I interrupted her with a firm, "Enough."

"Glimmer, we've attained the gold rank. There's no need for us to fight any longer. If she succeeds, none of us will have to either."
"I...YOU...SHE...ARGH!" Glimmer stormed away in frustration.

"Don't be. She'll find her peace eventually. Just...promise to return to us, alright?"
"I will. The moment I finish what we need to do, I won't rest until I'm back by your side."
We embraced, tears welled in our eyes. I know Glimmer felt the same, then Mio vanished.
I can only hold onto the hope that we'll live to see her again, or that she'll find us. According to our commander, we're relocating to a covert site due to our newly acquired rank. It feels a tad suspicious, but hopefully, we can tackle whatever challenges lie ahead.
