"… It's too early, seriously.." Branchie heard Casey say.

It was morning but also the first day back at school and after an adventurous Summer, Casey would have to get used to getting up early on school mornings despite being Raccoon Girl and patrolling all night getting dressed in her usual signature attire of her black hooded top with khaki-green shorts which had a hole in the back for her tail, putting the hood up over her furry head floating downstairs then scampering sluggishly into the kitchen sitting at the table which Rocket noticed, making her milky coffee just asPhylla entered in a really good mood making Branchie gove the blonde-haired girl a lookk that told her Casey wasn't fully awake yet seeing the female-kit quiet especially when Lylla was there as right now, she wasn't in the mood.

"Morning and see it's the first day of school for Phylla and the first day back for Casey, you excited." she said.

"I guess Ms Lylla.." Casey mumbled while eating feeling Branchie squeeze her paw gently, she knew her best pal wasn't all bright eyed and bushy tailed some mornings which Rocket had explained was okay, as lomg as she didn't take it out on others seeing Lylla look concerned by Casey's reply.

"I'm excited about school, mommy." Phylla said making Rocket grin plus he was taking them so he could maybe cheer Casey up on the way there knowing once she reunited with her pals, she might be in a better mood plus had made their lunches seeing Phylla excited but Branchie snuggled into Casey's hoodie like a blanket so Lylla wouldn't detect her and keep her home, knowing Casey always had a better day when she was with her.

"Let's go guys, but it'll be okay." Lylla told them seeing them leaving the house with Rocket.

"I am Groot." Branchie whispered to Casey in the backseat while Phylla was sitting beside Rocket making Casey frowning which Rocket saw in his mirror but saw Branchie cuddling her as they pulled up at Avengers Campus seeing Phylla jump out of the car happily but Casey followed behind after her with Branchie entering the building seeing Peach and Raya there hugging Casey making her feel better.

"It's so good to see you guys after so long and gained some new family members this summer." she told them not seeing Yoko which made her frown knowing Rocke was moving his family to 616 guessing that was what was happening heading to the auditorium for the Back to School assembly so Casey, Peach and Raya were sitting together only Casey zoned out during it making Peach and Raya grin but weirded out by theblonde haired girl waving, seeing Rocket with Dean Carol guessing she was who Casey had been talking about.

"So, how was school guys." Lylla asked both Casey and Phylla later that afternoon when both female youhgsters returned home seeing Casey go upstairs to her room, while Phylla was telling her all about ut, and Casey's response bothered her seeing Rocket home noticing the frown on Lylla's face as she told him.

"School just wipes her ojt, she'll be okay, by dinnertime don't worry about it." heyreassured her making her hopehe was right making burritoes for dinner knowing it was one of his andCasey's favourites so it might perk Casey up guessing the first day of school might've been overwhelming for her, guessing she missed Yoko but had gotten confirmation that Yoko was returning to school which would make Casey happy, going upstairs seeing she'd done her homework sleeping deciding not to wake her
