Ok so, it has been a long time, I know. The truth is that a year ago when I started this story, I got so distracted with my many ideas to make a good story that I forgot to make one, twelve chapters in i realised that I had made too many mistakes in characterisation and too many plotholes that the idea of continuing terrified me.
In the year that I stopped writing, I have changed a lot. I realise now the the story i had written then was not only terrible but somewhat offensive, even if i had no intention to make it so, for that I apologize.
And so, in 3 days time after the release of this note, ill be deleting the story up until now and will hopefully be under a complete rewrite.
There are still some aspects of the original that I enjoyed, like for example the idea that Harry and Rebekah adopted Sheila. The love story between those two I realise now was bad judgement on my part though, so i will quickly be removing that.
The idea that Lexi and Rose were turned by Harry are also plots that i like and I hope to flesh that out further as well. That being said I had always intended Harry's and Lexi relationship to be completely platonic.
Harry not having magic in the beginning is still going to be part of the story. I had always intended to have him get his power back, but having him get it back in like chapter 3 would pointless, so that will be quite a bit down the line. I have had a general idea of the situation in which he gets them back but as i said. You will have to just wait and see.
I had also left the door open in the original story for a multi pairing, but I no longer feel comfortable with that. And while I don't have a problem with slash stories, that is neither what I am interested in or have experience to write about. That being said that is no excuse to go into the comments and spew hate and slurs as I have seen previously.
To those who were looking forward to seeing what happens next since my hiatus from writing, I must apologise for the wait, and am asking for a little while longer.
Please also note that I am not going to be uploading constantly. I hope to be putting chapters out at least once every 2 weeks. Maybe more, maybe less. I will be somewhat busy with both classes and work but i hope to put out a good story as consistently as possible.
