i am so sorry for the late update. i was having serious writers block and then i went on vacation. i will try to post at least once a week but no promises. for me, school is starting in a week so you can expect less updates for a while. sorry for the short chapter.
Morgana sat and watched the event's unfold in front of her with a malicious smile on her face. She watched the shield fall. She watched her minions kidnap milori, daina and vidia. She watched the ministers try to rescue them but fail miserably.
"they will stop you, you know" clarion said softly. She had sat in her cage watching the whole ordeal quietly, unable to figure out what to say. That is, until now. Morgana laughed at clarion. "are you blind? I captured them! It's over!" morgana cackled. "it's never over" said clarion boldly.
"we'll see" and with that morgana disappeared into a cloud of dust.
To say vidia was annoyed was putting it mildly. She was being carried by one of morgana's creatures and she was seething with anger. She suddenly had an idea to get out of their grasp. She grimaced at the thought of the first part of her plan.
Vidia bit the furried paw that was carrying her. The creature let out a growl of pain. It released vidia by accident and she wasted no time in flying away a couple of meters. With a small gesture of her hands there was a rather large tornado with the creature who had kidnapped her in the middle. She let him spin arpund for a few minutes before she made the tornado collapse, which made a patch of wind which blew through anything that was within a ten-mile radius.
It also made the creature fall on the other two that were carrying daina and milori. They quickly flew (in milori's case, walked) to the leaf vidia was standing on before they were crushed.
"I didn't know you could do that, v" daina said. Vidia knew exactly what she was referring to. The fact that she had created and destroyed a tornado with just a small gesture of her hands. "well, I can. And a simple thank you would suffice." Vidia said. "thank you for saving us. Now can we get a move on?" milori said, annoyed.
"We could. But we are already here" daina said. "what?!" both milori and vidia said. "did none of you notice the cave right in front of us?" daina said, gesturing at the cave. "but we were still a day's hike away!" milori said, confused. Vidia rolled her eyes. "did you miss the whole part where we were kidnapped and taken away by some creatures?" vidia asked sarcastically. "shut up, both of you." Diana said.
"we need a plan" milori said. "I'll distract, you two save clarion." And with that vidia flew into the cave
