"Daemon"an angelic digimon cloaked in shadow said. "Yes, I have already started part one of the operation" Daemon said crossing his arms. "Which digidestined have you captured" The angelic digimon said with a grin plastered on his face. "The ones of kindness and Loyalty " Daemon said in a bored tone. "We only need the main 8" the angelic digimon said with a growl. "Yes, but my plans had to start with the digidestined of kindness as he was the one I left my mark on. With your helpful assistance my upgraded powers could make our place exceptionally easier" Daemon said in a proud tone. "Continue with whatever scheme you are doing. However mark my words of you don't bring at least one of the digidestined we need there will be dire consequences " The angelic digimon said in an annoyed tone.
"Well anyway you have the others to use if you'd like"Daemon said with a sigh. "Well I would like to finish our plans as quickly as possible. Anyway I need to find out which one of the digidestined is fated to foil my plans and destroy them" The Angel digimon said. "Eh, as long as it's not those stupid Royal knights fighting us I think it's fine" Daemon said his tone being angrier at the mention of his enemies. "Those puny humans might have a way to revive the Royal Knights and even then U have heard rumors of one of them surviving" The Angel digimon said with a sigh. "One of them STILL SURVIVE let me at them" Daemon said with a growl about to turn around. "Calm yourself Daemon in your current manifested form you are nothing but an ant to a live Royal knight. Now you are dismissed" The Angel digimon said clearly annoyed. Daemon grumbled something under his breath before turning around and leaving.
"Hmm there seems to be a weird presence permeating throughout the dark ocean killing Dragomon's minions"the Angel digimon said to himself. "What was that, my lord" a Diaboromon said crawling out of the shadows. "There seems to be a weird presence in the dark ocean that is killing digimon, however there seems to be a powerful aura about it. I can't pinpoint the source to destroy it either"the Angel digimon said growling. Unknown to it Diaboromon was smirking. "I will bring you some digimon to torture to get your mind off it"Diaboromon said with what Lucemon could only interpret as a smile, but what was he smiling about.
Their conversation was interrupted as the other members of the demon lord walked into the room. "What brings you guys here" The Angel digimon said seemingly irritated due to having to talk to them. "Well for your information, we all have sensed a weird signature of data in the dark ocean" the digimon with makeup said. "I know I have to, I was about to get on it beforehand" The Angel digimon said putting his hand on his forehead.
"Well anyway why are you here" The Angel digimon said. The other digimon filed into the room before responding. "Mostly to see if you know about the weird presence as we already sent Wisemon, Dragomon, and Blastmon to check on the presence. They said they found nothing and you know Wisemon's capabilities" The old digimon said. "The presence doesn't seem to be too strong, I think we should finish off the digidestined before worrying about this"Daemon said clearly wanting to leave. "I agree with Daemon, I think we should carry on with the main plan"the digimon with makeup said. "The presence seems strong, I vote to check out out " the digimon with guns said with a grin. "Well the others abstain leaving it up to you" The old digimon said pointing to the Angel digimon. "I think... we should finish off the digimon first" The Angel digimon said pausing for dramatic effect.
"Well that settles it, now can we leave. I don't feel like sitting here all day, I have other things to do" Daemon said grumbling. "Wait, I have a few other things to do other than this" The old digimon said. "OH COME ON, just do it by yourself" Daemon said running at the old digimon before getting held back by the other digimon. "Calm down, see this is why everyone tells you that you have temper problems. Be more patient you can wait a few more minutes" the digimon with guns said polishing his guns. "Why you"Daemon said growling. "Oh my poor ears are going destroyed by the big bad scary Daemon" the digimon with makeup said in a sarcastic tone said giggling at Daemon's infuriated face.
"Hahaha" she cackled as he glared at her. "I'll beat you to a pulp you little wimp" Daemon said cracking his fists at Lillithmon. "As of you could beat me"Lillithmon said continuing to cackle like a witch. "Will both of you stop bickering love children" The old digimon said. "Shut it old man"Daemon said sitting down. "Why you little-" the old digimon was about to say before being cut off. "You all are insulting each others like rookies" The digimon with guns said laughing. "How about you butt out than" Lillithmon said snarling. "You do this and still think Daemon is the only one with temper tantrums" The digimon with guns said laughing. "How about you repeat that"Lillithmon said eye twitching. "You do this and still think Daemon is the only one with temper problems. Was that loud enough for you princess" the digimon with guns said louder. "Your so dead. AHHHH" Lillithmon said running at the digimon with guns. At this point Daemon and the old digimon were glaring daggers at each other and Lillithmon and the digimon with guns were fighting each other.
"Will all of you shut up" The Angel digimon said. Immediately the other digimon shut up and stopped fighting. "Good, now I need some alone time so I dismiss all of you to do whatever up want. All the digimon nodded before turning around to leave. The digimon were grumbling about annoying teammates and leader. With the digimon with guns laughing at Lillithmon. "Finally done peace and a quiet".
"Well did you guys find anything"Tai said as he approached the forest clearing that they had arrived at the digital world in. Though as he walked in he found nobody there. "Huh, where is everybody" Tai said tilting his head in confusion. "Well they are probably still coming, you dumbo"Matt said as he and Sora walked into the clearing. "Well our trip was uneventful anyway so it doesn't really matter" Sora said pouting about how they spent so much time, but didn't find anything. "I mean look on the bright side they might have something if they are here later"Tai said grinning. "That or they are just late cause they ventured to far"Matt said.
"Well anyway do you guys think that we should bring our digimon back to the human world"Sora said looking like she would be really happy of they said yes. "Well I guess we could talk Koushiro that it's just in case something happens in the human world"Tai said shrugging his shoulders. "Well than how about we go and grab our digimon and the others digimon too"Sora said. "How about 1 of us go so of the others come back they won't get worried"Matt said staring at Tai as if ushering him to leave. "Fine, fine I will go"Tai said with a grin knowing Matt was going to make his move on Sora.
Tai slowly walked off towards the toy village to go round up a few rowdy digimon. Suddenly Sora felt a weight jump on her as Matt started at her in the eye as if asking for asking knowing exactly what he wanted to do Sora was about to nod, but decided to ask a question. "Do you really want to do it here" she asked with a raised eyebrows. "I mean it is a weird location, but it will due for now" Matt said with a slightly lust filled look in his eyes mirrored by Sora's eyes. "Ok then why don't we get on it"She said with a grin. This was a start a very steamy makeup session.
"Ok, I am almost there"Tai said panting at how long the walk was. "Let's sprint the last little way" he said to himself. Honestly Tai felt a tiny bit lonely, almost everybody in the digidestined had already found somebody for them. Yolei and Ken, Izzy and Mimi, and the one that hurt the most Matt and Sora. He hid all the pain it brought him behind a smile, but eventually that rage would boil up and manifest in screaming at somebody. Sora was always following him around as children, and his dense self treated her as a best friend figure. She slowly migrated over to Matt and left him in the dust. It was so annoying that it was all his fault and he knew it. I mean he shouldn't take it out on his best friend in reality.
Another two people he was worried about were TK and Kari. After everything that's happened to him he knows what a fake smile is. He can read the persons eyes, and everytime TK smiles his eyes look depressed. He once took a visit to TK's house and it was a mess. TK himself looked like the Shimogami has taken his soul which left him very worried. However he honestly felt like TK needed to voice his opinions out to the group. Kari also he felt worried about, but not in the same sense as TK. He might just be being an overprotective brother, but she needed protection from the darkness inside of her. Kari had always had a fragile mind, so honestly strengthening her heart was mission number 1.
Before he knew it, he was already at the Toy Village. "Ok, well if Davis, Ken, Kari, and TK all have their digimon then I only have to find 8 more"Tai said nodding to himself. Looking around the village he found to his confusion nothing their. "What is going on...Boom! Boom! The toy vintage is under attack" he said his walking turning into sprinting. His heart racing as he ran towards where he heard the noises coming from. As he looked around the town he noticed many of the buildings had parts falling out and were falling over. "Oh no, I have to hurry up"Tai said growling. There were buildings on fire everywhere and digimon screaming for help. "I really hope Agumon is okay"Tai said gritting his teeth in frustration.
Finally Tai got to the scene where a giant digimon with 3 masks on his face and fire all around his body was punching buildings and setting everything aflame. "What the hell is that"Tai said his eyes widening and breath quickening. Tai has a fear of clowns, honestly the way they smile and their facial expressions freak him out. This thing was like his fears personified. "P-Please don't hurt me"Tai said as the monster turned towards him. "A human, and a puny one at that. Easy prey for me, I wonder if Barbomon will give me extra power for this" the digimon chuckled as it approached with its wide smile. "Aaah, don't come any closer"Tai said as he fell on his butt, tears forming in his eyes.
"Hehehe, this is why humans are such pathetic creatures filled with fear. Don't worry though Barbomon will be happy to feast on you" the digimon said with glee dancing across its three faces. "NO, n-no please just go AWAY"Tai said scared for the first time in years. I mean the digimon looked like Satan with three faces. "Maybe try to keep your last moments dignified instead of crying" The digimon said with a pout and fake tears. "S-Stop making a fool of me"Tai said getting enraged, standing up to punch the digimon. However the digimon's already wide grin became wider turning into more of a creepy smile. That froze Tai in his place as his former fear started to bubble back.
"I'll stop making a fool out of you once I see you as a threat. Which will probably be...NEVER"! It said cackling maniacally. "Oh don't worry you will still have a few days in your puny life in which we will torture you until you have nothing left in you" The digimon said still laughing at Tai. The digimon started towards Tai for the second time, deliberately taking slow steps to scare him. As the opposing digimon came closer Tai remembered all the moments through out his life where his courage has saved him and decided to take a leap of faith. "If your going to kill me, your gonna have to beat me in a fight"Tai said as his courage slowly came back. The digimon took a step back as his eyes switched. Seemingly slightly annoyed that the child was fighting back against him. "How dare you fight against ME! Grrrr, I don't think Daemon would be too sad if I brought you dead" The digimon said charging up an attack. "Fire Fist of Shiva" the digimon said as a giant fist of fire flew towards Tai. Well I guess this is the end for me.
"Pepper Breath"a voice said as a loud boom was heard. Tai slowly opened his eyes to see Agumon in front of him blocking off the digimon's attack. "Agumon"Tai said a big smile crossing his face. "Tai"Agumon said with a smile on its face. "Agumon do you know this digimon"Tai said pointing to the angered digimon. "Yup, that's Asuramon an evil digimon who is supposed to be locked up in the dark ocean like other evil digimon"Agumon said glaring at Asuramon. "How dare you interfere with killing my prey"Asuramon growled at Agumon. "You can't kill my partner either"Agumon shouted back at Asuramon."Grr, then I will kill your both"Asuramon said raising a fist towards the two. "Agumon"Tai said a look of determination on his face.
"Agumon digivolve to Greymon". "Greymon destroy Asuramon"Tai screamed. "Greymon use mega flame to destroy Asuramon". Spitting out a giant flame it hit Asuramon dead on. Flames burned all around Toy town obscuring the vision of Greymon and Tai. "Ugh, I can't see a thing through the flames"Tai growled as the flames slowly started dispersing. "Ahahahaha, you think some puny flame can defeat me"Asuramon called as he walked out of the flames unscathed. "WHAT, how are you completely unscathed"Tai screamed in horror as he leaned down and held his head in horror. "Hahaha this is the puny human mindset that gets you all killed, oh don't worry all the rest of the little baby digimon here will soon be killed by my hand"Asuramon screamed maniacally.
"Now it is time for the end of your story"Asuramon said barely hiding his delight. "Is there nothing I can do. Will I never see the others digidestined, is this the end"Tai said tears now escaping his eyes freely. Asuramon grinned as he started charging up a fire fist. "TAI! Don't give up there is still courage within you"Greymon said trying to encourage Tai. Tai looked Greymon in the eyes and stood up a look of determination across his face. "Your right I need to live and survive for my friends, digidestined, family, and especially KARI!
"Greymon digivolve to MetalGreymon" . "Now, MetalGreymon Giga Blaster" said Tai. Two giant missles launched straight at Asuramon. "Aaaahhhh, How could you attack me. How THE HELL did you HURT ME! "Now MetalGreymon capitalize on this opportunity and attack Asuramon" Tai screamed. "NOOO, I will not let you hurt me Asura Bakunenken. Three beams launched out of Asura's three heads. The clash of the two attacks led to a giant explosion. Boom! Boom!
"MetalGreymon where are you"? Tai screamed looking for his digimon. Suddenly he felt something hit his foot. Looking down he saw a Poyomon hitting his legs. "What are you doing"Tai said confused. "Poyo Poyo "the Poyomon said seemingly wanting Tai to follow him. "You want me to follow you"Tai said nodding before running behind the digimon. The pair continued to run past burning structures and buildings. Tai wanted to stay and help other digimon, but know that finding MetalGreymon was mission number 1. "Are we almost there Poyomon"Tai asked. Not responding it suddenly came to a halt in front of a big figure though Tai immediately recognized it as MetalGreymon. Suddenly a loud laugh echoed throughout the town as they came face to face with Asuramon. "Hahaha even with your tough front I can still sense hints of cowardice in the rough persona "Asuramon said laughing. "No, I won't back down to the likes of you, me and the rest of the digidestined "Tai said as MetalGreymon started glowing.
"MetalGreymon digivolve to WarGreymon". "WarGreymon Terra Destroyer". A giant ball of orange energy flew towards Asuramon engulfing the area in a bright light. "Finally, that battle is over"Tai said huffing to himself. He was exhausted from all the running and fear he had felt the past hour. "Well I probably should be heading back to Matt and Sora"Tai said smiling to himself at his work. "Tai will we digimon be coming with you"WarGreymon asked. "Yup that's why I came all the way here"Tai said grinning. "Poyo Poyo" the Poyomon said off to the side smiling. "It's all thanks to you Poyomon so thank you"Tai said grinning at the white blob.
"Puny human, you thought I was dead. Don't worry I have come back even more powerful than before" a voice said as a digimon riding on a horse and clad in a gold armor rode out of the smoke. "W-Who are you, not Asuramon for sure"Tai said immediately putting his guard up. "Oh don't worry I'm Zanbamon it's evolution"Zanbamon said smirking. "How are you back! WarGreymon attack Zanbamon " Tai screamed. WarGreymon obeyed and launched yawls at Zanbamon fiercely attacking him again and again. "It's useless, but some worry my toying with you is over"Zanbamon said seemingly ready to deal the finishing blow. "We won't let you do any more damage to this town"Tai shouted signaling for their battle to continue. A fierce clash of sword and claws continued as WarGreymon was slowly being worn down.
"WarGreymon keep pushing for all the digidestined and destroy Zanbamon"Tai said. WarGreymon continued to unleash attack after attack at Zanbamon however they had no effect. "Hahaha, puny human your pathetic efforts are for naught. Soon you and your digimon will be done for" said Zanbamon deviously grinning. "WarGreymon Terra Destroyer" Tai said. "Don't worry I will end it first Vorpal Blade"Zanbamon said. The two attacks collided causing dust to kick up obscuring Tai's vision."WarGreymon are you ok"Tai screeched hoping that his partner was fine.
As the dust cleared it showed WarGreymon on the ground heavily injured and a victorious Zanbamon on the other side. "Haha I told you pesky human that your efforts would all be in vain"Zanbamon bellowed to Tai. "WarGreymon Ugh"Tai growled out in desperation. "I'm sorry Tai"WarGreymon said sadly. "Well now it's time to end your pet dinos life"Zanbamon said smiling delightfully. "Poyo Poyo" the Poyomon said running in front of WarGreymon seemingly shielding him. "Hahahaha, this puny and weak digimon is standing up to me one of the highest ranking servants of Barbamon"Zanbamon said letting out a high pitched cackle. "Poyomon RUNNN. Don't let him get you"Tai said letting out a scream of desperation
"Now let's end this, Mystic Flame" Zanbamon said letting out a hell fire that got closer and closer to Poyomon. "Poyo Poyo"Poyomon said accepting its fate as it burned in the hottest fire. "POYOMON NOOO"Tai said tears escaping his eyes as his fists clenched and eyes tightened. "How could YOU"Tai said a black aura surrounding him. "Tai don't fall to the darkness it is not what Poyomon wanted when protecting us"WarGreymon said standing up. Tai slowly looked up the tears drying up as a look of determination replaced the scared look. "Your right for Kari, Matt, Sora, Mimi, TK, Joe, Izzy, and Poyomon I have to stay courageous"Tai said standing up. Suddenly a red aura enveloped Tai, what no one could see was his digivice turning orange and changing shape.
"WarGreymon XEvolve to Gaiomon". "Agumon"Tai questioned. "No, Tai I am now Gaiomon"Gaiomon said turning forward to face Zanbamon. "Now it is time to extinguish this evil being"Gaiomon said. "Even with this evolution you're powers are nothing compared to mine"Zanbamon said clearly showing his arrogance. Gaiomon has red and brown armor on covering his body and two blades in his hands. "Now time to end this,Rinkageki "Gaiomon said as he pushed his two swords together forming one bigger sword and causing the sword to be covered in light. Dashing towards Zanbamon it stabbed the sword straight through its stomach.
"Cough Cough HOW"Zanbamon said coughing up blood and falling to the floor. "Yessss Gaiomon"Tai screamed as Zanbamon slowly turned to digital pieces. Suddenly Gaiomon reverted to Koromon as Zanbamon finally completely disappeared. "TAI AGUMON"Tentomon shouted as he and the other 6 digimon ran over. "What happened Tai"Palmon said tilting her head. "A digimon attacked the village so me and Agumon protected it"Tai said pride lacing every word. "Well anyway we have to get back to Matt and Sora"Tai said running off motioning for the other digimon to follow him.
"Huff Huff, Yamato I think we should stop or someone will catch us"Sora whispered to her boyfriend. "Ya, your probably right"Matt said sighing. They both came apart and quickly got dressed. "I wonder why Tai isn't here, it shouldn't take this long"Matt said squinting his eyes. "Don't worry I don't think anything happened to him"Sora said giggling. "Ok, if your sure"Matt said looking around uneasily. "Honestly I'm more worried about TK, Kari, Ken, and Davis. At least with Tai we know he can handle himself"Sora said. Suddenly a rustling in the bushes was heard from the right of Sora and Matt. "AAAH"Sora screamed landing in Yamato's arms.
As Ken and Davis emerged from the bushes. "KEN and DAVIS you guys scared me"Sora lectured them getting out of Yamato's arms. "Sorry we wandered away from the path and lost our way"Davis said rubbing the back of his head. "Well you could have come quicker"Sora said turning away. There eyes quickly flashed black and quickly turned back. "Anyway where is Tai"Ken said. "Well he went to go and bring back the digimon from toy village. Suddenly both Wormmon and Veemon emerged from the bushes." Hello Sora and Matt"Veemon said jumping up and down. "Hi Veemon"Sora said smiling.
"Ugh this is so boring"Davis and Veemon said at same time. "Davis it's been 2 minutes"Matt said face faulting. The four friends plus 2 digimon continued to stay in an awkward silence. "Sora do you want to continue our session somewhere else"Matt whispered in her ear. "TK and Kari might come back soon and I don't trust Davis with anything"Sora said giggling. "What are you tell WHISPERING about"Davis said shouting at the last part. "None of your business"Matt said huffing in annoyance."Well than talk the silence is getting to me"Davis said growling in annoyance. "Your hopeless "Matt said sitting on a log next to Sora. "I agree"Ken said laughing. "HEEYYY Ken you should be on my side"Davis said deflating.
"Well looks like you guys are having fun"Tai said entering the clearing with a entourage of digimon. "Sora"Biyomon said running towards her partner and embracing her in a tight hug. "Honestly it has been pretty boring"Matt said sighing looking in the distance. "Oh, you don't even know what I have been through the last 2 hours"Tai said explaining the events that transpired earlier in the day.
"Are you ok"Sora said running towards Tai and giving him a quick hug before backing up. "Ya, I am now but it was quite the experience". "The most interesting thing is the fact that Agumon somehow digivolved to mega for a second time"Matt said getting in a thinking pose. "I don't know how I did it, but before it happened a weird red thing was on my body. I was wondering if maybe it was food and I should eat it"Agumon said slightly drooling at the thought of food. "Hmmm, that's interesting we should definitely mention it to Izzy"Ken said grinning in a slightly unnerving way.
"Anyway where are TK and Kari"Tai said tilting his head to the side. "They haven't arrived yet"Sora said looking down. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN they haven't arrived yet. Are they in trouble, we need to go search for them"Tai said frantically. "Tai You need to calm down and think. At this point they could literally be anywhere, and we don't even know if they have been attacked for sure so let's wait half an hour" Matt said calming his best friend down. "If your sure, but after that we're talking Izzy to track them down"Tai said with an unease in his voice. "I think we should go find them, what is they were attacked by a similar digimon as Tai"Davis said. "I agree with Matt, his logic sounds more solid as I bet Izzy can find them anywhere in the digital world"Ken said being a little too calm about the situation.
"Umm, guys who do you think the threat is this time"Sora said. "Well we don't have enough concrete evidence, but they are clearly strong and a big threat"Matt said growling. "We need to prepare to come back as a group to the digital world to find out more about them"Tai responded. "How about next time we also don't split up into such small groups"Sora said staring at Tai. "Sorry, sorry it seemed like a good idea at the time" Tai sheepishly said sweat dropping. "Tai I think maybe we should just go back to Izzy and the others"Tentomon said speaking up for the other digimon. "Ya Tai, I am very hungry"Agumon complained. "Agumon your always hungry and Tentomon I think we should wait a bit longer"Tai said. The other digimon grumbled a bit before quieting down. "At least we're not being attacked"Gomamon said trying to lighten the atmosphere. "Don't jinx it"Palmon said glaring at Gomamon. "He's just trying to be funny Palmon" said Veemon. "Veemon that doesn't mean everybody is in the mood"Wormmon scolded him. The Digimon continued to bicker about it until Gabumon made a compromise between them.
"HELP! HELP! Tai, Matt, or anybody PLEASE HELP"a voice screamed. " Did you all here that's it might be TK and Kari in trouble "Tai said as him and Matt ran towards the voice motioning for the others to stay. The two teens sprinted and ran as fast as their legs could carry them after all it was for their younger siblings. "KARI TK" Tai continued to scream as a voice continued to call back to them.
Tai and Matt burst through the trees to see Patamon and Gatomon looking over an unconscious TK and Kari. "Patamon and Gatomon what happened"Matt said rushing over to pick up both TK and Kari. "They suddenly fell over after, e we were about to head back to you"Patamon said sounding very scared explaining the events of what happened. "We need to get them to the ER"Tai said as he ran back towards the gate to human world.
1. Well that's the end folks. I hope you loved everything that happened in this chapter as it was quite a long one.
2. Now you may be wondering what happened to Daemon, and you will see about that as their are multiple hints that Davis and Ken are not alright.
3. X Evolution is an evolution that makes only digimon with x antibody forms or are a natural carrier be possible evolutions. I just want to lay out though that Mimi, Sora, Yolei, and TK don't have any that really work so I had to get a bit creative with those 4.
4. I also made new crests for the 02 digidestined which are Loyalty, Diligence, and Compassion.
5. I would also like to recommend the Digital Record series by Atsoru Atsomaya. It was a bit of an inspiration for this story and deserves a lot more love so please do read it.
6. I will try to get one or two chapters per month from now on.
