3rd P.O.V
As they walked Jasper could tell that his little mate was nervous. "It'll be alright, Darlin." He said in her ear as they strolled into the cafeteria. They grabbed lunch and he led her to the table. Both sat down. Serenity was sat between Jasper and a pixie like vampire. Jasper took notice of how tense she was, so he put his arm around her and rubbed gentle circles on her clothed shoulder. She relaxed and looked up at him.
"Hi, Serenity, I'm Alice!" The vampire beside her said and went to throw her arms around her, but stopped as Serenity flinched in Jaspers hold. Alice dropped her arms with a frown.
"I apologize, I am not comfortable with touch." She explained. The blonde woman across from her snorted.
"Yet you seem comfortable in Jasper's arms." She said hotly. Serenity flinched against Jasper's side harshly and grabbed his other hand, and intertwined their fingers.
"We are mates, it's only natural, and he doesn't seem to mind, right?" She quipped looking at their fingers. Jasper squeezed her hand bringing it up to his lips, brushing his lips across her knuckles.
"Course not, Darlin, Rose, I know you don't like humans but this is my mate." Jasper said, and his voice sounded hurt.
"It's okay, Jay, I'll just prove I'm good enough for you." Serenity said, squeezing his hand back. Jasper growled lowly. "Ya don't-" he went to say, but she interrupted him.
"I do to her, it's obvious she cares for you and doesn't want to see you hurt, not that I ever would, this must be your, 'twin,' Rosalie, and before anyone asks, I just know shit." She explained to the group of vampires. Rosalie's mouth dropped open. She wasn't expecting this. 'As if we are like regular humans in the first place.' The General commented.
"What do you mean?" Asked a bronzed haired vampire. He wondered what she meant by just knowing shit. Edward, he can read minds, but he can't hear the gift or The General, and Aphrodite. her gift supplies, instead of answering she tries to test this theory.

"Breaking Benjamin, seriously, Dance with the devil?" Edward questions. Everyone at the table looks at her. "If the shoe fits." Is all she offered in response. The Major laughed in the back of Jasper's mind. 'Oh, I will make her dance with me.' He purred. Edward snorted.
"Hey, what's so funny, dude you're awesome, I've never seen anyone talk to my Rose like that!" Emmett explained and winced as Rosalie slapped him upside the head.
"Don't worry about it, you must be Emmett, nice to meet ya." Serenity said with a grin.
"You too, short stack." Emmett said with a grin. Serenity sent him a glare.
"Ohh, Em, kitten has claws." Ashton said as her gift supplied her with a name. Serenity lets out a hiss. "I am not a cat!" She exclaimed venomously. Jasper guffawed.
"I don't know, the name kitten might just suit ya, kitten.' He purred into her ear. His tongue tracing the shell of her ear. Serenity shuddered and then leveled him with a dark look. In his mind The Major sucked in a breath.
"Careful there Cowboy, just because we are getting to know each other doesn't mean you can try that, you might find yourself in trouble." She mumbled, and sent him a wave of mischief, before bringing his hand to her lips. Another wave of mischief followed by just a bit of hesitation, and then she brought his hand to her lips. She ran her lips across his knuckles and rubbed the scar on the back of his palm, and then. 'Oh gods,' Jasper thought as he felt her tongue trace that scar. The Major let out a snarl that he couldn't help but let echo in her ear. She pulled away her cheeks flaming red. Rosalie laughed, "Okay, I like you, you're obviously beating The Major at his own games." She said with a giggle. Serenity shot her a grin. Jasper huffed against her ear, and she let out a squeak when he kissed her cheek and then pressed his tongue flat against her skin, and then he licked her. He pulled back with a smirk as the bell rang.
"Come on, Serenity, we have art next." Alice squealed.
"Alright, Jay, walk me to class?" She asked.
"Course Darlin," He said and stood up, pulling her with him. The three set out to the art room. It was the end of school and Serenity headed to the office. Only to find a paler than usual Bella standing at the door.
"Bells?" She asked, concerned. Bella whipped her head around with eyes that reminded Serenity of a deer caught in headlights. Bella cleared her throat and her eyes became a brown raging storm.
"Come on," she said grabbing Serenity's hand and went to drag her into the office right as Edward came out with the worst glare directed at Bella, making the human girl flinch.
'Oi, Watch it, Edward, that's my charge!' She growled in her mind. Edwards' eyes snapped to hers with a glare. She glared back and her eyes darken just a little.
"Watch where you're going!" He snarled aloud. From across the lot, Jasper growled low in his throat at Edward for his tone.
"Why don't ya watch ya self, boy!" She snapped back on the verge of releasing The General. 'How dare he, tryin ta give us orders.' The General growled darkly. Edwards' eyes widened as Serenity's thoughts went fuzzy for a moment and he didn't hear the General. Edward huffed and pushed past them making Serenity tense and catch Bella as she stumbled. Serenity could tell her mate was pissed. She sent him a wave of calm and affection. "Cool your jets there, Major, I'm fine." She said quietly so Bella wouldn't hear, sending him a wave of reassurance.
"Come on, Bella, we have to meet Charlie for dinner soon." She said and guided a shocked Bella into the office. As soon as they left school Bella started asking questions.
"Where were you? You missed half the day, and why did you sit with the Cullens at lunch?" She asked. Serenity sighed and saw no reason to lie to her. After all Bella did know the secret.
"Remember ole red eyes?" She asked and Bella snorted.
"Like I could forget the vampire you saved me from, what does- oh." Bella said in realization.
"Yep, and one of them, the blonde I was so close with at lunch, is my mate." Serenity explained. Bella's eyes widened because Serenity had explained mates, and vampires. She went even so far as to arrange for Bella to meet the Volturi to explain that Bella and her family were under The General's protection. As if they could argue, because The General had done them a service.
"I'm happy for you, Serenity! Do you know what Edwards problem with me is?" Bella asked meekly. Serenity took a look at her friend. The poor girl looked like she was trying not to cry.
"I don't know, but I will find out." She promised. As soon as the Cullen and Hales got home Jasper rounded on Edward.
"What the fuck waa that Edward?" He shouted, holding back The Major. Family or not The Major would let Edward have it.
"Yeah, I might've misjudged Jazz's mate, but you literally pushed her and that other girl out of the way." Rosalie said defensively because she had noticed the way Serenity held herself without Jasper. She was guarded and defensive. As if she was waiting for an attack.
"Edward, you pushed someone? Jasper's mate?" Esme asked standing up with crossed arms.
"It's not like that mom, Edwards freaked out because Isabella, or Bella Swan is his mate. He just freaked out because she is also his singer." Alice explains. Carlisle raised an eyebrow. "That's interesting," He commented, because the mating instinct would keep him from hurting her, but the instinct to feed would still be there. Esme was over the moon with joy.
"That gives you no right ta scare my mate, Edward" Jasper said calming down slightly.
"You're right, Jas, tell her that I am sorry, I think I will go to Alaska for a bit, not for long, mom, just to wrap my head around this and get used to the idea." He stated, cutting off Esme's protest. Alice's eyes glazed over in a vision as she witnessed the conversation between Bella and Serenity that was happening at this time.
"She knows?" Edward choked out with a gasp. Rosalie growled.
"Only because Serenity saved her from being attacked by a vampire." Alice answered and then Jasper growled as well.
"Boys," Esme chastised them. Both their heads snapped to her. "They are safe." She reminded them calming their anger, because how could anyone be angry with Esme? It was impossible. Carlisle watched this in amazement proud that his sons listened despite their instincts.
