Stan's mouth hung open.
He could not believe the story Kyle had just told him. It was so dark and twisted, it had to of been made up.
But Stan could see it on Kyle's face. He spoke with no emotion, and had no emotion on his face other than tears that began to pool in his eyes but never fell. Every single word was true.
"Oh my gosh...Kyle..." Stan spoke softly. He was now scared to touch him, afraid he would break like glass.
"It's alright, Stan. I'm over it, and I have been for a long time." Kyle said and stared straight ahead.
"And I'm not going to sit here and lie to you and say that I didn't love him. I truly loved him with all my heart, and he broke me. The whole situation was my fault. I was young and ignorant. I'm older now, and I know to never make that mistake again." Kyle explained.
"Kyle..." Was the only thing Stan could say as he stared at the boy, the poor broken boy in front of him.
Kyle looked over at Stan.
"Kyle.. dude I'm so sorry. I... I never would have imagined someone like you would ever go though something like that... and I'm sorry I wasn't even there to help." Stan said.
"Stan, look at me. Don't even try to make it seem like it was your fault. Like I said, it was mine. And besides, there was nothing you could have done. I created the mess, so I had to fix it." Kyle said.
"So... so why on earth are they coming after you again? Two years later? It doesn't make any sense!"
"I know. Either Mike has something to say to me or he just wants my body again. Something tells me it's the latter." Kyle sighed. "Thank you for letting me tell you, Stan. I hope you realize just how much you mean to me after this."
"Oh, Kyle. You don't understand. You mean so much to me... Shit, we've only known each other for how long? A week and a half? You mean more to me than anyone I've ever met! I'd do anything to protect you, especially from him. I mean it." Stan said.
Kyle smiled. "Thank you, Stan. I really appreciate it."
The two were quiet. Stan looked over and saw Kyle had his eyes closed again, seeming to be in deep thought.
He took a deep breath.
"Hey, Kyle?" He asked softly.
Kyle opened his eyes. "Yes?"
"Can I do something stupid?"
"I guess so, as long as either of us don't die from it."
Stan was still. His face flushed red. He still wasn't even sure what to do now.
He was frozen, unable to think. Kyle turned to look at him with expectant eyes. They both were silent, staring at each other for a bit too long.
Stan, without thinking, grabbed Kyle's face and pressed his lips against his own.
Kyle's eyes opened wide while Stan's were shut tight, afraid to open them. Kyle blushed. Neither of them moved for ten seconds before Stan suddenly pulled away, still too afraid to look at Kyle.
They were both shocked.
"...Stan..." Kyle whispered.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, oh gosh I'm so sorry Kyle, I just.." Stan said, stuttering over his words.
"Stan. Stan, look at me." Kyle said, his voice soft.
Stan opened his eyes and looked at the redhead. He was surprised to see Kyle didn't look mad, or disgusted, or anything like that.
"Stan? Do you love me?" Kyle asked in the quietest voice Stan's ever heard.
"I..." Stan began before he went silent again.
His eyes opened even wider as Kyle leaned over the middle console, getting closer and closer to him.
"Cause' if you do, I'll let you do that again." Kyle whispered.
Stan was dead silent as he grabbed Kyle's face again.
It was an actual kiss this time. They both closed their eyes, just letting their lips say everything they couldn't put into words. Stan kept one hand on Kyle's cheek while the other wrapped around his back. Kyle had both his hands wrapped around the back of Stan's neck, pulling him close.
To Stan, it just felt so right.
They eventually pulled away, staring into each other's eyes. Stan was panting from the lack of oxygen.
"I'll take that as a yes." Kyle said and smiled.
"Kyle, you have no idea how long I've wanted to do this." Stan said and pulled him into another short kiss. "I've liked you since the moment I saw you. I love you, Kyle. I love you more than anything in the world."
"Is this why you brought me out here? Man, I really killed the moment with my trauma dump, didn't I?" Kyle said and chuckled.
"No, you just made we want to love you even more. Kyle, I love you. I don't care that we've only known each other for a short time, I love you so much. You mean everything to me." Stan said.
"Well, I love you too, Stan." Kyle said.
Stan pulled away and lifted the middle console, turning it into a seat. "Come here..."
Kyle got the message and scooted closer to Stan, who grabbed him by his waist and pulled him as close as he could. Kyle wrapped his arms around Stan's neck.
Stan leaned back against his door while Kyle leaned on top of him. They went back to making out once more.
Stan thought he died and went to heaven. It was perfect, just the two of them loving on each other for who knows how long.
They didn't use tongue, or grind on one another, or do anything further except kiss each other as if it was the last thing they'd do together.
They both pulled away from the make out session with dreamy eyes and red faces.
Stan leaned back in, except this time he kissed Kyle's cheek. He planted short, loving marks along his face and to his ear. He then trailed down to Kyle's neck, making him shiver.
"Somethin' wrong?" Stan asked, his lips still against the other's skin.
"Oh... I know this sounds ridiculous for someone who is half vampire, but my neck is extremely sensitive.." Kyle said.
Stan smiled.
"Oh so if I do this.." Stan teased and planted a hard kiss on Kyle's neck, making the redhead gasp, "..you'll just become putty?"
Kyle let out a shaky breath and smiled. "...Yeah.."
"Well then, I guess I'll be careful." Stan said and resumed to lovingly kiss on Kyle.
Kyle gripped Stan's arms as he felt butterflies invade his stomach with every touch of Stan's lips.
Stan reached the side of Kyle's neck and smirked. Kyle could feel the movement against his skin.
He felt blunt teeth sink gently into his neck, and he moaned quietly.
Stan pulled away and laughed. "That certainly wasn't what I thought you would do." Kyle blushed.
"You didn't warn me." He said. "How would you like it if I bit your neck?"
Stan smirked again. "I think I might like it."
Kyle laughed and leaned in. "No, you'd be in agonizing pain due to my concentrated venom. Then you'd get really sick, and possibly even die."
Stan's smirk faded.
"Oh, I'm just messing with you. My fangs are perfectly harmless unless I use my venom." Kyle said and smiled, showing his replacement human teeth.
"Can I see your fangs again?" Stan asked, realizing he hadn't seen the boy's sharp teeth ever since they met in the alley.
"Sure." Kyle said.
Stan watched in amazement as the regular canine teeth suddenly morphed, becoming sharper and longer.
"Whoa... can I touch them?"
"Sure, just don't prick your finger." Kyle said before opening his mouth wide.
Stan gently felt the enamel, and barely pressed his fingertip against the sharpened end of the fang. It was incredibly sharp, and he was careful not to break the skin.
"They're incredible." Stan said and pulled his hand away. He watched as Kyle morphed his teeth back into dull human teeth. "You're incredible."
The two leaned back into each other for another round of kisses. Stan felt Kyle's sharp nails gently run through his hair, putting him at ease.
Kyle pulled away, sighing.
"Stan, I do think I need to talk you this." He said. "I'm not ready to have sex. I do want to do things with you, but I just need a little more time to get comfortable with you."
"That's perfectly fine, Kyle. You take your time." Stan said.
Kyle snickered. "It's a good thing you're comfy." He said and snuggled his head into Stan's chest. "I'll be warmed up to you in no time, I promise."
Stan relaxed as Kyle cuddled up against him.
This was the love he craved.
Stan thought for a moment. If he knew that this was what he was receiving after he broke up with Wendy, he would've done it sooner.
He figured all the break ups, fights, and sleepless nights were worth it.
The front door slowly creaked open as they two walked inside.
They had spent the next three hours just cuddling, kissing, and enjoying each other's company.
The drive home was even better. Kyle sat in the middle seat, snuggled up next to Stan.
They quietly entered the home since Shelley was already home.
The didn't even bother with showers that night. They changed into their sleep clothes and climbed into bed.
Stan first laid down on his back. Kyle climbed in afterwards and laid on his side, snuggling up against Stan with his head on his chest and an arm wrapped around the thicker boy's chest.
Stan was so glad he was still fit from football conditioning. Kyle lovingly traced circles on his chest while Stan did the same with his back.
"I know this is a stupid question... but..." Stan paused. "Are we a thing now?"
Kyle scoffed. "No, Stan. We aren't together, even though we just spent hours making out in your truck and telling each other how much we loved another." He said sarcastically.
Stan was silent.
"Of course, we're a thing now, Stan. That is if you want to." Kyle asked.
"Of course I do!" Stan said.
"Well jeez, you never asked me." Kyle laughed softly.
Stan grabbed his hand and kissed it. "Will you be my boyfriend, Kyle Broflovski, the love of my life?"
Kyle blushed. "Of course, Stan Marsh, the sweetest human I've ever met."
They giggled like children and kissed again.
"So what are you going to tell that girl you've been talking to, hmm?" Kyle asked.
"Umm... funny story." Stan began. "I made her up. I've been crushing on you ever since I brought you home. I made up the story because I was scared to ask you out.."
"Stan, don't worry. I knew it was fake." Kyle said.
"Oh, great."
"I had a feeling you liked me, but I wasn't going to say anything. I started crushing on you that night you let me sleep against you to hide from those vampires." Kyle said.
"Stan, I know this sounds weird, but you have no idea how warm you are. Whenever you touch me, kiss me, hug me, I feel the same warmth I felt after I burned my hand in the sun. Touching you is like touching the sun to me, without being burnt alive." Kyle explained.
"Aww, I'm flattered to be your sun." Stan said and hugged him tight.
They didn't say a word for the rest of the night. They fell asleep embracing each other. For the first time in a long time, they felt truly loved.
Stan awoke hours later when he felt Kyle wiggling out of his embrace.
"Mmm.. where you going?" He mumbled groggily.
"To make breakfast for you and your sister. Like every morning." Kyle said. "Speaking of, we might want to tell her."
"Bout' what?" Stan asked, sitting up.
"About us dating?" Kyle said.
Stan awoke and smiled. "Oh, yeah."
"Did you forget or something?"
"No.. it still doesn't feel real. Like a dream come true."
Kyle scoffed playfully. "Quit it with that mushy stuff. It's real, we're dating, and we have to tell your sister." He explained with a smile.
Stan got up out of bed and followed his boyfriend downstairs.
Kyle flipped on the kitchen light. "What should I make this morning?"
"I want pancakes again." Stan said.
"Alright. I can make them homemade or frozen, take your pick."
"Mmm, homemade. I love my boyfriend's cooking." Stan said, still a bit sleepy.
Stan admired Kyle as he got to work making the pancake mixture, pouring it on a pan, and flipping them until they were done.
Shelley walked in, dressed in her scrubs for work and her hair in a high ponytail. "Good morning, Kyle. Stan? You're up?" She said, noticing her brother half asleep at the table.
"Barely." Stan said and smiled.
"Good morning, Shelley." Kyle said and handed her a plate.
"Thanks, Kyle. I don't know what I'm going to do if you leave." Shelley said and sat down. The three of them all sat down and ate in silence. Stan and Kyle exchanged glances.
Stan cleared with throat. "Um..Shelley?"
She looked at him.
"Me and Kyle have something to tell you." He said.
She looked at both of them a bit nervously. "What did you two do?"
"We um... we didn't do anything, it's just.. me and Kyle... we're... dating... now." Stan stuttered.
Shelley dropped her fork.
"I knew it!" She exclaimed to the boys' surprise.
"I knew you two had a thing for each other! Oh my gosh, finally!" She said.
"You knew? How?" Stan asked while Kyle just smiled.
"Stan, I knew from the start you were kinda into dudes. Sorry Kyle, but it's pretty obvious with you too." She explained. "When did this happen?"
"Last night, in the abandoned parking lot." Stan explained.
"Well, you two are not the first to confess there and you're certainly not the last. I'm happy for you two. I'm glad you finally found someone who can keep you straight, Stan." She said and winked at Kyle.
The three chatted a bit before Shelley left for work.
"So. What do you want to do?" Kyle asked, drinking his daily blood.
"Hmm.. you want to go cuddle?" Stan asked flirtatiously. Kyle laughed. He opened his mouth to say something, but the faint sound of a phone ringing stopped him.
Kyle cursed and bolted out of the kitchen and upstairs to where his phone was. Stan ran behind him.
"Hello? H-Hi, Mom! Yes, yes I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine here at home. Yes, everything's clean." Stan heard Kyle say.
"It's just been me. Tweek and Marj came by a couple of times. Yes, I've been drinking blood every day. How is the camp? How's Ike doing?" Kyle said and looked at Stan in the doorway. He mouthed "It's my mom." and Stan nodded, being as quiet as he could.
"You guys will be home next week? That's fine with me. I can't wait to see you guys. I'll be waiting at home. Bye, love you too." Kyle said and waited for his mother to hang up before sighing.
"That was close.." he flopped down on the bed.
Stan laid down beside him. "What are you going to tell them?"
"Gosh, I don't know. They'll at least be happy you're human. What about your parents? Are you going to keep my vampirism a secret, or tell them?" Kyle said.
"I think we have to keep it a secret from them for a little bit. We'll have to tell them, obviously, I just don't want them to freak out." Stan explained.
"Don't worry. I understand." Kyle said. He smirked and grabbed Stan's collar. "I need kisses."
Stan gave him a flirty look and got on top of him, pinning him to the bed.
"Fine, but once we start you can never escape." Stan said and pressed Kyle's hands into the bed.
"You think I'm too weak to handle you?" Kyle asked.
In one swift motion, Kyle flipped Stan onto his back with him on top. Stan was stunned by the sudden movement. "Whoa..." he squeaked.
"You're all talk and no show, Stan." Kyle said and leaned down to kiss him.
Stan began to struggle to push Kyle back over. "You were so light.. why are you so heavy now?" He grunted.
"I'm relaxed." Kyle said and plopped down on top of his boyfriend, pressing all his weight down. Stan grunted from the impact.
"Can I be on top, please?" Stan whined.
"Nnnnnnope. I'm cozy." Kyle said and rubbed his head against Stan's chest.
Stan gave up and hugged Kyle, letting the redhead use him as a bed.
"I know this is gonna sound weird, but can you take your shirt off?" Kyle asked suddenly.
"Huh? I mean.. yeah, I'll do it, but why?" Stan asked as Kyle got off of him.
"I just want to feel your warmth, mi sol~." Kyle said.
"Sorry, I don't speak Italian." Stan joked as he pulled his shirt over his head.
"It's simple Spanish, you dork." Kyle said.
"I know. I was just playing with you." Stan said and laid back down.
Kyle gladly resumed his spot cuddled up against Stan. "So warm..." he whispered.
"You're warm too." Stan said.
"I know, dude. It's just that half vampires are cold blooded. My body temperature automatically fluctuates to the air around me. I may be warm, but all I feel is cold. I am constantly longing for warmth like this.." Kyle explained.
Stan wrapped his arms around him, holding him closer.
"Don't worry, soon enough I'll make you warm. In fact, you'll be steamy." Stan teased.
Kyle hummed in amusement.
The two boys fell alseep soon after. It was only the sound of Stan's door being flung open that scared both of them awake.
"Yo, Stan! Kyle! Get yo asses up- WOOOOAAH!" Kenny shouted.
"Kenny! What the hell are you doing here?!" Stan exclaimed as Kyle scrambled off of him. Both of their faces went red.
"Oh, I didn't know you were homosexual, Stan!" The annoying voice of Eric Cartman entered the room. His face dropped him shock. "And with your own tutor, nonetheless! Oh, this is priceless!"
"Get the hell out! Get out!" Stan exclaimed and pushed them both out of his room and shut his door.
"Stan! Please tell me it happened!" Kenny exclaimed, sounding overjoyed.
Stan scrambled to get a shirt on. Kyle just stood in the corner of the room, his face as red as his hair.
Stan opened the door and the two boys stood outside expectantly. Kenny was bouncing on his feet while Cartman stared at him with a devious look.
"Alright, fine. Me and Kyle are dating." Stan admitted.
"Let's goooo!" Kenny exclaimed.
"Did we catch you guys about to fuck or something?" Cartman said.
"Hell no! Me and Kyle aren't like that. We were cuddling!"
"Yeah, with your shirt off." Cartman replied.
"Shut up..." Stan mumbled and walked back into his room.
"Way to go, Kyle!" Kenny said and wrapped an arm around the redhead. "You got yourself a fine dude, if I do say so myself."
"Thanks, Kenny." Kyle said and pulled his arm off. "Me and Stan are taking it slow for now."
"Aww, so you two aren't going to be fucking each other at Tolkien's party tonight?" Cartman said.
"Party?" Stan asked.
"Yeah, the whole grade is invited. Get this: I'm bringing Marj! And Craig is bringing Tweek! So now we have you two to complete the set!" Kenny explained.
"Oh, how bout' it, Kyle?" Stan asked his boyfriend.
"I'm down for it." Kyle said.
"Sweet!" Kenny exclaimed.
"And both of you better look at me now!" Stan stated. Kenny and Cartman stared at him. "Do not, absolutely do not tell a soul about this. I want to tell everyone about me and Kyle on my terms, got it? Especially you, Cartman." Stan threatened.
"What? Me, telling your secrets? Stan, I would never!" Cartman said.
"Alright. We'll see y'all at the party tonight." Stan said.
"You're kicking us out so Kyle can suck your dick?" Cartman asked as he began to walk away.
"I do not suck dick you fatass!" Kyle stated.
"Hey! Don't call me fat! I'm big boned!" Cartman yelled.
"Yeah right." Kyle said.
The two left and Stan sighed, going back to bed. Kyle laid beside him.
"He better not tell anyone or I'll tell the police what he's been doing." Stan said.
"It'll be okay. I don't think he will." Kyle said and placed a hand on his chest.
"Hey Kyle?"
"Hmm?"
"Can you wash my hair again?"
Kyle laughed. "Anything for you, mi sol."
