A journalist from the Capitol's newspaper goes to District 12 to find out the real story - and come to terms with his own role in the Second Rebellion and his own lost love. Author's note: This story has become increasingly about the folks who fought the revolution and are building the post-war world.

The Games are a distraction, and everyone involved is nothing more than some pawn to feed their desires. So the key to winning...above all else, is picking a part in the show and giving it all you have. Because their love determines all.
