The Rangers were locked in battle with Mantack's warrior Porcuprick. But their attacks against him proved futile. "Spinning Skystorm Strike!"

"Tidal Impact!"

"Lion-tning Slash!"

"Rock Quaker!"

"Freezing Slicer!"

"Super Primal Charge!"

However, Porcuprick's sword attack managed to knock all 6 out of their attacks, and their Ranger suits. "You fools.", he stated. "In my Dark Order, we learn that the best way to defeat your foe is to study how they fight to work out a counter. And the Arrowhead has an extensive archive of all your battles."

"So he knows all the attacks we could launch at him.", Trunks surmised. "Great."

As if on cue, a man in a red shirt with a leather jacket and a ponytail appeared on the scene. "I guess that's my cue."

The other Rangers were concerned for him. "Get out of here, sire!", Lenny insisted.

"No, stay.", Porcuprick laughed. "You can join in on my slaughtering time."

"Oh it's not slaughtering time.", the man said as he took out a small item resembling a tiki head, and a blank card. "It's Morphin Time!" The card then transformed into a card with the likeness of a red helmet with silver moulded lips, a black visor shaped like a dragon and a golden logo on the forehead. The card was labelled 'Gosei Red'. "Go Go Megaforce!" He then inserted the card into the head-like device's mouth and then closed it, generations a red and white suit with an elaborate chest insignia resembling wings, with a helmet identical to the one on the cards. "Fury of the Dragon, Megaforce Red!"

The 6 Rangers were shocked by this newcomer. "No way!", Johnny whispered, a tone of sheer unbridled joy in his voice. "Is it really him?"

Marina on the other hand was just confirmed. "Who is this guy?"

"He doesn't seem to have a power enhancer like us.", Tora pointed out.

"He's a legendary Power Ranger.", Luke explained. "From Earth."

"Another Ranger?", Porcuprick gasped. "I don't have anything to deal with this guy."

"And that's your mistake.", Megaforce Red stated, as he took out his sidearm and fired it at Porcuprick, buffeting him. "Mega Blaster!" He then inserted a card into his tiki device again. "Dragon Sword!" Summon Battle Gear! As this ethereal voice rang out, a large red sword with an even larger handle appeared in Megaforce Red's hand. He then leapt in and slashed at Porcuprick, who tired using his sword to block the blow, but was unsuccessful. The Ranger then leapt up to unleash a more powerful attack. "Sky Strike!"

As Porcuprick was visibly weakened by this, the other Rangers were amazed. "I can't believe it.", Trunks commented. "We could barely hit this freak as a team, but then Mr. Impressive over there cuts through him like his armour was made of tissue paper."

"That's because I never saw this guy before.", Porcuprick growled. "I haven't learned any of his moves. But that won't stop me from coming out on top."

"That's what you think.", Megaforce Red stated, as he inserted another card. Summon Ultra Zord! A small gold dragon head appeared in his hand, as did a sword with a large transparent globe on it, which he inserted the head into, before pulling on the trigger, generating golden armour around his chest and shoulders, with a dragon's head on the chest. "Ultra Mode, Ready!"

"Whoah.", Tora commented. "We could do with armour like that."

"Ultra Sky Dynamic!" Ultra Megaforce Red attacked with his sword, striking Porcuprick and knocking him back. He then plugged his Morpher into a slot on the Ultra Sword, before inserting another card. Ultra Sword, Ready! The weapon was charged with energy, before its user leapt once more at Porcuprick. "Ultra Strike!"

Porcuprick took the ensuing blast attack, but emerged relatively intact. "You haven't heard the last of me.", he snarled, as he teleported away. "I'll be back."

With the immediate danger over, the Wild Fury Rangers demorphed and went over to the newcomer. "Thanks got your help.", Johnny said, as he reached out to shake hands. "I'm Johnny. It was nice to work with you, Mr…"

Megaforce Red then demorphed himself, before reciprocating the handshake. "I'm Troy. And believe me, what I, doing here involves more than simply fighting that guy."

The other Rangers were shocked at this. "You mean there's something bigger going down?", Marina asked. "I mean, Johnny may have mentioned that there were other Rangers on Earth, but he indicated they only helped other teams in cases of extreme crisis."

"That's sounds about right.", Troy answered. "Do you guys have a base we can discuss things at? A spaceship, or a hidden cave, or a garage?"

"We do.", Lenny assured him. "Though it doesn't sound as glamorous as some of those."

Onboard his ship, recently moved to Earth orbit, Mantack and Keldor watched as Porcuprick wheezed his way back in. "What happened?", the latter asked. "I thought you had a handle on the Power Rangers."

"I had one on the Wild Fury Rangers.", Porcuprick growled back. "But then some new guy showed up with his own powers and caught me off guard. A Red Ranger from some group called Mego - Maggie -."

"Megaforce!", Mantack growled. "The group who defeated the Armada. They were my best employers before that. And now I have a chance to get even."

"I want a chance to get even.", Porcuprick hissed. "But I'm too damaged to do much of anything."

Mantack thought on this for a moment. "If that's the case, then I'll let you use Trakeena's cocoon. It'll give you a boost in power that'll leave any Rangers reeling."

As Porcuprick clambered into the cocoon, Dapperfly stepped forward. "While he waits to be brought up to greater strength, I can also deal with all of the Rangers. Or rather, my hypno pollen will make the Rangers deal with themselves."

"How deliciously ironic.", Keldor stated, as he tuned his listening device. "But first, we should try and figure out what brings another Ranger to our neck of the woods."

And on the receiving end of the feed, at the zoo house, Trunks asked a similar question. "What brings a veteran Power Ranger like yourself to our neck of the woods?"

"More to the point, can we learn about some of your adventures?", Tora asked. "I mean, we aren't really familiar with Earth's Power Rangers, other than Johnny and Luke."

"Which makes us perfect to explain the story.", Luke spoke up.

10 years ago, a collective of Insectoid races came to Earth on their ship, the Warstar in order to help create the same conditions on Earth. But soon afterwards, the Power Rangers Megaforce appeared in order to fight them off. Sooner or later, the aliens teamed up with a tribe of Toxic Mutants that evolved from humanity's pollution. And the Rangers were given new toys to play with not only in the form of their new ally Robo Knight, but the acquisition of their Ultra Mode and its accompanying Megazord. After the Mutants were vanquished, the Insectoid's Prince, Vrak, established an underwater base and started building an array of robots to continue the fight. When their leader Admiral Malkor was destroyed along with the Warstar, Vrak's robots had established a beachhead for the real threat, a vast spacefaring Armada, which overwhelmed the Rangers.

"But after that, I don't really know what happened.", Luke concluded. "It was around that time that… well, you know…"

"You made a good start on the explanations.", Troy assured him. "I can take over."

Me and the other Mega Rangers, Gia, Emma, Noah and Jake, were granted the power of the Legendary Rangers who had come before us, in every dimension and planet, to fight against the Armada's legions of robots. We also gain a new Legendary Megazord that could combine with Zords used by those Rangers. We were soon joined by Orion, the survivor of a planet destroyed by the Armada who could become the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger, who used the power of the 6th Rangers. With his help, we were able to defeat the fleet's leader, Prince Vekar. Then his brother Vrak, after he came back to try and destroy the Earth after failing to conquer it. And then finally, when the Armada's ruler Emperor Mavro showed up, we were able to end the war by destroying him, and then we took out the remnants of the Armada with the aid of the actual Legendary Rangers.

"And now for you.", Troy said as he turned to Johnny. "We've known that there were Rangers in Savannah City, but we know little about you other than your powers."

"Why not?", Johnny shrugged. "It can't hurt to share our story."

Ten years ago, Luke and I had gone out into he woods to view a rare meteor shower. But then we found a mysterious cube without realising it. And what we also didn't realise was that 4 Animen from Cubalia were using it to transport 12 Cubezords to Earth. Luke ended up merging with three of them and two of the Zords, while the fourth's Primal Energy was transplanted into my body. Not knowing what happened to my brother, I spent 10 years searching for clues. And one day, I found the cube again and got transported to Cubalia, where I met 4 Planetary Guardians: Marina, Lenny, Trunks and Tora. Soon after, they were threatened by a Space Hunter named Archris sending his minions to capture the Cubezords, which I saved them from by using the Primal Energy I was imbued with to power a Primal Morpher and become the first of the Wild Fury Rangers. After it transpired that the Cubezords were on Earth, the other 4 were assigned to work with me as the other Rangers in penance for endangering the planet. Eventually, Archris's assistant Ignoblia captured Luke and used the DNA within him to transform him into the Chimera Ranger to destroy us. But once the truth came out, we were able to bring him home at long last.

"And recently, Archris hired this creep named Mantack and his crew to take our Cubezords.", Johnny concluded. "We've taken out one of them, and you beat up another one earlier. But his Anima Arm could pose a challenge."

"About that portal cube you mentioned…", Troy interrupted.

"We are not calling it that.", Trunks insisted.

"Gosei had me come here in response to something in the woods, giving off massive amounts of Morphin Grid energy.", Troy continued. "Do you think it could be the cube?"

"It's possible.", Jeremy commented, causing everyone to turn around towards him. "Oh don't mind me, I've been listening in and thought I'd comment."

"How long were you stood there?", Lenny asked.

"Ever since 'we aren't familiar with Earth's Power Rangers'.", was Jeremy's answer. "That doesn't apply to me though, I've spent my time on Earth studying them in my spare time. It's nice to meet you, Megaforce Red."

On the other end of Keldor's receiver, he and Mantack listened as Marina said "Jeremy makes a good point. We don't know much about the cube in the woods, beyond it having brought our ancestors to Cubalia and the fact it's fixing itself from the damage it took when Trunkrush appeared. We should check it out."

"Yes, we should.", Mantack laughed. "Dapperfly, get into position in the woods on my command. Meanwhile, I'll go searching for this portal cube so I can take the Cubezords."

Sometime later, the 7 Rangers and Jeremy were making their way through the woods, with the help of Stevie and Sir Caesar. "Is there a reason these two came along?", Jeremy asked. "Surely a smaller party would draw less attention."

"Maybe, but if we're to find out more on the nature of the cube, then I want to be there to find out.", Sir Caesar answered him.

"And I wanted the chance to hang out with a Power Ranger.", Stevie added, as Johnny and Luke looked dejected. "I mean, one of the ones who saved the Earth while we were growing up. Speaking of which, where's the rest of the Mega Rangers?"

"All of them have commitments that stop them from coming right away.", Troy answered. "Noah's interning at Harwood County's branch of Cranston Tech, Gia's travelling the multiverse to help Tommy Oliver deal with Ranger incursions in other universes, Jake's a coach at a McKnight Soccer Academy, Emma's director of photography at an environmental magazine and Orion's too far away to return to Earth right now."

"I mean, we don't need the whole team right?", Tora pointed out. "Troy alone was enough to defeat one of Mantack's crew. So if he or Archris try anything, we'll be ready."

As she said this, she was unaware that Mantack had read her mind with his Anima Arm, picking out one face among her memories of the Hunters. "Yes, this one will work quite well. Arise, Spydus!"

At his command, Spydus manifested in front of him. "Hey, thanks for bringing me back and all. Anything you need, just ask me."

"I need you to be quiet and use your abilities to tail the Rangers.", Mantack informed him as he sprayed him with the sense dampener, while Spydus complied with the request to turn invisible.

Within the woods, the Rangers' party found their way to a familiar clearing. "The cube's made some good progress since last time.", Trunks noted. "It's almost completely healed."

"But I've never noticed this before.", Sir Caesar stated, as he noted a part of the cube that had started glowing. "And I've seen this cube several times over the years."

Troy help up a device from his pocket to the glowing fragment, which began beeping erratically. "Can you switch that thing off?", Marina yelled. "It's really hurting my sonar."

"This is it.", Troy stated. "The energy source I was tracking. It's in this portion of the cube." He the tapped on the glowing segment.

The segment then detached itself, becoming a cube large enough that it would require two hands to hold by itself. "I am the Primal Force.", an ethereal voice emerged from the cube. "The mother light that monitors life on Earth, and beyond. I shall now share with you the hidden history of the real battle between light and darkness."

Everyone was shocked by this, though on board Mantack's ship, Keldor seemed intrigued. "This could be interesting."

The cube commenced its story. "Millions of years ago, when the universe was formed, the Morphin Grid came into existence to moderate the flow of good across the universe. But as if in opposition, a dark counterpart, the Anti-Grid, was also formed. Unlike the Morphin' Grid, which was initially teeming with lifeforms humans would consider magic, such as gryphons and fairies, the Anti-Grid was barren of natural life, with those that ended up within it becoming twisted creatures of darkness. And when the Morphin' Masters forced their way into making the Morphin' Grid their home, one of their number fell into the Anti-Grid, becoming its guardian. He became the Dark Master. When the Morphin Masters created items to empower individuals with grid energy, he sought out these times so that the Anti-Grid could corrupt them into artefacts to channel its own power and subsume the universe with evil. While its own energy could not empower beings like its brother, the Anti-Grid did reach out its energy into the universe of antimatter beyond a black hole, giving birth to Dark Specter. This gave the Dark Master the idea to reach out into the multiversal spectrum, and find those who could retrieve sources of Grid Energy, corrupting them so they would retrieve those same sources. Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, Scorpius, Lothor, Mesagog, Venjix and its offshoot Evox, Lord Arcanon and Sledge, Galvanax and Madame Odious, Malgramon's sealed fragment, Orbis of the Gingaku Clan, and Empress Floriana: If the Dark Master did not create them to recover the power of the Morphin' Grid, then it pushed them on the path to do so. Once they recovered their targets, they would be drawn to absorb them and become an avatar of the Anti-Grid, all-powerful and unable to be defeated by anything less than the full power of a Power Ranger team to defeat."

The Rangers and their allies were shocked to hear this. "So that explains why so many villains were drawn to the Rangers' powers.", Troy spoke up.

"Sledge?", Mantack commented. "That's the creep who sold me my flying junk pile. I should've known he was a servant of what is essentially the devil in hell."

Onboard the Arrowhead, Archris and Ignoblia had also observed the scene through hidden cameras. "So, there's a source equal and opposite to that of the Rangers.", Archris commented. "That seems intriguing."

"Not just that.", Ignoblia noted, as she clutched her head. "It seems… familiar."

"Wait a minute.", Jeremy asked, which the pair observed over the monitor. "What about Empress Floriana made her an Anti-Grid avatar?"

"What indeed?", Archris asked as he continued to watch.

"Wait a minute, you know who this Floriana is?", Troy asked. "I mean, Gia's told me about Malgramon and Orbis during her travels through the multiverse. But we've never heard of her."

The Primal Force answered him. "Empress Floriana was an alien conqueror from a plant-based species. She sought the destruction of all animalkind in the universe. To do this, she recruited disaffected inhabitants of populous planets and gave them the power and assets to destroy their species. To counter her onslaught, my creator tasked me with with preparing humanity for when she inevitably came to destroy them. So I created a portal to a planet with the necessary geological profile, and then had some of the animals of Earth taken to this planet, where exposure to my power, and the harsh climate of the planet, pushed these beast to evolve into beings on par with humans."

"You mean… Animen?", Tora realised.

"Indeed.", the Force responded. "And your evolution was proceeding nicely. Until the evil empress took note of your planet first. And she was able to find a willing thrall in the form of an insect Animan, known as Centitrax."

The Primal Force then projected an image of Centitrax rampaging. Volcanoes were erupting as several Animen fled. "Yes, flee fools.", Centitrax announced. "For soon, this pathetic world will be nothing more than a memory." He then slammed his hands into the ground, causing explosions that killed the fleeing civilians.

While the Planetary Guardians of today did not exist during that time, one brave warrior stood up to the destroyer. "Centitrax!", a whale Animan by the name of Jonas stated. "If you wish to destroy our home, then you will have to destroy me first."

"A bold challenge. I accept.", Centitrax said in response. They fought for days, with Centitrax easily getting the upper hand. But Jonas would not yield so readily. In response to his passionate desire to attain victory, I tapped into the Morphin Grid and created a vessel for him to gain power: The Whale Hyper Morpher. And to give it power, a Whale Cubezord, the first of its species was created at the moment of his first Morph.

"Primal Evolution!" At this cry, Jonas became the first to use the raw power of Wild Fury, the Whale Ranger. He soon charged his power in order to send Centitrax flying into space, his body torn apart by a blast of Primal Power. "Super Primal Blow!" But although that threat had been thwarted, Jonas was not the only one who recognised that more threats of similar or greater scale may come for them. The leaders of the planet's tribes came together into an organised council to oversee the governing of the planet, while the Planetary Guardians were founded as a line of defence. After the Whale Hyper Morpher and Whale Zord had been studied to help create new Cubezords and power enhancers, Jonas sent his ardent ally to Earth through the cube, and when he passed away, the Whale Morpher disappeared, only to reappear when the one who is worthy appears to claim it."

As the Primal Force concluded its message, and the curb dropped to the ground, a red coloured gun-like handle emerging from one of its sides and a handle from another edge, everyone was shocked by this. "So the Whale Zord is on Earth.", Jeremy realised. "That's why a whale appeared on my enhancer." He presented his power enhancer, which displayed an image of a whale with those of the other 9 animals the Rangers had Zords for.

"So that means that someone among us is the inheritor of Jonas's powers.", Trunks added. "But who is it?"

"Isn't it obvious?", Marina asked. "I'm the only aquatic animal among the Rangers. It's obviously going to be me."

"Hey, you seem to forget that alligators are also aquatic.", Luke snapped. "It could be me."

"Please, you're just a pretender using powers that aren't yours.", Marina countered. "Go back to your cave."

"That's odd.", Tora noted. "Those two aren't normally this argumentative." She then noticed Johnny sneezing. "Are you okay?"

"I-I think so.", he nodded. "Just a touch of hay fever, I think."

"There's definitely something strong in the air.", Trunks nodded. "Something… unnatural."

"We'll check it out.", Stevie stated, as Sir Caesar and Jeremy nodded. The three then headed off.

"Oh good, we've got rid of the riffraff.", Mantack stated as he stepped forward, with Spydus making himself visible. "Now that I know there's a fourteenth Cubezord on Earth that you haven't claimed, I think that Archris will pay me handsomely if I acquire it for him."

"Back off!", Troy growled as he pulled out a cutlass-like sword, which he swung at everyone as he moved towards the large cube. "I'm going to be taking this back with me to my Command Centre."

"The heck you are.", Lenny responded as everyone in the Rangers moved to surround him, as did Mantack and Spydus.

"Don't try to get away, human.", Spydus declared.

"Because unlike the other guy, we've seen what your Megaforce powers can do.", Trunks added.

"Then perhaps I should power up.", Troy commented as he took out a flip-phone like device and a figurine of a Ranger, different to the suit he had worn earlier. After flipping open the phone, he did a motion to turn the figurine into a key. "Super Mega Mode!" He inserted the key into the phone, and turned it to transform the screen into a cross made of swords. He then gained a Ranger suit which was primarily black, with white gloves, a red jacket with an 18th century noble's design, and a helmet with the same crossed swords logo and the only other feature being a visor with what looks like a trickling set of tears. "Super Megaforce Red!" He then picked up the cube and began pointing a gun at everyone

Everyone was shocked by this. "He had two different Ranger costumes."

"No, this is the same power set. Just upgraded to use the Legendary Rangers' powers in short bursts.", Johnny clarified. "Whatever's got into him, we need to save him." Everyone took their Morphers out. "It's Morphin Time!"

"Predator/Primal Spirits, Awaken!" In a few seconds, everyone was now morphed.

"Let's go!", Marina called out as all the Rangers other than Johnny and Tora moved in to fight.

"Something's definitely wrong.", Tora whispered to him. "The others wouldn't be this quick to pick a fight with a legendary warrior and something tells me he's far more heroic normally."

"Right.", Johnny nodded. "But until the others find out what, we'll have to go along with it. And try to get that cube back without any trouble."

And so, a fight between the Rangers began, with Spydus and Mantack entering the fray. The former Hunter was knocked down as Lenny tried to keep the golden cube away from Mantack, who swung his sword at him, Marina, and the approaching brothers Johnny and Luke. "Mine I believe.", Troy called out as he grabbed the cube from Lenny.

"Hey, that comes from our planet.", Lenny insisted as he got backhanded.

"Troy, wake up.", Marina insisted. "This isn't you. You're under some kind of spell."

"Don't be ridiculous.", Troy said in response as he wagged his finger. "There's no way anyone could've placed a spell on any of us. We'd have noticed."

"Troy.", Johnny spoke softly.

"Enough mushiness.", Mantack growled as he knocked Johnny aside with his sword. "I have a pay date that requires that cube."

"Not a chance.", Trunks called out as he ran in and locked his Primal Saber with Mantack's hook.

"Enough already!", Troy yelled as he fired on everyone with his Super Mega Blaster. He then ran in with his Super Mega Saber to fight with both Lenny and Mantack. "I'm taking the Golden Cube. And you can't do anything to stop me."

"You say that like you aren't limited in your arsenal.", Mantack commented as he proceeded to swordfight Troy, before throwing him aside. He then went over to Luke and stopped him from attacking Spydus by kicking the Chimera Ranger to one side.

"Thanks boss.", Spydus commented as Troy ran in to resume the swordfight. But then Trunks and Tora took over for him, with both of them trying to hold Mantack against a tree, in spite of his dirty manoeuvres. Eventually, Marina and Lenny moved onto Spydus. "Oh crud. Guess it's time for my super secret sting blasts"

Spydus then unleashed blasts from his fingers that caused explosions powerful enough to knock everyone aside. Except for Troy who took out another key. "Looks like I need to go Legendary to beat you." He then inserted the key into his Legendary Morpher. "Legendary Ranger Mode: Wild Force! Wild Access!" In a flash, he transformed into the Wild Force Red Lion Ranger, doing his Blazing Lion pose.

As he ran forward, Marina was fascinated. "That must be another one of those Legendary Rangers Johnny told us about."

"Troy did say he could use their powers, but I didn't think it was this literally.", Lenny commented as Troy ran past him.

Troy then engaged Spydus in battle, managing to slash the Hunter with his claws. "Great.", Trunks commented. "Mr. Impressive just became even more impressive."

"Hey man.", Lenny growled as he ran in to begin fighting with Troy. "Lions are my thing. Don't infringe me." He tried grabbing the Golden Cube, but Troy was quick to pull it back and double down on his assault, eventually throwing his opponent onto his chest.

"Let's see who the better lion is.", Troy declared as he grabbed onto Lenny's neck as the latter turned around. He then threw him across the ground with enough force to send the Lion Ranger crashing into a tree.

"What the-?", Tora commented as Troy took out and prepared another Ranger Key. "Not again."

"Legendary Ranger Mode: Jungle Fury! Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleashed!" He then transformed into the Jungle Fury Red Ranger

Tora was shocked by this choice. "Another tiger?"

"Jungle Chucks!" Troy then wielded the original JF Red Casey's signature weapon, before running in to attack. "Guess I'm rising up to the challenge of a rival." He then threw the Golden Cube to Tora, distracting her enough for him to land a hit with the weapon several time, and then taking his prize back. "Too easy."

"Ok, Bro. Let's show this freak that we can power up too.", Luke insisted as he ran over to Johnny.

"Alright. We can both counter anything he can throw at us.", Johnny nodded as the two changed forms. "Primal Change: Gorilla!"

"Primal Change: Alligator!"

As Troy stood facing the two powered up Wild Fury Rangers, he was unconcerned. "Now I get to try out this key." He took out and used another Ranger Key. "Legendary Ranger Mode: Beast Morphers! Activate Beast Power!" He swiftly transformed into Grid Battleforce's Red Ranger. "Cheetah Beast Power!"

"He can do Rangers later than his own team now?", Johnny asked with disbelief at this development.

Luke on the other hand chose to slump over in depression. "I don't know anything about this guy. How did I expect to win?"

"Bro, you need to snap out of it.", Johnny insisted.

From the sidelines, Dapperfly had been watching the entire scenario. "That's odd. My pollen doesn't have that effect on normal beings."

"Don't you dare call my fiancé normal." He then turned around to see that Stevie, Sir Caesar and Jeremy were surrounding him. "Hiya."

"Release them or we'll see what your aggression-addled victims make of you.", Jeremy demanded.

"Okay, okay.", Dapperfly sweated. "I'll release the antidote pollen." He then released a red coloured burst of spores.

Back at the battlefield, as Troy was about to strike down the depressed Luke with the Beast-X Blade, the Red spores interacted with the ones they had breathed in, with both destroying each other, restoring everyone to normal. "What happened?", Luke asked as he stood up. "Why was I on the floor?"

"We'll tell you why.", Sir Caesar answered him as his party dragged Dapperfly into the clearing. "This guy was blasting spores into the air that increased your negative emotions, making you aggressively competitive."

"He should've reckoned with me having no sense of smell.", Tora pointed out. "Or the fact that both Johnny and Trunks have abilities that let them expel the spores."

"Curses.", Dapperfly growled, as he overpowered his captor, and pressed a button on his staff, causing a large spaceship to emerge from the ground, which he floated up towards. "Good thing I had an escape plan ready to go."

From Mantack's ship, Keldor looked at this with amusement. "My, things are certainly getting interesting right now."

"You haven't seen anything yet." Keldor turned around to see Porcuprick, now lacking his white coat annd trousers and adorned with multiple spikes on his shoulders, arms, chest and legs. He also had a blue crystal on the centre of his body, from which red veins were emerging. "I'm going to get my revenge on that red guy."

On the ground, the Rangers watched as the ship Dapperfly was making his escape on floated upwards. "He's getting away.", Tora called out.

"Maybe not.", Troy realised. "Johnny, can you use your Eagle powers to get me up there?"

"I've never had a passenger before, but I can try.", Johnny answered, before reverting to his base form. "Primal Reversion: Eagle! Primal Mode, Unleash!" Sprouting wings, he picked up Troy by his shoulder, taking off after the rapidly advancing ship.

"I've lost my prize for today.", Mantack stated. "But I'll still get even with you." He turned around and approached Tora, who futilely tried to fight him off. But he succeeded in touching her head with the Anima Arm once again. "This one should prove adequate. Arise, Shotiki!" This time, the copy he made was at giant size. "Bye." He then teleported out

"Guess this is something I'll have to do by myself without Johnny.", Luke realised as he took his Cubezords out. "Cyber Cubezords, roll out!" The three then emerged into their Megazord mode. "Hunter Megazord, ready!"

"Huh? What's that?", Shotiki asked as the Hunter Megazord stood in front of him.

"A Hunter for a hunter. Seems like a good match." Luke then had the Hunter Megazord fire a beam simultaneously with Shotiki's arrows.

"If Luke's gonna defeat that guy, then we can't let him show us up.", Lenny decided. "Let's go."

"Primal Mode, Unleash!" All 4 Rangers initiated their powered up forms.

"Uh oh.", Spydus cringed before he took attacks from all 4 of the Rangers at once, exploding into nothingness.

Up in the sky, Luke piloted the Hunter through all of Shotiki's blasts. "Gator Punch!" He had the Alligator Arm throw a punch at Shotiki's mask, knocking him down. "Time for a little help, Bat Zord." Luke then had the Bat Zord enlarge and become the Bat Blade. "Bat Splitter!" He threw the weapon at Shotiki, managing to fatally wound him enough to blow him up. "Top of the food chain!"

On the ground, the Rangers were left confused. "So, what do we do now?", Trunks asked.

"You'll perish fools." Porcuprick leapt down and fired several spikes from his shoulders that blew everyone back. "Where's the Megaforce guy? I've got a score to settle with him."

"Will I do?" Luke leapt in, having changed into his Wolf form and fired a flurry of shots from his Reel Blaster.

But Porcuprick easily deflected the blasts with his sword, before running in and grabbing onto his opponent, throwing him aside. "Fool. With my new strength, you are nothing but pebbles beneath my feet. And you will end your lives as such."

"Hey!" Porcuprick then turned around to behold 5 people approaching: a wound, dark-haired woman in a denim jacket and pink shorts, another young woman, this one blonde, wearing a yellow shirt with a leather jacket, an Asian man in a hoodie, shirt and trousers that were all black, a black man with glasses in a blue polo shirt and a blazer and a man with blonde hair and a silver jacket. "If you're looking for Troy, then you're going to want to fight us as well.", the first of this group stated.

"Ah, you must be his allies.", Porcuprick realised, before he turned to face them. "If I can't have him to battle, then I'll settle for you two."

"Five of us against one of you.", the one in black replied. "That doesn't seem like good odds."

"You're right. That doesn't seem like good odds.", Porcuprick laughed. "For you." He then fired a beam from the crystal on his chest at them.

"It's Morphin Time! Go Go Megaforce!" The first 4 called out as they morphed into their own Megaforce Ranger suits, coloured pink, yellow, black and blue, with differing logos and animal emblems.

"Super Mega Mode!", the one in the silver jacket called out as he took out his own Morpher, opening it to insert a silver Ranger Key, pressing a button on the keypad and pressing another button on the side. As all 5 leapt clear of the blast, with him being the first to provide an introduction. "Super Megaforce Silver!"

"Megaforce Pink!"

"Megaforce Yellow!"

"Megaforce Black!"

"Megaforce Blue!"

"Earth's defenders never surrender."

As the 5 engaged Porcuprick in a hand to hand fight, the Wild Fury Rangers recovered enough to behold the sight. "Are those…?", Marina wheezed.

"Sure look like it.", Trunks answered, guessing what her full question was. "They're certainly Troy's team."

Up in the sky, Troy and Johnny had managed to land on an airlock. "I have to get back to my friends.", Johnny stated. "You can handle this guy on your own, right?"

"Like you said, I took care of his friend, right.", Troy said in response. "But before we head off, I want you to take this." He threw the Golden Cube at Johnny. "There's no point in Mantack having a chance to get his hand on this."

As Johnny grabbed onto the handle, the Golden Cube flipped itself inside out, turning into a red cube, with a cannon on the other end and a whale caricature on the sides. "This is… Jonas's Whale Hyper Morpher."

The Primal Force then spoke up again. "Johnathan Perry of Earth, you have been chosen to inherit the will of Jonas in battle with the new avatar of the Anti-Grid. And this will be the key to your victory."

"Looks like I'm the inheritor.", Johnny stated, by now used to this sort of thing. "And I'll be sure to put this power to good use." He leapt off the airlock, floating down to Earth using his wings. As he neared the ground, he pumped a white handle on the bottom, similar to cocking a shotgun, and then fired. "Primal Evolution!"

On the ground, the Megaforce Rangers continued to fight off Porcuprick, with Pink inserting a card into her Gosei Morpher. "Sky Brothers, activate!" Summon Zord! A trio of smaller bird-like heads appeared and attached onto her's, Yellow's and Black's Mega Blasters. They then fired at their opponent. "Ptera Blast!"

"Crow Blast!"

"Hawk Blast!"

These attacks all hit Porcuprick, buffeting him. Silver then moved in for his own attack. "Super Silver Blaster!" He converted his weapon into a firearm and inserted his Ranger Key into it. "Super Mega Final Strike, Charge!" He fired a shot, that Porcuprick barely held back with effort.

"Shark Bowgun!" Blue fired his Battle Gear at Porcuprick to disorientate him. "Alright, now let's hit him hard."

The other three then summoned their own Battle Gear. "Snake Axe!"

"Tiger Claw!"

"Phoenix Shot!"

Blue, Black and Yellow then combined their weapons. "Land-sea Blaster!" They aimed the weapon at the same time as Pink. "Land Power/Sea Power!"

Silver then converted his weapon into another mode. "Silver Spear Blaster!"

At the same time the trio fired their combined weapon and Silver threw his Spear for an attack, Pink fired her Phoenix Shot. "Sky Strike!" The three attacks combined into one which hit Porcuprick.

But he soon emerged from the explosion unscathed. "It'll take more than that to stop me.", he laughed.

"If you want more than that, then we've got you covered.", Black stated. "Let's Power Up!"

Everyone took out their Legendary Morphers and Ranger Keys. "Super Mega Mode!" After inserting the keys, they were all upgraded into their enhanced forms.

"Super Megaforce Blue!"

"Super Megaforce Yellow!"

"Super Megaforce Green!"

"Super Megaforce Pink!"

The Wild Fury Rangers continued to spectate while their wounds recuperated. "Wait, why did he go from black to green?", Trunks asked.

The now Green stopped posing to answer this. "Well you see, there's a simple explanation for that…"

"No time.", Yellow berated him. "We have an alien to deal with." The Megaforce Rangers then ran in to continue the battle.

Onboard his escape ship, inside a cockpit resembling coral, Dapperfly laughed. "They should've realised I'd have a secondary escape craft grown especially to make my escape. They'll never catch me."

"Guess again.", Tory said as he leapt in and fired his Super Mega Blaster. "I'm not planning to let you escape."

"Pfft. One of you thinks he can topple me?", Dapperfly asked. "Well then, let's see what you've got."

"Right.", Troy nodded, as he took out his Legendary Morpher and a new Ranger Key. "Legendary Ranger Mode: Dino Charge! Unleash the Power!" After transforming into Dino Charge Red, Troy summoned some help. "Let's go, Mini-Rex." The smaller version of the T-Rex Zord and combined with it, accessing the power-set's Battlizer. "T-Rex Supercharge, activate! Dinosaur might, ready to fight!"

"I don't care if you're using dinosaur might or veggie mite, you're going to be reduced to trite.", Dapperfly announced as the pair began to fight. Troy launched a kick towards Dapperfly, before unleashing a flurry of strikes with his gun wielding fists, firing a shot at Dapperfly's face.

Down on the ground, the Super Megaforce team summoned their strongest weapon. "Super Mega Cannon!" Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink inserted their Ranger Keys into the sides, before Silver took hold of the weapon and inserted his own Key into the back, causing all 5 to align. "Super Mega Final Strike!" They unleashed a blast resembling their primary Zord, the flying boat known as the Sky Ship, that crashed into Porcuprick.

But unfortunately, he managed to deflect it. "You fools. These new Rangers couldn't defeat me before I powered up. Now I'm unstoppable." He unleashed a flurry of spikes from his body that hit the 5 veteran Rangers, sending them reeling. "And now I get two sets for the price of one." He charged up his sword with energy, preparing to launch another attack.

But before he could do so, something came down from the sky, and knocked him back. When the smoke cleared, it revealed a red Ranger with a pair of coattails, a helmet with a design resembling a whale at the top, and sporting a mouthplate on the bottom, with a whale insignia on his chest. He was wielding the Whale Hyper Morpher. "Is that… Jonas?", Tora asked.

"It can't be.", Lenny insisted. "He died hundreds of years ago."

The confusion was cleared up when Johnny spoke. "Rising up from the Depths, Wild Fury Whale Ranger!"

Everyoen was shocked to hear this. "Do Johnny was the one who inherited Jonas's power.", Marina commented. "Slightly annoying, but I can live with it."

The Super Megaforce Rangers were in equal shock. "So the new Red Ranger got a new power.", Blue noted. "Fascinating."

"It doesn't matter what you look like!", Porcuprick snarled. "I'll still take you out." As he ran forward to attack, Johnny used his free hand to deliver a punch, that sent Porcuprick reeling. "I- You actually hurt me!"

"That's right.", Johnny nodded. "This time, you're not getting away. Because the 11 of us are gonna finish you now, while Troy takes care of your friend."

"I like the sound of that.", Silver commented as he pressed on his belt buckle, summoning 15 Sixth Ranger Keys that combined into one that he plugged into the bottom of his Morpher, causing a larger version to attach to him as armour. "Earth's Defenders Never Surrender! Super Megaforce Gold!"

"Let's go for it.", Yellow called out as everyone on her team stood up and pulled out either a Blaster or a Saber. Unbeknownst to them, Mantack was still present, but invisible, using his Anima Arm to read her mind, before the Megaforce team charged in to do battle.

"Don't leave us out of this.", Luke stated as he and the other Wild Fury Rangers joined the fight.

Back on the ship, Troy elbowed Dapperfly, before using the monster's shoulders to flip over him and deliver a knee to the chest. "I won't let you continue to attack the Earth." He then threw Dapperfly to one side with a free hand.

On the ground, Gold used his Super Gold Spear, which had converted into an anchor, to summon manifestations of the Silver Rangers from in Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Wild Force, Operation Overdrive, RPM, Megaforce's Robo Knight, Dino a charge and Beast Morphers, with the Gold Rangers from RPM and Beast Morphers also appearing. "Super Silver Slash!" All the Rangers moved in to deliver a slash attack, before Gold came in and dug his weapon into Porcuprick's body. "Hey new guy. You up for a double team?"

"You know it.", Luke nodded as he changed forms. "Primal Change: Wolf!" He then zoomed towards Porcuprick, plugging his Reel Blaster into a similar spot. "Ready? Fire!"

The two unleashed energy bursts that sent Porcuprick flying backwards, before Tora and Pink leapt up to consecutively fire on him, followed by Lenny and Yellow launching slash attacks.

Back on the ship, Dapperfly was knocked against a control panel. "You're getting a little too persistent for my liking.", he grumbled.

"Believe me, I'm not done.", Troy insisted as he pointed the T-Rex Super Morpher at Dapperfly and fired point blank for additional damage.

"Don't think this'll give you a net gain.", Dapperfly stated as he blocked the next hit. "Even if I fall here, Mantack's still one step closer to discovering the Whale Zord's location. Archris will pay through the roof for that."

"I don't care.", Troy stated as he kicked his foe back before leaping back several feet. "Because the Wild Fury Rangers will protect it. I know they can." As Dapperfly stumbled forth, Troy combined his two weapons, plugged in two different Dino Chargers, and then fired. "Dino Charge 10 Zord Victory Maximum Final Attack!" He sent projected images of the heads of all 10 Dino Charge Zords into Dapperfly, wounding him fatally.

"You fool, you've taken out the ship's main reactor vent.", Dapperfly cried out as he crackled with energy. "Now we're both doomed." With that said, he exploded, with the ship swiftly following suit, the whole room surrounded by flames.

From the ground, the Rangers watched as the ship exploded entirely." "Troy!", Pink called out as she collapsed to her knees.

"Well would you look at that?", Porcuprick laughed. "My ally may have fallen, but he managed to bring one of you down with him. You might as well surrender now. With one of you gone, you're not at full power."

Everyone seemed to get dejected at this. Everyone except for Johnny. "Troy never gave up trying to defeat you and save the world. And neither will I."

Everyone was re-moralised by this. "Right.", the other 10 Rangers nodded as they got up.

"Let's end this guy.", Yellow announced.

"Way ahead of you.", Lenny nodded.

"Super Mega…" The two teams' respective Blues and Yellows used their Sabers to deliver a slash attack.

"Primal…" The two Greens, Tora and Pink then fired their Blasters, enhancing the beams.

"Strike!" Luke and Gold absorbed the blasts with their weapons and sent them careening towards Porcuprick, sending him backwards.

Finally, Johnny pointed the Whale Hyper Morpher, pumping it three times, which caused the barrel of the weapon to spin around. "Super Primal Blow!" He unleashed a large torrent of water from the barrel that blew him backwards, but made contact with Porcuprick, managing to cause his body to begin to crack.

"In the end, you came up with something that caught me off guard." With these last words, Porcuprick was blown apart by the force of the blast.

Johnny then pulled himself up from the crater, undoing his Morph by folding the Hyper Morpher back into its dormant form. The device then disappeared. "Looks like that packed a bit too much of a punch." The Gold from Megaforce then came up to him. "You must be Orion. Troy told me about you."

Orion then reverted his own Morph. "And based on what your friends called you, you're Johnny. I have to say, I was impressed by that power you just used."

"It's something new for me.", Johnny admitted. "Troy gave me the means to unlock it, the last time I saw him."

As if on cue, what appeared to be the Red Space Ranger flew down on his Galaxy Glider, before leaping down and reverting into Troy, who staged forward. "I spent a little too long in Legend Mode. Probably shouldn't have."

"Troy!" The other Megaforce Rangers called out as they also reverted and went over to hug him.

Johnny on the other hand, went over to his own team. "What happened to the Whale Morpher?", Marina asked.

"Who knows?", Johnny asked. "Wherever it is, I'm sure that neither Archris or Mantack can get their hands on it."

Onboard his ship, Mantack was talking with Archris. "So it's agreed, if I recover the Whale Zord for you, you'll pay me an additional 700 pounds of thallium."

"Yes.", the Archris hologram nodded. "That should cover the loss of your crew members against the Rangers." The holographic head signed off.

Now by himself, Mantack turned around. "Pah, I no longer need those reprobates. Thanks to the memories I pulled from that Gia girl's mind, I can call upon some of the most threatening creatures in Ranger history. Starting with the most vivid memories." His eyes glowed, as the figure began to manifest in front of him. "Ah, Prince Vrak. Welcome back to the world of the living."

Back at the zoo house, after the introductions had been made, Noah, the Blue Ranger for Megaforce, placed Troy on the sofa. "He'll be alright. He's just exhausted from that last battle and needs to rest."

"I guess we can owe him some peace.", Trunks responded as he walked over to Troy's prone form. "I may have given him grief, but in the end he came through and helped us defeat our enemy. He really is a legend."

"Oh you don't know the half of it.", Jake - the Black/Green of the visiting Rangers - commented. "Have you ever heard of the time he basically served as a backup act against a musical Insectoid?"

"Not to mention the time his solution to an electromagnet was to try and hold on to our weapons.", Noah added.

"No, but they sound interesting.", Lenny gushed. "Tell us more."

Nearby, Stevie was in the process of gushing over Emma. "Ohmigod, I can't believe that one of my favourite nature photographers is also a Power Ranger. That just makes you even cooler." Emma for her part, didn't seem uncomfortable about this. She merely took the photo that Stevie was currently holding - of the time she and Gia had discovered a rare plant when back in high school - and took out a pen to sign it. "And she's signing one of my prints. This is so flash."

"I've never seen this side of Stevie before.", Marina commented as they watched this.

"Is this how humans react in the presence of someone famous?", Tora asked. "Should we be more excited to meet legendary Rangers?"

"Don't worry, it's okay to be excited when you meet your idols.", Emma assured the pair. "When we met the Legendary Rangers that the Green Morphin' Master teleported in to help us, we were pretty starstruck. And before that, Gia and I were disappointed we missed out on meeting Jayden or Mentor Ji from the Samurai Rangers."

Jeremy on the other hand was watching all of this from the sidelines with Sir Caesar and Orion. "Just when I thought we'd finally figured humans out, they become even stranger.", he commented.

"Jeremy my boy, we will never understand humans fully.", Caesar chuckled.

"Amen to that.", Orion said in response. "When I first arrived on Earth, I found a few lockers at a high school to sleep in and no-one else was taking advantage of this arrangement." Jeremy and Sir Caesar only looked at him nervously.

Finally, Johnny and Luke were approached by Gia. "Hey, I didn't get the chance to properly thank you for helping us out back there.", she said.

"Hey, I should be the one thanking you.", Luke noted. "If you guys hadn't shown up when you did, we'd have been done for against Porcuprick."

"And without Troy, we wouldn't have got our hands on the Whale Hyper Morpher.", Johnny added. "And I wouldn't have been able to use it if Troy hadn't given it to me."

"We are all Power Rangers.", Gia pointed out. "So it makes sense that we sometimes have to ask for help in battling evil."

"So I assume you won't mind if I ask you guys to stay for a while?", Johnny then asked. "Since I still don't know how I can access the Whale powers again, and that could cause some problems down the line."

"You'll have to ask Troy about that.", Gaia laughed. "But don't worry, the rest of us will have your back until you've got things sorted out."

"Thank you.", Johnny smiled. "Coming from one of my idols, that really means a lot."

And so, with the Megaforce Rangers joining hem for the time being, the Wild Fury Rangers prepared to buckle up for another battle in the future.
