GT: I'm going to let everyone know this in advance: not all anime episodes will be adapted to this story if I feel that there is not much to change about them. Like several of the world tour episodes. I should probably also probably go over something I should've addressed involving Chapter 7. The reason Chaud and Protoman lost is because of Vent. He has knowledge of how they fight and has spent more years battling than they have with far greater consequences if he lost in any of them. He's been battling a long war against Mavericks and Model W. Add in the power of the Biometals, especially Model X combined with Model Z, and he didn't really have a chance. But this also means to spur Chaud and Protoman on to become stronger to overcome the Blue Megaman.

"You know what stuns me?" Ashe asked, sharing Vent's PeT with her boyfriend.

"No. What is it?" Vent replied.

"Why are we standing in line when, oh I don't know…we could pre-order the dang game online?!" Ashe complained as Lan, Maylu, and Dex were standing in a long line heading towards Higsby's store.

"Because they haven't made digital pre-orders for consoles yet. That's next year," Vent reminded her, "Though…I'm still surprised Higsby also sells video games."

[Considering the prices for his BattleChips…I'm not surprised he has to branch out to other things] Zero huffed.

[Vent, Ashe, was this…?]

'Yeah, it was, X,' Vent replied, 'And cue Masa.'

"Hey, what's with this line? Is the Prime Minister here or something?" Masa asked as he biked over to the trio.

"Nope," Lan replied, shaking his head, "We're in line to get a preorder for a new video game."

"Oh! Masa! Glad to see you're here!" Ashe beamed "Was hoping to order a delivery later!"

"Roll…" Maylu groaned.

"Oh come on, Maylu. You've been wanting to try that new recipe for several days now," Ashe pointed out.

"A recipe involving fish?" Masa asked.

"Yep! I'm pretty sure you have the right type, too!" Ashe grinned.

Vent rolled his eyes before turning as Sharkman appeared in the PeT. Vent quickly muted the PeT and waved a hand, making a table appear with some tea.

"Neat trick," Sharkman noted as the two sat across from one another.

"It's easy enough to learn," Vent offered as he poured the tea for them both, "What's the situation?"

"Heads up; we've been dealing with a string of thefts in the area, each time the security levels have been increasing," Sharkman explained.

"Any agents on the job?"

"Sal and Woodman have been the ones in charge of this," Sharkman replied, taking a drink of his tea, "We got an EMail sent a few minutes ago from her. The next attack will be a Level 9 system…and there's only one place in town with that level."

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say the Ayano Family's mansion," Vent 'guessed.'

"Exactly," Sharkman replied with a nod, "Any chance ya can get access for Woodman?"

"If we're lucky, Ashe and I will be at the Ayano Family mansion tonight," Vent replied, "We'll send the link for Woodman to be deployed if we get in."

"Great," Sharkman nodded, "...So…what's happening out there?"

"Huh?" Vent blinked a few times.

[Masa is causing a scene] Phantom stated.

"Masa is causing a scene?" Vent repeated.

[He's arguing with Higsby] Phantom noted.

"Because of course he's arguing with the formerly mind-controlled ex-World Three member…" Vent groaned.

"Sometimes he goes a little too far in his cover…" Sharkman groaned, facepalming.

"And Lan is out of line," Vent shook his head.

[As are Dex and Maylu] Fafnir added.

"Son of a bitch," Vent sighed in exasperation before looking out the screen and chuckled, "Hey, Sharkman?"

"What?"

"Look at your NetOp," Vent snickered.

"Hm?" Sharkman looked and his large jaw dropped to the floor, seeing Masa completely flustered and poking his pointer fingers as Ms. Mari smiled at him, "Wh-What?! What is this?!"

"I think he has a crush on Ms. Mari," Vent noted.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Sharkman exclaimed in utter disbelief.

'Glad to see that his crush on Ms. Mari didn't change,' Vent thought in amusement, 'And now we have a good excuse for us to get that link for Woodman.'

[How so?] X asked.

'The game, Maxima's Warrior, is made by GABCOM,' Vent replied.

[Oh~!] the majority of the Biometals noted in realization.

"Better get back to your PeT, Sharkman. I'll make sure to get that link for Woodman for tonight," Vent replied, "I think I've got a good idea what this attacker plans on stealing tonight."

"Y-You do?"

"Maxima's Warrior," Vent replied, "With how many people want to play it, this game means a ton to them all and GABCOM especially. Think of the issues that could develop for GABCOM due to this situation and the chaos that could be brought by this theft."

"?!" Sharkman's eyes widened before his eyes sharpened, "Gotcha. I'll make sure Sal and Woodman are ready for it."

Vent nodded, shaking hands with his fellow NetNavi before the shark left, letting Vent unmute the PeT, "Guess we're in trouble, huh?"

"You said it, Vent," Lan sighed, "The line's reached the limits for pre-orders for the game and we didn't get into it because we got distracted."

"It's hard to not want to see a fight between an Otaku and a Fishmonger," Dex admitted.

"Was honestly hoping to see what Maxima's Warrior is like since it's a VR game," Vent admitted.

"You said it, Vent! NetNavis can even work with their NetOps in it!" Ashe agreed before sighing, "Sure it'd be VR, but I'd still get to do more with Maylu…"

"I was looking forward to it, too, Ashe," Maylu agreed before a familiar pink limo drove over.

"Hey~! What are you guys doing here?" Yai asked, poking her head out of the limo with Ciel.

"Yai? Ciel?" Lan pondered.

"We were planning to preorder Maxima's Warrior," Vent replied.

"But these three got distracted by Higsby and Masa getting all argumentative and then infatuated with their teacher," Ashe huffed.

"Oh like you didn't say 'Fifty Zenny on the fishmonger,'" Maylu grumbled, making Ashe sheepishly rub the back of her head.

"Oh-hoh~! So that's why you're here," Yai noted.

"That's the latest game getting a midnight release tonight, right?" Ciel asked.

"Yep! And my family's company, GABCOM, made it," Yai grinned before winking, "You guys want to come over to my place? If I ask Papa, I could get it real fast."

"R-Really? Yai, you don't have to do that…" Lan began.

"Hey, you're my friends! Of course I wanna do this!" Yai beamed.

"I gotta be honest, I forgot about that," Dex admitted.

"S-Seriously?" Yai asked in surprise.

Ciel giggled, "I guess that because they don't see you as the daughter of GABCOM's president, but as our friend named Yai."

"Aw guys…" Yai blushed as she saw the agreeing looks they were giving.

Ashe and Vent couldn't help the smiles on their faces. The friendships made by their NetOps had always been a true and honest one, no taking advantage and even forgetting things like the importance of the families they have. Even when Dex and Yai had moved to different countries entirely, they had still remained close friends.

'Even if things are different…I know they'll still be connected to each other,' Ashe thought, 'We just need to keep these days to make happy memories with one another.'

"You really believe that Megaman and Roll A will be there when you attack?" Wily asked.

"Of course. We're targeting the company of a friend of their NetOps," Zap replied on the monitor, "With focus aimed at Elecman and me with our 'shopping spree' in rising security levels, all eyes will be focused on GABCOM's network!"

"Meaning we can obtain either the ElecCode or WoodCode while all eyes are elsewhere," Wily noted, "Excellent planning, Count Zap!" he rubbed his chin in thought, "I'd rather wait for the ElecCode. There's an event coming up that will make the perfect opportunity to truly strike fear into these Network-loving sheep. While you have them focused on you, I will deploy two of our best to get the WoodCode."

"Of course!" Count Zap grinned, "Delete!"

=Remember your manners now, Lan= X reminded, the friends all at a long dining table in Yai's mansion.

'I am, I am…' Lan thought, swallowing a bite of his steak, "Honestly, a bit envious here. You get to eat like this daily, Yai?"

"Of course," Yai replied, sitting by the head of the table where an older man in a business suit was enjoying his own meal.

"So you're the kids who my little girl's been using the security system to help give you two not only workouts, but also helping vastly improve it!" Yai's father recognized as Lan and Maylu blushed.

"Indeed they are, Daddy," Yai confirmed.

He chuckled, "Honestly…this is the first time my daughter's ever brought friends over to dinner. She's a rather shy girl."

"That's quite the surprise," Maylu admitted.

"True, you wouldn't know that given her personality," he admitted with a small smile at his daughter.

"Ahh…Daddy~" Yai pouted.

"Ah, sorry, sorry," he apologized.

"I hope it was alright with helping to upgrade the security system, sir," Ciel noted.

"It's perfectly fine and truly a blessing," he assured, "When the normal testers for these systems checked it out, you all helped escalate it from a Level 8 up to 9!"

'Oh shit…' Vent and Ashe thought, freezing up in the PeTs.

"By the way, Yai said none of you were able to pre-order Maxima's Warrior. Is that right?"

"Yep! Gutsman and I spent a few days after school working on getting enough Zenny to get it even with the allowance we saved up," Dex replied.

"Virus Busting is pretty fun and a good way to get some extra Zenny," Lan nodded.

"In the end, we got distracted long enough that the line reached the limit before we could get in it," Maylu admitted.

"There's just something about a nerd and fishmonger getting into a spat that is just so darn distracting to witness," Ashe admitted.

"I see," he nodded, "Well…With all your help with the security and for being my daughter's friends…" he winked at them in a familiar manner they all knew from Yai, "We'll get that dealt with here then!"

"Really, Daddy?!" Yai gasped in glee.

"But of course!" he chuckled, patting her head, "Your friends have done something truly wonderful that I can never repay for in my opinion. Let's get them settled!" a maid approached with a covered platter, placing it on the table and uncovering it to reveal an elegant set of finely-made strawberry parfaits, "...After dessert, of course."

"Indeed!" Yai agreed.

'Well she had to get it from somewhere,' Ciel thought.

"Whoa~ It's like an electronic fortress here," Lan awed, looking at the myriad of computers and supercomputers set up.

"The original data of all our video games is stored here as well as inside of several USBs to make room for more games," Yai's father explained.

"The original game data?" Maylu repeated.

"Indeed. At midnight, Maxima's Warrior will be sent to all stores globally," he explained, "There, the data will be transferred to the sent data discs to be sold." he looked over at another computer, "But next year, we'll be changing things up with the next generation of consoles."

"How so?"

"The next generation will have digital stores that you can pre-order digital versions of games to store on your console," Yai explained, "So situations like this will be a thing of the past unless you want a physical copy…which you'll want for special extras that will be provided in physical merchandise."

"Nice tactics," Ashe complimented.

"So if the data was stolen or deleted here…" Lan grimaced.

"There's nothing to worry about. Our mansion is protected by a Level 9 security system," Yai's father explained, "As for the data itself? It's under an even stronger security system of Level 10."

"Any intruders will be caught on site both in the Network and here!" Yai declared with a grin.

Maylu, Dex, and Lan all shuddered, "We know, we know…"

"And with how strong the system is, no chance of an early playthrough," Ciel surmised.

"Indeed," Yai's father nodded.

"Huh?!" Yai gawked.

"Ah, it's fine," Lan assured.

"We're alright with being patient," Maylu assured, "It was already more than a blessing that your father allowed us to get a pre-order here."

"Mmm…Oh! Since the game comes out at midnight…Then why not stay here, guys?" Yai offered, "A big slumber party in the treehouse and we can play the game in there when it comes out!"

"Sounds fun, Yai," Vent noted.

"I'll be sure to send some maids to provide good catering for it," Yai's father offered, "And when midnight comes out, I'll have some bring your copies."

"You're the best, Daddy!" Yai cheered, hugging the man.

"Thank you, Mr. Ayano!" the kids thanked.

'This is perfect,' Ciel thought, 'Sal and Woodman will have extra cover from Vent, Ashe, Lan, and Maylu being here. When I get a moment, I'll send her the link to the network.'

Zap hummed as his small light bulb-covered hot air balloon casually soared through the night sky. He had a computer set up with Elecman inside of it, getting things all set up for himself. Attached to it was a small robotic firefly, ready for deployment. Zap looked over the side of his basket to look upon the Ayano Mansion. He grinned before looking at a watch on his wrist.

"10:27," Zap noted before looking to Elecman, "Want to do it now or wait until it's closer to midnight?"

"I'd say closer to midnight. Once it hits, the data won't be able to be sent out to anyone," Elecman replied, "Can't wait to take on the Level 9 defenses."

"Same here! …So, uh…"

"Yes, I'd be up for playing the swiped game. Just because no kids will get to play it doesn't mean that we can't."

"WHOO!" Zap cheered under his breath.

'What I wouldn't give for a coffee instead of a hot chocolate…' Ciel thought, taking a sip of the sweet warm beverage before glancing over at Lan, Yai, and Maylu as they talked…while Dex was passed out on the other sofa, "Should we all take a quick nap with an alarm?"

"I'll be glad to…"

"Vent, don't you dare subject them to your horn!" Lan quickly panicked.

"...Horn?" Yai and Ciel repeated.

"He plays Reverie to wake Lan up," Maylu explained, "Sometimes me, too, it's so loud…"

"Sorry, Maylu," Vent sheepishly apologized.

"At 11:50, we'll get the link that will connect the widescreen here to the Network where Maxima's Warrior is," Yai informed, "We'll be able to play at midnight exactly!"

"That's good to hear," Ciel noted, 'So at 11:50, I'll be able to link Sal and Woodman to the Network…'

"It's showtime," Zap grinned deviously as the clock reached a few minutes before midnight.

The firefly robot twitched before unplugging itself from the laptop. Its eyes flashed as Elecman began to pilot it, flying about and nimbly dodging the infrared lasers utilized by the security system before landing on a camera. He deployed the cable and had it plug into the camera, sending him into the Ayano Family's Network.

"Ahh! Ten seconds left!" Lan grinned in excitement.

'Here he comes…' Ashe thought.

'Another round against Elecman,' Vent narrowed his eyes as Yai, Maylu, and Lan started counting down.

'It's honestly adorable,' Ciel thought, a fond smile on her lips.

"3! 2! 1! 0~!" all three cheered as the time hit midnight…and the screen turned to static.

"...Huh?" Lan blinked a few times.

"What's going on?" Maylu pondered.

"Final Security System has activated!" a voice called out as several dozen NetNavis of similar build in green and browns materialized in the Network before Elecman, "Intruder! If you do not Jack Out immediately, we will be forced to use Deletion-level measures to force you to leave!"

Elecman sighed, shaking his head, "You're the ninth group that's told me that. I'VE HEARD IT TOO MUCH ALREADY!"

The parts on his back crackled to life with electricity before unleashing a massive blast at the security NetNavis, causing them to screech in agony until they were logged out. Elecman smirked as he cracked his knuckles.

"It's past midnight now, but the game hasn't appeared…" Maylu noted in concern.

"It's not like Daddy to break a promise," Yai noted in worry.

"Should we go into the Network and see if there's a connection issue?" Lan asked before the lights went out.

"Did one of the maids do this?" Ashe asked.

"No. I can't seem to get in contact with any of them," Glyde replied, "Good heavens! It might be that someone's entered the main computer system!"

"Not good," Vent scowled as the screen crackled before showing a smirking Count Zap on it.

"I am Count Zap of the World Three! We're goin' on a Rock n' Roll party all night here!" he declared with a cackle.

"I've cleared this entire security system! Now I'm going to be stealing the smiles from all the children globally!" Zap declared.

"Steal the…?" Mr. Ayano began to repeat, several maids working at consoles with haste.

"Sir! Based on the movements of the intruder in our systems, he means to steal Maxima's Warrior!" one maid called.

"That's right~! Maxima's Warrior shall never be released!" Zap declared.

"Ah~ How delightful it will be to see the chaos that comes from this!" Zap cheered.

"You jerk! So many have been waiting for this game!" Lan snapped, pointing a finger at the screen, "You're not getting away with this while we're here!"

Zap chuckled, "Ah! Lan Hikari and Maylu Sakurai! I just knew you'd be here! Well, let's see if you can stop us this time!" the sceen zoomed out to show him with his guitar that he began to play, "WHOO! IT'S SHOWTIME~!"

"Ugh…so noisy…" Dex groaned as he began to wake up…before the lamp by him let out a few sparks of electricity that caught his shorts on fire, "?! EEEYOW!"

"Ah! Fire!" Ciel panicked as she looked around, "Uh…uh…Yai, where's the extinguishers?!"

"Over there!" Yai pointed out, quickly grabbing one to shoot at Dex.

"Dex, are you okay?" Ciel asked as she moved over…before she jumped as a glass screen slammed down between them and Lan and Maylu, "?! Yai…"

"Ah! One of the defense systems went off!" Yai gawked, "It's meant to protect us if an armed intruder gets into the treehouse, but we're on the wrong side of it!"

"Not good," Ciel frowned, "Lan, Maylu, use the television! Since we were meant to play the game on it, it should be linked to the main computer still!"

"Understood!" Maylu replied.

"We'll save the game!" Lan declared.

"Jack In! Vent/Ashe! Power Up!" the two declared.

"(DOUBLE) MEGAMERGE!"

"The last line of defense," Elecman noted, looking upon the tower over a ring, "It's no use against me! Lightning…"

"WOODTOWER!"

"?!" Elecman jumped back as a barrage of thick logs sharped into spikes erupted in a path towards him from the right, forcing him to turn to see a large, rotund NetNavi that looked to be made of a log in black shorts and sporting mechanical arms and legs with conjoined eyes where the white was black and the eyes were yellow and thick pink lips, "No way…A NetSavior here?"

"Sorry, but there's no way we're letting you get that game data!" the NetNavi declared before Megaman Model HX and Roll A appeared at his sides, "Glad you two arrived."

"Not all that glad to be here, sadly," Megaman HX noted, frowning, "Was really hoping there wouldn't be trouble tonight."

"Same here! I wanted to play Maxima's Warrior with Maylu so much!" Roll A scowled as she glared at Elecman, "You're in for it now, ya malfunctioning electrical socket!"

"Ghhh…Why you…!" Elecman snarled, unleashing a blast of lightning at the trio before Roll A quickly turned into A-Elecman and absorbed it, "!?"

"Whew…Not too shabby. Thanks for the juice!" A-Elecman grinned, punching his fist into his palm, before unleashing a blast of lightning at him, "Take this!"

"...Heh," Elecman smirked as he absorbed it, "Thanks."

"Looks like he heals with Elec-Element attacks, too," A-Elecman noted with a grimace, "Sorry, guys."

"Hey, you thought it was just a unique thing to you," Woodman noted with a shrug, "But it's fine."

"Ashe, you soak up the shocks he sends. Woodman and I will go for the heavy blows," Megaman HX ordered, switching to FX.

"Battle Routine, set!" Lan declared.

"Execute!" Megaman FX complied as he unleashed a barrage of fire bullets at Elecman, who quickly moved about to dodge only to be hit by a thrown log by Woodman, before Megaman switch to HX again to deliver a slice right across Elecman's emblem, "You're finished!"

"Oh no you don't! Lightning, Slot In!" Zap declared before a bolt of lightning slammed down on Elecman…repairing the emblem and bruises.

"Because of course he has BattleChips that electrocute his own NetNavi," Woodman grimaced before A-Elecman quickly soaked in several blasts of lightning from Elecman.

"Gonna have to try harder than that!" A-Elecman blew a raspberry at the original.

"Oh we will!" Zap declared before Elecman vanished and appeared behind his copycat…with his left lower arm/hand replaced with a green guard with a lime-green plasma blade coming out of it.

"HRAH!" Elecman roared, delivering a slash to A-Elecman, causing him to shriek in pain as he was knocked away.

"?! A WoodSword!" Woodman gasped before it switched to a red guard with the plasma turning crimson, forcing Woodman to jump to dodge the swipe, "Now a FireSword?!"

"After learning that girl can copy us, all World Three members now carrying BattleChips of different Elements to counter her powers," Zap explained.

[Oh you suck!] Model A complained as Megaman HX parried a swipe of Elecman's FireSword.

"You big jerk! Why are you even doing this, huh?!" Yai demanded.

"'To bring fear and confusion to society.' That is WWW's motto!" Count Zap replied, "And what better way than to ruin the debut of a highly-demanded video game? Just think of all the smiles we'll steal with this!"

"Unforgivable!" Lan growled, "You guys are the worst!"

"You think we'll let you steal anything tonight? No way!" Maylu declared, the 'bolt' on A-Elecman's helmet lightning up at the same time as the gem on Megaman HX's helmet.

"ElecSword, download!" Lan declared as Megaman HX's blades began crackling with the power.

"Uh…Lan? You just gave me an Elec-Element BattleChip…to fight a guy who heals from those."

"It's for Ashe," Lan replied.

"Ohh…" Megaman HX blushed as he offered his sword to A-Elecman, "Sorry…"

"Aw~You're such a sweet young man, Lanny," A-Elecman snickered as he put his hand on the blade and absorbed it before changing back to Roll A, "Alright! Let's kick some ass and collect some more Elecman booty!"

[But what about the lightning healing him?] Model P reminded.

"...Got it! Woodman!" Lan called as the burly NetNavi landed by them and away from Elecman.

"Yes?" Woodman asked.

"Can you make your WoodTowers into a lightning rod?" Lan asked.

"A lig…of course!" Sal realized, "Woodman, follow Lan's orders on this."

"Understood, Madam Rose," Woodman complied.

"When the lightning comes, block it so he can't heal," Lan ordered, "Vent, HX. Spreader, BattleChip in and Download!"

In a flash, HX formed and charged up the blocky BattleChip with his Fire-Element. Elecman roared as he formed a sphere of lightning between his hands. Megaman HX opened fire with a barrage of Fire-infused shots as Elecman unleashed a stream of lightning at them. The two attacks collided, creating a flash of light and an explosion. Within the light, a flash went unseen before Elecman cried out as A-Aeolus and Model LX impaled him in the gut and chest with their blades. Elecman scowled before smirking.

"Aren't you forgetting? I'm invincible!" Elecman declared before a bolt of lightning headed for him…when pillars made of logs that had sharpened to a point at the ends erupted from the ground, forming a 'dome' to block the blast, "?! No!"

"What in the world?!"

"Good strategy, Lan," Woodman complimented, hands pressed on the floor, "My WoodTowers are acting as a lightning rod, preventing his BattleChip from allowing him to heal."

A flash went off and Megaman X and Roll A aimed their guns at Elecman, "DOUBLE CHARGE SHOT/GIGA CRUSH!"

"GYAAAAAAAAAARGH!-!-!-!" Elecman screamed as he was ripped into by the blitz until he was Logged Out.

"Shit! We couldn't get the data!" Zap exclaimed in shock, "Those brats…I gotta get outta here…"

"Allow me to help you then," a voice spoke, causing Zap to look over the side of his brightly lit hot air balloon to see Madam Rose smirking at him from the rooftop.

She aimed her wrist-mounted PeT at the balloon before plasma-made leaves shot out of it at a rapid-fired pace. The leaves spun around rapidly, becoming green glowing buzzsaws in appearance. Zap screamed as they pierced his balloon's fabric, causing the hot air to start shooting out. He screamed as he held on tight, all his electronics falling out and landing in bushes or on other objects over the mansion before flying off into the distance, leaving a twinkle in the sky. Madam Rose managed to jump and catch Zap's laptop before it could hit one of the statues…before tensing as alarms went off and the statue opened up, deploying several hoses.

"EEEEEK!-!-!-!"

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't push, huh! Don't push!" Higsby scolded at the large line the next day, "Everyone who pre-ordered can purchase the game! We have a list and we will check it to make sure you are who you say you are!"

"Hoo boy…The line's even bigger," Lan gawked, standing outside Yai's limo with the group.

Maylu giggled, "But look at all those smiles. Seems World Three failed to steal them after all."

"We were able to get the game released on time thanks to you kids," Mr. Ayano spoke.

"We wouldn't have been able to win if it wasn't for that NetNavi that showed up to help," Lan noted, "I hope their NetOp's alright…"

"I'm sure they'll be fine," Vent noted, 'Unlike last time when Elecman managed to steal it and Sal had to retrieve it, he never got a chance at it here. That's honestly good.'

"It was a distraction," Oda informed while sitting across from Ciel and Chaud, a grim scowl on his face as his fedora his his eyes, "World Three deployed two powerful NetNavis into where we had stored the WoodCode and managed to obtain it due to all eyes being more focused on Zap and Elecman's rampage through security systems."

"Oh no…" Ciel gasped.

"How long will it take to finish that fake copy?" Oda asked.

"If they're as proactive as they've currently been…too long," Ciel grimaced.

"...What if we added a program to the ElecCode then?"

"Hm?" the two looked at Chaud.

"If we lose the ElecCode, the World Three will have all four Elemental Codes," Chaud informed, "We'd just spend time trying to find their base in a mad scramble and it would be too late to find them most likely. But what if we added a program to the ElecCode? One that, if they do succeed, will allow us to find their base of operations?"

"...Ciel?" Oda asked as the blond tapped her cheek in thought.

"If it's a tracking program…That's honestly easily done. A simple two hours for it being traceable in a three mile radius or globally if I focused on it solely for three," Ciel replied, "Attaching it to the ElecCode and hiding it so no one would notice? Mmm…I'd say it'd take me a good five minutes."

"..." Oda sighed, "Get to it, Ciel. We'll do that. But afterwards, keep working on making that replacement for the ElecCode. Stolen or not, it's vital for the power plant to have a program that operates like the ElecCode."

"Yes, sir," Ciel replied, "Do you think they'll attack during the N1?"

"The event in two weeks?" Oda asked, "...No. More than likely, they'll have several members sign up for it under pseudonyms."

"Why?" Chaud asked.

"Think about it, Agent Blaze. If World Three's agents were to win the massive tournament that is being held for the strongest NetBattlers to partake in, what would you think would happen to people's sense of safety?" Oda responded with his own question.

"..." Chaud scowled.

"All members with a NetNavi are advised to sign up to defeat the World Three agents that participate in it," Oda ordered.

"I'll make sure the other NetSavior agents get this information," Ciel assured, "Though…" she smiled, "This will also be something that will finally settle something for us: the ranking of NetNavis so that fights stop breaking out."

"Hm?" Oda raised a brow under his fedora as Chaud narrowed his eyes.

'A tournament where I can fight that boy again…' Chaud thought, clenching a fist tightly under the table, 'You won't win this time…'

"By the way…" Oda spoke up before pointing to the medical bay in the secret base…where a bandaged up Sal was in one of the beds, "What happened to Madam Rose?"

"The Ayano Family security system that Agents Hikari and Sakurai are constantly testing for them and that I've helped improve upon," Ciel replied.

"...A home security system did that?" Chaud asked, raising a brow.

"It's as tight as Fort Knox in the USA," Ciel stated, "Maybe even tighter. But she was able to obtain a laptop owned by World Three which I'm having Roze look through."

Oda nodded, "Well…remind me to request that Sal be given a raise…and then ask for the blueprints of the security system later to make it into an obstacle course for our agents along with a digital version for the NetNavis."

'How can those two kids handle that security system?!' Sal thought in bewilderment as Miyu peeled an apple by her bedside.

'It seems the river flows in what it was meant to before at this time, but paths have flowed into it threatening to spill it over,' Miyu thought, glancing at her crystal ball, 'Yet…even the altered river still flows to one path…Deletion.'

GT: Been a while since I updated. My apologies. Next chapter…I'm sure a lot of folks will be interested on seeing how it's handled.
