Chapter 6

3rd P.O.V

She woke up screaming, and bolted untangling her legs from his. Jasper let her go automatically. He watched as she darted away from him to the furthest corner of the room.

"Darlin?" He asked. Serenity's eyes snapped to him.

"Jasper?" She choked out confused as the panic settles down. Taking a deep breath Serenity draws herself up and walks back over to the bed.

"Sorry, I am used to waking up alone. I guess I just panicked." She said, Jasper just hummed and took her hand pulling her to him.

"I have to get ready for school." She said as he let her go. She went to her closet and pulled out some jeans and her leather boots. She was undecided on a shirt until Jasper came up from behind her. His hands pulled at a black tank top.

"This one." He said.

"I can't wear short sleeves." She mumbled.

"I'll give you my jacket." He bribed with a grin.

"The leather one you're wearing?" She asked. He hummed and placed a kiss on her hair. Taking a deep breath she pulled out the tank top. She went into the bathroom and changed.

As she turned to walk out she noticed her reflection. The bite marks overlapping on her skin and the old scars. "He's gonna find out eventually." She mumbled to herself and took a deep inhale and shyly shuffled out of the bathroom. Jasper's breath caught as he took in her scars and it took everything not to release The Major. Jasper sped in front of her. Serenity flinched back. Jasper reached out a hand hovering over her arm.

"Can I?" He asked lightly grazing his fingers over her arm. She held both arms out. Jasper grabbed both hands and brought them to his lips.

One hand ran up her arm, lightly trailing the scars. Then to her shoulder. He traced the scar from the back of her shoulder up her cheek. He pulled back, shrugging off his jacket and placing it on her.

"Come on Darlin, everyone else is gone, including Bella, I'll drive ya." He said pulling out keys. He had stashed his bike behind some bushes as he got back from changing clothes. Walking out he takes two helmets and puts his on before putting hers on her. He sets up his bike and starts it. She climbed on behind him.

"Hold onto me, tightly, Darlin." He said as they started to move. The vibration from the bike sent shivers down her spine. Jasper smirked as she held tightly to him. She buried her face into his shoulder.

"You better not let me fall, Jay," She said. Jasper took a hand and slipped it behind him and grabbed her hip, he squeezed.

"Never, Darlin." He replied. They were the talk of the school. Apparently they were family friends and had been dating. Bella started the rumor because she didn't want anyone to think it weird how fast it seems that they got to know each other.

"Thanks a lot, Bells," Serenity said strolling out of gym as a group of girls cornered her about dating Jasper.

"Welcome, hey have you seen Edward? I want to confront him." She asked.

"I don't know where he is. Come on, let's go to lunch." Serenity answered.

"Guys this is Serenity," Bella introduced her, as both girls sat down. Bella also introduced Mike, Tyler, Eric, Ben, Lauren, Jessica, and Angela.

"So you're the freak dating Jasper." Lauren said. Serenity put her spoon down.

"Freak?" She asked. Jessica snorted.

"Yeah, not to mention his whole family is weird. I mean who would want you looking like that." Jessica says with a mean smirk. Serenity pulls Jasper's jacket tightly around her. She cuts her eyes to him seeing that Emmett and Edward had what looked to be a brotherly arm around his shoulders, but really they were restraining him.

"I don't have to listen to this." Serenity said standing up, and taking her soup and Dr. Pepper with her. She goes to walk away but Lauren grabs her arm. Serenity freezes dropping her soup.

"Why would he want you anyway with that scar?" She asked, spitting the words. Serenity jerked her arm away from her. She turned slowly, keeping a tight hold to her drink. The coldness of the bottle grounded her and she stood up straighter with The General's strength.

"Actually I think my boyfriend is quite proud of the fact that I survived someone torturing me." She says and walks away as Bella jumps all over her new 'friends' for upsetting her best friend.

"I got him." Serenity says walking up. Emmett moves aside. Serenity sits beside Jasper. Scooting her chair as close to his as possible. She leaned her head on his tense shoulder. The low rumble from his chest softened. She turned to him, his golden eyes really dark. She cupped his cheek.

"Jasp-" She goes to speak.

"Where ya actually tortured." He asked, closing his eyes. The Major was really close.

"Why don't we go outside?" She asked, her answer telling him everything. Jasper stood taking her with him. They walk out and as soon as they enter the forest he can't keep The Major at bay. The Major was really angry. He stepped away from his mate and started to punch a tree. The tree fell over, and he let out a snarl and ran deeper into the forest far away. He knew his mate was following him as he went deeper into the forest. Serenity followed her mate.

'Shit, he's mad.' The General stated. 'Yeah, but you notice how he immediately went for the trees. He could've easily hit us.' Serenity commented. Aphrodite snarled, 'Would Never Hurt Us.' She growled. 'I think I am beginning to understand that.' Serenity replied mentally. She found him in a clearing he had clearly just made. He was pacing and growling. Serenity watched him for a moment as she leaned against one of the trees he hadn't taken out in his rage. "Major?" She called making him stop in his tracks. Onyx eyes locked with green. He sped in front of her and pulled her to his chest.
