Two days later, Hiccup woke up and ate breakfast and remembers that today is the date with Astrid.

While he ate breakfast, Stoick nervous tells his son "uh Hiccup? There's something I have to tell you and don't get upset."

Hiccup ask "what would that be, dad?"

Stoick ask "you remember before you left to go end the dragon raids and canceled the wedding between you and Astrid?"

Hiccup ask "yeah, what about it?"

Valka scoffs "your father sent word that you broke off your engagement to Astrid and we just received a letter family that would like you to meet their adopted daughter for a date."

Hiccup ask "when does she arrive?"

Stoick answers "in a week and her name is Heather."

Hiccup comments "I'm courting Astrid now."

Valka ask "did you ask her father if you could court his daughter?"

Hiccup shakes his head "no. I figure she could date me now since she wants me now that I ended the dragon raids."

In the evening, Astrid ask "where are we going for our date, Hiccup?"

Hiccup answers "to an island North of here."

Astrid climbs up behind Hiccup on Toothless and flew to the island North of Berk.

When they got there, Hiccup had a sheet down with food and fruit and a fire going off to the side.

Astrid ask "when did you set this all up?"

Hiccup answers "about two hours before meeting you. The fish has to be cooked before we eat. I didn't think you would be comfortable eating cold fish."

Astrid smiles and kisses his lips before he starts cooking the fish over the fire pit.

They ate the fish in peace.

After dinner, Hiccup tells her "Astrid, this morning, my parents told me that they receive a message from a family to have me meet their adopted daughter. Her name is Heather and don't worry. I only have eyes for you."

Astrid smiles at his affection and says "good because I love you too."

Hiccup and Astrid watch the sunset together while eating oranges.

Astrid ask "do you think about our wedding ceremony because our house is completed?"

Hiccup sighs "the last time I tried to please you and you turned away from me because of my reputation."

Astrid sighs "I'm sorry I turned my back on you, Hiccup. Can I make it up to you?"

Hiccup ask "what did you have in mind?"

Astrid tackles him down on the sheet and smirks "I want to kiss you senseless."

Two hours later, they return back to Berk.

Hiccup walked Astrid back home and kissed her lips goodbye.

Astrid walked inside her home to see her mother standing there.

Ingrid sternly say "your late returning for curfew."

Astrid whines "come on mom, I'm almost an adult! Why should I have a curfew for?"

Magnus answers "it's so you don't get kidnapped."

Ingrid smiles "I'm glad that you got Hiccup's forgiveness."

Astrid blushes "I been kissing him nonstop to show him that I want him now and that I misjudged him."

Ingrid grins "I think I hear wedding bells soon."

Astrid blushes "mom? I may have a problem."

Magnus ask "and what problem would that be? Don't tell me you already consummated with Hiccup."

Astrid shakes her head "no, we haven't, but Stoick sent out a message that his son was single and broke off the wedding ceremony and this morning, he told Hiccup that a family is coming to visit with their adopted daughter to meet him."

Ingrid comments "it can't be that bad."

They went to bed to sleep.

A week later, Hiccup walked over to the forge to work.

Gobber ask "what are you doing here? Your father told me to give you the day off so that you would be at the docks to meet this Heather."

Hiccup comments "I was going to make a present for Astrid."

Gobber smirks "she finally fall for your dragon boy charms."

Hiccup shakes his head "I think she wanted me to kill a dragon to be called a Viking because me just training dragons didn't impress-"

He widen his eyes and leaves the forge to go be alone somewhere.

He sneaked around the villagers until he got to the ramp that goes to the docks and disappeared.

Two hours later, a ship arrives at the docks.

The watch tower blows the horn to signal a visiting ship.

Stoick and Valka came to the ramp to see Hiccup already down at the docks.

The family exit the ship and a nervous girl at age of sixteen and had a seductive body like Astrid.

Hiccup ask "you must be the family that message my father back and this must be Heather, but I believe she looks a little like Dagur The Derange."

Heather ask "how would you figure that I would look like some man for?"

Hiccup ask "do you have any belongings that could help you find your real parents?"

Heather answers "just this horn with this crest on it."

Hiccup looks at it and says "maybe my father would know."

Heather comments "you seem handsome and have a mystery charm to yourself."

Hiccup blushes "thank you, come with me and I can tell you about myself."

Heather follows him up the ramp and ask "do I have to worry about your ex-fiance?"

Hiccup sighs "we only been on one date and now I don't think she was ever interested in me until I prove that I'm a Viking and kill a dragon. I befriended five big dragons and a school of Terrible Terrors and she wasn't impressed with me and said I wasn't her type of husband which lead to me canceling the wedding ceremony. I don't know if we have a stable relationship right now because she dropped me as a friend for eleven years."

They walk to the hill that overlooks the docks and sat down talking.

Heather comments "that doesn't sound like a girl worth your time and love."

Hiccup sighs "the two things that hurt the most was when she said she would prefer a boy better than me as her boyfriend and the second one was when she told her best friend that she planned on wanting annulment after our wedding night and the only way she would accept me is for me to end the dragon raids. I nearly got killed in the process."

Heather gaped "she wanted you to risk your life just to win her love?! I couldn't demand a boy to risk his life to win my love."

Hiccup smile "thank you for comfort words."

Heather grabs his hand to hold and look him in the eyes and says "Hiccup for a girl like that may not be worth your time and love if she didn't see you worth anything for eleven years."

Hiccup's eyes fill with tears.

Heather wiped his eyes and wrapped her arms around him to comfort him "it's okay, Hiccup. Let the pain out."

They spend the day getting to know each other more.

Astrid found them on the hill and left after their conversion and walked home and crashed on her bed heartbroken at how mean she has been to Hiccup for eleven years and pushed him to the point of getting himself killed to end the dragon raids just to win her love and approval.

Two hours later, Ingrid walked upstairs to check her daughter to see her upset over something and ask "what's wrong, daughter?"

Astrid whines "I have to figure out a way to get Hiccup to love me again. Right now, this girl, Heather is swaying him into her arms and has a seductive body like mine."

Ingrid sighs "oh, daughter. I'm sure he won't fall for her unless he realizes that you weren't his time and love after being mean to him."

Astrid comments "try eleven years."

Ingrid scowls "Astrid?!"

Night time came and everyone was in the Meade Hall eating dinner.

Stoick walked over to where his son and Heather were siting and ask "do I have to be concerned about anything?"

Heather shakes her head "no, chief. Me and Hiccup are friends. Nothing romantic between us right now."

Hiccup comments "I kind of like you as a friend too."

After dinner Hiccup and Heather left the Meade Hall.

Snotlout follows them and ask "so you let Astrid go?"

Hiccup sighs "I don't know what to do or describe our relationship or call it that after eleven years and wanted me to kill myself to try end the dragon raids."

Heather comments "you must be the jerk who beat up Hiccup on a daily bases."

Hiccup leaves with Heather.

He ask "have you seen lights in the sky before?"

Heather smiles "another time, Hiccup. Right now I think you should be with Astrid. I seen her in the Meade Hall playing with her food looking sad."

Hiccup sighs "your probably right."

Heather walks a few steps before Hiccup grabs her hand to stop her and gives her a kiss on her cheek "that was for comforting me earlier."

Heather hugs him "no problem. Your a sweet boy. That Astrid girl should beg for your forgiveness after hurting you so deeply. Goodnight, Hiccup" and walks to the inn to sleep.

Hiccup walks to his new house that he would have been sharing with Astrid.

While he looked at everything with a candle lit, a voice interrupts him "it's beautiful isn't it?"
