Mother Wolf Ch. 23
A few hours later, more monsters had arrived at the hospital to support Howleen and Bram. Howleen's family, Bram's mother, Charlotte has joined them along with her adopted daughters, Gory and Spectra. There's also the Fear Squad along with Ghoulia, the Casketball and SKRM teams, Twyla, Gigi, and Catrine. At one point, Ramses surprisingly made an appearance out of still having guilt over what transpired between his eldest and the Wolf's youngest.
Cleo's iCoffin goes off and she checks it and is surprised at the contents of the message. "It's Nefera! Her and her boofriend are almost here."
"Nefera?" Ramses snatches the device as he hasn't heard from his eldest child since the farm, and he examines the device. "Wait?" the pharaoh then registered what his youngest said and turned to Cleo. "Boofriend?"
The Fear Captain's only response was a nervous chuckle.
Then, a loud bang is heard coming from outside the hospital.
Running outside, an old RV is seen pulling up as it releases more banging sounds while letting out smoke. The large vehicle comes to a complete stop as it drops to the ground. The door is thrown open as coughing mummy exits followed by a dragon. The Dragon runs to the front of the RV.
The mummy finds herself tackled into a hug. "Nefera!" Cleo half shouts. "When I told you that Howleen went into labor, I didn't mean for you to come right away," the two broke apart and grabbed one another's hands.
Nefera shrugs. "I just felt I had to be. I..." the older de Nile sibling looks down. "I still don't feel like I've been forgiven yet."
The younger sibling lifts her sister's chin up. "Howleen herself forgave you as have I."
"Thanks, Cleo," Nefera gives a small smile. "But that does not change all the other things I've done."
"Nefera!" Ramses calls out. The pharaoh walks up to his eldest as his youngest steps away. "You vanished without a word! You do not call, you never wrote!" he glares at her while looking at his daughter up and down. She has never looked so plain. "What happened to you?"
"Aunt Hathor made a decent monster out of me," the eldest de Nile answers before looking back at the front of the RV. "Though, she had a lot of help," the mummy ghoul smiles as Drake comes back around.
The dragon lets out a sigh. "Just as I was feared," he walks up to Nefera. "This was Gloria's last ride."
"Awe," Nefera places a hand on his arm. "We had such good memories with her," she is truly saddened by that news.
"Not to mention the memories within her," Drake smiles and ends up with a smack on one of his arms.
The eldest de Nile lets out a giggle. "Oh, you," she then notices the glare from her father directed more at Drake than herself, and then clears her throat. "Daddy, this is Drake."
The dragon holds out his hand. "Nice to meet you, Mr. de Nile. I've heard so much about you."
Ramses looks at the oiled stained hand and hesitantly accepts the offer, immediately wiping his hand after words. "Cannot say the same about you," he turns to glare at his daughter. "Nefera, I expected more from you as a de Nile. You not only affiliate yourself with a monster of lesser standards unsuitable for our family name, but you are also in a courtship with him?"
Nefera flinches at her father's words and goes to fix a loose strand of hair. "The thing is, Daddy, we aren't in a courtship anymore. And I'm no longer a de Nile." Something on her hand did not go unnoticed by the youngest de Nile.
"Oh, my Ra!" Cleo's eyes widen at the sight of a silver band around Nefera's finger. "Is that a wedding ring?" the younger sister grabs her sister's hand.
"It is," Nefera smiles as Drake's arm wraps around her shoulder with his hand showing another ring like it. "We're married. Making me an Avalon."
Ramses saw red and approached dragon. "You dare to marry my daughter!? You do not deserve to be in the same presence of my family!"
This does not phase Drake. "So, that's where Nefera got it."
As a response, the Pharoah threateningly points his cane at the dragon. "You want to repeat that boy?"
"Daddy!" Nefera steps between them. "Don't! Drake is a good—Oh!" the eldest daughter slumps and was about to fall. Luckily, Drake was quick enough to catcher.
Everyone can be heard shouting her name. "Nefera!"

A Few Hours Later
Everyone's back in the lobby. Nefera is okay, but her family is still worried about her.
"I already told you, I'm fine," Nefera insists. "The doctor said that it was nothing to worry about."
Cleo and Drake look upon the mummy ghoul with worry. Ramses does the same while occasionally glaring at his new son-in-law.
Then, the doors leading to the delivery room open and out walks Bram with a brace around his wrist. The blonde vampire slowly steps up to where his and Howleen's friends and family were waiting. Everyone stands up, concerned about the seemingly blank expression that Bram carries.
Once Bram is in front of everyone, he says, "I have two daughters and a son."
Hearing that, the present monsters cheered in congratulations. The vampire received many pats on his back from his teammates. Including Clawd. And surprisingly, a nod of approval from Howleen's father.
Bram suddenly finds himself pulled into a tight hug by his mother. "Oh, my darling child has children of his own! It felt like it was just yesterday when I was feeding you and changing your diapers."
The younger vampire lets out a whine, "Mother!"
"And before you know it, you'll be hearing your children complain just like that," Charlotte pulls away as Harry and Harriet approach them. "By the way, Bram. What happened to your hand?"
The blonde vampire lifts his arm with the brace around it. "Howleen has quite the grip on her."
Harry nods his head. "I've been there a few times myself," he then turns to his wife who smiles brightly.
"Now then," Harriet starts begging. "When can we meet our grandpups?"
"Not today, I fear," he informs them, causing them to deflate. "Howleen just gave birth and she and the babies need time to rest."
"You're right," Harriet reluctantly agrees. "I remember how exhausted I was after the first time I gave birth."
"Oh, don't get me started," Charlotte speaks up. "I remember when I went into labor, it felt like Bram did not want to come out. I swear it was like he was hanging onto something in there."
"Mother!" Bram once again whines.

The Next Day
Howleen is now in the lobby sitting in a wheelchair, holding one of her two daughters, Rieka. The ghoul is surrounded by all of her friends and family along with Bram's.
Her mother is cradling her son, Hunter, with Charlotte next to her, waiting for her turn to hold her grandson.
Vlad is not too far holding the young Wolf's other daughter Valerie. "You my, dear, have made me ninety-eight times the great grandpa," he coos.
Clawdeen walks up to her mom with her iCoffin out on video chat, showing the oldest Wolf sibling. "Awe! Howleen. They're so adorable."
Howleen looks up from Rieka and smiles the device. "Thanks, Clawdia," she then looks up at her mom, Bram's mom, and then over at Toralei. "Is this what it felt like for you the first time."
"That big feeling that tells you all that pain was worth it?" Toralei answers as Vlad passes Valerie to the werecat. "Yeah," she then lowers down to show the baby to Maxie.
Harriet finally let Charlotte hold Hunter. "I can tell you that feeling comes after every child. Making the moments so precious."
"Oh, there you are, my dear Hunter," the older Vampire boops the baby on the nose, enticing a giggle. "Spectra! Gory! Come meet your nephew!"
The younger vampire ghoul and the ghost come up to their mother. "Hello there, little one," the ghost greets. "I'm your aunt, Spectra and this…" she gestures to her adoptive sister, "is your other aunt, Gory. And…" the ghost then pulls up a purple haired cat ghoul. "…this is maybe your future aunt, Catrine." That surprised both the vampire and werecat.
"Now, Spectra," Charlotte steps in. "Best not to get ahead of ourselves. They are both still in school after all. No need to rush into things."
"But," Spectra tilts her head. "aren't you the one who's already planning their wedding."
That shocked both Gory and Catrine who turns to the older vampire woman.
Bram grins at his adoptive sister and her ghoulfriend. "Now you know how I have felt for sixteen hundred years."
Charlotte's only reaction was to smile. "Speaking of which," she turns to Bram and Howleen. "When are the two of you going to get married."
The two young parents glance at one another before Bram tells them. "We are holding off on any thoughts of that for two reasons. One being that we are still in school and would like to graduate."
"The other," Howleen looks down at her daughter. "I would like to make my own way in the world," she reaches out for Bram's hand and holds it. "I know that I can rely on Bram and even on the rest of you. But I need to prove to myself that I don't need to."
Everyone smiles at the young mother.
After a few moments, a certain mummy walks up to the youngest Wolf sibling. "May I?" Nefera timidly asks.
Howleen smiles and holds Reika out to her. "Sure. Just mind the head."
Nefera holds the little bundle and is soon joined by her sister, husband, and father. She coos, "I can't wait to hold our little one."
That comment shocked both Drake and Ramses.
Ramses grip tightens around his cane, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves."
"Maybe your dad is right," Drake shrugs. "We'll have a baby someday."
"That day will be sooner than you think," Nefera tells them. Drake stares at her in confusion, Cleo holds her hands up to her mouth, Ramses grip tightens so hard that his cane broke in two.
"Nef," the dragon addresses. "What are you saying?"
The mummy smiles at him. "That fainting spell wasn't just from stress."
"R-really?"
"Really."
Drake suddenly drops to the ground and is out cold.
Nefera raises a brow at her husband before looking up at the other monsters. Specifically, the mothers. "Is this normal?"
"From experience," Howleen looks up at Bram who gives a sheepish smile. "Yes." And the other mothers agreed.
