Hello everyone, and welcome to a new story called Tales of Kakarot and Parslee. Now, this is a story where Goku has an older sister alongside him and Raditz. Now, in this story, Goku will be keeping the name Kakarot, as he won't suffer from his head injury and won't be named Goku by Grandpa Gohan. Some things from the series will be different, but it would mostly be the same. Now, enjoy a what would be story if the Dragon Ball series was different.
Deep in space, we see a spherical pod heading in the same direction. In it was a 2-year-old boy with wild, spiky hair, as he was sitting on the lap of a 7-year-old girl with messy, shoulder-length hair. Their eyes were close, as their pod were heading to one destination: Earth.
On Earth, we are out in the wilderness, as we see a lone hut. It was evening, as an elderly man came out of the hut for an evening stroll. He was kinda short in stature, as the only hair on his head was a big, bushy white mustache and eyebrows. He wore an orange martial arts shirt with yellow rings, a white line going up the middle, black sleeves and white trim along the collar, sleeves and bottom of the shirt. He also wore black pants that had white on the bottom, black and white martial arts shoes, and a green cap on his head. This was Gohan.
He took a few steps from the cottage, when what he thought was a shooting star, soared passed him and crashed in the forest west of his position. 'Strange, shooting stars don't crash in the middle of the forest.' The man thought. He then went to go investigate what this strange phenomenon was.
Once he got to the area where they were, he saw a spherical pod painted white and black, and had a window on it. He was about comment on it, until the door on the pod opened, and out came two children: one boy and one girl. Not only was it strange that they came out of the pods, but they were wearing strange armor, and they both possessed monkey tails. He knew these two were not human in the slightest. The little girl was carrying the boy, like an older sister would to a younger brother.
The girl looked around in a kind of daze, as if they had been asleep, which the boy was still asleep. Once she got her bearings, she spotted the old man and the girl flew up to him, which intrigued the old man that she could fly.
"Excuse me, sir. This is Earth, right?" The little girl asked Gohan.
"Yes, it is. Tell me, who are you and where you're from?" Gohan asked, then added. "Also, where are your parents?"
"That's a long story. Do you have a place where me and a brother can stay?" The girl asked.
"Why, of course. Follow me." Gohan said, as he lead her to his cottage, where it looked like it was meant for one person. "It might not be much, but you and your friend can stay in there until we build a bigger place."
"Thank you, and this is my brother." The girl said, as she brought the boy in and put him in bed. after she did so, she then remembered. "Oh, i almost forgot. What's your name?"
"You may call me Gohan. Now, why don't you come and tell me your story." Gohan said, as he walked towards a fire pit and sat down on one of the logs surrounding it.
The girl came over and sat next to Gohan, as he put some logs in the pit and set them on fire. She introduced herself as Parslee, and her brother was named Kakarot. She had told Gohan that they were a race of warriors called Saiyans from the planet Vegita, who were proud, thrive on fighting and grew stronger after every battle. Parslee also mentioned the reason that she and Kakarot had tails was because every full moon, they grew into something they called their Great Ape form, which can be hard to control when a Saiyan is young.
When Gohan asked why they were sent to Earth, Parslee told him that their parents sent them here, as it was going to be destroyed.
"How was your planet destroyed?" Gohan asked.
"Before our mother and father sent us off, they were talking about it being destroyed by an evil space dictator." Parslee told Gohan.
"Oh. And did your parents make it?" Gohan asked.
This brought tears to Parslee's eyes. "No, they stayed behind, my father trying to go fight for our world. But they died, along with thousands, maybe even millions, of other Saiyan's." She explained.
"Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. At least your father died an honorable warrior." Gohan said, showing sympathy.
"Thanks. One day, I will avenge them, I know it." Parslee said. "I might have gotten my mother's kindness, but I also got some interest in fighting like my father."
"At least with your help, your brother could be a really great fighter too." Gohan said, as he also added. "Looks like it's getting late. Why don't we get some rest, and then we can get some sparing and building a new home started tomorrow."
Parslee agreed, as Gohan put out the fire, and they head off to bed. The next day, they started working on their new house, as Kakarot watched. They also had some time to spar, which they let Kakarot join, but they didn't go all out. They continued this for the next 10 years, as their house was big enough for them to live in. Kakarot and Parslee also were enjoying Earth and the inhabitants.
Kakarot was now a 12-year old boy with some muscular features in his arms and torso, as he was now wearing a blue sleeveless ki top, blue ki pants, a red belt and black ki shoes. He also had his tail like a belt too
Parslee was now a 17-year old teenager with some muscular features in her arms and legs. She was also slim and somewhat curvy for her age, as her boobs were kinda big, as her butt was on the bubbly side. She was wearing the same kind of Gi as Kakarot, but hers was grey instead, and her tail was like his too.
A few miles west, a vehicle was heading in their direction. The one driving this vehicle was a teenage girl with blue hair that went slightly went past her shoulders, as she had it tied up in a ponytail. She wore a pink shirt with the name 'Bulma' on it, pink shorts that went down mid-thigh, purple socks, blue shoes with white soles and on the toe part, a brown glove on her right hand, a red wristband on the left, a red bow in her hair and a purple scarf around her neck. She also had a brown belt around her waist with a blue bag on it. She was a little more on the curvier side than Parslee, as her boobs and butt were a bit bigger.
She stopped on the road, as she got out and took out out a strange looking stopwatch-looking device, as she pressed the button on top and it turned on. Some beeping came from it, as its screen looked like a radar, which had 7 blips on a grid screen. 2 of them with her, while one was very close by.
"Getting closer, now it will be mine." The girl said, as she got back in her vehicle and drove in the destination of the closest blip.
Back with the two Saiyan's and elderly human, Kakarot and Gohan were sparing at their new home, as Parslee went hunting for food for everyone to eat. She was walking back with 6 really huge fish, as she didn't want to waste anymore energy flying. She then hears the noise of what she thinks is a beast coming from behind her, as she looks behind her and sees the same vehicle we see earlier coming for her.
Parslee toss the fish to the side, as she jumped high in the air and fires a Ki blast towards the vehicle, as the girl in the vehicle barely saw it coming and swerved out of the way, as the Ki blast hit near the back tire and made the vehicle turn to its side.
"You thought you could hurt me with that? Think again." Parslee said, as she landed on the ground. As she walked toward the vehicle, the same girl from earlier started coming out, scared of what she had just witnessed.
"S-S-Stay back!" The girl said, as she shakily pointed a pistol at her. Parslee then stopped in her tracks, not because she was scared of the other girl, but because she was the first other girl she seen that wasn't her.
"You're the first female I've seen that wasn't me." She said, which surprised the girl.
"W-wait, other female? Do you live out here alone?!" The girl asked.
"No, I also live with my brother and grandpa Gohan. If you want to join us for lunch, we have plenty." Parslee said, as she picked up the six huge fish off the ground. This had also surprised the girl, but for two reasons: 1) that was a whole lot of fish for three people, and 2) how was this teenage girl strong enough to carry six huge fish?!
"Okay, though that looks like a lot of fish for four people." The girl said, which this made Parslee smirk.
"Then you haven't seen me or my brother eat before. The names Parslee, by the way." Parslee introduced herself, as she lead the way back home.
'Parslee? What a strange name to give a girl.' The girl thought, as she followed the Saiyan.
They both walked down the path back to the house, until they reached the place. Kakarot had noticed Parslee get back with the fish, but didn't notice the girl behind her.
"About time, Parslee. I'm starving." Kakarot said. It was when Parslee set the 6 huge fish down is when Kakarot noticed the girl. He then asked, "Who's this?"
Parslee then looked at the blue-haired girl. "Oh, she almost attacked me with an Earthling vehicle, but I blasted it to the side." She said.
"Did you happen to get her name?" Kakarot asked.
"Oh, right. I forgot to give you my name. My name is Bulma Briefs." The girl, now named Bulma, introduced. She then noticed these must be her brother and grandpa Gohan she mentioned.
"Kakarot, don't be so rude." Parslee said.
'Kakarot? Who names their kids after plants?' Bulma thought to herself.
"May I ask why you are out here on your own?" Gohan asked her.
"Well, I came here looking for something specific. Something that is usually described in a legend." Bulma said.
"A legend, you say? Why don't you tell us about it while our lunch is cooking." Gohan said, as Parslee started a huge fire for all the fish to cook on.
As they were waiting for the fish to cook, they all went inside to talk about this legend Bulma mentioned.
"You see, there's a legend that says there are seven mystical sphere's that, when brought together, can grant you a single wish." Bulma said, then added. "At least, everyone thought it was a legend, until I found one at my place."
"Wait, you found one of these legend spheres?" Parslee asked.
"Yeah, I did. After finding it, I made a device that could lock onto its power. After I tested out my device, it not only detected its power, but six identical powers to it. After that, I made the decision to go looking for these things, as I had found another not that long ago." Bulma said.
"Okay, a few questions. First, what are the name of these mystical spheres? Second, what do they look like? And third, what do you call your device to find these spheres?" Kakarot asked.
"To answer the first and third questions, the spheres are what I like to call Dragon Balls, and I call my device the Dragon Radar. For the second question, the Dragon Balls look like this." Bulma said, as she brought out two orange glass spheres. In each sphere, there were stars in them. One had two stars, as the other had five.
"Interesting. They're like the one I found years ago." Gohan said, as he left the room and came back with a small blue box. He set the box next to the Dragon Balls, as he opened it up to reveal a four-stared Dragon Ball, as all three balls started glowing.
"Amazing! I knew the radar lead me in the right direction!" Bulma said.
"Now tell me, what will be your wish if you were to collect all seven of these Dragon Balls?" Gohan asked.
"My wish? That's easy. I would wish for a boyfriend." Bulma said. This made Kakarot laugh and Parslee chuckle. "What's so funny about that?!"
"You would use the one wish for a boyfriend?" Parslee asked. "It's both pointless and unnecessary for a wish."
"She has a point. There are a lot of boys your age out there that you could possibly date." Gohan agreed, as Bulma had blushed and hung her head down in shame.
"Instead of talking about her love life more, can we eat? I'm still hungry." Kakarot said, as his stomach growled loudly. Parslee agreed, as she, Kakarot and the two humans went out to take the fish off the fire.
"I guess I could always go for my backup wish for a life time supply of strawberries." Bulma admitted, as Parslee put all 6 fish on the table.
"That's a better choice for a wish. Now, dig in everyone." Gohan said.
As soon as he said that, Kakarot and Parslee start scarfing down a fish each. This had surprised Bulma more than Gohan, as the old mad had raised them for 10 years, and knew how much they could eat. Parslee got done with her first fish a bit before Kakarot did, as they moved on to their second fish each.
"How are they eating these huge fish?! No human can eat this much!" Bulma said in shock, as she didn't know they were Saiyans.
"Oh, they look human like you and me, but in reality, these young one's are Saiyans." Gohan said, as he cut one of the fish in half and started eating it.
"Saiyans? As in, an alien race?" Bulma asked, still in shock.
"That's right." Parslee said, as she and Kakarot showed her their tails. "Kakarot and I came here 10 years ago, not to take over, but to escape a planet that was about to be destroyed by an evil tyrant."
Parslee then told Bulma the story that she told Gohan after she and her brother arrived 10 years ago. From having to escape a dying planet Vegita, to traveling through space and arriving on Earth. She even told the blue-haired girl that their parents didn't survive, as one of them tried fighting off the evil tyrant. She even told her more about Saiyans.
"Wow, that's a lot to take in." Bulma said, in a shock. She then asked. "What was this tyrant's name?"
This question had surprised Parslee, as even grandpa Gohan hadn't asked this before, as he probably wanted to respect her feelings. "Mother and father called him Lord Frieza. I only got to see him once before coming here. Trust me when I say, you probably wouldn't want to mess with him."
"Well, seeing as he can destroy planets, who would want to mess with him." Gohan said.
"Hey, Bulma. could we join you to find the rest of the dragon balls?" Kakarot asked. "By we, I mean Parslee and I."
"I guess you two could come with me. You guys did offer lunch and gave me an interesting, yet sad, story." Bulma said.
"A journey like that sounds good for kids your age. It let's you get to see more of Earth, and meet new people." Gohan said.
"Are you sure you don't need help here with anything?" Parslee asked.
"Parslee, dear. I can take care of myself. Have been able to before I met you and your brother." Gohan told the young Saiyan woman. "Go have some fun."
"Okay grandpa." Parslee nodded, as she looked towards Bulma. "Okay, I'm ready."
"Okay, but we have a problem. I only have one vehicle left, and I don't think it would fit all of us." Bulma said, as she took a box out and opened it. She took a small capsule that was blue and grey in color and had a button on top. She pressed the button and tossed it, as a bike came out of it in a puff of smoke.
"No need to worry, Kakarot and I can fly." Parslee said, as she and her brother floated a foot above the ground. This both surprised and impressed Bulma.
"A-Amazing! Let's go find the dragon balls." Bulma said, as she got on her bike. She then started racing off with the two Saiyans, as Gohan waved goodbye to them.
There, I think I will leave it there for now. I know the first episode of the series was longer with the the introduction of Pilof and his two goons, but I already made it pretty long and we will see those three down the line, I promise that. This will also have Kakarot (Goku) stronger in canon, as his power level at the start of canon was only a 10, only double that farmer Raditz had scanned at the beginning of DBZ. Well, see ya next chapter.
