Logan looks at the time stamp on the CCTV footage of his son standing on the roof above them. This is where he was when the shooter was supposedly running amok at ATN. He'd gone up to the roof, for no apparent reason, looked over the low wall to the ground 15 floors below, and stayed there until he had been found.

Kendall's behaviour has become increasingly erratic. The drug use is one thing, they're all used to that, but then one of Logan's people had come to him with the same words he'd heard more than 25 years ago when Kendall was barely a teenager. Your son has been witnessed shoplifting. When he showed Ken the video of himself pocketing various items, all of which were thrown out as soon as he left the store, Ken just stared blankly at the screen and said I guess it looks a bit like me.

Logan has enough to worry about, what with Mo's death, this bloody biography being released and trying to buy PGM, without his number one boy going full kleptomaniac. He'd told Kendall that it had to stop and Kendall just nodded absently. The vacantness worried Logan more than when Ken was trying to steal his company.

When the gun went off and Logan was rushed to the safe room, his first thought was Where's Kendall? Connor was on his way to the funeral, Romulus was safe at management training and Siobhan… Where was Siobhan? That was his second thought.

"I think we need more security on the roof," he informs Colin, who's still hovering protectively in the corner. "Some glass walls, maybe. After that maniac shot himself—" Culture of bullying my arse… "We don't want any more incidents."

Colin nods. "I'll let the maintenance people know."

Logan continues to watch Kendall standing on the exposed roof on the screen. For a moment his son turns to look at the camera.
