you know of anybody who'd want to hurt her?" Jubilee asked Kurt.
"Of course not." Nightcrawler responded. "I didn't even know she was still alive."
"She may not be." Wolverine whispered to himself.
"I don't know what to do." Kurt confessed. "I am overwhelmed. You X-Men are experienced with such things."
"Well, you've come to the right place, honey." Rogue said.
"Yeah, we've tangled with just about every jerk around." Jubilee agreed.
"We'll find your mother, Kurt." Danny promised him. "Don't worry."
"Somebody's gone to a lot of trouble to track you down." Wolverine said as he looked at the letter. "And use your mom to get to you. Who'd have his pants in a twist over a blue-faced monk?"
Kurt shook his head. "I do not know. But my mother is in danger; I must help her."
"Well, count us in, pal." Danny patted him on the back. "We've got your back on this."
"But the letter said I must go alone." Kurt reminded them.
"And you will. Or rather appear to be." Danny turned invisible for a few seconds. "Come on, guys, we've got a mother to save."
"I just realized Kurt looks a lot like Beast." Jubilee said to Rogue. "I wonder if they're related?"
Rogue snorted. "Girl, that's about as likely as Nightcrawler and me being kin."
The X-Men were in the Blackbird when Jubilee went to the back, where Kurt was. The blue mutant was standing upside down and reading the Bible.
"Can I talk to you for a second?" She asked him.
"Of course, Fraulein." Kurt said.
"Danny says the things you said to Wolverine meant a lot to him." Jubilee said.
Kurt got down from the ceiling. "Our time together meant a great deal to both of us."
"There's something I need to ask you." Jubilee said hesitantly. "I don't know who my parents are either. I was never really adopted like you. One family would have me for a while, then they'd get tired of me, and I'd get put somewhere else. That was until I met Steve and Martha. They were nice foster parents, and Danny was a cool foster brother. But at times I feel like I don't belong anywhere."
"We all feel like that, but in times like these, we must see that there are bonds more powerful than blood." Nightcrawler comforted her. "Your foster family might not be your blood, but you can say that your bond with them is strong, right? And what about your bond with the X-Men? Or with Danny?"
"Yes, it is strong." Jubilee admitted. "Especially with Danny. But what if this is your mom? What'll you say? I mean, she dumped you when you were a baby. Aren't you mad?"
"I suppose I am, but I feel like I must get the full story before I make any further decisions." Kurt replied.
"And if it isn't as nice as you hoped?" Jubilee asked.
"Then I will have the help of my true friends and family, along with God, to help me through it." Kurt said as he held the Bible to his chest. "I am nervous about confronting my mother alone; that is why I'm happy to have you X-Men with me."
"And what if your mom really abandoned you? Will you hate her?" Jubilee didn't want to see someone as nice as Kurt go through that pain.
"Perhaps I might on some level, but I can't let my own bitterness at my abandonment consume me." Kurt said wisely. "It will only lead to more heartbreak and hurt me in the end."
"I hope it doesn't come to that." Jubilee muttered.
Kurt nodded. "Me too."
The Blackbird landed in the forest as they all got out.
They were then looking at the nearby dam from a distance.
"This is looking way too easy." Wolverine observed the dam through his binoculars. He sniffed the area. "I smell a rat."
"I shouldn't have brought you." Kurt said. "If they see you, they might hurt my mother."
"That's why we're going invisible." Danny said as the X-Men all joined hands as Danny turned them invisible.
"I forgot you could do that." Kurt admitted.
"Now come on, Kurt." Rogue encouraged. "Let's go find your mama."
They approached the entrance undetected and phased through the door as they turned visible, with Danny knocking out the guard.
Wolverine looked at the unconscious man's attire. "Friends of Humanity! I thought we'd gotten rid of this filth!"
"Who are these friends?" Kurt asked.
"Let's just say that with friends like these, who needs enemies?" Danny told him.
"They live to get rid of mutants." Jubilee added. "Man, I hope they don't have your mom."
The X-Men were looking around the spacious area.
"How did we miss this place?" Rogue said in disbelief. "It's as big as their main headquarters."
"Jubilee, you and Wolverine go and cause a diversion in case we need it." Danny ordered as he made a copy. "I'll send a duplicate with you in case you need it. Rogue, Nightcrawler, and I will find his mom and get her out of here."
Kurt thanked Danny. "My friend, if something should happen to me, I wish to thank you for what you and the others are doing."
Danny smiled. "You won't have to."
"Don't worry about it, Kurt." Wolverine said. "I owe you, and besides, I'd take on these lowlifes for nothing!"
Wolverine, Jubilee, and the copy were looking around the storage room.
"Whoa!" Jubilee exclaimed. "Look at all this stuff! These guys must have got a new credit card!"
"It looks like they're about to try something big." Wolverine said as he looked at the crates that were labeled.
The copy could see some that said blasters and grenades.
"And I don't want to see it come to fruition." The copy said.
Wolverine pulled out his communicator. "Rogue! Any luck?"
"Quiet as a church on Saturday night." Rogue whispered as she and her boyfriend flew through the halls. She then noticed Kurt crawling on the ceiling. "Oh, sorry, Nightcrawler."
"Then just find his mother and get moving!" Wolverine ordered.
"Shouldn't we help them?" Kurt asked.
"They can take care of themselves, and they have a copy of Danny with them." Rogue assured him. "The three of us have got to help your mama."
They approached a locked door where they could hear the faint voice of a woman.
"Help me." She moaned. "Someone please!"
"Mother!" Kurt cried. "I am..." He paused a bit in nervousness. "I am here! I'll help you!"
"Kurt!" The woman pleaded. "Hurry, son!"
Danny and Rogue looked at each other. The voice sounded familiar.
"You don't think?" Danny said.
"I think it is." Rogue got in front of Kurt before he could open the door. "Kurt, hold on! We know that voice!" Kurt teleported in. "Wait! Don't go in!"
Rogue knocked the door down as she and Danny walked in. Kurt turned to see a woman with blue skin dressed in white walk out of the shadows.
"Mother?" Kurt asked in astonishment.
"Mystique?" Rogue said in shock and a bit of anger.
"It really is the blue bitch." Danny said.
"Rogue!" Mystique cried out in surprise at seeing her here.
A metal door sealed off the exit.
Rogue glared at Mystique. "I don't know what tricks you're playing, Mystique, but nobody's touching Nightcrawler."
"What are you doing here?" Mystique scolded her. "You'll ruin everything! They just want your brother!"
"Brother?" Kurt and Rogue said in shock.
"Well, now we know why Kurt's blue." Danny shrugged. "Still doesn't explain why he triggers my ghost sense."
"We're leaving!" Rogue cried. "Danny, phase us out of here."
"Rogue, please, I must know!" Kurt protested. He turned to his mother. "Have you told us the truth about being our mother?"
"There's no time for this!" Rogue said impatiently.
Kurt didn't care. He needed to know the truth. "I must know."
"Dear little Kurt, I always wondered how you'd turn out." Mystique said. "If you must know, I adopted Rogue when she was a young child. But before that, I bore two children. One of them was you."
"And the other, I am sickened to admit, was me." Creed said from his observation deck.
"Graydon Creed!" Rogue said in disbelief.
"You're my brother?" Nightcrawler muttered.
"He's your brother?" Rogue was now disgusted, as that meant that bigot was now her adoptive brother.
Danny had his mind on other things. "Mystique fucked Sabretooth? Eww!"
"Yes!" Creed cried. "It was bad enough to find out that Sabretooth is my father. But then to learn that these freaks are what's left of my family, it was enough to drive me mad!"
"You are my brother?" Kurt repeated loud enough for Creed to hear.
Creed started banging on the glass in rage. "Don't ever call me brother! Once I am rid of you all, I will be truly cleansed! Free of your curse!"
"This is not how I wanted to spend my Halloween." Danny sighed. "With my girlfriend, sure. But not with her bitch of an adoptive mother along with her Nazi of a foster brother."
"If you are indeed my brother, then I will pray to God that you find wisdom to work through your hatreds, to find strength in love." Kurt said with compassion.
"Waste of a prayer if you ask me, Kurt." Danny said to him. "There are some things not even God can do, and that includes having that douchebag find love."
"Pretty words for a demon!" Creed laughed at Kurt's words.
Rogue then confronted her adoptive mother. "Mystique, I can't believe you would hand over your own son to a bunch of mutant-haters."
"I could." Danny added.
"You know what, Danny? You're right, I should've believed it." Rogue said. "After all, she tried to groom me to be a terrorist."
"I did it for you, darling." Mystique confessed. "You know you were always my favorite."
Danny shook his head. "Showing favoritism, not the sign of a good parent."
"Shut up!" The blue woman snarled at him. "I can't believe I have to put up with you! You always ruin everything!"
"Don't you talk to my boyfriend like that!" Rogue yelled at her. "He's just telling the truth. Now what's going on?"
"Creed said if I helped him get Nightcrawler, the Friends of Humanity wouldn't harm either of us." Mystique confessed.
Danny looked at her like she was stupid. "And you trust the word of a Nazi?"
"He's right!" Creed agreed before he realized what Danny said. "Not about the Nazi part, but the part of trusting my word. Don't soft-soap the girl! You were saving your own skin and nobody else's!" He then pressed a button as gas filled the room. "This gas is perfect for treating tap water or eliminating unwanted relatives."
"Of course the Nazi has harmful gas." Danny coughed.
"I am not a Nazi!" Creed cried.
"Nazi says what?" Danny said quickly.
"What?" Creed said in puzzlement.
"You proved my point." Danny coughed.
"God, forgive me and give me strength." Kurt teleported to where Creed was and tackled him. "Stop this! She is our mother! She gave you life!"
"She is a mutant!" Creed yelled. "She gave me misery and shame! She has to suffer! All mutants must suffer!"
Danny telepathically informed his copy of what was going on.
Seconds later, the copy phased into the room with Wolverine and Jubilee. He shot ecto-blasts at the nozzles spraying the gas. "Alright, the gas is dealt with." The copy phased with the original.
"Guys, we've got some big news." Danny told them. "Turns out Nightcrawler's mom is Mystique."
"What!" They cried out.
"And not only that, but Graydon Creed is Kurt's half-brother." Danny revealed.
"Boy, talk about your soap operas!" Jubilee commented.
Wolverine saw that Kurt was missing. "Where's Nightcrawler?"
Rogue pointed to where they were. "Up there. With Creed."
"I do not wish to fight you, brother." Kurt said as he dodged Creed's punches. "Please let us talk."
"Then stand still, you abomination!" Creed demanded.
Kurt appeared on the ceiling and grabbed Creed.
"What kind of madman are you?" Kurt shouted at him. "All those soldiers, all of these weapons!"
"We've started a little war, my kind versus yours." Creed got out of Kurt's grip.
He tried to punch him, but Kurt teleported out of the way, causing Creed to punch the wall as he clutched his hand in pain.
Kurt teleported back to where the X-Men were.
"Hate to break up the family reunion; actually, I don't, but we've got to get out of here." Danny said.
"Not without Mystique." Kurt said.
They all looked around to see that she disappeared when they weren't looking.
"She's gone!" Jubilee pointed out.
"Ah. Nothing more touching than a mother's love." Wolverine said sarcastically.
The F.O.H. guards were looking for the intruders when they came across one of their own who was injured.
"Which way did they go?" One guard asked him.
The injured man pointed in a direction.
"Come on!" The guard prompted the others. "They went this way!"
When they were gone, the injured man changed form into that of Mystique. "Rather dim, for saviors of mankind."
"Pinheads got us trapped in here!" Wolverine saw them firing into the room.
"Everyone, grab hold of me." Danny ordered and they complied as he turned them all intangible and phased them through the wall where they were on top of the dam.
"If there's one thing I hate, it's walking away from a good fight." Wolverine said disappointedly.
Kurt turned to his left and saw Mystique running away.
Rogue noticed this too, as she placed her hand on his shoulder. "Let her go, preacher!"
"No! I have waited too long for this moment!" Kurt teleported away.
"Not again!" Rogue was about to follow when Danny stopped her.
"No, Rogue." He said to her. "He needs to work this out. We can't stop him."
He then turned the two of them intangible as F.O.H. guards started to fire on them.
Danny fired back at them before noticing helicopters coming toward them, with Creed climbing into one of them.
Danny was exasperated with these jerks. "Doesn't look like they're gonna let us just walk away. These assholes ruined my Halloween, and for that they will pay."
Meanwhile, Mystique was making her escape when Kurt appeared in front of her.
"I don't mean you any harm!" Mystique cried in fear. "Don't hurt me! What do you want from me?"
"The truth! I have lived twenty-five years and traveled four thousand miles, wishing only to know the truth."
"Alright then, the truth." Mystique said as she started to shapeshift into various women. "I have been many women in my time, some rich, some poor. Rich, I find, is preferable. I was married to an Austrian count. Not handsome, but his money made up for that. We led a life of luxury. Until I had an affair with some man who seemed out of this world. I ended up getting pregnant with you, and I gave birth to a mutant son! The neighbors were not pleased."
"And that is when you abandoned me." Kurt said sadly.
"My shameful secret had been revealed." Mystique said without remorse or regret. "The would-be countess was a mutant! I had to start over. You were inconvenient. I suppose you hate me for that."
"No, but I am sad for you." Kurt said, shocking Mystique with his response.
"Sad?" Mystique repeated. "You want to talk about sad? I am a shapeshifter. An outcast, even among mutants, trusted by no one. I don't have a life of my own. I just steal bits and pieces from other people's lives. But that's how I survive! So there's your truth, son! I didn't want you! Still sad for me?"
"I will beg God to bestow his grace on me so that I may learn to forgive you." Kurt said. "Then I will ask him to bestow his grace on you, so that you might forgive yourself."
"Let's get his attention." Rogue said as she and Danny flew up into the sky. The helicopters fired on Rogue, but Danny was holding on to her, making them intangible, so the shots just went through them.
"That's it, boys!" Rogue taunted. "Keep your eye on the birdie!"
The two lovers tricked the helicopters into firing at each other as Creed watched on.
"Cease fire, you fools! Cease fire!" He tried firing at them, but he couldn't land a hit on them. "Why aren't the shots hitting her? How is that possible?"
"Nice shooting, deadeye!" Rogue teased another helicopter as she broke the tail.
"Very clever, you two, but you can't be in two places at once!" Creed prepared to fire at the two.
"But I can." A copy of Danny said, scaring Creed.
"You!" Creed pulled out a gun, but Danny grabbed his wrist, causing the gun to be aimed at the controls. Creed squeezed the trigger, causing the controls to be destroyed.
"Man, you have shitty aim." The copy said before disappearing as Creed parachuted out of the helicopter.
"I almost got you killed to save my own skin." Mystique pointed out, confused about why Kurt would forgive her. "Why should you, or your God, care about me?"
"As for God, he cares for all of us and wants us to be healed." Kurt said. "As for me, you are my mother. I cannot change the pain you have caused me, so I will pray for you."
Mystique had tears in her eyes. "I don't deserve your..." She stopped as she saw Creed's unpiloted helicopter coming at them.
She pushed Kurt out of the way as the two shared one last look.
"Prayers." Mystique finished as the helicopter collided with the dam and exploded, knocking her into the water below.
Kurt teleported down and frantically tried to search for her. "Mother! Where are you?" He got washed along by the stream. "I shall..." He coughed. "I shall save you!"
Rogue was flying above the dam and noticed Kurt in the water. "This ain't no time to play Good Samaritan." She lifted him out of the river. "You ain't saving nobody tonight, preacher. We're getting you home."
Jubilee, Danny, and Wolverine overlooked the damaged dam.
"Now they arrest those guys." Jubilee complained. "Not for attacking mutants, but for blowing up a dam."
"Damn." Danny said as Jubilee glared at him. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself."
"What about Mystique?" Jubilee asked. "You find anything?"
Danny shook his head. "Nope. Nothing left but a bunch of questions."
He went up to Rogue, who was comforting Kurt.
"Why did she sacrifice herself for me?" Kurt wondered.
"I don't know." Rogue confessed.
"Maybe she had somewhat of a heart buried inside of her, and you managed to find it." Danny suggested as he sat beside Kurt. "If anyone could do it, it's definitely you."
Unknown to them, Mystique was walking away from the site, tears still in her eyes.
"You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, preacher." Rogue comforted her new brother. "This faith of yours has an effect on folks. Maybe you got through to her."
"Ah. God only knows." Kurt said.
"I doubt even God knows what goes on in her head." Danny said. "Look, Kurt I know this has been a tough time for you, but look on the bright side. You have a sister now. That's pretty cool."
Kurt smiled at his friend. "Yeah, it is pretty cool." He turned to Rogue. "If you will have me as your brother."
Rogue grinned. "Of course, Kurt. You're family now."
"Come on, guys, let's bring it in." Danny brought the two in for a hug. They stayed like that for a couple of seconds before Danny broke the silence.
"I still can't believe Mystique did it with Sabretooth." Danny commented. "I just don't see that."
Rogue had a look of disgust on her face. "Danny, do you have to put that image in our heads?"
"I'm just wondering what led to that." Danny defended. "I mean, was it a drunk one-night stand or did they actually want to do it?"
"I think your thinking on this too much, my friend." Kurt told him.
"Yeah, you're right." Danny said as he headed towards the Blackbird. "Let's go home."
Kurt looked at Rogue. "You must really be happy, Rogue, to have him as a boyfriend."
"You don't know the half of it, Kurt." Rogue looked at Danny lovingly. "By the way, are you able to officiate weddings?"
"I haven't done it before, but I feel like I may be able to do it." Kurt answered.
"Good, cause I want my brother to be the one who pronounces me and Danny husband and wife." Rogue told him.
Kurt liked the idea. "It will be nice to have Danny as a brother-in-law."
"It will be nice to have him as a husband." Rogue said.
Wolverine and Jubilee were still looking at the wreckage.
"What happened to Creed?" Jubilee asked.
"What didn't?" Wolverine replied.
Creed woke up to find himself tied up with a parachute on. Looking around, he found he was on a plane with the F.O.H. council members.
"Mr. Creed, back among the living?" A council member addressed him.
"Listen to me." Creed begged. "I admit, I wasn't completely successful, but..."
Another member interrupted him. "Your plan failed miserably! Full of sloppy mistakes and a curious omission, which we shall now remedy."
"No!" Creed cried.
"But we are not without mercy." A member said. "We shall let you sort it out, starting with the part you weren't willing to clean up!"
"No!" Creed was pushed out of the plane as his parachute went off. He found himself being blown into the direction of a house with a shadowy figure standing on the porch.
"Not that!" Creed was terrified now.
"Well, well." The shadowy figure said as Creed landed.
"Sabretooth!" Creed exclaimed in fear at being in the presence of his father.
"If it ain't my son, the famous slayer of mutants!" Sabretooth smirked at him.
"You don't understand!" Creed tried to explain before Sabretooth grabbed him. "No!"
"What do you say, boy?" Sabretooth said.
"No!" Creed prayed for someone to save him.
"Come to Papa!" Sabretooth taunted.
"No!" Creed shouted to the heavens.
