Today Teodora had the day off from school due to a massive city-wide heat wave that was happening all throughout the city, so city officials closed every school in the city, so none of the students and teachers would end up overheating and pass out from the heat.

Which was good since she and her five friends were able to get in some more time to research Ahuizotl the very demon who had cursed the ghosts and Alebrijie to wander the earth until they could find someone to help them break the curse in order for the four ghosts to finally be reunited with their loved ones in the land of the remembered.

From what friar Godofredo told Teodora, Ahuziotl wanted to change the future by changing the past in order for him and his kin to rule over all of the humans as well as the supernatural creatures that lived all over the world but kept themselves hidden from humanity as the humans might try to hunt them down until he had been stopped.

Try as Ahuziotl might, he had been stopped not only Leo and his friends, but also the supernatural's as well as Quetzalcoatl since no one wanted the demon dog to rule over them, and since Ahuziotl was already in trouble with Quetzalcoatl, trying to put a curse on his king would only lead to more trouble for him so, he settled for putting a curse on Teodora's friends.

But, for now none of the six could figure out how to break the curse, which was leading Teodora to becoming extremely frustrated by the lack of answers as she tossed another book off of her bed which nearly hit Alebrijie's head before he ducked so it phased through Don Andres before the book hit the bedroom wall with a loud 'Bang!' then it landed on the floor of the room.

"Ugh! It's been three days and all we've done is research!" Teodora said with an exasperated sigh, her friends looked at her in worry as they realized that Teodora hadn't had time to rehearse for the school's fairytale play while they've already done a ton of research on Ahuziotl, but still haven't found a way to break the curse that was placed upon them long ago.

"Perhaps a break is in order." Don Andres suggested quickly, everyone agreed with him as Marcella looked through the script that Teodora had for her to practice all of her lines as well as the songs that she would sing before stumbling upon a song that Marcella and Teodora could practice together as a means to distract her from the research that they'd been doing.

"Teodora, do you want to practice this song together?" Marcella asked kindly, the older girl looked at the song in question along with the boys, who became alarmed when they saw the title of the song while Teodora didn't notice the looks of worry on their faces as they tried to change her and Marcella's minds about singing that song in particular since something bad might happen.

"Sure, why not." Teodora responded with a smile, she hoped that Marcella would be able to sing since the song in question since it was the most difficult for any other girl to sing, so Teodora prayed that her new female friend would be able to pull off the vibe needed for this song, but she had a feeling that Marcella would be able to pull off Ursula's dramatic song during practice.

When the music finished playing, Leo, Don Andres, Godofredo and Alebrijie looked at each other in worry before looking at Teodora. "Can you still speak?" Leo asked in concern, Teodora raised an eyebrow at the strangeness of his question while Marcella understood why he asked Teodora that question with a glare on her face that was directed at Leo.

"Yeah, I can still talk. Why?" Teodora asked in confusion, the boys sighed in relief when Teodora answered Leo. "He only asked because we were worried about Marcella taking your voice for real." Alebrijie answered her, that made Teodora stare at the five in confusion since she had no idea what they were talking about at that very moment.

"Why would she take my voice and how would that even be possible?" Teodora asked with narrowed eyes, Marcella sighed in nervousness. "It's because I'm a hechicera." Marcella responded sadly; Teodora knew that word meant sorceress in Spanish then finally made the connection of why the boys had been worried for her voice being stolen by Marcella.

"I highly doubt that Marcella would take my voice in purpose." Teodora replied as she defended Marcella, her five friends looked at Teodora in shock at her sudden defensive attitude towards them but hearing the defense tone in Teodora's voice made Marcella really happy since it had been long time since anyone outside of her group had accepted her, magic and all.

The boys quickly nodded in agreement with Teodora before apologizing to Marcella who in turn forgave them. "Should we get back to researching?" Don Andres asked in order to avoid an argument, his friends shook their heads no since they all still needed a break to help clear their minds or else, they wouldn't get anywhere if they chose to start back up again.

"We still need to clear out minds or else, we'll end up getting stuck again." Teodora told her friends, so they all agreed to extend their break by watching some movies on Teodora's big magic moving box in the living room, and the movie they first started watching was the Little Mermaid, followed by Beauty and The Beast, which they loved.

The six friends were having so much fun watching Disney movies, that they didn't realize that they were being watched by none other than Ahuziotl who had escaped his punishment and was back to finish what he had started centuries ago only this time he was going to extend the curse to Teodora as his plan would take place the day of the play.
