ANNOUNCEMENT
Characters as in "Before Introduction" to Runa in time placement of this story, as people asked: Koneko (from Highschool DxD AU where they won with everyone keeping their abilities and gears, and few select others that are supposed to be dead are not yet they're redeemed), Rin Nohara (Before official Naruto Series begins with her still dying), Sonata Dusk (before losing the Battle of Bands against the Rainbooms, but gemstone was purified before arrival in secret, unlike her two other sisters, and what was written in previous chapters).
Hiccup & Astrid as their own cannon pairing, but plans for future things to come.
Current Pairing for our main character, and protagonist (Hiccup and few others as others), Runa: Koneko, Rin Nohara, Sonata Dusk, (three out of seven girls, and part of it or another during the "Movie 2 Arc", as I lastly plan on a surprise girl when she goes back to her true time as part of the limited pairings, alongside the others in "Things to come", and maybe another of the limited girls during the third movie to which is a surprise)

There are also obvious hints to some other pairings as chapters go on, but letting you all figure them out. And I also noticed there were some errors once again in the story, but I will correct them once the 2nd Movie is fully placed into this fic itself, and other previous other story chapters as well.
Loki is indeed her father and she is fully blood adopted by James yet even he is more than he seemed too, if you all recall chapter one of this fic? But Erebus is Lily's Mother by official means (making said goddess Runa's grandmother, alongside Marvel's Death and few other entities as grandparents or as actual parents that have yet to be revealed) as in a sense, things will be later explained by a specific someone before the starting of the 2nd Movie, and leaving that slight spoil at that, as things will take interesting twists and turns as the before 2nd Movie Plot has begun already.
A day later, December 21st of 811 (2014 true year), with Runa within Stoick's and Hiccup's Home on Berk in the late afternoon:
Runa was glad that her mater (mother, in Latin Terms) did come back sooner then later on, as she did bring back a few more gifts and a surprise of Rias and her non-blooded kin or in terms, her Peerage, and with taking Koneko to the side to speak further things, alongside a few others she didn't expect to see as well but wasn't yet introduced either, which included her elder sister of sorts to not only her destined one, but also that came with them was her younger aunt by her mother/mater, but by the Nothing Drake's look for before they could introduce herself from chasing after her from the sights, she sighed to herself at guessing it would have to wait till after the holiday's.
She did get to meet Rias formerly this time, alongside her boyfriend and also learning they were going to be married soon, alongside a female named Akeno and a few others to him, as he had brought his own Peerage as well to which they also explained the best they could to the Vikings about that when they arrived in the wee hours of the morning.
The reason for the introduction was that she wanted to get to know them further to which they understood from her views as she still saw the couple: Rias and Issei, as her siblings.
Though, Sesshōmaru and Zilanette took off with Rin, and didn't say when they will be returning as he heard of something of his utter interest, and Sonata was resting over the flu she caught to which, much to Runa's ire, wouldn't wake up from as well to know she may have caught something upon her arrival in Berk, and was told to simply enjoy herself as Doby agreed to take care of her, alongside the unusual woman who split herself to have another twin alternative of her on a spare bed, in the same room.
Runa, back to her, was rather startled as it only took ten minutes to fully heal herself with the aid of Ophis and Rias of course with them explaining due to her eating from the one tree, she would possibly recover faster and depending on what type of poison or even injury it would be, but there were some unknown things that went with those that ate from the fruit too, to which, wasn't recorded or even written down, much to Ophis' displeasure at finding out from that.
Which Runa was rather grateful of having Serena not learning of this, or even seeing her state she was placed into with her soon blushing as she was all alone, within the Haddock Home at the moment, of knowing her body counteracted from the poison and not the normal means, from barfing it up as dark purplish miasma into a large oak bucket that was thankfully carried outside before it melted into nothing.
Though at times once she was out and about from yesterday from her healing, she did falter in secret without anyone noticing from feeling a slight pulsating situation down below, her body trembling a bit, and her eyes slitting into slits now and then as within her, Deathwing facepalmed to himself at forgetting things and hoping whenever she visited him, would explain things a lot more better than the Night Fury did.
Besides that, an unexpected snowstorm hit Berk itself majorly within the night to make Runa and the others bundle up more then normal and was glad that she was given a blanket as she felt both hot and cold, at the same time as she read from a book she was given as a early gift by Rias from telling her of her liking to read at times, fictional books: The Hobbit, before she sighed and placed it down with a very thin dragon scale as a book marker from her pet dragon she sent back to the mansion itself, and hoping things were going as planned for the secretive party to have after the Hooligan Clan's own version that will be happening tomorrow.
To mention for a moment, the storm resulted Kryptys to leave earlier than planned to heal with a pleased smile and flabbergasting Runa herself when she told her she, whenever the shifter kraken had children, would be a godmother to one or two of her chosen children if she was to have any with a marking-like wrist bracelet made of some type of unknown coral and metal combined, on her right wrist to know whenever said child was born, would be her godchild or even godchildren… Though the one gemstone she knew felt similar to Kryptys, ended up vanishing from her own wears and couldn't find it at all, as not known to them, outside forces may or may not have seen this as an opportunity in both parties favors, and leave it at that, for the one child to may end up as siblings to an unexpected other within Runa's true timeline.
Back to the holiday, it was labeled as Snoggletog, as of today, to which the name of it was a mystery all to itself as the few days after would be both a few days before Christmas or Yuletide to her and those in the know, and the same day mentioned, would be the day they named it in another ridiculous day for gift exchanges: Bartering Exchange Day, to which they can give the gifts to those they fancy or other with an equal exchange of something for them, in return, or simply gift said person as well be either family or lover.
To make Runa and those knowing said day, would probably host their holiday later in the early evening as it takes place up to the mid-afternoon, to mix their holiday with theirs.
Once she placed her book down gently on the stand with seeing that the gift she gave to Stoick early from being handcarved in order from her true time as a shield as it held nordic runes and a few images of himself in battle and more, from his slight tales to her as etched carvings and didn't know yet to where to place it, she glanced upwards with seeing slight dust falling down in knowing that Hiccup's Dragon was on the roof once again.
She wrapped the shall-like thick blanket around her frame and knowing everyone else was doing their own thing this early, and with her mater babysitting her own child, by following Hiccup as he stated in a rush to get Toothless to stop, "Okay, okay, I'm coming. Well, good morning, Mr. Bossy!"
Toothless just giggles at Hiccup once they are outside, and Hiccup to amuse Runa with her holding back a few shivers from her entire body once again from it being her own body, not the cold, imitates Toothless' growl. "Do you always have to wake me up so early to go flying-" without warning, Hiccup's metal foot slips on the ice, but Toothless catches him.
"Stupid leg. Oh, thanks, buddy, I'm okay. Yeah, we can go flying now." Hiccup tells him for only both him and Runa to soon be grossed out as Toothless burps in Hiccup's face.
Runa giggles softly while ignoring Hiccup's brief look to her in annoyance at that, but stated to his dragon and reptilian friend, "Eww, eww, what? Eww! Argh! Toothless." He then gently began to guide Toothless then, seeing how excited the Night Fury was, "Come on! Let's see what you've got today!"
He turned to Runa who waved him off to amuse the teen male Viking as he nodded, before blinking as she sneezed unexpectedly and saw in both hands they both had travel-like viking-based thermoses of sorts filled with hot cocoa somehow and with a gentle and comforting leather strap for eased carrying, told him gently, "Go ahead as we both know how he wants to fly whenever he can. I'll just go into the village and see what's going on for your Holiday, Big Brother…" she paused before making Hiccup amused and Toothless letting out a annoyed groan-like hiss in playfulness at her as she sniffed near the dragon in partial disgust, "But next time Toothless, can you go easy on the cod as your maw needs to be cleaned at some point if your belching is that stinky, as there is some remains on your teeth."
Once they were gone, she went into the village before bumping into someone she didn't expect just yet, as she was from what she labeled as another little sister from her Big Brother for Issei and his group, and the same for a little sister as well to Rias and hers, accidentally stated yet allowed in their presence that is to which they were glad alongside in secret, her mater who during the time of her recovery, pulled Lilith to the side and told her things after seeing she settled down.
The female being mentioned, is a young woman around 5'5 (166 CM) and having chin-length blue hair with a dyed green fringe on the right side and brown eyes which are mistaken for dark yellow at times. She wears a uniform that consists of a red button top with a white tie and red shorts. She also wears a black waist cape as well as a purple cape over her left shoulder.
This was Xenovia Quarta, and is considered Issei's Knight Piece within his Peerage, to which Runa was given a brief talk by Rias about the chess pieces and more within a full hour, after her awakening that is for an introduction, to when she asked.
Which if I don't mention it, I would get the frying-pan-of-doom to the face by a select few people: Xenovia's body measurements are B87-W58-H88 cm or B34-W23-H35 in inches (large E-Cup), and her body weight is 56 kg or 123 lbs.

"Sorry about that, I was thinking too deeply again," Runa told the female before her as Xenovia waved her off with a gentle smile while being one of the few who wasn't intimidated by her appearance upon the first encounter, "No issues with me as you do have time to think while still recovering, despite things."
Runa nodded as she thought of the teen in front of her now looking somewhat familiar, but they easily connected alongside a few others for a sibling-like relationship or even friends in moments, to which, secretly, Rias and Issei were relieved at that.
Xenovia though blinked at Runa by her head-tilted question to her unexpected question, "Why do I have a feeling we met before?" To the blue with dyed green fringe teen to which she did ponder when she was going to ask this question, as she too thought that Runa felt familiar by not her body, but her aura and voice she had, "Not sure, but I could maybe guess things."
Now this perplexed Runa to which Xenovia gently shook her head before being amused and a little concerned as Runa shivered unknowingly with covering herself a bit more before complaining to her, "How come you and the few Vikings seemed hardly affected by this blasted chill?"
"I guess it's due to being a Reborned Devil Piece? Not sure… Though, Lady Ophis did state what I was and how the system ran, right?" Xenovia answers the dragon girl before asking her to which she gets a gentle nod from Runa, in wordless return. "Then I hope you choose wisely with the set she gave you as she actually demanded the maker of the system for those."
Now Runa was suspicious yet inwardly surprised by this outcome, and asked her softly to get Xenovia to understand as she inwardly seethed by Rias explaining why Runa was or as she was, in the first place, "Why would she give me something like that?"
"She's your mother…" Xenovia began before she paused and shrugged for a few seconds and resumed, "Well, as to her current gender and what she wants to be at this time, as she could be anything in that department. But you are her youngest offspring born by natural means in a unique way, unlike your aunt who was born by your mother's siphoned power."
Runa nodded at this as she only got a glimpse of Lilith, but not gotten to be introduced fully to her to which she blinked a few times from gentle back pats by Xenovia as she gave her a look and smile, "You'll be able to see her fully at some point I guess, but don't worry as you probably will get along greatly."
Runa then sighed before smiling small at the teen before her by her offer, "As you know I have a sword, perhaps we can see what you can do thanks to that Esdeath woman training you to when you can train, and maybe I can give you a few pointers?"
"That sounds good, but it seems Issei's calling you from my house." Runa agreed before telling her and Xenovia rolled her eyes at guessing that from them easily hearing his shout in the distance, and already guessed what it was, "Well, I best get going and see what happened as we can't leave the guy alone for a mere moment when it comes to cooking, cya later Rue." She then left the dragon girl alone and headed to Runa's mansion.
As she resumed her walking, Runa saw that the Hooligan Clan were indeed setting things up, with her irked at seeing they must be used to the cold of sorts, unlike her, at a slightly unique version of Christmas being set up around the village itself, and with both Viking and Dragon aiding one another to do this.
"Here?" A female Viking states to Gobber and holding something that Runa couldn't get a chance to see while riding a Gronckle, as she guessed it looked like a shield, but wasn't certain.
"Yes, yes, nooo, nooo, no, that one a wee bit higher!" Gobber was instructing the female to which she asked again with him stating as Stoick gave Runa a soft look from coming up behind his friend at telling the female Viking, "There! Ah, that's the spot!"
Runa did glance to her left to see a costumed Viking child growling playfully at Meatlug as a cutout of a younger Gronckle, and Meatlug playfully roars back before giving a playful chase.
"Attaboy, Meatlug!" Fishlegs tells his dragon to which Runa amusedly shook her head and pulling her cover closer to her body for more warmth, and enjoying herself with knowing that Fishlegs mostly kept on thinking his dragon was a male, not female, as she knew he was adapt on dragons, but not their true genders at times.
"Are you ready, girl?" Astrid asked her dragon to which Stormfly chirped and nodded as the blonde teen tossed two shields in the air, and Stormfly used her tail spikes to nail them to a giant, wooden Christmas tree-like structure.
Runa was glad that both races of species of human and dragon were getting along, and Stoick didn't mind as Runa followed him and his friend as he told Gobber in mixed emotions, one being excited and pleased as to this coming holiday, "Odin's beard, Gobber. Vikings spending the winter holiday with dragons. What would our fathers say?" Gobber chuckled as he simply stated within moments with humor, "They'd think we'd lost our minds!" Stoick laughed as he replied in mind, "Indeed."
Stoick laughed a few moments at being happy and responded to everyone then, "Well done. Well done, all of you! I never thought I'd live to see this day. Peace on the island of Berk. This will surely be the greatest holiday we've ever seen!"
Both Vikings and dragons cheer, with Runa smiling but felt off again as her body shivered in place with her not seeing Astrid glancing at her as the dragon girl perked up from hearing something, and heard multiple harmonized roars up above with Stoick being startled as hundreds of dragons are flying above Berk, and the island's resident dragons all join them and fly away but this unexpected turn of events, as amongst the few hundreds of dragons, were species Runa knew were unexpected as well… And the urge to join them was quelled too, from Koneko appearing behind her and making Runa softly glance in confusion by her gentle yet firm hold.
"What in Thor's name?!" Gobber declared as they witnessed this with Snotlout dangling from his spot on a sodden head carving as his dragon took off, "Come back! Where are you going?"
"Meatlug!" Fishlegs declared as he went to prevent his dragon from fleeing with the other dragons as Astrid stated to herself in growing worry, and confusion as to what was going on, "Where's Hiccup?"
Meanwhile with him and Toothless, he asked his dragon with a gentle head pat as they began to glide through some clouds, with him wearing his helmet, "What do you say, bud? Wanna go again?" Without warning, they both began to swerve the dragons en masse, and even narrowly dodged a female titan changewing, "Whoa! Aaaaahhh! Oh, no! My helmet!" His helmet fell off his head and began heading into the water, and Toothless dived for Hiccup's lost helmet.
"Toothless! No, no, no, no! Whoa... Wait! Toothless! Stop! We'll get it later, bud. We need to get back and find out what's going on." Hiccup managed to stop Toothless from going after the helmet to which he didn't see his dragon glance at the direction for later, as they flew back to Berk and avoided many dragons as they did so.
Back at the village, everyone was worried as Astrid failed at stopping Stormfly from flying off as well with Runa glancing at the further crowd to see Callie giving her a knowing look as if she expected this bizarre outcome to happen, to which Koneko noticed sharply with Runa giving a look for later, and knew she would have to go chit-chat with the pregnant woman soon or something as she was hesitant about going to her about her body's issues.
It was at this odd timing that Hiccup landed with Astrid gesturing to their fleeing dragons joining the flocks of the wild ones, and the other villagers soon tuning over to greet and state their claims, making the teen male being overwhelmed as Toothless simply watched on from his spot, "Hiccup! What's going on? Where are they going?"
After several moments of the constant chattering of questioning Hiccup, everyone held their ears as they heard a loud echoing roar before glancing right at Runa who decided enough was enough to impress a few specific individuals hidden in plain sight, alongside Toothless as she purposely roared to make the crowd stop, and with both Stoick and Hiccup giving her a wordless look of thanks as the Leader of Berk shouted to everyone, "Calm down! Give him a chance to speak! Hiccup, where are all our dragons going?" He asked his son then.
"Dad... I don't know." Hiccup said as Runa was perplexed that Koneko saw Stormfly trying to encourage Toothless to join them at flying to whatever is going on, but Toothless couldn't because of his tail-fin, which Runa sympathized for.
As the crowd dispersed, Runa trembled as she walked to which she was perplexed as Koneko went wide-eyed, but quickly left to the direction of her own home in utter confusion with a look of later to her mate, as she headed over to her big brother, "I'm not sure what's going on either, Big Brother… But something tells me that it isn't bad but just unexpected is all."
Hiccup and Astrid glanced at each other at this as they knew sometimes that Runa felt unusual things before they saw to astonish them, and even Runa as well, of a larger and unknown set of dragons flying behind the flocks before several more similar or other dragons flew with them and went to the other way to the far-right to which Runa oddly felt a slight stage or case of deja vu of sorts.
"Well, whatever is going on there's possibly a chance of a meeting tonight." Hiccup tells both Astrid and Runa, as she let her two elder siblings go their way as she saw her look for him later about his dragon now being mopey and miserable, of sorts.
Once they were gone, Toothless glanced at her before gazing at the further flock of dragons that held nearly all of Berk's own as she asked him curiously, "You know why they left, right?"
Toothless glanced at her before he kept gazing at the direction the dragons flew off too, and gave a single nod before replying to her gently, in Parseltongue, from knowing she was still learning their draconian tongue in secret, "Yes. It is a special occasion to which you will need to see or hear it to believe, as it was private as well with it being joyous to what you told Hiccup about how you celebrated your merry times."
Runa blinked and guessed any race, even if it's not humane, may have things of their own to celebrate before hearing Toothless let out a gentle snort by her response to his words, "So dragons have their own holidays as well? I thought you and the other races of dragons didn't?"
"It is hard to believe, but we do have several similar types of ways to celebrate ourselves to which this day starts, one for our kind of sorts, to the particular kinds that have issues during this time…" Seeing her look to him, he sighed and made her blink in utter shock by his slight confession, and gazed as to where the dragons that were now farther away, were compared to ants by sight alone, "This is the moment of time for dragons similar to my type of laying, who are expecting, to find a safer place and lay their newborns to hatch and be secured until they are gathered or see how to fly, and attempt it."
"So it's like a small holiday for celebrating the newborns then, and then coming back?" Runa stated more than asked as she got another nod from the male Night Fury, "Yes, Runa. It is only a temporary leave as I figured from how close both of the Berk Drakes and the Humans were, they would be rather confused or worried about them or each other during this precious time, but I would join them if I wasn't the last of my kind, or my own disability."
Runa gently frowned at this and ignored the soft yet tainted whispers of that very dark voice within her once again as she settled to try and comfort her dragon friend with gently rubbing the left side of his head with her claws in gentle strokes to get him relieved a bit before blinking back at her in utter surprise when she stopped a few minutes later, and told him with feeling as she gazed at the sight still of clouds and whatnot, despite covering herself back up to half amuse him and worry over her from herself trembling in place, "I actually feel like that might be a lie the Great Death planted into your head from what you recently entrusted and told me of your harsh life with her, and those you knew back at the Old Nest, Toothless. There has to be other Night Fury races out there, somewhere… Maybe even different types."
"Perhaps you are right, Runa. But as it stands, I can't even think or even imagine if it is true or not, but I would at least if I could, fly and get back Hiccup's Helmet for him." Toothless stated with making Runa guessed then to which he nodded, "You two ran into those migrating dragons, I take it?"
They then sat there for an hour or before Runa felt herself tremble not only the cold this time, but her body as well to which Toothless sniffed, and hid being stunned at how strong willed she was at the moment before stating to make her turn her head at him in being perplexed, especially seeing it was becoming darker quickly then intended for the winter seasons, "Knowing how the leader of this village works, he would call a town meeting… I think you should at least go so you can warm up by the flames they built within the hall."
Both of them got up and Runa blushed in embarrassment as she tripped over herself as Toothless managed to stop her from falling and she wordlessly thanked him as he led her to the hall itself, and didn't see from revealing itself, was a odd, ghostly-like eyeball that vanished.
As soon as she got into the hall after seeing Toothless head back out, she winced from everyone's worries and shouted about how the holiday was being ruined before Stoick from where she could see he was at the large round table, told them all assuredly, and with him also standing on the table itself to prove a point "It's not ruined! We're Vikings! We've been perfectly happy celebrating without dragons for generations! And there's no reason we can't do it again! Now we don't know where they've gone off to. But we have to have faith that they'll be back again soon. Am I right?"
Runa spotted the others as she went over to them, and they all gave her a wordless nod of acknowledging she was there and with the dragon girl being suspicious of Fishlegs as he looked anxious slightly.
"You're right, we are Vikings! We are tough!" Runa hides a small laugh while trying to stay warm as Gobber notices all the shiny bells and baubles attached to his arm and helmet. "Most of the time…" Runa saw her friends were leaving alongside Astrid and Hiccup, and decided despite the Great Hall itself being nice and warm, to follow them instead as Gobber stated aloud to them all, "Let's sing some Snoggletog songs!"
Once outside, Ruffnut stated to them all then, "That was depressing…" and Astrid agreed alongside most of them, "I know! I was looking forward to spending the holiday with Stormfly."
Runa was now truly suspicious of seeing, like Tuffnut was, of Fishlegs whistling happy as he stilled, like they all did by looking at the heavy teen, "What are you so happy about? Don't you miss Meatlug?"
"Me?" Fishlegs stated before telling Tuffnut then in a way, Runa wasn't convinced as it seems he was lying, "Oh! Yeah!" Here, Fishlegs began fake sobbing and feeling, "I miss him so much!" Seeing their looks, especially Runa's, he quickly stated as he took off, "Well, good night!"
Runa blinked from gazing as to where Fishlegs ran to get to his home, by hearing Astrid gasp with a look on her face with her telling them, her eyes bright in a glint as well, "I got an idea! Let's come up with a bunch of new holiday traditions! You know, to bury the sadness!" She was currently herself today, but the idea from her words made Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Snotlout groan.
Before Runa could say that was an interesting idea, Hiccup beat her to it by stating to them while clearly thinking multiple things, but this one has merit, "Actually, Astrid might be on to something."
"Easy for you to say. Your dragon can't go anywhere without you." Tuffnut complained a bit with them seeing Toothless looking over the ledge of a cliff, and with only Runa guessing he was merely thinking of what to do and possibly from their small conversation earlier, as Ruffnut agreed, "Must be nice."
As the teens left, Runa stayed with Astrid and she finally noticing the dragon girl shiver to which she gave the blonde teen girl herself a 'I'll be fine'' gesture, to which the blonde gave a wordless look back of 'You sure', and Runa nodded with a head gesture to Hiccup to get Astrid to understand as she gently patted Runa's arm before heading back to the mansion and possibly her room to start planning things, especially since they knew everyone will be getting up as the sun rises to start the holiday.
As Hiccup gazed at Toothless in competent thought, he hid being jumped by feeling Runa's right hand gently squeeze his left shoulder as he gazed up to her from seeing the worry and concern on her face to him, and asked softly with him finally notice her trembling and shivering form, "You worried about Toothless, Big Brother?"
"You can say that." He only told her as they then began walking to the mansion with knowing his father would be rather late at getting home tonight, despite knowing he will be gone for the time the sun rises, as Hiccup continued his worried thoughts to her, "Toothless possibly never had to maybe hold on to flying to maybe migrate with other dragons in the past, but with his tail…" He was stopped with Runa ignoring the dark voices once again, and inwardly thanked Deathwing of stopping them, by making eye-to-eye contact to know she was serious, "Both of you need to stop worrying about your disabilities as Toothless does want to fly, but he is also worried about you at times, especially when your dreams become nightmares."
Hiccup winced as he didn't expect her to know that, and rubbed his head sheepishly as she crossed her arms while also adjusting the blanket for better warmth, "It's that obvious, huh?" Runa nodded gently to him as they resumed walking before asking him softly, as he looked hesitant, "It wouldn't be the Great Death, right?"
Seeing his face and not answering her, Runa sighed before she looked hesitant, and startled him by her own confession, "I also have nightmares, Big Brother… Most are the very night I became an orphan back in my time, and others… About myself and well, harming you and the others, and even how many times I saw my own death in many ways."
"Why are you having tons of nightmares about that?" Hiccup questions her in concern and shock rolled up into one, and she gave a half-shrug before admitting to him, as they were halfway to the home, "I think it's because I fear losing the most cherished thing I gained only recently, Big Brother, and no… It's not my own freedom to have my own way of my life right now, but…" "But?" Hiccup insisted to her as Runa paused before turning to him and he was rather startled to see unshed tears within her eyes to which she refused to let them fall, "Losing the few things I have left as my new family and friends, even though I missed my actual back in my time, I considered you, Astrid, and everyone here on Berk, that… I just don't know what I would do if I lost you, or anyone else I met… Even the dark voices stating otherwise, in my head."
Hiccup was at a loss for words, yet was now worried about what Runa meant as well about dark voices.
He knew Deathwing wouldn't be the cause of what these dark voices might be, especially meeting him one night from him explaining his reasons for being within her as well, besides the obvious deal he made between her and him.
He did, however, hide his slight rage at recalling from Ophis one night of telling at least him and Astrid some of but not all of Runa's past, and hoped that one day he wouldn't have to deal with The Dursleys or the school itself.
"You won't, Ru-Ru. Nothing will happen to me, Astrid, Stock, or anyone you'll care about… You know this, right?" Hiccup began to state with a questioned statement at the end of his words to try and make her understand, to which Runa was wide-eyed as she didn't expect him to hug her, despite the awkward height difference, to which they didn't see Runa let a tear fall from her face and a wintery-like flower bloomed as he continued, "Now I don't want to hear or see yourself doubt yourself, Runa. It's hard to see you this way as to me, I'm trying to protect you at times, but you also protect me and the others equally, and no matter what: You're a part of all our lives."
Runa was touched by this but nearly feel down due to feeling the trembling of the coldness of the air from her exposed side to which, Hiccup caught her in slight worry on this now as once they got inside, Hiccup stood in place awkwardly as Rin and Koneko escorted a cold and growing tired Runa to her room.
Before he was about to leave he glanced and soon sighed at noticing Ophis, calling him quietly to only let him hear her from showing up in the hall's entrance of her Hatchling's mansion.
"Yes?" Hiccup answered her unsurely to which Ophis began going with him outside to possibly escort him home and talk, to which she began to do, "My Hatchling does see you as part of her kin and pack, Haddock… But she is going to be going into her cycle soon, possibly in a few mortal days or so, to which I will need you and the other mortals, unfortunately placed aid in that matter."
Hiccup stopped mid-step with being surprised by this as he responded by catching up with Ophis as she went inside his house without much care, and him closing the door behind him, "I thought that wasn't until a few months or so from what you were told, My Lady?"
Ophis was silent for a few moments, before telling him calmly yet with a soft but half-firm tone with hinting annoyance in it as she sat down in his father's chair, "It was… Due to things, and from her changed body, she is going to experience it fully and early. Most is because of her past I informed you and the others about, and the other is due to her being forced by two males I had no luck at finding… Personally, claiming my revenge."
Hiccup was frozen in place with him recalling those two eggs, and saw her nod once firmly in glistening eyes holding rage as she answered smoothly and calmly in a voice, to which he held back a shiver from, "Indeed… Being used that way more than once, has caused her to not have the temporary version, but the forever version of her pained heats. They were supposed to last for at least a few cycles, but now… She must be watched as she will be truly vulnerable to forces outside of your knowledge, if they get wind of this, she could be taken advantage of or made into a weapon to easily wipe out your simple isle… Despite it being under my protection."
"I didn't think Ru-Ru was that strong," Hiccup stated once again in stunned shock to which Ophis understood with her calmly looking at the teen male before her then, "She herself is not aware of her full gifts and prowess of power, as she holds not only Deathwing, but the blood of myself and others flowing within her veins. It is that to where her true strength lies to her blood, her heart, her mind, and her entire being of body… She is the Golden Dragon for this reason, as her entire being can be used as mentioned… A weapon… A power beyond reckoning of hope or destruction of the worlds unseen, and foes. Combined with the original maker of the Dragon Soul Item I looked into flowing within her being, and the entity herself… She could be used for either good or tainted purposes."
Hiccup lightly gulped to himself at this before blinking as he had slightly warmed peach and strawberry flavored mixed tea with hints of honey in a mug within his hands by the Nothing Drake, as she now got up from the chair and began to head out, before she paused and made him think on her next set of words, the door partially opened, "She will need you, no matter what as she herself is like you: A child in terms, despite her mind and appearance… I know I will not be there to aid her at times of dire need or anything, but that doesn't mean you and those she trusts cannot aid her in her own hidden desires and needs as well, to which… Love by either family or as a lover is part of that as she never truly got it except friendship from those she knew, and only a fractured taste before her arrival."
The next day, December 22nd of 811 (2014 true year), within the central part of Berk's Village, in the early morning as the sun rises:
Runa sighed to herself as she was with Serena and everyone she knew from Rias and Issei, their Peerage, and her soulmates, were busy and told her it was due to things back in her true time, and hinting of surprises to which she would be shown the next day or so, much to her hidden ire at that as this was one of the few rare times she was not being told of things, and shook her head away from the doubts plaguing her mind from that, and ignoring the dark voice once again with being thankful of Deathwing soothing her for a few moments.
Runa also saw how sad yet from the forced happiness the other Hooligan Clan Members forced upon themselves, with her giving a few ideas for Astrid to try out to which one was eggnog… But due to how cold the winter nights are getting, the trade ships have yet to arrive with fresh produce and above all, the rumored chickens Stoick asked for to produce eggs for his clan for consumption.
She did see nearby her and her daughter, three random children did make a Snow Gronckle of sorts with a sad look to their faces, before seeing Astrid confused them as she had a large pitcher and two mugs on a iron platter, declaring to them gleefully or trying to for their sakes, "Yaknog! Get your Yaknog! Come on! Get a frothy delicious cup of cheer!"
Runa headed over to them as Astrid came up to Snotlout, Ruffnut and Tuffnut while staring at them, and looking bothered by the smell the liquid gave off, "Hey, you guys! Try this tasty new beverage I made for the holidays."
Though it was proven that Runa did wrinkled her nose a bit alongside her daughter as Tuffnut admitted to it, "Ugh! What's that smell? Is that you?" He shoves Ruffnut to mistake the smell on her, before Astrid shows them, "It's Yaknog!" Though Tuffnut coughed from getting a full whiff and looked disgusted, "Ugh! If I drink that I'm gonna yak nog all over the place!" Ruffnut sniffs at the yaknog, disgusted, and could agree with her twin.
Unsettled a bit, she told them firmly, "Maybe you'd rather taste a punch in the face?" Before Runa could say anything as it looked like Astrid was about to ask her or Serena if they wanted to try it, Snotlout came over to take a mug with him stating to try and get into Astrid's goodbooks, "Astrid, it sounds delightful. I'd love a mug." He took a large swig, but was soon forced to swallow it because by his face, it tasted really bad, "You could really taste the yak!"
"Mmm, yum! What is that?" Fishlegs exclaimed from smelling the yaknog, and accidentally made Runa wince with her child giggling as the twins were placed into a large snowpile with their butts and legs in the air.
"Oh! You wanna try some? It's my new traditional drink." Astrid hopes to Fishlegs, as Snotlout stands behind Astrid with him shaking his head with a look of warning on his face, and Fishlegs takes the hint that it's not for human consumption. "Oh... You know... Ehm... I have... suddenly inexplicably changed my mind." Fishlegs tells her to dash the hope she was having of anyone else besides Snotlout to try it.
"Hey Big Sis, I think I'll try it," Runa said with all four other viking teens gazing at the dragon girl in horror once the twins came back over, for a few moments, before blinking at her summoning a mug of her own to try it that was made out of pure jade, and paused as she gazed at them with a raised ridged brow, "What?"
"Nothing, nothing, go ahead." Fishlegs states to which Runa chugged the whole thing down with her having a few lip smacks to judge the taste, and nearly made the four teens fall onto themselves and with Serena giving a cute head-tilt at her mama, but her making Astrid think on this, "It needs more sugar as Snotlout is right, it's more yak, then nog… Even though I never had yak at all as meat."
Astrid sighed and nodded before stating to them, with the four Viking teens thinking it was brave of Runa to drink from Astrid's supposed drink, "Well, you three don't know what you're missing. I bet Hiccup will love this." At that, she ran off to where they knew the teen male mentioned, was currently at the smith shop from seeing some smoke working at the place to know it was being used.
It was then Ruffnut noticed Snotlout's discomfort, "Are you crying?" She asked him before he held his mouth, and then puked his breakfast and the yaknog into a random snowpile to gross them out before they turned in wariness as Runa unexpectedly hiccuped, and from a minor burst of her magic, they dodged or moved as an actual anvil nearly slammed on top of Tuffnut's previous spot he was standing at.
"Are you ok, Runa?" Fishlegs warily asked her yet before she could reply, she hiccuped again with them soon holding some laughs as Snoutlout's hair was dyed pink for a few moments before she hiccuped again and it was back to normal.
Runa hiccuped a few times as they saw the nearby Snow Gronckle come to life and takes off quickly into the sky, much to the three children's delight and Serena's, then the twins were grossed out by smooching smoked eels appearing around the twin's necks and also trying to kiss them to which they tossed them and the living yet smoking-smelled eels took off hastily from the land into the waters, and once they saw her hiccuped again… They were soon dodging unexpected lightning bolts that were rainbowish from the heavens itself, and with Serena simply going in circles out of glee and fun until Runa hiccuped again.
They quickly caught her as she fell onto herself with her looking ready to go at it again, before they covered her mouth with sweat dropping to themselves, as they equally decided to seek out the Elder and Callie for this unexpected issue, and with little Serena following as ordered by Fishlegs.
Meanwhile at Gobber's Smith Shop, Astrid just arrived with her asking for her boyfriend's name, and him responding as he got some type of tool for gripping things, "Yeah, I'm over here, Astrid. Coming!"
"Here. Happy holidays, from me to you." Astrid tells him from handing over a mug filled with her creation, but with added sugar like Runa suggested and more spice as he made her have a smile on her face by his mocking yet playful jousted response, "Thank you, Milady!"
He sat the tool down with Astrid noticing the setup on his workbench and asked him curiously and adjusting her hold on the platter, "What are you up to?"
"Okay, you're gonna think I'm crazy, but I just couldn't stop thinking about what Tuffnut said last night. Toothless can't come and go like the other dragons, and that's just not fair. I was up all night and I think I found a way to fix that." Hiccup tells her after showing the modified tail-fin for his dragon, and picks up the mug he placed down, and takes a sip of the yaknog. Realizing how disgusting it tastes, he's unable to swallow.
"No way! You built him a new tail? So he's gonna be able to fly without you!" Astid tells him at finally understanding things with Hiccup only nodding his head and humming to her in agreement, "Wow, what a great gift!" Here, Hiccup hummed in agreement before looking down, "What if he never comes back… What am I saying? Of course he will!" Hiccup agreed with her with the urge to throw up about to come the longer he tasted the yaknog, "Well, I'm going to spread some more holiday cheer! You're amazing!" Once Astrid gets far enough away to not notice, Hiccup spits the yaknog onto the floor.
"Bleh! That needed more salt to balance that sugar…" Hiccup tells himself and shivered in place, and takes off back to his house to eventually see Toothless banging on his home's roof again, and shouts out to get the male Night Fury's attention, "Toothless! Come on down, bud! I got something for ya!"
The Night Fury did as Toothless was now sniffing the contraption, "What do you think of that? Yeah!" Toothless playfully turns away from Hiccup. "Would you just settle down! Toothless! Come on, bud! Let me get that on you! Yeah! You are going to love this. Okay." Hiccup got the new tailfin on his dragon, to which Toothless started to freak out and tried to get the new tail off.
"Nonono... To-Toothless! Stop! Please, wait! Toothless, please!" Hiccup begged to his dragon before suddenly, Toothless saw the tailfin expand on its own and calmed down. "Ah... Here you go. See? Got it?" Toothless first looks to Hiccup, then to the tail-fin, then back to Hiccup. "Toothless... Whoa!" Without warning, Toothless shoots into the sky, flying away from Berk and his best friend.
Hiccup soon began to feel mixed emotions on this as he didn't expect Toothless to take off as he did, and sighed to himself.
Once he got inside with knowing his father was busy, he stilled as it wasn't Loki this time, but a cloaked female by the looks who turned to also look to him as if she was waiting for him all this time, and wordlessly motioned to a spare seat that was placed in front of his father's chair and out of reluctance, sat down with seeing she did a simple wave of her hand and the door was locked.
It was tense silence for a few moments until the female decided to lower her hood to reveal it was Eris herself, not known to him as she inwardly hid a smirk at him tinting as despite whom she was, she was beautiful by all means, "I had hoped I arrived in time to make sure the Chosen Child receives my offerings, alongside yourself, Haddock, as a particular trickster god told me of her existence." Which was a partial truth, as she knew but went ahead and got approval by said Norse God himself to do what must be done.
Hiccup tensed up at this as if losing Toothless wasn't worse, this was much more as he said hesitantly to see he amused her by his words, "What are you dropping off?"
"You do not need to fear me, unless I want you too, from my own power being… Chaotic at best in nature," Eris tells him to make him wary by those words before blinking as she conjured a wrapped rather large box with a golden apple-like theme as wrapping paper, and placed that down before getting a smaller one and tossed it at him as it was roundish a bit like a sphere or something, "Open that now, Haddock, as it's for your one stone given to you a while back."
Hiccup tensed at that, but opened it anyways to be perplexed to see it was a bronze-like set of rings that could overlap the stone in perfect synchronization, and also saw to perplex him more was a keychain of sorts, and stilled as he sharply looked at her with more emotions than ever as her eyes were slightly soft of sorts, "Your mother would have wanted you to have that keychain, as in time, you will find out what it will mean as you may not be able to wield it, but one of your blood will… To which I also have something for you, and must confront after the holidays are up, with your old man." Here she flipped her wrist to see a golden envelope appeared in her hands, and gave it to the teen male to be more confused before stilling as it was addressed to him and him only, "It has a few letters from your mother when you were a wee child, and another from a source who just learned of you."
Here she stood up and stretched for a moment before getting ready to snap her fingers, yet paused as he asked her then softly, with her already knowing by the chaotic move from his dragon taking off of what he must be feeling, "You just stopped on by to drop off gifts?"
"Mostly, but I do have a fair warning to you, Haddock… There are several enemies that sensed the Chosen One to when she awakened her true self's body, which I cannot reveal but sad to state, learned of her from sensing her power she showed upon her transformation as to who she is, via her jailed entity doing so out of both spite and curing her of her illness she was secretly under that was not of the poison of the shrooms, but of cancer she did not know or was told to her very heart that was close to the point, she would have died from it in a few years after seventeen."
Hiccup was confused by the word, cancer, but paled for a few moments at understanding about death from something, and sighed out 'Thanks' to which she nodded, and gave him some advice to make him think, "If the holiday comes, perhaps give your non-blooded sister something she would cherish, and to the one you fancy, something different yet similar too, from your heart." She then left with laughter in her wake as the door became unlocked.
December 24th of 811 (2014 true year), within Hiccups house in the early morning:
Runa groaned as she woke up with a wince to her back and neck, and glanced within the room as she felt worried for Hiccup and without much of a choice, slept on the floor a bit further away from his bed.
She guessed what Toothless has done, but knew he could have waited for her to translate to her Big Brother as to the possibility as to why he took off with his new tailfin, but it was also about her own nightmares as well, as it has been two days since all the dragons were gone, alongside Toothless.
Though, the dragon girl herself did wonder about the large box that was wrapped in golden apple and gold colored wrapping paper, as a design, but kept her mouth shut due to Hiccup's depressed moods during the days as well, which even Astrid wasn't able to get him out of the depression.
Her Mater, Ophis, hardly understood her needing to comfort Hiccup, but her girls agreed and let Esdeath go to Runa's true time to find things out from concerns of her family and friends in that period, by which her girls were watching over Serena within the mansion.
In truth as well, Rias and Issei chose to remain in the mansion with Runa being suspicious, a bit of guessing, they were setting things up within her own home for the party further with more ideas added, and knew Doby would be delighted at that aspect alongside Winky.
The reason she woke up though was that this nightmare was different as it wasn't just her she was dreaming, but of someone else she has yet to meet or even know of, but feels like things will be interesting as time went.
Runa felt the girl was familiar, but not, and saw her ending up as sparkled light while her brotherly figure watched as she faded away from not only defeating her, but of the entity that tried to possess her at the time too.
The dragon girl felt as if whatever she dreamed of has yet to occur, however, she felt truly close to the girl too as if she would cherish her by any means, even if they had a fight… But she wasn't sure what feelings she had of the unknown girl as well, and she turned from thinking of the girl a few times.
Runa soon shook off her thoughts of her issues and dreams as she saw that Hiccup was actually awake with his right arm under his head, and his hand on his stomach area to which he blinked and sighed out with a small smile, "Morning Rue… I thought you would be sleeping a bit more?" Seeing her face made him understand as her eyes misted some faint trails of smoke a few times, as that was whenever she had… "Nightmares again?"
Runa sighed with her rubbing the back of her neck gently a few times as she used Hiccup's bed frame to half-amuse him to get up, before she responded by doing some light stretches as with Esdeath gone, she was told to relax, "Ya… But it was unusual and yet, somewhat similar as it did start like my normal nightmares, before it switched into something different."
Hiccup raised an intrigued eyebrow at this, yet before he could say anything, when suddenly there is a rhythmic banging on the roof.
Hiccup excitedly runs outside with Runa rushing to try and keep up, and hitting her head a few times as she stopped where he knew he was running to, and before she could call him out to stop, "Toothless! I knew you'd come back... Urgh!" Hiccup slips on the ice, then sees Stoick repairing the roof before giving a pointed look to Runa as she softly giggled at him slipping on the ice.
"Morning son!" Stoick told Hiccup, ignoring the Viking teen lying still on the ground from his back before he carefully got up, "Oh, hey Dad…" "Glad you're up! I was looking for your helmet." This stilled Hiccup as Runa knew like he did, of losing it into the sea a few days ago before the dragons migrated. "My- My helmet?" Stoick wasn't bothered as he began to climb down the ladder with reminding his son joyfully, with Runa guessing despite the situations, it is their holiday after all, "Odin needs a place to put your goodies."
"Yeah, right... I- I'll get on that. Great…" Hiccup began with Stoick pausing mid-step on the last footing of the ladder before he sighed with knowing, and came over to his son, "Hold on! Hold on. Alright... Come on. What's on your mind? Out with it."
"Oh, it's been two days, Dad. I just thought Toothless would be back by now." Hiccup tells him what has been plaguing his made to make the Leader of Berk understand as he wordlessly acknowledged Runa coming up behind her Big Brother, and did gentle and soothing circles around his middle back to try and relieve him of his stress at times, like he does to her, "I'm sure he is with the other dragons." Stoick tells him in an idealistic suggestion to which he understood his son then by his next comment with a sigh, "Yeah? I wish I could be that sure."
"Ah, listen... I know what it's like to miss someone you love this time of year. But what do we do, when they can't be here for the holiday?" Stoick began with him giving his son a gentle grip on his left shoulder before he finished his wise words, "We celebrate them! And I imagine that is exactly what Toothless would want you to do. Right?"
"You're right." Hiccup said before he was nearly toppled over by his father's light-tap slapping with him still being in a joyous mood, "Good! Then go get that helmet! We've had enough disappointment around here."
Once his father was out of earshot with Hiccup rolling his left shoulder a bit, he saw Runa's look to which he sighed as she decided to go with him as she wanted to show Hiccup a interesting technique she managed to learn at last from one of the books she was given by her mater as in another place, a blonde girl sneezed as if someone was talking about her before shrugging and sparred with her teammates and brother in a pocket dimension and within vast land in Japan, within Runa's true time.
They went to the mansion first with Runa giving Doby and Winky some orders as she wanted to help Hiccup today, to touch the male Viking yet was irked as while he was carrying a oar, she was carrying at least thirty or so with ease in a decent holding grip in both her arms, and soon bumps into Fishlegs, who is carrying a large basket of fish.
"Oh, Fishlegs, you hungry? There's enough fish there to feed a dragon!" Hiccup tells the heavy set male viking to which he laughed warily while still holding the fish, and tells him to make both Hiccup and Runa suspicious about, "Hahaha... Oh, a dragon? That's…" Fishlegs runs off mid-sentence and into a barn carrying the fish basket. Hiccup suspiciously follows and looks inside when Fishlegs leaves yet before he could take a look, he gaped with a look of later at her or should he say, them, as there were two Runa's, instead of one.
Without warning after he opened the doors, Meatlug breaks 'his' chain and carries both Runa and Hiccup away, leaving 'Runa' behind, "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! MEATLUG?!"
Both him and Runa soon zoomed past a bewildered Astrid as she was her true self today, and declared to them without seeing 'Runa' behind her, "Hiccup? Rue?! Where are you both going?!" Runa held on tight as she forgot to expand her wings and winces from the wind chilling the membrane a bit, as she held onto Meatlug's tail as Hiccup could only shout loudly to make Astrid shake her head in disbelief, "I HAVE NO IDEA!"
"Meatlug? What about presents? Hey!" Fishlegs shouted from the barn with Astrid seeing this with suspicious eyes, before doing a double take and glanced at 'Runa' and where Runa took off with Hiccup before holding the bridge of her nose with the sheepish look on 'Runa's' face, as the duo were with the others within the same barn Fishlegs stated to them in disbelief, "I can't believe him."
"You can't believe Him?! You kidnapped your Dragon!" Astrid told Fishlegs off loudly as the twins, Tuffnut and Ruffnut noticed something in Meatlug's nest with Fishlegs responding back to Astrid, "Well, that makes it sound so mean."
'Runa' noticed as well when she came over with a smug look on her face, as Tuffnut was shocked by trying to get the attention of those not aware, "Hey guys?" Astrid though didn't pay attention to the twin as she mainly focused on Fishlegs, "He flew away the second he was unleashed!" Fishlegs disagreed as the twin uncovered more of the nest, "I'm 72% sure he wanted to stay-" Tuffnut was irritated as she declared loudly to get their attention this time, "Guys!"
The others finally see what's in the nest with Fishlegs stating in awe, "Whoa... Meatlug barfed up a pile of rocks." Ruffnot disagrees as she told Fishlegs in an obvious way to make him be stumped and think to himself, "You're such an idiot! Those aren't rocks, your dragon laid eggs!"
"Hey, wait! I bet that's why the dragons left: To lay their eggs!" Astrid tells them all while holding one of the blue colored Gronckle eggs with bumpy ridges on them, and this confused Fishlegs as he stated clearly to them, "But, boy dragons don't lay eggs." But Ruffnut pointed out the obvious to the heavy set teen once again with 'Runa' simply watching and hiding her laughter at finding this funny, "Yeah, your boy dragon is a girl dragon." It seemed that Fishlegs understood while being surprised, "Okay, that actually explains a few things."
"Hey! Everyone's missing their dragons, right?" Astrid states with an idea forming quickly into her head, and with Snotlout stating mainly to himself, "Oh, here it comes," with them watching as Astrid grabbed some red ribbon and began to wrap it around the egg she was carrying, "I've got an idea! It'll be another new Snoggletog tradition!"
Eventually, they were all carrying eggs from Meatlug's nest with red ribbons tied onto each one with Astrid stating in glee, "Oh, this is gonna be so good!" They hide them all in everyone's houses except the ones that would surely shatter the eggs as well, before turning to 'Runa' with Astrid recalling things, and asked to make the others blink as they looked at the dragon girl in being perplexed, "So how are you here, instead of with Hiccup?"
"Well, the Boss Lady managed to perfect a secret technique and made me in case things turned sour, which it did for her and Big Brother," 'Runa' began to try and explain with them being perplexed as she managed to keep the book from the Real Runa, and gestured to a particular page with them being able to read it from the book being able to let anyone understand the writing, as Fishlegs exclaimed in pure excitement as well, and the others being stunned, "You made a clone of yourself?! A perfect clone?"
"Of sorts," 'Runa' stated to them, rubbing her head and with them simply nodding back to the clone of their friend, as she explained things.
The book the clone had was made in designs of one particular scroll that has been lost to the ages from Japan, from someone managing to copy and modify various lost or unusual techniques it has within the current book's pages, and told them she can be solid as to how long she wants to be, but once the Real Runa dismisses her, she gains all the memories the clone had.
Though, there was a way to use said clone to maybe make more family or anything else, but the Real Runa wasn't that far in yet from the book, and there are sometimes side effects of particular clones of sorts, which Runa did skip that warning of sorts from the book itself to try out the technique, if they were used in unusual means or situations.
"Gotta admit, that does sound cool," Tuffnut told them with 'Runa' smiling at them at least getting the gist of it, before turning to Astrid as she declared to herself, "I hope Hiccup will be happy we did this."
Meanwhile with Hiccup up front and Runa in the back on Meatlug, they were riding over the ocean by passing pillars of rock and stone with the surroundings being fogged up.
"Whoa! Meatlug, where are you taking us?" Hiccup questioned the dragon which was ignored by Runa, giving him a shrug, but they almost hit a dragon figurehead ship, "AHH!" They both said as the male teen managed to force Meatlug into the clouds and avoid any more obstacles.
They arrive at an island with hot springs, and thousands of nesting dragons. Hiccup sees all the baby dragons with Runa in awe of this as she knew Toothless hid some words again from her, but she didn't expect this, and neither did Hiccup, "You guys come here to have babies." Runa though facepalmed at forgetting she wanted to tell her friends that, but was a bit busy dealing with her nightmares by herself, mainly, and her body being cold as was and shivering at times without warning, and her clumsiness at times.
Runa though was soon disgusted as she saw a nadder regurgitate some chewed fish for her babies before noticing and following Hiccup, he watches a Gronckle nudge her eggs into a spring. The eggs hatch under the water as the little baby dragons crawl out of the spring to their mother.
Runa had a bad feeling though when she saw Hiccup noticed one of the Gronckle's eggs didn't go into the water, "Aww. Wow! Hey, look over here, you missed one-" The egg explodes, literally, as Hiccup went 'Whoa' as a baby Gronckle comes out of the egg and with Runa managing to catch him as he stated to her, "Man, it's a good thing those don't hatch on Berk!"
Meanwhile back on Berk, hours later as night was coming and 'Runa' has yet to hear from the house elves to know they were still touching up for the party tomorrow, they finished planting the Gronckle eggs into each house with them meeting up back together with seeing Fishlegs being excited as Astrid told them, "Wasn't this a great idea?"
"Uh-huh! Everyone's gonna be so surprised!" Fishleggs tells them before an egg explodes and the baby comes flying out of a house, hitting Fishlegs in the head, and Snotlout grinning at this, stated to them all loudly, "SURPRISE!"
Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Snotlout soon coo at the baby Gronckle that is casually sitting on Fishlegs stomach, when Astrid realizes something, and makes 'Runa' agree with her as she stated mainly to herself, "The eggs... Explode?" Houses all around them soon start to explode, as she declared to get them to panic, "THE EGGS EXPLODE!"
A man runs screaming from his home as Astrid began to apologize as more houses continue to explode everywhere as the "Tree" was also set on fire, and the twins shouted in glee at this as Snotlout tells Astrid then, to make her sigh and 'Runa' gently patting her shoulders, "This is your best idea yet!" But it was sarcastic with hinted amusement.
Stoick soon comes and sees the "Tree" on fire, "What in Thor's name is going on?!" 'Runa' simply gestured to her Big Sister as she told Stoick, "The eggs explode." As soon as she said that, the final house over Astrid's shoulder explodes, and Astrid smiles nervously at his stern look.
Meanwhile with the Real Runa and Hiccup, they began to look all over the area as the sun was setting, for one particular dragon, "Toothless! Toothless? Ah, Toothless, where are you?"
Runa patted her brother's back with her right hand to get to know she also felt the same for him and for herself, before they managed to walk a bit more to see two of the few Rider's Dragons and with Runa being in awe once again at seeing they had babies, "Hookfang! Stormfly! Oh, you have no idea how happy I am to see you guys!" He hugged the two while seeing Runa asking in Parseltongue to Hookfang over something. Hiccup was soon greeted by baby Nadders though, three of them.
"And you have... Babies? Oh, look at you guys! All happy, together. Who knew you were leaving to celebrate your own sort of... Holiday. I should get back to my holiday. So what do you say there, Hookfang? Think, you could give me a ride back home?" Hiccup states to himself at realizing things, and with Hookfang nodding once and letting Hiccup get up onto his neck and hanging onto his horns.
"We'll see you all back on Berk when you're good and ready, okay, gang?" Hiccup shouted loudly as before Runa could translate a bit better, Hookfang starts to take Hiccup home, but everyone follows.
"Big Brother, this is a problem!" Runa stated as he agreed with him stating in ire, "Oh... No, no, no, no, no... I think I just started the return migration."
Runa extended her wings and began to wince in slight pain from them being cold, but began to fly steadily nearby Hiccup with them seeing the baby dragons eager to follow, "Well, if you insist!" Hiccup shouts at the babies as they try to follow but don't have enough strength against the wind.
"Come on! Come on!" He stated in assurance before sighing as the babies landed back on the island, and with Runa biting her lip gently at this in worry to which a few dragons sensed this and made her tint with them purring at her in understanding, "Ah, boy, this is never gonna work…" It was then he got a sudden idea with gently patting Hookfang and with Runa translating in Parseltongue to the other dragons to stay or aid Hiccup with his idea, with a few did, "Oh, hold on, I've got just the thing."
Meanwhile, back on Berk as night has just come, Stoick began to tell Gobber in disappointment and more, ignoring the baby Gronckles resting in a small pile near some empty barrels, "Ah, Gobber, this is a disaster."
"Ah, it's not so bad." Gobber tells him as he gave his friend a look, "Oh, not that bad? The village is destroyed. The dragons have gone and left us. Let's face it, this holiday is complete- What are these people looking at?" The Vikings of the Hooligan Clan see shimmering creatures high in the sky.
"What is that?" Stoick asked himself as everyone, even 'Runa' who smirked at this, saw the Dragon Figurehead ship being carried by various dragons, and Hiccup and the Real Runa being with him, "It's Hiccup and Runa!" And Astrid agreed with relief, "And our dragons" The Vikings cheer as the ship lands and to stun them before being in awed silence with coos, baby dragons spill out.
Snotlout shouted with Fishlegs declaring his dragon's name as she charged into him and began to make him laugh as she was licking his face, and Astrid hugged Stormfly with her statign her name before noticing her babies, "You're back! Oh! And there's babies!"
"Hahaha! Well done, son!" Stoick tells Hiccup as he gives his son a big bear hug, and in turn, Hiccup was gasping for breath before he breathed out, "Thanks, Dad!" Stoick let him go as he declared to everyone as they cheered after and headed to it, "Everyone! Grab your dragons! To the Great Hall! We finally have something to celebrate!"
Hiccup finally saw, like they did of the Real Runa looking at the Clone Runa who just chuckled to herself, and asked her warily, "I missed things, didn't I?"
The clone shook her head before grinning at her to which The Riders thought was unnatural for Runa as she does smile, but doesn't have that type of crazy yet joyous grin on her face at times, "Naw, Boss Lady. Though I wouldn't mind going back into ya head, as it's getting lonely out here."
Runa nodded before they caught her as the clone dispersed into smoke and went right into her nose within moments as she gave them wary looks as they helped her up, blinked, and turned to Astrid who immediately tinted and making everyone chuckle by her words, "Why did you think it was a good idea to have explodable eggs in houses, Big Sis?"
Hiccup though pondered what the clone meant by 'Getting lonely' but placed it to the back of his and their minds as they headed to the Great Hall with Runa gently petting Stormfly's rare colored version of Nadder babies, out of the three she laid: A fully ashen-purple colored one with cute amber eyes and with three silvery stripes on the end of her tail.
Once inside the Great Hall with Runa by the fire to warm up, and soon talking with her mother and both Rias and Issei, alongside everyone having a blast with not only with each other, but with the babies too, Hiccup sighed to himself.
Hiccup walks though the Great Hall, seeing everyone having a great time with their dragons... Well, almost everyone but hid being jump scared by sheer accident as Astrid stopped him, and her turning him around to face him as she sincerely began to speak to him in concern and something else, "Hiccup, I know this must be really hard for you seeing everyone with their dragons. But you really did a wonderful thing. Thank you." She gently kisses Hiccup on the lips before hugging him.
"Astrid, where did Toothless go?" Hiccup asked her while she was still hugging him, "I don't know-" she blinked with seeing Toothless creeping into the Great Hall, and got a sudden idea once again and knew it was going to be a good one, as she soon only held Hiccup's shoulders, "Wow, man, I wouldn't wanna be you right now! I mean you brought back everyone's dragon except yours!"
Hiccup was suspicious as to how she was acting as unseen by anyone, Runa saw this and gestured to her pack siblings, and her mother alongside the couple were amused as it seems someone had it in their right mind to let Serena ride Toothless as well.
"Yeah, you know, this is not helping, at all." He tells her only for Astrid to turn Hiccup around to see Toothless running excitedly towards him. "Toothless! Hey, bud!" He soon gives Toothless a bear hug with the dragon allowing Serena to gently get down while doing so, and saw her go straight for her mother to which she nodded at Toothless in thanks.
"Stoick!" Gobber stated to get the Leader of Berk's attention as he gestured to Hiccup and Toothless as he was still hugging him for a few moments, before pulling back and made Toothless blink by his words, out of worry and concern for him, "Bad dragon! Very bad dragon! You scared me to death. Don't ever stay away that long again, and what is in your mouth?" It was then Toothless puts Hiccup's now spit-covered helmet back on his head, as The Riders looked at that in a groan of disgust.
"Yeah, you found my helmet. What- Hey! You found my helmet! That's where you've been? Buddy, thank you! You are amazing!" He hugged his best friend and dragon once again with Toothless closing his eyes and leaning his head on Hiccup's back a bit as Astrid shouted to which everyone cheered at her in agreement, "Happy Snoggletog!"
It was then later on into the night as Runa was tucking her child in her bad with the aid of Winky, to which the house elf herself nodded in wordless understanding to watch over her as she soon left the room, and sighed with rubbing her head uncertainty to herself before shaking her head, and went to the large lounge area where they moved the tree and presents and placing a few more down for Rias and Issei, alongside their Peerage members before she stilled as her mansion wards alerted her to an intruder, and knew it wasn't Hiccup or the others as they were in their own homes, sleeping, and with Astrid already asleep as well within her room within the mansion.
She turned to see in a spare chair, was a cloaked individual to which Runa easily can tell she was a female, and looked at her with pride in the female's eyes before eradicating her cloak and revealed to be a gorgeous female with something unnatural about her, which Runa noticed.
She has long butt-length blonde hair tied in a ponytail and two round-curled horns on both sides of her head. She wears a metal tiara on her head and a white corset with a calf-length see-through blue loin-cloth skirt on her torso, despite having a large C to boarding D-Cup chest size. She has an ornate metal brooch at the base of her throat, puffed sleeves joined at the neck with ornate metal cuffs on her arms, a white glove on her right arm and a black gauntlet on her left arm. She also wears an elaborate and ornate white-fur-collar six-pointed blue skirt with an x-strapped belt and two white wings in the front. She has ornate metal thigh-high high-heeled boots. Her weapon, which she summoned to stand on casually with instead of the walls or corners of the home, is a huge lance with an ornate skull-headed serpent dragon design on top, and the pointed horns are the weapon's two tines.
"So… You are the Golden Dragon Child of many things, alongside Ophis' offspring?" She stated in a way to make Runa lightly gulp to herself out of wariness without seeing the female frown to herself for, "Y-Yes Ma'am," she only told her to make the blonde woman pinch her nose with her free hand before asking her with a look, and making Runa blink at her in surprise, "Do you have a chair or something to sit down at, as you being taller than me is a bit nerve wracking."
Runa hesitated but made the blonde blink at seeing her summoning Doby and asking for a comfy chair to sit in as she was still trying to warm herself up, without seeing the suspicious eyes the woman had from scenting her issues with being inwardly stunned at smelling one particular girl within this home she broke into, to just simply talk and be done with things, and thought, as Runa sat down, This complicates things even further to the point, this is truly unexpected to know she was right.
"So what are you doing in my home, Miss?" The woman blinked from being talked to by Runa to try and start a conversation, not knowing Runa didn't sense that Sesshōmaru and Zilanette arrived with a tired Rin and decided to remain quiet by the Dog Demon himself a look at the female elf for.
Runa froze in place with Deathwing within her, mentally crying to himself why was she here too, by what the blonde began to speak about, "My arrival was foretold to me by a seer within my domain I rule over, and to be honest… I am rather startled at not only finding you here, but one other currently resting within the home you have. I am a woman, yes, but not an ordinary one as at one time… I was cursed into a male form by a slight revenge plot of my former friend, no… My Rival: Michael. I am known as Lucifer: The Fallen Demonic Archangel of Pride, and Ruler of my own domain within Hell, and you and the other… Are my unfortunate offspring with her being my main child, and you by soul-based reincarnations at one point."
There was only one thing that Runa knew from learning this and guessing by things as to who the other girl was, and Lucifer coming over to check on her as she fainted.
