So, I let my tumblr followers vote on what story to update next and this one won. I've been wanting to update it for ages but I kept losing motivation because of all the "update!" comments I got. The next chapter posting depends on you guys! I'm more than willing to post in 3 weeks, 9/15/23... but I won't if I get more of those comments. I had a rule about that on Wattpad for awhile to deal with the sheer volume I got, and I'm adding it here too.
I hate to do it, but those comments kill my motivation to work on this fic so quickly- half the time I was opening the doc to work on this chapter and then I'd get a notification for a comment that would be asking for an update. Don't just ask for an update, tell me that you like the fic, tell me what you enjoy, what's your favorite part? Let me know my work is appreciated and don't just demand I put more out there. I want to hear feedback... as long as it's actually feedback.
Ex. of what isn't helpful, in case it's confusing "Update please!" "Update soon" "please update" "When are you updating?" "Have you abandoned this story?"
Ex. of what is helpful! "This is great!" "I loved [part]" "I can't wait to see what happens [insert thing]" "[heart emoji]"
Anyways, I have started on the next chapter and should commenters not demand updates I will be updating 9/15 (the anniversary of the update before this one, cause I think I'm hilarious). I hope you enjoy this chapter, it's a solid twenty pages once more and has more shenanigans.

Rhea insisted on handing out snacks and drinks to all the teenagers before they began the next chapter. There were various breads and fruits, some of the fruits had interesting spices on them that none of the teenagers seemed to recognize.
The boy, Percy, was nibbling on it while assuring his partner and the satyr that he was okay. The others seemed rather worried as well, and Rhea could not blame them. The Fates snipping a thread was no laughing manner.
Yes, the Fates did so often, it was their duty, but for Them to show such? Well, that was rare.
That was dangerous.
She could not help feeling fond of the boy though, he was sweet and reminded her of her husband. She was rather certain Percy was not Kronos' child, but he was undoubtedly related to Him.
She would not wish suffering upon him.
Hyperion claimed the book from Iapetus as everyone ate and Rhea tried to figure out how many more chapters they could get through before needing to stop for a proper meal.
With the rate they were getting through them… probably only a few more, four max. It wasn't exactly early in the day when they started, it was nearing time for a midday meal for the children.
They would probably be able to get through more in the afternoon, but she didn't want the children just sitting there the whole time, so she might suggest letting them take a break before dining.
They didn't know this area or time, perhaps she could arrange for them to see some of the area?
"Alright!" Hyperion called, drawing the attention. "I think it's time to continue reading, you're welcome to snack as we read. Iapetus, don't interrupt."
"You interrupted me!"
"Now then," he cleared his throat. "Grover Unexpectedly Loses His Pants."
"Thank Khaos," Krios declared. "Those things are hideous."
Annabeth burst into giggles and Grover groaned, dropping his head against the couch.
"Yeah Grover," Percy teased. "Those things are hideous."
"I will stomp you to death with my hooves."
"How are you going to do that?" Percy asked, radiating innocence. "You've got pants on."
"Why you-"
A familiar groan from Octavian interrupted, "Yes, yes, we get it. You're a terrifying faun. Can we please get past the title before we start arguing again?"
Grover looked torn in how to respond to that, but Hyperion quickly began reading so the decision was made.
"Confession time:… …the bus terminal."
"Which was super rude of you!" Grover immediately interrupted.
"Well, you were being creepy."
"Sorry, Grover," Thalia chimed in. "You were being kinda creepy."
"I dunno," Jason mused. "The Fates would make me pause before running."
"Then you're stupid," Luke said with a scoff. "The Fates should be reason to run."
"You cannot escape Fate," Phoebe murmured.
"She's right," Octavian agreed. "Red will agree too, Fate will come for you no matter what you do."
"What's a bus terminal?" Iapetus asked, interrupting the solemn moment.
Hyperion scowled and held the book up, "Stop interrupting!"
"I know, I know. It was rude… …be sixth grade?"
"Okay yeah that's definitely creepy," Piper muttered.
"Soooo creepy, I'd make a break for it too," Leo agreed.
"What's sixth grade?" Iapetus asked.
"Why do you only ask ridiculous questions?" Hyperion demanded. "Can I not get through a paragraph?"
"They interrupted first! Why are you yelling at me!"
"They're guests! And children!"
"Hey, sweet, we can't be yelled at," Percy chirped.
"I can still yell," murmured Annabeth as she curled against him. "But I do wanna hear what happens in your drive to Camp so let's continue."
"Thank you," Hyperion sniffed.
"Whenever he got upset… …caught the first taxi uptown."
"'East One-hundred-and-fourth and First,' I told the driver."
"A word about… …you meet her."
"Her name is Sally Jackson and she's the best person in the world… …she was left with no money, no family, and no diploma."
"That's so sad!" Rachel said, frowning. "Your mom is wonderful, she deserves better."
"Yeah, but also you clearly love her so much," Frank smiled at Percy. "I can understand why you called her on- well, you know."
Percy flushed, "My mom is the best."
"She so is, deserves the world," Thalia agreed.
Rhea smiled at the teenagers, "It's good to see that you love her so dearly, she seems like a wonderful mother."
"She is," Percy agreed.
"The best," Nico added.
"The only good break she ever got was meeting my dad."
"I don't have any memories of him… …and he never came back."
"Kronos why would you abandon your child like that?" Iapetus scolded.
"Very wrong of you," Koios agreed solemnly.
"He's not my dad."
"Shhh," Krios said. "You don't have to protect him from his crimes. Very wrong of you to not bring him home."
Kronos let out a long suffering sigh and stared at Hyperion until the Bright Titan looked back at the book with a grin.
"Lost at sea… …Lost at sea."
"She worked odd jobs… …then showed his true colors as a world-class jerk."
"What's a jerk?" Iapetus interrupted.
"It's… like someone who is mean and unfair," Annabeth offered.
"A prick, dirtbag, vermin, sleazeball, nuisance, brute," Leo offered.
"Basically they're cruel for no reason," Hazel finished.
"So, your step-father was cruel?" Rhea murmured softly.
"How terrible," Theia scowled. "A parent should protect their family, not treat them cruelly."
Percy shrugged awkwardly, sinking into the cushions.
"When I was young… …when I came home is a good example."
"I walked into our little apartment… …Chips and beer cans were strewn all over the carpet."
"Hardly looking up… …'So, you're home.'"
"Where's my mom?"
"'Working,'… …got any cash?'"
"That was it… …if I told my mom, he would punch my lights out."
"Excuse me," Annabeth interrupted.
"What?" Demanded Okeanos. "He would what."
Percy studied the ceiling very intently.
"He will pay for such," Rhea promised. "Such a cruel man-"
"Peace, my love," Kronos murmured. "When the time comes you may ensure that he is never able to do such again."
She settled, "Indeed I shall."
Nico frowned, "Wait what happened to him? I didn't know about him so-"
Percy smiled at that and answered with the sweetest of smiles, "That's a spoiler. Hyperion, can you continue?"
Hyperion did not seem inclined to do so, but Kronos nodded in agreement. Many of the Titans watched Percy closely, seeing how he curled closer to his lover Annabeth.
"'I don't have… …I told him."
"He raised a greasy eyebrow."
"Gabe could sniff… …everything else."
"'You took a taxi… …Am I right, Eddie?'"
Eddie, the super of… …'The kid just got here.'"
"Well at least he isn't totally horrible," Thalia grumbled. "But he should defend you more!"
"Am I right?" Gabe repeated.
Eddie scowled into his… …gas in harmony.
"What, is Gabe blackmailing him or something?" Jason demanded.
"It definitely looks like Eddie is scared of him," Rachel agreed.
Percy frowned, "I'm not sure, I know that basically everyone in the building was scared of him though."
"Maybe he was in the Italian mafia," Annabeth half joked. "I mean, his name sounds Italian and that would probably scare people."
"What's a-"
"I'm reading!" Hyperion interrupted the beginning of Iapetus' question.
"'Fine,' I said… …'I hope you lose.'"
"'Your report card came… …act so snooty!'"
"What's a report card?" Iapetus interrupted, almost spitefully it seemed.
Hyperion groaned even as Octavian answered, "A piece of paper saying the grades for all the subjects they learned that year. He's saying Percy did bad on it."
"Ooooh," Iapetus frowned. "Well that's mean, if he's struggling shouldn't he be helped?"
"Definitely," Mnemosyne said. "A student struggling needs assistance, not discouragement.
"Well, we don't really get that," Leo said with a frown.
"If you do bad you are not helped," Tyson mumbling, rubbing his arms.
Hyperion frowned but continued.
"I slammed the… …cigars and stale beer."
"I dropped my suitcase… …Home sweet home."
"How crude," Phoebe huffed. "Home should smell as such."
There was a murmur of agreement.
"Gabe's smell was… …snipping the yarn."
"Well, wow," Thalia said, blinking. "Yeah, I'd say it'd be strong enough to hide you in that case."
"Oh, it really was," Grover said, making a face.
"But as soon as I thought that… …growing long, horrible talons."
"Then I heard my mom's voice. 'Percy?'"
"She opened… …my fears melted."
"Awww," Rachel cooed. "That's so sweet!"
"She is a truly good mother," Rhea agreed. "To offer such comfort with her mere presence… a lovely experience."
Jason looked wistful, "your mom sounds amazing."
"She really is," Percy said. "The best mom."
"My mother can make me feel good just by walking into the room… …not even me or Gabe."
"'Oh, Percy.' She hugged me tight… …Was her little boy doing all right?"
"She's so sweet!" Rachel cooed.
"She is," Nico agreed. "She never minds me staying over or joining them for meals."
"I visit sometimes and she's so nice every time, never minds a few hunters popping in," Thalia added.
"We should go visit her," Jason said eagerly. "I want to meet her."
"Me too!" Rachel declared. "How have I never met her when we hang out so much?"
Percy flushed but grinned, "Sure, when this is over we can do that."
Hyperion continued before they could get too distracted planning.
"I told her she was… …really glad to see her."
"From the other room… …I gritted my teeth."
"He just kills the mood," Luke huffed softly.
"He really does," Reyna agreed. "I should feed him to my dogs."
Octavian snorted, "Might give them indigestion."
"My mom is the nicest lady… …not to some jerk like Gabe."
"For her sake, I tried… …didn't seem so bad."
"You must've done an amazing job then," Thalia said, looking impressed. "I'm still down to murder her."
"No murder!" Grover insisted.
"Booo, no fun."
"Until that trip to the museum …"
"'What?' my mom asked… …something scare you?'"
"Scare you?" Nico asked, hand on his chest. "More like terrify you."
"And don't forget lead to him being gaslit the rest of the year," Rachel chirped.
"We can't forget that. Though luckily not everyone was good at it."
"I said sorry," Grover groaned.
"'No, Mom.'"
"I felt bad lying… …it would sound stupid."
"She pursed her lips. She knew I was holding back, but she didn't push me.
"'I have a surprise… …the beach.'"
"My eyes widened. 'Montauk?'"
"'Three nights-same cabin.'"
"When?"
"She smiled… …get changed.'"
"I couldn't believe it… …enough money."
"I'm liking this Gabe less and less," Theia declared. "First he is cruel, even physically harming the child under his care-"
Percy winced.
"-and then he is limiting the child's time with his mother, and now he is even preventing them from traveling?"
"And he's apparently spending all the money!" Rachel agreed with a fierce scowl.
"Yeah, it's not like they don't have any money, he's just wasting it… or hoarding it," Hazel added with a frown.
"That's just how he was," Percy said with a sigh.
"He doesn't get better," Hyperion grumbled, examining the page.
"Gabe appeared in the doorway… …Then we would get out of here."
"'I was on my way… …serious about that?'"
"'I knew it… …won't let us go.'"
"'Of course he… …The works.'"
"Gabe softened a bit. "So this money for your trip … it comes out of your clothes budget, right?"
"He's joking, right?" Piper demanded.
"Upset about the clothes budget?" Leo teased.
"No! Well, yes! But only because he's clearly blowing money on whatever he wants but is limiting her blatantly!"
"Yes, honey," my mother said.
"'And you won't… …there and back.'"
"'We'll be very careful.'"
"Gabe scratched his… …my poker game.'"
"What!?" Demanded Iapetus. "That little-"
"I would like him to suffer, just a bit," Theia mused.
"Absolutely," Iapetus agreed. "But also… what's poker?"
"A type of… game played for money," Octavian said. "Can we continue? I'm tired of hearing about this scum."
"Horrible news," Piper said with a sigh. "I agree with Octavian."
"You little-"
"I'm continuing," Hyperion interrupted their budding fight.
"Maybe if I kick you… …not to make him mad."
"Why did she… …right now.'"
"Gabe's eyes narrowed… …he decided."
"He went back to his game."
"As if he'd have the brain cells to recognize sarcasm," Annabeth sniffed. "What a piece of scum."
"But he did leave," Reyna said. "Which is a plus."
"That's so true," Leo said. "He left, sayonara, if only we could get rid of him permanently."
Percy grinned and leaned his head on Annabeth's. "Let's continue."
""Thank you, Percy… …forgotten to tell me, okay?'"
"For a moment… …an odd chill in the air."
"But then her smile returned… …Gabe his seven-layer dip."
"Should poison it," Octavian muttered.
"I now feel the need to check my food," Reyna said, eyeing Octavian.
"Oh, please, if I was going to poison you I would've done it ages ago when I thought you'd-" he scowled when he couldn't continue. "How is that spoilers?"
Reyna looked very curious but didn't ask for elaboration that he clearly couldn't give.
"An hour later… …ready to leave."
"Gabe took a break from … …'78 Camaro-for the whole weekend."
"'Not a scratch… …little scratch.'"
"Like I'd be… …to blame me."
"I'll give him a few scratches," Thalia muttered. "The hunt hasn't handled any nasty men in a it."
"I have questions and concerns," Nico said. "Should we be checking the missing persons list?"
"No," Thalia said. "They're not missing, just cold cases."
"I have new questions and concerns," Nico said.
Percy snorted, "I think it's pretty clear what the answers are."
"CSI is gonna go after you," Grover chided.
"What's CSI?" Iapetus wondered.
"More like the FBI," Annabeth said. "Or the CIA, and CSI is Crime Scene Investigators, they investigate crimes. FBI is Federal Bureau of Investigations and CIA is Central Intelligence Agency. FBI handles crime in the country most of us are from, the CIA handles stuff out of our country."
"Handles stuff," Frank snorted.
"They're… varied…"
"How strange," Iapetus muttered. "So many groups, is crime that prevalent?"
Even Octavian laughed at that question.
"You'll probably see," Percy said. "There's definitely crimes in the book."
"Like that one wild child terrorist who blew up the St. Louis Arch," Grover chirped.
"Shhhhh," Percy said, cheeks warming. "We should keep reading.
"Watching him lumber back… …enough to find out."
"Woah," Grover said.
"Percy, you didn't tell me you could do that!" Thalia demanded. "And you were upset about the- well the thing Kiron taught me!"
"Uhhh… is that weird?"
"It's powerful," Grover said. "And says a lot about Gabe that it would affect him."
"He must be even worse than we realized, and one who would harm a child is amongst the worst already," Phoebe murmured.
"Well, uh, there's still a lot to read so-" Percy looked towards Hyperion who huffed and continued.
"I got in… …step on it."
"Our rental cabin… …too cold to swim in."
"I loved the place."
"Of course, you would," Annabeth said fondly. "You love the beach."
Percy flushed, "It's just… comfy."
"We'd been going… …Her eyes turned the color of the sea."
"Oh, maybe his mom is Okeanos' child."
"Still fresh water," Okeanos said with an eye roll.
"Could be Pontos, or Thalassa," mused Tethys.
"Could be related to multiple of sea Gods!" Theia added eagerly.
"But he's Kronos' kid," Iapetus said, head tilted.
Percy groaned. "I've said-"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, mini-Kronos."
"Just read," Octavian huffed. "His parentage will be revealed."
"We got there at sunset… …I should explain the blue food."
"See, Gabe had once… …She did have a rebellious streak, like me."
"Ooooooh," Thalia said. "That's why."
Leo cheered, and Piper had to shove his him to lower his voice, "Yeah! Stick it to him!"
"That explains so much," Jason muttered.
"I never knew that," Annabeth whispered.
Percy shrugged, "It just never came up."
"How interesting," Rhea said. "But there are blueberries."
"And several mushrooms, some birds, a few other fruits, some herbs, even root vegetables," added Kronos.
"Wait really?" Frank blinked. "I didn't know there were so many blue foods."
"Some are probably extinct in our time, or poisonous."
"True…"
"When it got dark… …I never got tired of hearing them."
"Oh! Your mother wishes to tell a story, akin to our poets?" Phoebe asked earnestly.
"Yeah," Percy said. "They're printed on the same kind of book that we're reading."
"Fascinating," Mnemosyne said. "I am very eager to look into that more. Perhaps we could craft some of our own…"
"Did we just invent books?" Percy muttered to Annabeth.
Annabeth buried her head in his shoulder, "Oh dear."
"'He was kind… …his green eyes.'"
There was a pause from all the Titans before they began to inspect each other's eyes.
"Okeanos I guess," said Hyperion.
"No, Kronos could've changed his appearance," chided Theia.
"They're being ridiculous," Percy grumbled.
"Poor thing," Annabeth cooed, still tucked against him.
The two tucked together, with Grover snacking beside them, and watched the Titan debate wind down.
"'Mom fished a… …be so proud.'"
"I wondered how… …sixth time in six years."
"What's a-"
"No," Hyperion said, continuing his reading before Iapetus could ask.
"'How old was… …when he left?'"
"She watched the flames… …This cabin.'"
"'But… he knew me as a baby.'"
"'No, honey… …before you were born."
"I tried to square… …A warm glow. A smile."
"Do you think he visited you?" Annabeth asked softly.
"I think so, I think he just didn't tell mom."
"I think he would," Grover murmured.
Percy smiled, settling between them.
"I had always assumed… …he'd never even seen me …"
"I felt angry at my father… …from the fire."
"Valid," Iapetus aid. "Kronos should've brought you to us. We would've taken care of you, mini-Kronos."
"Much better than those mortals for sure," Themis declared. "We absolutely must do something about that horrid man, though your mother seems very kind."
"She's the best," Percy agreed fiercely. "And Kronos still isn't my dad."
None of the Titans looked like they believed him.
"'I don't know… …to do something."
"Because you don't… …welled with tears.
"She took my hand… …I have to send you away."
"Oh Percy," Annabeth said, hugging him.
"Sending him away won't help him," Octavian huffed. "Keeping him close to that scum was protecting him, his scent would only grow more obvious away from home."
"I was… kinda out of schools nearby," Percy said sheepishly. "A lot of the ones near wouldn't take me anymore. Boarding schools… were the only real option with the money my mom had."
"Your mother clearly is trying her best," Rhea said softly. "I can tell the love you have for each other. It's no surprise a God fell for her. It is a shame that you seem to be in danger because of that, however."
"Perhaps it is because Kronos is his father," Iapetus mused. "They have those lies about how our King would act, perhaps it is believed and thus others act wrongly to attack his family?"
The Titans mused over that while their guests held back their giggles and Percy dropped his head on the couch.
"Why me?"
"Well, we should continue," Octavian said with a smirk. "So you can learn how correct you are."
"Her words reminded… …not normal," I said."
"'You say that… ….you'd finally be safe.'"
"'Safe from what?'"
"She met my eyes… …I'd tried to forget."
"During third grade… …the middle of his head.
"Before that-a really early… …my meaty toddler hands."
"In every single… …I was forced to move."
"Wow, you're stealing Herakles moves," Annabeth teased.
"You strangled a snake as a child, wow," Jason muttered.
"Even back then you were incredible," Nico whispered.
"I thought he was a God when I first met him," Hazel admitted to Nico. "The more I hear the more I realize that wasn't so inaccurate."
"He- well- you know, in Alaska," Frank agreed. "So, it's no surprise really."
Percy coughed, "It wasn't that big of a deal, anyone could've-"
"Snakes are hard to kill," Rhea chided. "They are wonderful creatures, but difficult to kill at oftentimes."
"Can confirm," Octavian agreed.
"Well, you would be the expert," snipped Leo.
"Be polite," Reyna chided them both before Octavian could snap back.
He visibly bristled but sneered and turned towards Hyperion, "Are you going to read?"
"Bossy," Hyperion muttered, but did oblige.
"I knew I should tell… …and I didn't want that."
"'I've tried to keep you… …can't stand to do it.'"
"'My father wanted… …a special school?'"
"'Not a school… …A summer camp.'"
"A summer camp?" Phoebe asked.
"What's that?" Iapetus chimed in helpfully.
"A camp is like… a place for activities, to learn to survive in the wild sometimes, or to just have fun. It varies by type of camp," Annabeth explained.
"I went to an archery camp once," Frank added. "We just focused on archery stuff."
"Interesting," Phoebe mused.
"It sounds like a fun activity for children, and educational," Themis said. "Perhaps we should consider adding something like such?"
"We should, it sounds quite fun," Rhea agreed. "We can discuss more during the mid day meal, which will arrive sooner than planned if we do not continue reading.
"There's only two pages left this chapter," Hyperion assured her.
"Then let us finish them," Kronos declared. "We still have much to get through."
"My head was spinning… …mentioned it before?"
"'I'm sorry, Percy… …good-bye to you for good.'"
"Wait I thought you said those were temporary?" Iapetus interrupted.
"Yeah," Percy agreed. "It's why I was confused."
"It gets explained," Rachel assured him. "It confused me how it works too for a bit."
Hyperion cleared his throat and continued.
"'For good? But if it's only a summer camp …'"
"She turned toward… …would start to cry."
"That night I had a vivid dream."
"Uggghhhh," Thalia groaned. "I hate those."
"They're the worst," Nico agreed.
"I don't get them very often, but they're usually bad," Jason said with a grimace.
"Mood," Hazel whispered.
"When did you learn memes?" Nico asked her, blinking.
"Percy has been teaching me some modern-day memes!" she looked very pleased with herself.
"Huh… like- one on one time?"
Hazel squinted at him, "Why? You want to spend time with him?"
Nico flushed, "Well- we're- you know, basically family- I mean not really but-"
"Uhuh…"
"I… would not mind spending some more time with him."
"Uhuh…"
Frank snorted, "You can join the lessons I'm sure."
"What?" Percy asked, leaning towards them. "Nico is joining the modern-day culture lessons?"
Nico coughed, "It could be helpful, some things confuse me."
"Sure," Percy grinned at Nico, who flushed deeper. "The more the merrier. We can talk details later, Hyperion is giving us the evil eye."
Hyperion was indeed scowling at them and the group went silent, allowing him to continue.
"It was storming on the beach… …animals to fight harder."
"That doesn't sound like mother," Iapetus muttered.
"Our uncle, perhaps?" Rhea offered.
"Maybe…"
"I ran toward them… …I screamed, No!"
"I woke with a start."
"Outside, it really was storming… …pounding the dunes like artillery."
"With the next thunderclap… ….my hair stand on end."
"Yikes, a hurricane? With no warning?" Leo said. "Not good."
"Especially not on the beach, you need to evacuate," Hazel agreed.
"Don't worry, we leave."
"Then a much closer noise… …pounding on our cabin door."
"My mother sprang… …open the lock."
"Grover stood framed… …he wasn't exactly Grover."
"What does that mean?" Jason asked. "How can he not be himself?"
"Did you even pay attention to the title of the chapter?" Leo teased. "Percy doesn't know about satyrs being real."
"Oh," Jason flushed. "Right."
"Dork," Octavian grumbled. "We haven't been reading that long."
"It feels like years already," Jason said with a huff.
"What? You think we took a two year break between chapters?" Luke snorted. "It was ten minutes, but it's going to take two years to get through this chapter at this rate."
"We're literally almost done," Hyperion grumbled. "If you'd shut up-"
"Yeah, yeah," Rachel said, rolling his eyes. "Let him finish the chapter so we can tease Jason for his bad sense of time."
"Rude," Jason grumbled, pouting as Piper pat his arm gently.
"'Searching all night… …were you thinking?'"
"You were being creepy- ow!" Leo scowled at Piper as she looked pointedly to Hyperion. "Rude…"
"My mother looked… …didn't you tell me?'"
"I was frozen… …what I was seeing."
"'O Zeu kai alloi theoi… …where his legs should be …
"What was there?" Tyson asked. "Did he lose his fur?"
"No, remember Percy doesn't know about the Godly world yet."
"Oh, right."
"My mom looked at me… …Percy. Tell me now!'"
"I stammered something… …in the flashes of lightning."
"She grabbed her purse… …still limp when he walked."
"Because where his feet… …There were cloven hooves."
"And that's the chapter," Hyperion said, closing the book and immediately losing it to Mnemosyne.
"Hey!"
"I shall read next, there is still much to get through."
"You just want to examine the book," grumbled Koios, who definitely also wanted to examine it.
"You may have it after Themis."
"What!?"
"I asked Mnemosyne already," Themis said with a sniff. "You should have done so."
Koios sulked as the kids stretched.
"Let them have a moment to stretch," Rhea said. "We've been sitting here for some time. After a short break we shall continue."
"And it'll only feel like three weeks to Jason," teased Piper.
"Oh come on," Jason groaned. "Leave me alone."
