Episode 142: Double Progeny. Part 8.
Metropolitan Hospital Center.
Manhattan.
As Elaina enters the Ward, where Abraham remains in a Coma, Rebecca descends back down in the Elevator. Elaina pretends to be an elderly lady with a Zymaframe, so she can still keep an eye on her husband, who is making an improvement in vital signs and could possibly regain consciousness soon. Elaina slowly manoeuvres towards her vulnerable husbands room and goes by his side and starts talking to him and assures that she and Andy are safe and are staying at a Motel, near Newark. At the secret safe house, where Eric Lance is, he notices something suspicious via the Hospital Security Camera's. The old woman, that's entered Abraham's room, is being watched by an unrecognizable male in a suit. He glances up at the Security Camera and then wanders slowly out of view, holding a cell phone to his ear. Eric finds this rather concerning and suspects the Old Woman may not be an old woman and is actually Elaina and is putting her and Andy's safety at risk.
Rebecca drives out of the Hospital parking lot and is about to drive home, back to Francis Bay. When she stops at a set of traffic signals, she glances in her rear view mirror and hallucinates of seeing Linda Perry, Clara Barton and Emma's corpses in the back seat. She jumps, as her heart starts to beat louder and faster. Rebecca calms herself by catching her breath. She closes her eyes and opens them again and the hallucinations have stopped. Rebecca's guilt and grief of losing the ones she loves most, is starting to intensify. Rebecca pulls off and starts driving off course, distracted by the sudden and unexpected Hallucinations. She drives near Central Park and sees there is a Fairground on the main Greenery. She pulls over and parks up and gets out. It appears she doesn't want to return home yet, considering she hates being under the same roof as Bethany. Rebecca enters Central Park and starts to walk through a busy Fun Fair.
On a Park Bench in Central Park, is Lisa Johannson (Scarlett Wilson). She sits alone, as crowds pass by. The Twenty Three year, is unfazed by the loud music and fairy lights, which can be heard all around. Lisa dreads the DNA test, she will take, which could verify her as a missing person of fourteen years and another identity. Little does she realize, the person, who took her Birth identity is close by. Rebecca is within the vicinity of the girl, whom she classed as a sister. Rebecca is really emotional, seeing so many people, with their children happy. Going on rides, laughing, holding Balloons and playing games. A Clown jumps out on Rebecca, with a loud laugh and she jumps out of skin. She doesn't seem impressed. Hiding her tears, she takes out sunglasses from her coat pocket and puts them on. She walks at a fast pace and spots the Bench where Lisa is. Little does Rebecca know, it's Rebecca Craig, who she thought drowned at aged nine, in a river. Lisa still zoned out, is brought out of her trance, by Rebecca who abruptly sits next to her.
"Mind if I sit down?" Rebecca asks, tearfully in her sunglasses.
"No, not at all," Lisa accepts.
There is no further conversation, as Lisa starts to feel awkward. She thinks nothing of Rebecca's presence at first, but has a few glances. Lisa then, looks to Rebecca a bit longer and Rebecca notices this. Lisa smiles slightly. Rebecca nervously smiles back, but then faces towards the crowds. Lisa, suddenly starts to feel like there is something familiar about Rebecca. A strong connection, but cannot seem to put her finger on it. Without warning, Rebecca gets to her feet and walks off. Lisa thinks for a moment, as she feel like something isn't right. It's a gut feeling. Lisa gets to her feet and pursues Rebecca. She manages to keep up with Rebecca at first, even with the Fun Fair crowds. The crowds get busier and when it seems she's lost Rebecca, she retreats and spots Rebecca looking up at a Ferris Wheel. Lisa notices Rebecca crying. Even wearing Sun Glasses, she can't hide her pain. Rebecca then turns to where Lisa is and Lisa quickly turns away, fearing Rebecca spotted her. When Lisa turns back towards the direction of the Ferris Wheel, Rebecca has absconded. Lisa hurries through the packed Fun Fair trying to catch a glimpse of Rebecca. It's almost as if, it's her mission to find her and that maybe, she's the answer to everything connected to her missing memories. It's possible that seeing Rebecca briefly, has hit the nerve, she revelation, she dreaded. Lisa spots Rebecca walking at a quick pace near the Carousel, as it appears Rebecca suspects Lisa is following her. Lisa picks up the pace, but keeps trying to avoid rowdy crowds. Rebecca keeps looking back and gets further and further away from her pursuer, who becomes desperate to get to her. Suddenly, Rebecca is out of Lisa's view and Lisa's stops and looks three hundred degrees in all directions. Rebecca has disappeared from view. Lisa seems to recognize Rebecca, even if they hadn't seen each other since they were nine years old.
Francis Bay, Long Island.
Wilson Residence.
Bethany meets with Benjamin in his cabin house and tells him, she thinks Joshua is onto them, when she not only discovered Dominic's secret computer system (Possibly Cosmos related), she also tells him, she caught Joshua sneaking something into his pocket and that he's concealing possibly incriminating evidence.
"We have to get to rid of this asshole," Benjamin frets. "If we don't we're fucked."
"My worst fears, might be closer than I thought," Bethany worries.
"What do you mean mother?"
"Harry is acting weird. Quite edgy towards me lately."
"Even if you love him and he suspects us, you can't risk ruining everything. We've sacrificed enough."
"I know that. How he knows or if he possibly knows, could be connected to his Bastard son."
"What about Rebecca? What if she's in on it too?"
"This breaks my heart. But, if push comes to shove. I will have to sacrifice my love for Harry. No matter how much it destroy's me. But, Joe Hayes manipulation of Harry, which I discovered on that tape did prove one thing though. His love for Tina, will always be stronger, than his love for me - That's if he loves me."
"So, Mom, what do we do?"
"We wait. Sooner or later, the shit will hit the fan. I hope I'm wrong. But, hunches could become dangerous."
"Maybe in time, we may have to rid, Harry, Rebecca, Joshua and Dominic."
"And what if Deloris discovers her worst horror?" Bethany queries.
"What last resort has become no option, this last year mother," Benjamin replies.
Rebecca pulls up in the driveway and Bethany and Benjamin acknowledge her presence.
In the house, Harry taps Joshua on the shoulder and has flashes of his son concealing the tape recorder. He sists beside his middle offspring and smiles.
"Good job son. Keep it safe. We'll pick the right moment...in time."
