Trent, Sitka and Chayo, along with teams Charly, Pegasus and Phoenix, were assigned to the phase Tonanzin. But Trent realized on Sitka's behavior, he seemed worried, anguished, distracted, upset, so before they proceeded Trent approached him to make him come to his senses.

"Hey, I know your blood is boiling right now. They put you in charge of this phase just because of your brother, but if you let your emotion take over you, we're all screwed including him."

"Is this talk supposed to make me feel better?" Sitka asked, his voice making clear rage was consuming him.

"No, it's supposed to cool your head and make you come to your senses. Your brother's life along with these people is in your hands now, so follow your totem and be a leader."

Sitka took his totem and observed it for a moment, Trent's words made him think. He saw his partners, he knew the most part had family waiting for them back home, on that moment he felt his inner leader coming out. He looked back at Trent and nodded with the head, which sign was returned from the formed Navy Seal as a hand has placed on his shoulder.

"Chayo is time for Saya start to shine"

"Roger that, Saya, check here"

Chayo gave Saya the totem, once the dog got the scent she started to follow it through the dark.

"Follow me"

"Alright, lets move" Sitka

Saya was guiding the group through the dark hallways, Sitka tried his best to keep his head cool since now he was imagining all his little brother should be going through. But he wasn't the only one, Chayo was also fighting against her feelings of guilt and anguish at the same time she tried to focus on the mission.

Now more than ever her mind was more than 100% on the target of the mission.

There was no margin of error.

Everything seemed to be going well so far, they hadn't meet any hostile. The mission seemed easy...

Until everything happened so fast.

The most part of the children had been evacuated, Sonny and Koda were freeing the last group. In a moment Clay came over.

"Are they the last ones?"

"Yeah, it was the last cage" said Sonny as he untied the last kid.

"Good, cause somebody back to base wants to talk to you Koda"

The kid raised his look at hearing his name.

"Havoc this is Bravo 6, how copy?"

"Bravo 6 this is Havoc, what's your status?" Davis

"I request communication with agent of intel Kenai, there's somebody here who wants to talk to him"

Clay gave Koda a communicator explaining how it worked.

"Koda do you hear me?"

"Kenai!"

"Hey little brother! Are you okay?"

"Yeah, Sonny found me" he said as he turned to see Sonny, this one smiled at him and rubbed his hair.

But that cute moment couldn't hide the harsh reality, the ship was every time closer to the portal and there was still people left to evacuate. Finally Jason, Full Metal and their troupes arrived at the extraction point with their target secured. Serkin had his hands tied up behind his back and a black bag over his head.

"Are we complete?" Jason asked Ray

"The children had been already evacuated, this is the las group"

"What about Tonanzin?"

Screams, shootings, darkness, confusion...

Death.

Chayo started to come to her senses, she lost temporary the hearing, she was chest-earth stunned, her vision was blurry even with her glasses.

Saya moved her head with her snout, Chayo tried to move but her body answered badly. She could see Sitka and Trent shooting the enemy as this one was responding. She also remarked the other seals fighting, some of them got wounded, others had fall.

Chayo started to give the battle for lost, the enemy was outnumbering them and had advantage over them in position.

"This is the end. This is as far as I could go, I couldn't do anything. I couldn't protect my family, I couldn't save Isaac. I'm so sorry, to all the ones I care about I've failed them, so if this is my fate, so be it."

Chayo shed a last tear as she closed her eyes.

When she heard a familiar voice, there were screams of pain, crying and whining.

"Denahi" she said as she opened her eyes and recovered her senses.

She tried to move but her body was pretty sore, when she saw Saya frozen before a pile of black packages. Chayo then had an idea, a very crazy, risky and bad idea. Ignoring the pain she dragged herself to the pile, took a package and opened it with her knife.

"Fuck this" she said to next sink her nose on the white powder.

Chayo had never tried drugs in her life, what explained the awful feeling of the cocaine through her airways. Besides that she was consuming a very dangerous dose, but she didn't care she needed all the energy possible to keep forward. Chayo started to feel different, the pain on her body started to disappear, her body temperature started to raise as her heart rate and her blood pressure.

Finally her pupils dilated, she took her weapon and once on her feet she started shooting the enemy.

"CHAYO DON'T!" screamed Sitka at seeing her running.

Chayo didn't listen to him and kept with her attack, she had become a beast. She was shooting to anyone who crossed her way, but in one moment she lost her weapon and an arm took her from behind by the neck. Chayo took the knife from her pants and stabbed her attacker's leg, the man screamed in pain, Chayo retook her knife, headbutt backwards and by a quick movement she gave the final shot in her opponent's throat. Another hostile appeared, by reflex she threw her knife to the head killing the man. She ran to retake her knife without knowing she would be attacked from behind, but she was saved by Saya who attacked the man's arm. The girl got up and ordered her K9 to loose.

"Where's the guy?" said Chayo placing her knee over the baited arm.

"Screw you bitch"

The mercenary screamed as he got shot in his genitals.

"I'll ask you again: Where the fuck is the guy?"

"Chayo"

The girl looked where Trent's voice came from, the rest of the group was behind him. So the med realized on the extreme dilatation of Chayo's pupils.

"Habla antes de que te deje sin huevos cabrón"

The mercenary laughed.

"You're late, we already took care of him"

Sitka was consumed by anger, what explained the punch on the face of his enemy. He then took him from the shirt and placed a blade on his throat.

"What did you do to my brother?"

Some closed screams answered his question. Chayo located her M4 and she quickly gave Saya the totem to smell one more time. The dog started to follow the scent with Chayo behind her until a door where they could be heard evil laughs and screams of pain. Chayo shot the lock and kicked the door, inside were three men: two mercenaries and a young half naked man chained up to the ceiling with a gag on his mouth: it was Denahi. Saya attacked the arm of one of the torturers as Chayo filled with holes the other one and finished blowing off the head of the first one with bullets.

Once more calm she walked to her boyfriend, Denahi was shaking as for the cold as for the trauma of being tortured.

"No! Please leave me alone!" he said as he felt hands on his head. Although his words were muffled by the gag.

"Flaquito it's me"

Denahi opened his eyes and thought he was hallucinating.

"¿Qué te hicieron esos cabrones?" asked Chayo as she took off the gag from his mouth.

"Chayo? You're here? Or am I dead already?"

"Quisieras" she said chuckling and then gave him a kiss in the lips.

"But how is this possible? I saw you die" said Denahi almost in a sob.

"It's a long story"

"Denahi!"

"Sitka!"

He and Trent enter the chamber. Trent quickly located the keys and free Denahi, Chayo and Sitka already had him so there was no risk of falling. They carefully placed him on a chair so that Trent could check on him, there they could see the blues, cuts, burns, whips, missing nails, holes in the hands and feet, they saw the blood on the gag and realized on the missing molars.

But the worst part was the blood between his thighs.

"Denahi" said Chayo trying to control her voice "...D...Did they..."

Denahi looked away in shame. He thought the love of his life would reject him now that his dignity was stolen. But Chayo wrapped him in a hug trying to nut hurt him and kissed him in the head.

"You're safe now brother" Sitka "We'll take you home"

"Where's Koda?"

"He's free now" said Trent as he finish to check him up "They just said by radio that Horus and Artemis were successful"

"Alright, Havoc this is Phoenix 1, phase Tonanzin completed, repeat, phase Tonanzin completed. Proceeding to the extraction point"

"Good copy Phoenix 1, phase Tonanzin completed" Davis

Chayo had removed the shirt and pants from the blown up head body to dress Denahi up. Trent bandaged his hands and feet as Sitka put him on some boots carefully to not harm him.

"Can you walk?" Chayo

"Let me see"

Trent and Sitka helped him up, but at the first step Denahi felt again the pain on his feet.

"No, wait, I can't...it hurts so much"

"It's okay, I'll take you on my shoulders" Sitka.

The oldest took him from the wrists and a leg and placed him over his shoulders.

"Give me a weapon"

"Denahi"

"I'm injured, I know, but I want to help. So give me a weapon."

Sitka looked at Trent and nodded. Trent took a 9mm from the bodies and gave it to Denahi.

"Magazine is full"

"Thanks"

"Okay let's go" said Chayo but Trent stopped her by the shoulder.

"Let me see your eyes"

Without even asking he took away her glasses, opened the left eye and light it up with a small light flash. The pupil was more dilated than normal, her right eye was the same.

"What's wrong?" asked a worried Sitka

"Nothing let's go"

The group started to walk to the extraction point, more hostiles appeared, Sitka stayed on the back to protect his brother. But Behind him appeared three mercenaries, Denahi aimed at the target and did three perfect shots to each head. Sitka looked back at hearing the weapon and saw the three corpses, then his brother.

"See? Not that useless after all"

Chayo threw a smoke grenade to the hall and eliminated two targets, then she saw an opportunity for Saya which she took. Once the dog had the target down Chayo did the final shot with two bullets at the head. When she saw one of the mercenaries running to an exit. Without thinking she began to follow him until she realized where he was going: the place where the kids were kept. Chayo sprinted to him, he was about to shoot when by the speed, the girl grabbed him from the head with her arms and both of them flew over the rail. They fell over a platform, but Chayo was faster, took her knife and stabbed him in the neck multiple times.

On that moment she felt a bunch of looks over her, she raised her head and realized on the faces of the others. Bravo was watching her in shock while Koda was looking horror what she had done: the corpse, the blood on her knife, hands and face, that look of rage. Koda knew that Chayo was a warrior and she was very protective, but he never thought she would be capable of such action.

"Hey" Brock "You okay Kiddo?"

Chayo nodded to him.

"Yeah...yeah I'm okay"

Finally Trent, Sitka and the others arrived at the extraction point. The last ones to come in blocked the entrance and joined the rest. As they evacuated the last kids Trent took Chayo from the arm and lead her to a corner.

"Trent let go off me"

"Your pupils are not supposed to be this dilated. What was it?"

Chayo didn't say a word, but the simple gesture of her nose told Trent everything. And made him even more worried.

"How much?"

"..."

"Chayo how much did you take?"

"Don't know...half a package...maybe more"

"WHAT?!"

"It was that or that they massacre us back there!"

"Hey what's going on her" said Jason as he approached to them.

Both looked at Bravo 1, then at each other.

"You tell him or me?"

Chayo sighted looking away.

"Tell me what?"

"..."

"Well?"

"We were ambushed and I got unconscious and stunned. My body hurt and I couldn't move, so Saya found a pile of narcotics. I took a package, opened it, I saw it was cocaine and sniffed it"

"How much did you take?"

"Half a package, maybe more. But I'm fine..."

But then Chayo almost hit the ground when she walked to Jason, lucky he reached to catcher before and helped her to take a sit.

"Trent give me the symptoms of an overdose"

"Agitation, convulsions, shivers, delusions, paranoia, hallucinations, trouble breathing, nausea, throw up, aggression and in worst of cases...death"

Jason then saw Chayo helpless, her state wasn't the best on that moment. Furthermore, he ignored if she would survive the overdose.

But they didn't have time for that, there were more hostiles in the ship and they were approaching more to their position. Plus, the ship was still in movement, if it made it to cross the portal with everybody aboard it would be too late. Since back to the port there were more men, better armed waiting for the merchandise to arrive.

"Jace..."

Chayo took an USB key from a pocket and gave it to Jason.

Meanwhile Denahi has being checked by a med. But he didn't leave his look from the place where his girlfriend was, something was wrong, he could feel it in his gut. He tried to get up but the pain returned him to his place.

"Don't try too hard Denahi" Sitka told him as he placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I gotta see Chayo"

"She's fine" he lied.

Sitka also knew that something was wrong with Chayo, after few minutes she, Jeson and Trent came back with the group. Just to receive bad news from Davis by radio:

"All the units at the ship, be advised, you have what it seems to be various hostiles getting close to your position. ISR shows the ship is getting even closer to the portal"

"Havoc this is Bravo 1, how long for both events?"

"Less than ten minutes"

"Okay, we gotta get out of here now"

The group approached to the exit, a boat was ready but there was not enough space for everybody. So they divided into two groups, between the first one was Clay, Sonny, Koda and Brock.

Chayo helped Denahi to get up and walk over the exit where the boat was waiting for them. The group was already aboard, Chayo ordered Saya to jump over and was cached by Trent, now it only missed the young couple.

"Denahi your turn" said Sitka.

But his brother denied, insisting on Chayo going first.

"If you haven't realize you're hurt"

"I don't care, you go first"

"Flaquito look at me" said Chayo taking his head with her hands and looked at his eyes "Isaac was as wounded as you when I lost him, I'm not going to loose you too, I'm not gonna make the same mistake"

They saw the fog getting closer as well the red lightnings.

"Bravo one this is Havoc base, you have to get out of there now!" Blackburn

Denahi took his girlfriends hands.

"I can't Chayo, not without you"

Chayo tried to hold the tears, she then took off her military plates and placed them around her boyfriend's neck, she cupped his head again and kissed him passionately, giving all her love through that gesture. She tried for the kiss to last the most, since it would be the last one they would ever share.

"Then you give me no choice" she whispered

"What...what are you saying?"

"...I love you"

Chayo pushed Denahi as he was catch by Sitka and Trent.

"Get him out of here!"

"No! Chayo!"

"Start the engine Ray!" ordered Jason.

Ray started to browse full steam ahead to firm land.

Chayo didn't have much time, not only because the enemy was at the door, but also because the overdose was finishing her. She quickly opened some fuel containers and poured the liquid everywhere, to the point of even shower on gasoline.

Meanwhile in the boat Denahi hadn't stop to struggle, yelling they had to go back for Chayo, that they couldn't abandon her, but nobody listened to him. Sitka tried to calm him down as he hugged him and tried to give him comforting words.

Back to the ship Chayo was lying against the exit, she had put some empty containers to hide it. Now she was only waiting for the Russians to come, she had to hold on the longest she could since the overdose was killing her.

"The same situation, right homie?"

She looked at her left and saw where the voice came from.

"Hi Isaac. Am I hallucinating?"

"But we're having this conversation"

Both laughed a little, then Chayo saw Isaac's destroyed legs.

"I'm so sorry Isaac, I couldn't save you."

"No, it was not your fault. You didn't know there was a snipper. In fact, you did save him. You know who I'm talking about."

The last part made her smile and shed a small tear, Isaac returned the smile.

Then the sound of the entrance being forced was heard along with some voices. Isaac sent him a determined look at the same time he raced his hand.

"Vatos Locos por siempre"

Chayo looked him the same as he took his hand and squeezed it.

"Vatos Locos por siempre"

Chayo closed her eyes and focused on all the good memories through her life. She remembered the street where she lived along with all her family, the good moments she spent with her sisters, her parents, and the rest of her family. She remembered when she met Isaac in bootcamp, the adventures they had on training, the pranks they played in the barracks. She remembered when she first met Denahi, when they saved each other, when Denahi asked her to be his girlfriend and both of them discovered love.

When she opened her eyes Isaac was already gone, Keldysh appeared from behind a structure followed by some men. He couldn't believe the girl he had killed was still alive, but he suspected it was because of the same magic they used.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here"

Chayo just looked at him with hate and contempt.

"Seems your friends have abandoned you, better for me. Now I'll finally have fun with you" he said as he undid his pants "I've been waiting so long for this moment"

But Chayo just smiled and gave him a middle finger.

"Keep waiting bitch"

And she pressed the detonator bonded to a suicide belt.

The boat reached firm land and everyone came out of the small vehicle. But then Brock realized that there was one person missing.

"Wait, where's Chayo?" Brock asked Trent as they approached "Trent where is she?"

Denahi got up from where Sitka had placed him and started to walk to the boat ignoring the pain.

"Denahi wait!" Sitka

"I have to go back for her!"

He was at few steps from the boat when the explosion happened, destroying all the ship. The shock wave reached land and knocked everyone down. Denahi struggled to incorporate...

Just to witness with horror the ship on fire.

"NO!"

Denahi tried to run to the shore after the wave sent him back. But Sitka stopped him, trying to calm him down as his little brother was fighting him, crying out of pain and yelling his girlfriend's name.

Brock didn't stay behind, the moment he saw the explosion he reacted the same way as Denahi. Trent was the one who stopped him since Brock was pushing forward, he knew his baby girl was still there and he had to save her. Even Saya was hold by Clay as she barked frantically at the ship on fire.

"NO! CHAYO!"

"Denahi stop!"

"LET ME GO! I HAVE TO GO BACK FOR HER!"

"Denahi she's gone! There's nothing else you can do"

"No, no she's still there, I know it!"

"Denahi, Chayo is gone. I'm so sorry brother"

Denahi looked at the ship one last time, with his face full of tears.
