Part 1 - A Shock And Hospital/Police

One late evening, as Matthew had over-worked for a few more hours this evening for his work needed something else by him before leaving for the weekend. He pulled up at their house, and saw through the lights of his car, that someone or something moved around on his front porch, and though maybe an animal or so, as they did have cats around and cats themselves at home.

He took his stuff from the passenger side, then got out and after locking his car up, he began to walk towards his house.

***************Meanwhile inside*********

Matt's wife of 10+ years, Sarah, was with their 4 children, waiting on him as he had texted them about coming home in 20, so she got the food ready to be warm and eaten when he came home. His children had missed him alot this week, as his work had been alot this week. But all the sudden, his yell of help and come quick came, and they all ran out, to see him carry someone inside, and Sarah went forward, and she turned on the lights, and when she did, she took a peak same with Matthew, while she gave out a short scream, Matt swore, and then bent down, said

"Bells?!" Bella's eyes opened, and while she was shivering badly of the coldness of outside, she only said with tears in her eyes;

"Papa. Help." And he gasped of her words at him, he knew that her calling him that word, meant that Charlie was dead or something else had happened to make her call him that word to him. Maria took blankets to cover her, but at the sight of her winch then some glimpse of some bruising around her neck and on her arms, she gasped, and said

"My god, Bella what on earth happened to you, sweetheart?" Bella teared up more, and looked at Maria and said while shivering still;

"He r-raped me, then k-killed Charlie, Papa." At that both of them aswell her "siblings in everything but blood who viewed her as big sister as she was older than themselves" gasped, and Maria had a hand over her mouth, and was rather pale, while Matt said;

"Who did this, Bells?" She began to cry more, and said

"Edward, h-he w-was my e-ex-boyfriend. I should have n-never dated him in f-first place."

At that Matt helped her up, and said to Maria and the kids he was going to take her to the hospital for this is really serious business, and they all nodded understanding, and Bella gave her now scared younger siblings a soft smile, and nod, as they calmed down abit from that look from her.

He helped her into his car, and Maria came after them with new clothes (Sweatpants and a over-sized sweatshirt of his own's aswell underwear.), he took it and thanked her with a kiss, she then smiled at Bella, and the two took off for the hospital.

As soon they pulled up there, 10 minutes later, he carried her on inside, and when the nurse saw him carry her, she gasped and called for a wheelchair, and while doing so, she said in kind voice;

"What happened, Mr?"

"I am Matthew Spears, and this here is my god-daugther, and she needs to see a female doctor, as she needs to have a rape-kit, and examination done, aswell you call the police in."

At that the woman in reception area gasped, before she nodded, then in the mic she called for the on-call female doctor to meet up her patient in room 201, and the two were shown in there by 2 other nurses, and soon the said doctor showed up, and they did the rape-kit, then the police were able to come inside after Bella had gotten re-dressed in her new clothes as the old ones were taken into bags for evidence.

Her rape-kit had gone ok so far, and she was rather tired and cold still but also in alot of pain and flashbacks onto what had happened in that house of her now former father. She was crying in Matt's arms when it all was done and over with, and the doctor gave the two a sympathic look, and the two nurses took out the rape-kit to the police officers outside the room.

Soon they knocked, and was allowed inside, Bella sat in Matt's lap, holding onto him, and he just rubbed her back gently. The police before talking to her, presented themselves to everyone who were who, then after sitting down, one of them pulled out a notepad, and the other then said

"We were called by the hospital, due to your god-daugther had been raped, sir?" Matt nodded then said

"I am sorry, I am Matthew Spears, and I am Isabella Swan's god-father, turned father if anything was to happen to her father, Charles Swan. And it seems to have happened few days ago."

"What happened Ms Swan?" And Bella turned to look at the two, and the two could see tears and bruises on her face, and both softened their looks, and she said after drinking some water to clear her throat;

"It took me 3 days to get here, but what happened well..."

3 days earlier;

Bella and her father was enjoying breakfast together, then she went to her room to get ready for the day ahead, and her father to his to get his last things together before taking off for work at the station. But all the sudden she heard him yell no and then 2 shots were heard, she tried to run for her closet, but she didnt make it, for next she knew she was on her bed, and her clothes were being ripped out, and when she looked up to see who was doing this to her, she screamed out "EDWARD WHAT NO DON'T PLEASE" and he had this deranged look and she couldn't get away from him and his terror of rapes that took hours to do to her. After he finished he punched her and kicked her legs before telling her not to tell anyone, you little whore. And he left her there, bleeding and in alot of pain. She took a break to cry and scream, then she took off into her car, and drove for her safety was with Matt, as she had seen Charlie's dead body in the living room area, and he had been shot in the head and chest, she gulped down the sick, and went off. No neighbours had come out to see what was going on as the gunshots had been loud to wake anyone around them. But none was seen, and she was able to get away and drive off.

Back to the present day

"My god, oh Bella." Matt just said in sad tone aswell anger in it, and the officers were shocked of all the details of what had happened to her and her late father. But the one who had asked about what happened, said

"Your mentioned your father's work, what was he?"

"He was Forks' sheriff, so one of your own."

At that both were wide-eyed, and shocked, before the other one radioed the other ones, to call FBI in, for they also knew about the supernatural aspects of things like themselves did, so they knew by hearing not only was Charlie was of their own, but the bastard who had done it, and raped Bella, was of supernatural being, as in a Cold-One, therefore under the rader for FBI and police all over the world literally.

Bella was in shock that more knew about the vampire and other beings, and she turned to Matt, who just stroked her cheek gently, and said

"It is going to be ok, babygirl. I am right here, and will always be here, like Mama and your siblings now will be."

Bella nodded, and he pulled her gently back into his arms, and held her there. He was in fury and sadness of losing what he thought of being an extra brother. His parents and siblings would be the same when they learned about this.

Bella seemed to notice his stance of anger and sadness, but not being afraid of him, she just snuggled into his arms more, and it made him relax abit and smiled aswell kiss the top of her head gently. The doctor and officers there just smiled at this sight.

After she also had written her statement on what had happened, they were let go, after she gifted them the key to Charlie's house, and told that they would come by tomorrow of updates and more news. Bella and Matt both nodded at that, and they were let go back home for the night.

After they came back home, the other children were in bed and asleep, and Maria gave her a gentle hug, before they helped into a bed and after she fell asleep. Maria asked Matt what the hell had happened, and he broke down in angry tears, and told her everything.

She too ended up in same way as he was in, and they comforted each other before falling asleep in their own bed, just holding onto each other. They could wait to tell the kids and his family of the horrid news and what Bella's state was in. It would be horrid sight tomorrow.
