Two weeks after the battle Anne's arm injury had fully healed leaving a cool-looking scar where it had been. The two weeks had been peaceful for the town letting them rebuild without worry, even so, Anne remained constantly vigilant fearing that more frobots would come to wreak havoc again to finish the job. With Anne fully healed and the town fully rebuilt, the mayor decided to throw a party for the completion of the rebuilt town and to thank Anne for defending them.

The party was wonderful, there was live music, a dance floor, and tons of food. The whole town gave Anne their utmost gratitude for defeating the metallic attackers before going about and having fun eating food and dancing, even Hop Pop decided to… well nobody would call it dancing, but he was having fun on the dancefloor. Anne was happy, the town was peaceful, and they finally accepted her, and all it took was for her to fight frobots that were trying to kill her and stop them from destroying the town.

Anne, needing a break from the large crowd constantly surrounding her made her way to the edge of the party with some juice. She could finally let herself relax, really relax, after this long Anne had concluded that there weren't going to be any more robots coming to get her, after two weeks of nothing the chances were slim there would be more anytime soon.

"Anne?"

An unknown voice rang out from behind Anne. That voice sounded extremely familiar to her, she turned around and gasped. Two figures stood in the shadows, one a large toad, the other as tall as her, and looked human. The two figures stepped out of the shadows into the light revealing themselves. The toad was dark green, he was wearing armor and had a large scar running over his right eye. The taller one was indeed human, she was also wearing armor, and her hair was a bright blond up in a ponytail.

"No way, Sasha! You're here?" Anne yelled before charging at Sasha.

"Anne! It really is you!" Sasha yelled before charging at Anne.

The two girls met halfway, them both squeezing the life out of each other. Their yelling and subsequent hug had gotten the attention of all the frogs at the party making them all come over and see what the fuss was about.

"Oh, My, Frog! Another Anne!" Sprig said as all three of the Planters stepped forward out of the crowd that had formed.

"Anne, who is this?" Hop Pop asked.

"Oh right. Guys, this is Sasha my best friend. Sasha, these are the Planters, Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly, I've been living with them."

Sprig hopped over to Sasha and stuck out his hand for a handshake. "I'm Sprig, I'm also Anne's bestie, guess that makes us besties-in-law."

"Does it?" Sasha replied not making any move to shake his hand.

"Sasha, hurry it up. We have to get back to the tower" the large toad behind her said.

"Sorry grime."

"Wait, Captain Grime!" Hop Pop started.

"The cruelest toad soldier!" Sprig continued.

"Ever!" Polly finished.

"Eh, he's not that bad. He's just a big softie." Sasha said trying to calm their nerves. "Well Anne, we have to get back to Toad Tower, but you should totally come with. We can have a slumber party and hang out."

"That would Be AWESOME! Can the planters come?" Anne asked.

"I guess…"

Grime grumbled muttering something under his breath before pulling Sasha away and whispering into her ear. "This wasn't the plan. We are supposed to just take Anne and handcuff her when we get back to the tower. Why are we taking more frogs?"

"I just thought we might be able to keep her well-behaved if we threaten her frog friends." Sasha whispered back.

"Cunning, I like it."

Off the side, Anne was talking to the planters. "Guys, while we're there, please don't mention my Calamity powers to anybody, especially Sasha."

"Uhh, sure Anne" Sprig started. "But why."

"The king is trying to kill me because of these powers, and I don't know how much danger people could be in if they know about it, so I want to try and keep the people who know about it down."

"All right, our lips are sealed." Hop Pop said.

Sasha, Grime Anne, and the planters loaded up into the carriage that will take them back to Toad Tower. On their way, Anne started telling Sasha all about her adventures in Amphibia with Sprig leaving out anything about her Calamity powers. Sasha told her story of how she was captured and put in a jail cell before becoming lieutenant of the Southern Toad Tower by fighting herons alongside Captain Grime.

The group arrived at Toad Tower and Anne was almost instantly dragged away by Sasha wanting to bring Anne to her room and talk. Sprig tried to run after them but was almost instantly blocked by a wall of toads making him sigh in defeat.

Hop Pop put a hand on Sprig's Shoulder. "Leave them be Sprig, it's the first time they've seen each other since coming here. I'm sure they have some things they want to talk about in private."

"All right. By the way, why do you think Captain Grime let us come, it looked like he really didn't want us to come back with him and Sasha."

"Well, I don't know, maybe he is just a softie like Anne's friend said." Suddenly toads placed handcuffed Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly.

"Huh… well I guess that answers my question." Sprig said calmly.

Up in Sasha's room, Anne was in awe. Her room was incredible, there were large paintings, very comfy-looking furniture, and even a few statues of Sasha and Grime.

"Hoopa De Boopa. This is way better than the basement I've been staying in." Anne said in shock.

"You think this is cool." Sasha snapped her fingers. "Yo Brunton, bring me the usual." A toad with a chef hat poked his head through the door and listened to her request before rushing off probably to the kitchen. A few minutes later he came back with large platters of food such as hamburgers, hotdogs, and pizza.

"Pizza? Hotdogs? Hamburgers? Whoa, you've got ketchup?! …It just occurred to me I've been eating bugs for a month." Anne said before digging into the food before her. Sasha dismissed the chef and started eating with Anne, both saying nothing until the end of the meal.

"Thanks for that Sasha. Kinda an odd question but did anything weird happen to you when you got here, like extra weird? Like something to do with colors?"

"No… why?"

"No reason." Anne quickly searched for a new topic to talk about, if Sasha didn't have Calamity powers when she arrived, then she has nothing to worry about. "I'm really happy we found each other. And now we can go looking for Marcy together and find a way home."

"Yeah, I just have one thing I need to do before that." In the blink of an eye, Sasha put a pair of handcuffs on Anne trapping her hands together.

"Huh? Sasha why did you put these on me, it's not funny."

"Well, you see Anne, it was nice catching up with you but you're a criminal. We got orders fro-" Sasha started but got cut off.

"But I didn't do anything" Anne's eyes widened, and she gasped "What did you do with the Planters!"

"You didn't even let me finish, well whatever, let's go."

Sasha led Anne back down from her room back into the courtyard. On arrival, Anne spotted the Planters sitting in a cage in the back of a wagon.

"Anne! Thank frog you're okay!" Sprig yelled at Anne as he spotted her.

"Sprig! Are you guys okay, what happened?" Anne asked back.

"I don't know, once you left, they put us in handcuffs and threw us in this cage."

"That's enough" Grime cut in. "You'll have plenty of time to talk on the way, the ride to Newtopia is a long one."

"Newtopia?" Anne asked.

"Yeah, we received orders from the king to bring you to him. Don't worry Anne, I'm sure we can talk him out of whatever crime you committed and then go find Marcy." Sasha told her.

"No, I can't go there." Anne said in a hushed voice, yet everyone still heard.

"Come on Anne it'll be fine." Sasha tried to move Anne with a small push, but she didn't budge.

"I'm not going to see the King." Anne stood her ground.

"Anne, this isn't funny anymore, let's go. After all, you wouldn't want anything to happen to your frog friends, would you?"

At those words, something inside Anne snapped. Her mind flashed to her friendship with Sasha back on earth, how they always did the things Sasha wanted to do. They almost never did things Anne or Marcy wanted. Her memories switched to Sasha using Anne to get things she wanted, making Anne buy things for her, or using her to get out of school. Anne had even stolen something because Sasha told her to.

Her mind then flashed to her friendship with Sprig, he never used Anne to get things he wanted, they always did things they both wanted to do. Sprig was what a friend should be, Sasha was not. Her mind thought back to what Sprig had said at the lake. 'That doesn't sound like a friend to me, that sounds like a bully.'

"Sprig was right, you're not my friend." Her voice was soft, almost a whisper. Her eyes were looking down at the floor.

"What are you talking about, of course I am."

"You haven't been my friend for a long time. I'm done being manipulated by you." Her voice had raised to her normal talking voice.

"What are you talking about Anne? I wouldn't do that to you, I'm your friend."

Anne's eyes stared into Sasha and her voice was loud. "Friend? Friends don't force each other to do things!" Anne's eyes flashed blue. "Friends don't manipulate each other!" Anne Broke her handcuffs. "Friends don't bully each other!" Anne took a step forward cracking the stone tiles beneath her foot. "And Friends certainly don't threaten each other!" Annes Calamity Powers flared up responding to her anger.

Anne blitzed over to the cage the Planters were being held in and bent the metal bars allowing them to escape. Sasha couldn't move, her body would not listen to her brain out of shock, she could only stare with wide eyes at Anne. Her mind could not comprehend what had happened, at one moment Anne had been yelling at her about how she wasn't her friend anymore, the next her Hair was blue, and she became super strong just like one of those weird cartoons Marcy watched. Anne looked over at Sasha watching to see if she would make a move to attack, but Sasha was still frozen stiff, she could see the hate in Anne's eyes directed at her, but she could also see the pain of betrayal behind them.

"Capture Them!" Grime yelled at his troops. All the toads charge at Anne and the planters with swords raised high intent on recapturing them.

"Steal one of their tarantula mounts. I can't carry you all out of here so that's how we'll escape, I'll hold them off." Anne told the planters. Hop Pop and Polly ran over to the pens holding the tarantulas dodging any toads that were after them. Sprig stayed back hopping on top of the cage they were in and sniping any toad that got close to Hop Pop and Polly with his expert marksmanship and his trusty slingshot.

The hoard of toads coming after Anne was endless, mostly because, even in her enraged state, she didn't want to kill anyone. Even if they were her enemy, they were sentient, they weren't robots or bugs, so she held back causing the toads to just get back up and charge at her again. The swarm was starting to overwhelm her, thinking fast Anne channeled as much energy into her fist and punched the ground causing the ground the shake and sending out a wave of energy that knocked all the toads over. It was a technique she had been practicing ever since she was able to walk around after the robot fight, during said fight halfway through her punches had gotten stronger, able to fully destroy a robot in a punch, and had later learned that she had channel extra energy to different parts of her body making attacks and defense much stronger there.

Before the toads could stand up, Hop Pop and Polly came riding up to her on a tarantula.

"Hop On!" Hop Pop yelled at her.

"Go get Sprig I need to open the gate." Hop Pop nodded to Anne and rode toward the cage to get Sprig. Anne flew toward the large front gate and with her strength pushed it open before jumping on the back of the tarantula with Sprig As they rode out back home.

Sasha ran to the front gate as they left and watched them ride off. Tears threatened to fall from her eyes, those words Anne had said to her had hurt. As they disappeared into the forest Sasha turned around and walked back into Toad Tower and into her room slamming the door behind her. Once she was alone, she started to destroy her room in anger like a small child throwing a tantrum. Anne had chosen those Frogs over her. "If that's how she wants things to be, fine I don't need her." Sasha said to herself.

The next night, when everybody was asleep, a certain Thai girl wasn't. Anne's thoughts kept going back to how things ended between her and Sasha. She still wanted to be her friend, but as it wasn't friendship before, it was a dictatorship. Steeling her nerves Anne snuck out of the house being careful not to wake anybody up and took, off flying in the direction of Toad Tower.

Arriving at Toad Tower Anne snuck her way around the outside until she found the window to Sasha's room. Sasha was still awake, writing something at her desk clearly very concentrated as she didn't hear Anne come in.

"Knock Knock." Anne said sheepishly, a little wary of Sasha's reaction to her being here.

Sasha's head spun around and spotted Anne. Her eyes widened as she stood up and backed away, clearly scared by Anne's sudden appearance. "Anne? What are you doing here."

"Now that we've both had time to cool off, I think we should talk about what happened."

"What's there to talk about? You chose your frog family over me, Your friend."

"What we had, wasn't friendship. Everything was always about you, you used me and Marcy to get things you wanted and forced us to do the things you wanted to do."

"You guys never seemed to have a problem with it."

"Why do you refuse to see anything wrong with how you treated us! Any time we tried to speak up about it you would shut us down. You forced us to do things, you made fun of the things we liked, you made us take the fall for whatever trouble you got into." Anne said counting each reason on her fingers. "You even made me steal the box, and you see nothing wrong with that?" Anne took a deep breath and waited for Sasha to respond.

Neither of them said a word for a few minutes straight, Anne waited for Sasha to say something, an apology hopefully but nothing came. "Fine if that's how it's going to be. I came here because I hoped I could become real friends with you, but I guess that was just a fantasy. See ya later Sasha."

Anne started to walk toward the window with the intent to leave when Sasha finally spoke up again. "Why could you just come with us to see the king, then we could have found Marcy and gone home. Don't tell me you want to stay here?"

"No, I really do want to find Marcy and go home but I can't go see the king." Anne said stopping and turning around to face Sasha.

"Why not."

Anne had been trying to avoid telling her this but clearly Sasha wasn't going to stop until she got the truth. "Because the king wants me dead." The silence in the room was deafening, for the second time tonight Sasha's eyes widened in shock. "I woke up here able to use these powers, and for some reason, because I can use them, he wants me dead. He's already sent robots that tried to kill me, those orders you received were probably just another attempt to kill me."

"Anne, I- I didn't know."

"I know, and I don't blame you for that, I blame you for how you treated me back on earth. I'm going to go find Marcy. When I find her, I'll meet back up with you. This is goodbye for now Sasha." Anne leaped out of the window into the open air before flying away back to Wartwood, leaving Sasha alone in her room, tears falling from her eyes.
