Ch. 5: Taking over the Tri-State Area
Sorry this one is a day late, I had a crazy night last night with several things I had to attend to so I couldn't get this posted after class. I also wanted to say that the final product of this story will be 10 chapters, maybe 11 if I decide to do an epilogue.
Today is Doofenshmirtz's big day, the day he finally accomplishes what he had worked for for years.
Some new characters enter the story here as well.

Doof's hoverpad was directly over City Hall with a swarm of robots following closely behind.
Phineas-Dr. D, what do you plan to do exactly?
Doof-I am going to demand that Roger hands over the Tri-State area to me. And when he sees the robot army that I have created, there's no way he won't!
Phineas-And what will you do if he doesn't give you the Tri-State area?
Doof-Then he will feel the wrath of my robot army.
Phineas-That sounds awful
Doof immediately turned towards the young boy
Doof-I brought you along to assist in my evil-doing. If you aren't going to help, I'm sending you back to jail!
Phineas-I won't help you
Doof-Fine. Normbot, take him back to jail.
Phineas was grabbed by two normbots, and aggressively at that. Both robots were squeezing onto one of Phineas' arms. The boy cried out as the robots crushed his arms all the way back to Doofensmirtz's building. Upon returning to the oddly shaped building, the robots threw Phineas onto the ground and split up. One opened the cage and the other tossed the boy in. The robots quickly flew away, back down to Doofenshmirtz.
Isabella-Phineas! Are you okay?
She was relieved to see Phineas. It felt like a weight was lifted off of her shoulders. She wanted to talk to him about what she was feeling earlier but she knew this wasn't the right time.
Phineas-I'm ok, but the robots really were squeezing on my arms.
Phineas took his shirt off to reveal red marks on his arms from where the bots were squeezing him.
Isabella-Oh my god, Phineas!
Baljeet-That is definitely going to bruise for a while, if only we had something here for you, like some ice or pain medicine
Phineas-It's alright guys, I'll be fine
Baljeet-Where's Buford?
Phineas-I honestly don't know. He got off the pad that we were flying around on to go to the bathroom and didn't come back. He said he wanted to go to city hall and warn them about Doofenshmirtz.
Candace-What is Doofenshmirtz going to do?
Phineas-He's going to demand that Mayor Doofenshmirtz surrender the Tri-State area to him, and he said that if Roger doesn't, we will "feel the wrath of his robot army."
Ferb-Well, it doesn't appear there's much we can do now…
Doofenshmirtz lands his hoverpad at the gate of city hall before banging on the door.
-Melanie, can you get that?
Melanie opens the door to see Heinz, the hoverpad, and the robots and her jaw drops.
Doof-I need to speak to Roger
Melanie-Of course, sir
Melanie runs to get Roger while Dr. Doofenshmirtz looks around his soon-to-be workplace.
-Hello Heinz, what can I do for you?
Doof-Roger, follow me outside, would you?
The Doofenshmirtz brothers walk out the front door and to Roger's surprise, a mass amount of robots have circled City Hall!
Roger-Heinz, what is all this?
Doof-I demand you seize control of the Tri-State area and give it to me!
Roger-I can't do that
Doof-Then you will watch in sorrow as my robot army destroys Danville!
Roger-Alright! You win!
Doof-Good, now call in a press conference and tell the city that you are relinquishing control, and giving it to me!
Roger-As you wish
Roger heads inside the city hall building and calls all the local news stations to tell them that he has an important announcement. Within minutes the media arrives and Roger takes the podium.
Roger-Good evening citizens of Danville. It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that I am resigning from office. My brother, Heinz Doofenshmirtz, will be taking over immediately. I have no further comments at this time.
Roger stepped down from the podium and was swarmed by cameras and microphones and news reporters chasing a potential story.
Roger stepped over towards his older brother who had a smug look on his face.
Roger-Heinz
Roger handed Heinz the key to City Hall
Buford was on his way down Main Street before turning down Getz Road to get back to his house. He turned the ninja suit off and just decided to walk the last few blocks to get home. He had been through a lot today and was exhausted. All of a sudden he heard a familiar voice running behind him.
-Buford, have you seen Isabella today?
The voice belonged to Gretchen
Buford-Yeah, it's a long story, and I don't wanna tell it eight times, so go get your other fire girlies and I'll tell you all at the same time
Gretchen-Ok!
Gretchen ran off to assemble the troops as Buford headed inside to change into some real clothes and get a drink of water. After a quick five minute break he headed outside to see the fireside girls in uniform, minus Isabella.
Gretchen-I've gathered the troops, now what's going on?
Buford-So about three hours ago, we were all hanging out in Phineas and Ferb's backyard eating cheeseburger flavored ice cream, thanks to a device we made. Then there was a patch of the grass in the boys' yard that started glowing. I moved the grass and a slide appeared!
Adyson-You moved the grass?
Buford-Yeah it came out like a puzzle piece. Anyway, Phineas went down the slide and Isabella followed him. But the slide closed and disappeared before anyone else could go down it. About 20 minutes later, the grass was glowing again and it was an elevator-looking tube instead of a slide. So Phineas and Isabella came out of the elevator and told us that Perry was a secret agent, he fights an evil scientist every day, and that he was in trouble. So Phineas, being the fearless guy he is, decided to go try to rescue him. So me, Baljeet, Isabella, Phineas, Ferb, and Candace all went down to the building downtown that looks like Ferb's head. We scaled the building and got into the room that Perry was trapped in, but there were robots everywhere. These robots were guarding Perry, so we couldn't bust him out of the cage like we originally planned. So we tried to distract the robots while Phineas broke open the cage. The cage broke open and we got Perry out, but then the robots captured us. This evil scientist that Perry fights is apparently Mayor Doofenshmirtz's brother, and this Dr. Doofenshmirtz is as we speak trying to take over the Tri-State area. He tried to recruit me and Phineas to go with him and help him. He had this weird floating surfboard he drove around. The plan was for me to tell this guy that I had to pee so I could get off and go warn everybody at City Hall. But before I got to City Hall, he was already there. So I ran back here because I didn't know what to do. As far as I know, Phineas is with Doofenshmirtz, and Ferb, Candace, Baljeet, Isabella and Perry are all locked up in Doofenshmirtz's building.
Gretchen-I have a lot of questions but there's no time, we have to do something.
Buford-Everything at the building is guarded by these robots. We thought we could evade them with the ninja suits but we got caught, there's no getting around them.
Katie-Sounds like this isn't going to be easy...

It's not looking good guys. But at least Buford now has the aid of the Fireside girls; well, most of them.
On Sunday, we head to the first dimension where we meet the first dimension versions of the characters you know and love.
